1301  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: August 07, 2017, 12:33:31 PM
Yes, global warming has long become a reality and the temperature is rising every year. People themselves are to blame for bringing the planet to such a state.

Yes... global warming is caused purely due to the human actions, especially those during the last 50 years. A suggest a blanket ban on coal-powered thermal power-plants, as a first step to save this planet.
1302  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: August 07, 2017, 12:32:09 PM
I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.

I’m against the death penalty not because of sympathy for criminals, but because it doesn't reduce crime, costs taxpayers much more than life sentences, is more emotionally draining for the families of victims than life in prison without parole. and, worst of all, risks executions of innocent people.

The death sentences cost much more than life imprisonments, because the criminals are allowed to appeal an infinite number of times. Also, the death sentences are delayed by 20 or even 30 years in most cases.
1303  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: August 06, 2017, 12:41:19 PM
Why not both? It’s true that bitcoin has more advantages than gold. It’s more secured and transparent. Its value will continue to rise as is the demand for it. But we should not also cast aside gold just yet. Gold has persisted for many years as a store of value for a reason. Gold has proven that it can stand the test of time, that it is durable and will endure more years to come. I think it will continue to persist for at least another generation or two.

Unless you are already uber-rich, I would suggest you to purchase Bitcoin. Gold is very effective for preserving your wealth. But it is not really good for increasing your net worth.
1304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: August 06, 2017, 12:39:17 PM
Me either just like what I said, I'm expecting that it be longer but it's truly fast. The increase was happening very fast and I'm pretty sure that we will see the price of bitcoin at a very high price. And not just $4,000, I think that the speculations published on news btc websites are helping too, some says that it can go high, $10,000.

There seems to be strong resistance at $3,200 levels. This might be due to the seizure of BTC-e. We still don't know how much the users lost, but I assume  that the losses may be upwards of BTC100,000. BTC-e was one of the oldest exchanges around, and a lot of the Bitcoin millionaires were using that exchange.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scamcoin Quark is back on: August 06, 2017, 12:34:47 PM
I had purchased Quark worth BTC0.10 in 2014. Lost almost the entire investment, after the coins became almost worthless. Sold all my coins in Vircurex, at almost 95% loss. These guys should not be allowed to cheat the users again.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FINALLY SOLD MY BITCOIN CASH! STEP BY STEP GUIDE on: August 06, 2017, 12:32:24 PM
Is that true ,coinbase support bcash?

No. And they have no plans to add support for Bitcoin Cash. A few of the guys have announced that they are going to sue Coinbase for their refusal to support Bitcoin Cash. I agree with them. Coinbase should either provide the private keys to the users, or they should credit the BCH to the user accounts.
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinCash is dead on: August 06, 2017, 12:29:32 PM
Bitcoin Cash in not dead in fact it surpass etherium in just few days after it lunch. It has huge market value now and become 2nd top crypto-currencies now.

Nope. At no point of time the BCH market cap surpassed that of ETH. But to their credit, they had over-took the XRP market cap for a short-while. And don't under-estimate their performance. Any altcoin listing at a market cap of close to $10 billion in the initial day is a great achievement.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get BCH free on: August 06, 2017, 12:27:18 PM
not so, BCH/BCC is just a copy of Bitcoin, they won't develop far furture, until the depletion of mined

Most of the altcoins are just poor replicas of the original (Bitcoin). But the difference with Bitcoin Cash is that they even cloned the blockchain of Bitcoin. But nothing is certain in the field of crypto-currency. No one knows how far the BCH will go in the future. I would even claim that there is a very small chance of the BCH replacing BTC as the top crypto-coin in the future.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of Bitcoin Cash vs Bitcoin? on: August 06, 2017, 12:25:02 PM
I do not know, but if BTC solves the problem of transaction confirmation, I still prefer BTC, BCC can not replace BTC at this time

The 2 MB block size will not resolve the issue with transaction confirmation for ever. After a few months, users will find that even the increased block size is not enough. Then another round of FUD will start, and the talks of chain split will once again gather momentum.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen during a global recession? on: August 06, 2017, 12:22:36 PM
Was there any hyperinflation during the recession of 2007-08? I didn't noticed any, and as far as I know, the United States Dollar held its value and purchasing power. If a recession happens in the future, then I am afraid that the crypto prices are going to drop, as the investors will be having less money available with them to invest in cryptos.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Not Use Electron Cash! on: August 06, 2017, 12:18:45 PM
I successfully used Electron Cash to get my Bitcoin Cash.
You just need to manually select server and it will work fine.

