1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 31, 2020, 01:34:51 PM
Liverpool is maybe cursed not to win the EPL.
They have so big advantage this season and a postponement happened - a pandemic was only able to stop this team!
Hopefully, EPL and FA will find a solution to end both cups this season.

I think It'll be more phenomenal that Liverpool would be winning the league this year.  It'll be more significant and won't be forgotten too soon as it's around the same time when the world suffered and would eventually conquered a pandemic.

Somebody: When did Liverpool first win the Premier League?
Everybody: The year the world won against a global pandemic.

You see why it's significant now? Even the average Manchester United fan don't know when they won their first or last premier league title.

There's nothing cursed about this. Don't forget that Liverpool have arguably been the best team across all of europe this season.

How are you sure that we are going to win against this pandemic and most importantly during 2020? Grin
I do not say that Liverpool is not one of the best teams across Europe. I am saying that coronavirus raises a barrier to a season that was pretty much done for Liverpool from the beginning of 2020.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 31, 2020, 01:23:34 PM
However, far from all countries, people adhere not only to recommendations but also do not comply with quarantine.

There are many people around the world who believe that covid-19 is a made virus.
Having aid that, they think that their freedom is violated by those measures without any reason so they do not comply to those rules on purpose. They want to be free and not quarantined.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: March 31, 2020, 12:54:49 PM
It is a good strategy to double your bet after losing one.
The oy parameter you have to think of is that you need a lot of capital in order to endure your losses.
Otherwise you will end up being out of money from the many doubles.
1284  Economy / Economics / Re: harmonization of fiat and crypto on: March 31, 2020, 12:37:24 PM
I wonder why people hasn't started to think of acquiring more cryptocurrency now with the Coronavirus outbreak.
The global economy is in high recession and Fiat money is going to lose value.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 31, 2020, 12:32:45 PM
It is obvious that teams will not be making as much money as they used to make because of this corona situation, we are talking about billions of dollars of revenue lost and penalty paid from all the teams total, that means those billions of dollars that would instead be used for football will now not be used for it and that causes the teams finances to be screwed a bit.

It means they will not be able to spend as much money as they normally would on players, which causes players to cost a lot less when they are sold. Of course, some players are not for sale at all, but any team who wants to sell their players will have to do it a lot cheaper since they will not be able to find a buyer that has a ton of cash for the player, all of them are in big debts now.

The global economy is also hit by the coronavirus.
The football industry cannot be untouched from this situation. But there are a lot of money in the market that all teams are going to recover faster than other industries due to the fact that a lot of people support it.
1286  Other / Politics & Society / Re: In third world China, men death rate outpace everyone else. on: March 30, 2020, 06:31:15 PM
Statistically speaking, the Coronavirus is hitting more men than women.
It is not something that happens specifically in China but all around the world.
1287  Other / Politics & Society / Re: This is how the corona virus spreading rapidly on: March 30, 2020, 06:27:26 PM
This is the latest data of "corona virus". This is how the virus are spreading rapidly. The data start in JAN. 22. 2020

As of Feb. 29, 2020 there is a total of 86, 604 confirm cases. Yesterday as of March 25, 2020 the total confirm cases are 471,035. The gap between this days are 26 days only so this is how the virus spreading rapidly. Can we imagine if another 26 days again then we x2 those 471,035 cases or x3 because of the rapidly spreading. So if the people aren't understand in this situation the more infected the more virus are spread and the more people will die.

I posted this topic so that everyone of us are aware in this kind of situation, because we are not ready in this scenario. And it's better to do a self quarantine and social distancing for the sake of our safety. Keepsafe everyone
Possibly after one month from now, the number will be tripled.
The virus has visited more countries in the world and some of the ones with the biggest populations and it is still on the early stages of infecting the citizens.
1288  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corona self-awareness on: March 30, 2020, 06:21:16 PM
In my country it is very difficult to do the test in order to get diagnosed.
It costs around 300 euros for doing it and it is not so cheap. So it is a good way to have other alternatives in order to understand if you are infected or not, so as to protect yourself and the people around you.
1289  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are you doing at quarantine? on: March 30, 2020, 06:17:21 PM
You know, during the quarantine, I became a superhuman. I know how to do everything in my house. But the ideas to make myself fun are starting to end.
Share who's doing what's interesting at this difficult time.

The best way to spend your time at home is to download an online a course about a skill that you are interested in it and start spending time mastering it.
This way you don't "waste" your time doing stupid things but after the quarantine you will be better than your surrounding people as you will be more skilled as you will have learned one more skill.
1290  Other / Off-topic / Re: Weed or cigarettes on: March 30, 2020, 06:11:49 PM
Weed is better to me because it enhances ones brain and makes one thinks outside the box,it makes you do beyond what you imagine you can never do .

Absolutely, neither of the two.
I have tried cigarettes and the taste is awful.
Weed is a so popular those days and I wonder why people smokes weed. What is the benefit of doing this...

1292  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Toilet paper hoarding on: March 30, 2020, 06:08:15 PM
A personal tip if you're having trouble sourcing toilet paper - try the smaller shops. I've noticed a pattern recently - at least in our part of the UK. The main 'big' supermarkets have no toilet roll, the smaller local supermarkets occasionally have some, and the tiny local corner shops (including petrol stations) often (but not always) have some.

