More likely re-branding. Just like Hash Master is doing also.

Mine what ever algo is profitable at the moment, then trade for DRK on an exchange. Dark isn't to profitable to mine direct unless you have major hashrate.

Is there another exchange that trades this, other than BTER.com?
1284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What to mine with CPU? on: May 30, 2014, 11:21:53 PM
FCN is profitable, but cpu only coins are prone to being network monopolized by botnets.

Most CPU coins are now GPU coins thanks to CCminer et al.

There isn't a gpu miner for Cryptonote coins yet and more likely not for a good while. The Cryptonight algo is a challenge to port over.
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source XPM Pool + GPU Miner (aka. madPrimeMiner) on: May 30, 2014, 09:16:08 PM
There is possibility to set web frontend on 1st server, pool software on 2nd server and node on 3rd server.
But who cares if even such big pools with big money going thru them as BTCGuild weren't ddos resistant.

The DTC pool doesn't show the miner stats, but it does show the balance.

Help with setting 6750 13.12 drivers constantly HW  Sad
Unfortunately, still no progress with 5xxx/6xxx cards.

I have no issues with x11mod on the 6900's series cards, but the 5800's series cards some times have issues. 5xxx/6xxx just have too many issues with x13mod.

I'm running 14.4 driver on the 6900's cards.

anyone has settings for 6750

Code:
"device" : "0,1,2",
"intensity" : "18",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "128",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "8000",
"gpu-vddc" : "1.1",
"api-port" : "4028",
"expiry" : "120",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"gpu-platform" : "0",
"gpu-threads" : "4",
"gpu-engine" : "880",
"gpu-memclock" : "1350",
"gpu-fan" : "100",
"no-pool-disable" : true,
"no-submit-stale" : true,
"queue" : "1",
"scan-time" : "30",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"shares" : "0",
"kernel" : "x11mod",
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"

This is what I use on an old mining rig with 2x 6950's and a 6970. Maybe use 4000~6400 for the tc instead and play around with the core/mem clocks a bit.
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [FCN] Fantomcoin. CN based, anonymous, CPU only. Merged mining with BCN,MRO,QCN. on: May 30, 2014, 03:05:21 PM
How do I MM via Quazar mining pool with FCN? Or is MM only available via solo mining?

AFAIK there are no pools for FCN yet. So the only possibility for now is to solomine QCN with FCN.

Hmm, wish there was one, it would make mining more simplified.

Hi,

I've made new pool for datacoin.

In miner config.txt use:

server ip: 92.222.24.57, port: 6666, as address use your datacoin address.

Web stats are here: http://92.222.24.57:6680/
Pool will send coins to your datacoin address when you mine more than 11 DTC, when they have mature to 100 confirmations. With GPUs that will be faster than you think :-D

Sample miner working:
Work received: height=339420 diff=9.7432844 latency=32ms
GPU 0 found share: 7-ch type 2
GPU 0 found share: 8-ch type 2
Share accepted.
Share accepted.

Use on your own risk! Good luck and have fun!

Marcus.

Does the madMAx xpm work with it? Or does it need a modded version?

I have fixed my HW errors by doing a clean removal of 14.6 drivers and installing 13.12.

Currently hashing at 2.5 MH/s with 1075 core OC.

EDIT: an hour later the system froze. I didn't have this problem before with X11.

14.6 is in beta, 14.4 is more stable.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Going to start mining, but what? on: May 29, 2014, 05:43:44 PM
Thank you.
Some persons who will share such a platform?

i can answer your questions anyway

speed is 2.2 MH/s per gpu for x11 with a little OC

750ti can't mine x13 for the moment

consumption is around 320w mining x11 with 6 x 750ti

jackpotcoin give you  0.025 with a 6 x 750ti rig

wincoin give you 0.015 with 6 x 750ti rig

other x11 will give you at least 0.01

scrypt should be around 450w, but scrypt is dead for gpu so who care...

With the latest x11 ccminer for Nvidia, the 750ti can do 2.8 mh/s...

Is Jackpotcoin really that profitable at the moment?

that version the 2.8MH one, isn't out yet

yeah jackpot give you about 0.025, one rig does 24MH/s there = 150k per day at 15 satoshi = 0.0225 now

Cool, guess I can try that out. How's the power efficiency of it compared to X11 and others?

Anyway here's my 2.7Mh+ conf file for R9 280x:

"intensity" : "16",
"worksize" : "256",
"kernel" : "x13mod",
"thread-concurrency" : "8192",
"vectors" : "1",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"shaders" : "2048",
"temp-cutoff" : "95",
"api-port" : "4028",
"expiry" : "1",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"hotplug" : "5",
"log" : "5",
"no-pool-disable" : true,
"queue" : "0",
"scan-time" : "1",
"shares" : "0",
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"

1220/1800 currently hashing @ 2.71

I get 2.69~2.7 @ 1150/1500 with 0% power tune...
Memclock doesn't seem to add anything indeed... so I've reverted to 1500.
Core does. But there's just so much you can push it...

memclock oc works on algos that benefit from it.

can someone PM me the IP and port number of the XPM pool? plz

Look on page 11

port 8081 is definatelly not the port to connect thru.... anybody know the port number?

Try 162.244.25.26 no port, no fee, use at your own risk

Pool donation addy is AWHqZqmAwPgmjiDnZVHWdD8t4ug2QF6tPi

i want to use extremal pool, i dont trust anonymous or unknown pools

The pool is safe, been using it for a week or so now with no issues...
1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CPU Solo Mining X11 Coins - Advice Needed on: May 29, 2014, 04:22:17 PM
Most profitable coin to mine with cpu is CryptoNight algo, ie. QCN or FCN. Unless you got free power and powerful server type cpu's, then I would suggest whatever is on whatmine.com for a profit calculator.
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Going to start mining, but what? on: May 29, 2014, 04:18:57 PM
ASIC scrypt miner would be ideal. But if you have your heart intent on gpu mining, I would recommend the NVidia GTX 750TI.

Had someone succeeded on running htis mod on older gen Radeons?

I tried on 5850 and 6970
It compiles, runs and  NO accepted shares. Just HW increasing

Previous version, which was giving 2-2.1MH on 290 runs fine on these radeons
Using Cat 14.4 because prev version needed these to increase performance (on 13.12 there was no gain)
Yes, I have a 5850 and 14.4 drivers, x11mod works just fine, just from some default settings and underclock gets me 1.07Mh/s. Accepted and all that.

I think he meant X13mod.

x13mod kernel is a no go at the moment for the VLIW cards, ie. 5xxx/6xxx series....