For some, it worked well. But others had bad experience with this software. I had installed Electron Cash on my desktop a few days back. But I got suspicious and I uninstalled it immediately. I would rather wait until Blockchain.info provides BCH claiming services.
1312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: False Confirmed Transaction on my bitcoin wallet on: August 06, 2017, 12:14:07 PM
Hey what happened in the end? Did this guy managed to move the remaining coins out of the wallet to some place more secure, or did he lost them all? I noticed that he was active even after GreenBits posted his message.
1313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Seed Phrase BIP 44 Ledger Nano S 24 Words and one Word are away . on: August 06, 2017, 12:12:18 PM
I don't think that there is any easy solution for this, other than to contact the Ledger Wallet guys and see whether they can help. If that doesn't work, then you can try the Services section here and hire someone who can hack the wallet. But I have to warn you that the hacking services doesn't come cheap. It is going to cost you anywhere from $100 to $500.
1314  Other / Politics & Society / Re: who is the best president and leader this generation? on: August 06, 2017, 12:06:57 PM
In terms of leadership ability, it has to be Vladimir Putin. No one else even comes close to him. And also it has to be remembered that he has been in power for almost two decades now, and his popularity has never declined below the 60% mark.
1315  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Armenia and Moscow - Tehran axis on: August 06, 2017, 12:00:10 PM
I still don't understand why Iran ( a theocratic Muslim country) is supporting Armenia (which happens to be a religious Christian country), against Azerbaijan (another religious Muslim nation). Is there any particular reason?
1316  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Thanks to the uk press to report all migrants crimes on: August 06, 2017, 11:58:17 AM
Just the usual daily occurrences in the United Kingdom. In Rotherham, the Pakistanis raped an estimated 4,000 girls (most of them under the age of 15) for more than a decade, and the media covered the story only when the accused were sentenced to prison terms.
The West is too liberal. Muslim migrants are wild people. They understand only the language of force. If the Western governments of that time did not understand these natives are able to breed and capture our territories. They should all be deported.

It has now reached a point of no return. Muslims are close to 10% of the population in most of the western nations. Antagonizing them can cause electoral defeats for the political parties. So they are forced to support the unjust demands from the Muslims.
1317  Other / Politics & Society / Re: China Builds New Military Facilities in South China Sea on: August 06, 2017, 11:56:04 AM
It's really threatening not only in my country, the Philippines but also the other claimants of disputed islands in SCS. China is aggresive and a bully to other countries, they can't respect the countries who are also claming the islands.
Their 9 dash line is a fvcking bs though.

I think that the only solution is for all the other countries to unite (including Japan, India and Taiwan), and to defend their territories from the Chinese aggression. Now it seems like China may attack the Indian forces in the Doklam plateau in Bhutan. In that case, all the other nations must send their troops to Doklam, to support the Indians.
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wich cryptocurrency is the most promising? on: August 05, 2017, 10:36:23 AM
For me, the most promising cryptocurrency is bitcoin but if you want another cryptocurrency other than bitcoin, I may suggest ethereum. Ethereum is an altcoin which is one of the rival of bitcoin. Compared to bitcoin, an ethereum has a lower value but it is easy to earn than bitcoin. An ethereum is used by many application developer to pay their transaction fees so you can assure that you are safe and profitable.

Ethereum has lost almost 50% of its value, ever since the peak price of BTC0.15 per token was achieved a month back. And my guess is that ETH will be replaced by BCH as the no.2 crypto-currency (in terms of market capitalization) in the long-term.
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why BCC Wil Replace BTC on: August 05, 2017, 10:34:07 AM
Bcc wont ever replace btc ofcourse)Sounds like someone smokes weed too much.

Of course BCC was not replace the position of bitcoin. Because BCC is only a altcoins while bitcoin is the king of cryto currency. Moreover BCC have lack of potential to surpass the bitcoin in the market. In addition both credibility and ability of bitcoin was not steal by BCC.

Nothing can be certain in the world of crypto-currency. And don't read much in to the previous 2-3 days exchange rates. Do you remember how Bitcoin rebounded after declining to $200 from $1,230? The same can happen with BCH as well.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you dumped your BCC yet? on: August 05, 2017, 10:32:31 AM
Dumped them yesterday @ 310$

 Grin

Good for you. Now the prices are around $240 per coin, and is going down even more. For my part, I haven't even claimed my coins. I will claim them next month, but I am still undecided about what to do with them. Most probably I will hold them, for at least one year.