Perhaps the hoarders descend on the bigger shops so they can panic-buy a wider range of produce? It's only small-scale local evidence I suppose, but worth trying these smaller shops if you're running low on essentials. Applies to the other 'hot' items these days, too, such as dry pasta.

As for online in the UK, Wilco had some last time I checked, although there's about a week to wait for delivery.

I believe that this problem with the toilet paper existed in the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak.
During the last two weeks i didn't see any problem sourcing toilet paper from markets ( even the big ones).
I am not living in the UK but I think that the same happens all around the world now.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: March 30, 2020, 03:11:53 PM
If Serie A and La Liga have to do something to choose winners and spots for Champions League and Europa league next year, play off tournaments are good. It is not fair to arbitrarily choose winners without such tournaments. It is surely a hard decision but from my opinion, there is no other good choices if all leagues won't manage to continue and finish all matches.

The same will go for other leagues, but for now Italy and Spain are the most affected nations from the pandemic. We will have better picture on Germany and England next two weeks or even four weeks.

I think that all leagues are going to establish a play off round.
This might be a small league with the best 5 -6 teams in the league that would challenge for the top 5-6 ranking and get a position in the european competitions and cups.
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 30, 2020, 02:38:30 PM
According to CIES the vale of players has been decreased (so far) by 28%.

I really think FPP will be removed for this and next year.

What is the reason of this value decrease?
I don't think that the postponement of the leagues around the world and the European competition should be blamed for that.
This break doesn't make the players less valuable considering the fact that they do not play football during this period.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does good side of gambling overcomes its negative side? on: March 30, 2020, 02:34:51 PM
Gambling affects us through positive and negative. I know there are so many gamblers that are really used in gambling on which they have already experience many things while gambling and for sure they have experienced good sides and bad sides of gambling.

I just want to list down all the positive and negative things of gambling:
Positive:
1. Gambling will let you think analytically and logically.
2. Boost your decision making.
3. It will let you interact with other people which is good for socializing.
4. Gives you happiness and entertainment
5. It can be a source of income.

Negative:
1. It will make you unproductive in other things.
2. It may destroy your life if you get so addicted on it.
3. It will lessen your time spending on your family.
4. You may lose your money.
5. Some says that it will lessen your reputation.

It made me realize, do positive things will let you stay from gambling?

If you remove the positive thing No. 5 all other 4 can be found in other ways of spending your leisure time.
I don't think that there is any positive thing that stems from gambling.
The only thing that you can feel while gambling are only the negative aspects of it.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 30, 2020, 01:38:54 PM
Almost all the sports have been postponed. There is no matches left for betting on sports. What are gamblers(sports) doing exactly now? I know it is very boring days. Locked down in home, no matches to gamble. Are you switching to other casino?

There are still sports that aren't closed and postponed like dota in a particular gambling site. Aside from that, there are tons of casino games that we can play with while other sports games were postponed. We can still think of other games to kill the boredom. Actually, I am trying other games like video poker and plinko. I am exploring those casino games that I haven't play before.

Or, why not play cards at home with your family?  So much idea not to be bored while this home quarantine is on going.

Many people cannot understand esports.
If you are not an video gamer then it is very hard to be familiar with the terminology and the overpowered characters of the games lets say. Having said that they cannot risk their money on something they do not understand.
1297  Other / Off-topic / Re: When was the last time you checked your ETH Wallet on: March 28, 2020, 10:01:26 AM
Honestly, i use to be a big fan of cryptocurrency and a partaker in Bounties and Airdrops. this lead to the habit of checking my wallet daily for airdrops that has paid and bounties too.
the recent scams and poor projects littering the cryptospace refusing to pay hunters and affected that habit. for months, i have checked and Nothing has dropped.
seriously, I am loosing the habit. i can go two weeks without checking my wallet.

I must say that since this year, i have not received more than 3 tokens in my wallet  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
What is the essence of checking. Nothing is there. No need.

I rarely check my wallet now.
The value of my holdings has been dropped significantly all those months. And my funds do not come from bounties and airdrops. They are pure ETH.
I only check my wallet when I see any significant upward trend of ETH in the market. Still I know that I have a negative ROI till I reach high levels of prices.
1298  Other / Off-topic / Re: Leave your comment on: March 28, 2020, 09:58:54 AM
In this situation, the pressure on digital currency is highly increasing. People avoiding cash currency.
What do you think?

The situation we are living right now also puts pressure on digital currencies.
People try to withdraw as much cash as they want in order to be able to have high liquidation levels. Having said that, they also abandon their crypto positions in order to get cash.

Those times that I am staying at home, i have started learning Python in Udemy.
I am not an expert in the field but I think that this course on Udemy is pretty helpful for those who do not know anything regarding python or programming at all.

1300  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anyone purchased Aliexpress laptops? on: March 28, 2020, 08:43:16 AM
I am a fan of Chinese eshops and products and especially Xiaomi is my favorite brand.
I have never purchased a laptop from Aliexpress. I think that Aliexpress is not the best merchandiser. I prefer making order in Banggood as I think that they deliver faster. The Xiaomi 2019 Gaming Laptop Windows 10 OS Intel Core I7 - 9750H Hexa Core 16GB RAM 512GB SSD  has taken good reviews as I can see so I think that it will fully cover your needs.
