1261  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Role of sports in politics on: March 04, 2022, 08:55:24 PM
There’s a good reason why sports exist, unfortunately it is being used in politics and honestly, there are so much politics on most of the sports especially in my country where athletes are being treated no fairly. Sports is a place where every country can showcase their talents, this is an event where you can find unity and peace, its just that many still want to take advantage of this.
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Promising Altcoins That Failed? on: March 03, 2022, 09:53:25 PM
Lot’s projects we’re talking here, most of the project here claim to be the next ETH and yet they are still failing. I still some projects that are still on the exchanges but they just like a shit tokens already, they failed terribly. Some turn into a scam, and I invest on some good projects before but they are not able to survive the pressure from this market, too bad for the investors.
1263  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake charging $3.09 on a $1.69 withdraw on: March 03, 2022, 09:37:17 PM
You have no idea if you think that is wrong, not only gambling sites, even exchanges has some fixed withdrawal fee per currency and it's higher than the actual cost of blockchain fee, that's normal man, live with it, otherwise, don't gamble.
This is why you have to check the fees before withdrawing you so can know if the money is worth it considering the cost of it. This is a fix one and OP can’t do anything about it, better to withdraw on a bigger money than to make any partial withdrawal with that small money. I’m pretty sure you can still hold that money instead of withdrawing it.
1264  Economy / Gambling / Re: sportsbet.io lowers my odds !!!!! on: February 28, 2022, 09:23:57 PM
The sooner you acknowledge the fact that you can't win against the house in the long term, the better it is for your mental and body health. Casinos are here to take your money. It is not the other way around. Gambling is not a job. If you enjoy playing that's fine but never think that you can turn it into a job. If you want to have a job as a gambler, start your own casino.

Betting on sports or (in events) in general its not the same thing as playing casino games, some peoples can be very skilled, and there is been many ones that have turned it to their regular job !
We always depends on the odds on sports betting so yeah its quiet different on playing games in casinos but still this is gambling, there’s still a huge risk here. OP the site already explained everything to you and better to accept it because they are right, they can lower your odds at anytime as long as it works with their terms and regulations, you can’t so anything about that anymore.
1265  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🥇 Crashino.com 🚀 Provably Fair Crash Games, Casino and Sportsbook ✌ No KYC on: February 28, 2022, 09:10:49 PM
"Accessing to Crashino.com is restricted for residents in Australia, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Israel, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United States and United Kingdom."
If you mention the list of restricted countries, of course, my country is not listed in it. Then to check it again, I still can't click the currency button, it's still like the picture I shared above.

Therefore, I think I will contact them through support to find out more about what problems are preventing me from registering at their casino.
Which country you came from?
Maybe there is something bad on the site that wont work for you. I want to try as well though OP is still not answering some of the questions here and that makes me think if this is worth to try or not. Let’s me know if you already able to access the site and please share your experience so far.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 28, 2022, 08:28:02 PM
Of course, Inoue would not fight Casimero if he can't successfully defend his title, it will be a unification fight once the big fight will happen to benefit Inoue. I am confident that Casimero will win but I'm not confident that Inoue will give him the fight easily, it still defends on Bob.
That’s true, winning on this match doesn’t guarantee a way to fight Inoue, this will still depend on the management and if there’s a money here that will in favor to Inoue win or lose so most probably this will not be an easy deal to set up. Maybe Casimero should not think with Inoue for now, better to focus with Butler and just keep working until they reach the level of Inoue.
1267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be comfortable with your strategy! on: February 28, 2022, 08:18:09 PM
Know what works for you and stick to it, that's 2 thing Ive learnt and still holding unto over the years. The fact that a particular strategy favours Mr. X doesn't mean Mr. Y would tell similar stories if he adopts the method, just develop on your own strategy and be contented
You can follow their advices as a newbie but once you already know how to trade properly, its always good to have your own strategy that can work with you anytime. Though, you should be more active on making your strategy and change if from time to time because the market grows and what works today might not work again so keep monitoring the market and adopt the trend.
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the war on: February 28, 2022, 08:07:35 PM
Futuur site almost have everything on their site, even a bet on politics is possible and with this one I think its not that unethical since it talks about the invasion of Russia over Ukraine which is a total prediction a month ago and no one ever knows that we will end into this kind of situation right now. If you feel bad about it, just don’t place a bet.
1269  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: February 28, 2022, 07:51:45 PM
That idiot is now threatening the world with nuclear weapons! It's time for the Russian people to overthrow the tyrant themselves if they don't want to end up behind the Iron Curtain again. I would support a boycott for the time being.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

