How disappointing. Turns out the constant "cheap coins" yellers have no money after all with which to buy a bounce. Everyone has been 'all in' since June. I think the price is being kept low to encourage wall street to buy into the eft later this year

Some of the mistakes that still crop up in bitcoin news reports are incredible. a 1.4 acre site near Lake Tahoe in California has been sold in exchange of 1.6 million bitcoins. The transaction marks one among the latest series of real estate deals, but has set a record in terms of its price, where the bitcoins were priced at 2,739. For journalism, that was pretty accurate. After all, getting those articles out there, that's the most important thing. Only nerds care about content, and heck, give them some slack, the numbers could've been off much more! Journalists today will do and say whatever makes the headlines look better today. It just shows that there was 0 research made before they posted their article. Lets pretend for a second that the claimed price of bitcoins is the future price of btc, like in 2 months Sounds more likely that is was just a typo - occam's razor right?

Interesting concept. I like your idea.
From my perspective, however, simply raising awareness of Bitcoin is insufficient. A lot of people know about Bitcoin, but do not investigate it further. Time/money would be better spend on helping people get started with Bitcoin.

What is the keywords you want to rank? How much your average budget per keywords? Keywords have different difficulty in ranking. Maybe I can help you, I know both white hat and blackhat seo. I can also reverse seo your rival sites.
Not cool

We will look back in 3 months and call this crash a bear trap. MARK. MY. WORDS.

There is also very compelling evidence that Satoshi was murdered

This topic is a recurring one in this section and others. There are many similar articles about this matter. The point is that Bitcoin has value because it is decentralized and because you don't have to trust a single central entity to be sure everything is alright. When this is not the case anymore, another cyptocurrency could be created by those people who were in because of this, and that number can only grow with time considering where the status quo brought us. Even new political parties are moving towards a decentralized structure or a more dynamic one anyway (at least in Europe). You can argue at that point institutions would ban any other currency, but that's a whole other story and consequences would be quite "cyberpunkish" I think.
But those central entities will be much quicker to spot potential threats after they are familiar with Bitcoin. They could simply gain control of any competing coins, unless there is some kind of innovation that ensures decentralization

A day too early with the thread it seems

It's great that companies are in talks to be honest as this is what bitcoin needs however we need more action and less talking, all the companies seem to be doing is going into discussions but we never really see any outcomes from these discussions.
Discussion is good. No company is going to make a sudden decision to accept Bitcoin. Imagine proposing to accept Bitcoin at board meeting with aprox 10 other directors. It wouldn't be surprising if at least 2 other directors think it is a ponzie scheme, not real money or criminal money. It takes time to win people over.

Not yet. The price will go up with adoption. We know this, yet rail against it. "We want stability" people cry, but that is impossible at this stage. It's a speculators game all the way to the top, when the market is eventually saturated. After that, it will be primarily a currency and secondarily a speculative asset. Right now it is the reverse, and it will stay that way for at least a few years.
But what about merchant adoption? What about Dell? They are just getting started early. They accept bitcoin not because there is much reason to, but because there is no reason not to. Even at early mainstream adoption, it may not necessarily increase their profits by much - but not having the option would hurt it. Just as we can see what investing in bitcoin now can turn into years down the line, so do they. We just have different angles on it.
Buy, wait, trade if you want and enjoy the ride. But please stop being irrational about it along the way.
Is gold a currency? Bitcoin has far more chance as a store of value than it has as being a currency. The only thing that is stopping it is the manipulation, and if it will go to new highs, it will be presented in the worst light until it is controlled in most volume by 1%. The problem is that to be a store of value it needs to have value. Will it have value if it is not a currency?

You should just include the biggest companies accepting Bitcoin such as: Dell Dish Overstock Expedia Wikipedia OkCupid New Egg

More good news? Dammit! Bitcoin is going to go down another 5% now

Better yet, don't be that guy six months from now laying awake in bed at night asking himself if he should sell what's left of his bitcoin stash for $200 each or hold on, hope for the best, and go down with the ship if necessary.
This ship isn't sinking, though. It only feels like it is. Any *thinking* person that takes a step back and looks at the current Bitcoin landscape and doesn't see the big picture doesn't deserve to make any money. Focusing *solely* on price is idiotic. Nailed it. Idiots do not deserve to make money

Tomorrow morning I will fulfill at least one of this requests!
Well the car is already shown (only 3 cars are planned, and 1 is not yet bought, 1 in in repairs and the last one is already shown in the internet). Cigar room is forbidden to photograph. So it must be the wine cellar. But do it from outside, no not reveal how much we have there to the robbers.. I can't find any pictures of the car

I can't believe some people here think giving someone 150 Bitcoin to name their baby after Satoshi is a good idea.
