1021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you interested in Bitcoin because of the concept or to get rich? on: September 03, 2014, 10:10:05 AM
What about businesses and online retailers though?  What do you think their thoughts are?   More so new customer traction due to bitcoin?   hoarding coins?  to gain more profit for product sales?

What do you mean? For businesses bitcoins are fantastic, as they can't get scammed and they don't have to pay any fees for accepting them. They don't lose anything for offering customers to pay with them.
Unfortunately 90% of businesses accepting Bitcoin are doing it for the publicity

1024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: proposal for inflation for crypto-currencies on: September 02, 2014, 05:21:08 PM
If you increase supply, you reduce price assuming demand is held constant.  Therefore you cannot reward miners with inflation.

Infinite divisibility of Bitcoin means there is no need for inflation

1028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Low-cost Firefox Phones Could Bring Bitcoin to Developing World on: September 02, 2014, 10:24:32 AM
There will be cheaper solutions, like sending bitcoin through SMS with Nokia bricks.  But it is good publicity.

1030  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [NEW] Bitcoin Engine for any peice of software with currency. on: September 01, 2014, 10:47:06 AM
Bitcoin price fluctuations will not matter too much if transactions are quick.

Having a 100% pre-mine will result in lots of scam accusations.

Your best option is to use Bitcoin and benefit from the existing network effects.