This is a huge threat so far that could affect many lives, we should support the boycott and let the Russia fall on their mistake, war is not a solution but It looks like they are so serious about this and we should all be ready for that. I’m not using any Russian based gambling site and Now I’m looking if I’m into Russian exchanges because I’ll leave as early as now since their services can be affected as well. I hope western countries can do everything to prevent the WW3.
1270  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: February 28, 2022, 07:42:07 PM
Will there ever come a time that the government reaction to crypto will be encouraging for the people? Lately the head if international monetary fund Christine lagarde stated that regulatory action from the international community on crypto is inevitable ..what do you think
This is really inevitable, We can see this on the current situation between Ukraine and Russia it looks like the international board can really do everything and this regulations might happen to prevent any illegal funds coming into a specific place so we can expect a regulatory body in the future. Though cryptocurrency should remain decentralized, but that regulation is something we should be more ready when it happens.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 28, 2022, 02:46:28 PM

And the current memes I saw after that SMB losing last night is, they need to hire 2 imports lol.
Hiring two imports it sounds good 😄 haha just kidding. Anyways I think they will still in adjustment, cause changing and have a new import has take time to adjust the play.
But if they will loss their upcoming games and then there's a problem with the players cause they have a good import but still can not win their match.
Or maybe the opponent team was too good for them? Well, they are still on the elimination round and have a chance to proceed on the next round so maybe they can do better by that time so let's not judge them yet and let them play their game.

Their import was great last night, I hope he can still do that in the up coming games to boost the morale of the team and to go back to the winning column.
1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's meta here and there on: February 28, 2022, 01:51:30 PM
To all newcomers on here pls be careful with projects that start with the name "META" because they are mostly scam projects, since metaverse have become another hot cake in crypto world today this scammers are fully ready to use this on the unknowns, open your eye and do good research before taking that risk... Meta this and mate that are the most dangerous projects today, stay safe.
Fake projects are every where, if there's a new trend expect them to be there as well.
We should get used to it and know how to avoid them so you can be safe and you will not fall for those fake projects. Metaverse is getting more popular everyday, they are still on their first phase and we can expect more from them. I believe in the next bull trend, they will go all out and expect those good projects to be on top so better not to waste your money on fake projects and invest only on the most trusted Meta tokens.
1273  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 28, 2022, 01:08:28 PM
Yeah i see this time there are less entries and still there are few winning members from previous contests like @Maus0728 and others top winners who still have not submitted their artworks.
I don't know man!

There is a fuckton of academic workload pouring in to my schedule, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to submit an artwork before the deadline! But, sure, I'm in the process of finishing my entry, perhaps tomorrow morning or right before the thread gets locked. I just hope that I can finish it right on time while maintaining the quality.

Goodluck to all other participants! And yeah! school sucks! -_-
Yeah i know how hard it's to manage all the works simultaneously and this is why i am also not able to prepare the art for competition as you know stuck in some personal works. But it's good that you have managed your time being a student for competition and surely you could submit it before the time ends and have the chance of winning. So best wishes to you and all others.
Great works are usually being submitted on the last day of the contest though usually, Sir. Hhampuz extended the deadline for a week which I think is not fair to those who work hard to finish their art work on time. The contest should be more strict to the deadline, because every time there's a contest there's a one week extension. 1 month preparation is already enough I believe, do your best if you want to win and no more excuses.  Smiley
1274  Local / Pilipinas / Re: RUSSIA vs UKRAINE - EPEKTO SA PILIPINAS on: February 28, 2022, 12:59:16 PM
Yes, magkakaroon talaga ito ng epekto para sa atin kase nga, tumaas ang presyo sa world market and wala tayong control para dito, expect na magtataas den talaga ang presyo ng mga basic goods.

With regards to stocks, hold lang ako for my long term goal and since I do invest on both market, I still prefer stocks for my long term and crypto for trading and holding as well. You can have both, just have a good budgeting strategy.

