Well in as much as I ascribe to that but not in totality to say that being an A student or having high IQ doesn't matter because it does matter at least to have high IQ. IMO football has lifted so many families out of poverty and including countries. For example hosting football tournament boost some country's economy because of the monies that will be generated from different sources to the economy and to individuals. It creates jobs.