I think nakikita na natin ang epekto ng gera between Ukraine and Russia lalo na't kung titignan natin yung prices ng gas ngayon. Grabe, from P50-P80 per liter ng gasolina ngayon. This makes me appreciate and think of buying a bicycle kasi sobrang mahal na talaga ang gas to the point na mas pipillin mo na lang din mag commute kesa mag dala ng sariling kotse.

1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 27, 2022, 09:52:05 PM
Looks like the expectation is too high for the SMB now that they have a new import, as I'm seeing, Magnolia has moved the ball very well making everyone contribute, it is just too smooth for them while the SMB struggles to make points. I hope that will not frustrate them going forward, also Romeo was not playing like he usually does, lots of tuning that needs to be done for this team.

We can't blame the people who has high expectations for this new import of SMB. Imagine, they have replaced Johnson who have won them two consecutive games after that debut lose. Johnson at this time have jelled well with the locals of SMB but still he replaced him because Muhammad's basketball resume is hard to pass up.

Though they lose this one, there is still time to catch up as they are still in the middle of the standings but they should win their remaining games so to avoid complications of a quotient system.
There’s always a high expectations from the imports, their purpose is to lead the team because they are consider as a best player, so we cannot blame people from expecting too much from SMB and their imports. Local players should really help their imports and play as a team, SMB is known for this maybe they just need more playing time together, better luck next time SMB its better to bounce back and stay on the elimination round.
1276  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: February 27, 2022, 09:47:48 PM
1xBet and 1xBit already consider here as a scam site, so technically gamblers are not into this platform well at least those who are here in the forum, they can’t fool people here.

Boycotting something from Russia is fine as long as you believe that they deserve it, though I’m not into Russian gambling site since its very rare to hear good projects from them but if ever, I’m willing to boycott it even if I’m not a big time gambler because I know it can still affect them.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The way things are going with new crypto is worrisome on: February 27, 2022, 09:44:36 PM
Almost everyone I knew now creates their own tokens  Grin these guys aren't even crypto developers to begin with, they have no coding experience or knowledge now this makes me worry, imagine how many crypto tokens that are created by inexperienced personal, I think we need to buckle up for there will be huge rain of scam tokens upon us than what we've seen before...... Sigh! I wish that only few qualified people knew how to build blockchain projects.

There were huge number of scam token between 2018 to 2019. Too many token mostly deflationary were created that time. There were hype about low supplied token that time. All those project is dead right now. All those token were created by non developer people. But right now the situation is better than that. IDO platform gives investors some security.
IDO is a great platform where you can invest on a legit project, yes many can easily create their own token but nowadays, you can easily spot a legit one compare to a scam tokens. Though newbies are still vulnerable to this as they are the main target of those scammers, we should always remind newbies not to invest easily on a new project without doing any analysis.
1278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Proper risk management? on: February 27, 2022, 09:36:53 PM
Monitoring your activities is always a good one, and you should always know when to stop even if you still have the capital left. Thanks for sharing this tools to easily monitor your wins and losses, this can be a big help if you do this correctly. Though, you can’t fully depend on this better to setup everything before you start trading or even in gambling, and commit to that so you can avoid further losses.
1279  Local / Pilipinas / Re: RUSSIA vs UKRAINE - EPEKTO SA PILIPINAS on: February 27, 2022, 09:25:17 PM
Germany also commit for the Military aide, and sobrang daming sanctions na against Russia, hinde man nila ito
Maramdaman panigurado in long term magsusuffer din sila.

Although, based on news maraming lugar na ang nakuha ng Russia, at patuloy na lumalala ang sitwasyon doon. Sana lang talaga may magawa ang ibang country to stop this war. Marame ren ang nababahala na baka Taiwan na ang susunod na makakaranas nito, wag naman sana.
Peace talks are possible now, both Ukraine and Russia agreed to this one so sana maging successful ang peace talk at magkaroon na ulit ng kapayapaan. China should now do any foolish thing kase ang Taiwan ay palaban den at syempre as promised by USA, they will help Taiwan so I doubt na ito na ang susunod na sasakupin, China can’t afford to have more economic sanctions as well.
1280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best future type of trading on: February 26, 2022, 09:46:32 PM
They are all good depends on your own strategy, so what’s work for you should be your best strategy.
I personally prefer more as a swing trader, I don’t trade that much and just waiting for the right time to buy and sell. Though I also do trading if I see good opportunity, I believe its better to be more flexible on this market since there’s a lot of ways to make money especially in trading.
