1301  Other / Politics & Society / Re: “Save a Life–Surrender Your Knife” Program on: June 30, 2015, 10:32:41 AM
Their next marketing campaign will be "Become a survivor, give up your screw driver!".

...once I've been questioned by security guards about my screw drivers... eventually the local IT guys explained to them that I'm going to be unable to install some much needed networking gear into their rack without a screw driver.

I'm just wondering when I have to surrender my shoe laces, ties, belts and network cables  as these are all suitable to kill someone... not to mention my car... Smiley

Simple 86% premined LTC clone with ICO and some limited services. Apart from the name nothing new. I don't think it will reach too far after some P&D. This topic is about the "P" part of the P&D, I guess Smiley.
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dump-Proof Coin? on: June 26, 2015, 12:08:41 PM
I'm affraid there are no such coin. There are some attempts to limit the impact of P&D on the coin value, like price control mechanism planned for eMunie, but that's still in beta as far as I know.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need more Marxism and less Libertarianism in crypto on: June 25, 2015, 12:41:00 PM
Why don't you start OP by giving the community the private keys to your BTC wallet?

Commies not used to give anything what belongs to them to the community Smiley. They used to take yours and give it to their supporters.
1305  Other / Politics & Society / Re: HuffPo Writer Refusing To Have Children So She Doesn’t Spread White Privilege on: June 23, 2015, 03:59:05 PM
Good decision. She's ugly, stupid and brainwashed, so removing herself from the human gene pool will be definitely an improvement.
1306  Other / Politics & Society / Re: political parties pay for fake supporters on: June 23, 2015, 01:26:15 PM

Well, they all promised to boost UK economy and as you can see they did that indeed. Perhaps a bit different way then we expected, but they did it Smiley.
1307  Other / Politics & Society / Re: interracial crime in the usa, putting charleston in context on: June 23, 2015, 01:00:07 PM
I call for a love war!  Cheesy

There is not going to be a race war. Only old people and hillbillies are so deluded to think that. In fact the nation becomes browner each day and in twenty years no one will be black or white anyway. It will be beautiful.

Yes, that will be beautiful indeed. No racial identity, no cultural roots, no nationality, no loyalty to wider groups. The ideal consumer and workforce who's doing what told to do by the latest and most fashionable opinion makers.

"Yeah, it's got electrolytes."
1308  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Opinions on Nanodegrees? on: June 23, 2015, 11:21:42 AM
In computing actually you can already see the result of the specialized knowledge. Some "experts" can click through an install or write a nice program, but they have no idea e.g. about the networking a security implications. They wasn't trained for that. As a result they are unable to see how the whole lot of computers, networking gear and applications are working together as a system. So I think these nanodegrees are only good for a complementary training for skilled professionals or for training a lot of semi-skilled workers relative quickly.
1309  Other / Politics & Society / Re: interracial crime in the usa, putting charleston in context on: June 22, 2015, 02:21:48 PM
Stop treating them like a different kind, that's the first step. The second step must be to realize the solution than the blame. Implement authoritive changes, councelling, helping centers, better education and more aggression to be let out on sports. It all starts at school. Education institutes change people and damn some people really need education so let's try to provide education than statements saying omg what now?

As I see black people in the US have the same role as the gypsies here in Europe. In the last 400 years many governments with many ideology tried to do exactly what you said for integrating gypsies. They never ever succeeded. There were many individual gypsies who integrated but en-mass it's just not working.
1310  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We cannot destroy Isis. We will have to learn to live with it. on: June 22, 2015, 02:14:21 PM
It's still possible to destroy ISIS. But as I see no one have the commitment, ruthlessness and the stomach to make the necessary actions.
1311  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sex behind bars. Conjugal Visits. Good or Bad? on: June 19, 2015, 12:38:02 PM
Conjugal visits are not just about sex. In fact, they are officially called “family visits,” and kids are allowed to stay overnight, too. In Connecticut, a spouse or partner can’t come alone: the child of the inmate must be present. In Washington, two related inmates at the same facility, such as siblings or a father and son, are allowed to arrange a joint visit with family members from the outside. Only about a third of extended visits in the state take place between spouses alone.

If I'd want to be cynical I'd say in many cases the children of inmates going to be inmates themselves too in a few years, so it's beneficial if they get used to the jail quite early.
1312  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sex behind bars. Conjugal Visits. Good or Bad? on: June 19, 2015, 12:20:34 PM
Emotionally I'd say no. There should be blood, tears, mouldy bread and water only, hard labour and suffering. If they raping each other that's part of their punishment. Logically I'd say yes, as theoretically they are there for improving their moral state, and raping or getting raped not good for that.
1313  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: June 19, 2015, 11:01:31 AM
I see gun control as disarming the law obeying people (and keep the criminals armed, as they don't care about gun control), for eliminating the ability of citizens to resist/challenge the state/tyranny.
1314  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women Who Call Out God's Name During Intercourse Should Be Jailed on: June 18, 2015, 03:44:06 PM
Well.. at least for John Hagee, this is the no.1 issue being faced by the United States right now. You should remember that John Hagee is the same person, whom Rabbi Eric Yoffie criticized as an extremist, for his rabid hatred for Muslims and Catholics. And John Hagee is the same person who described Adolph Hitler as the spiritual leader of the Roman Catholic church.

Such miserable fools sometimes have to say/do something really stupid just for staying in the spotlight, and keep getting donations, I guess.
1315  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women Who Call Out God's Name During Intercourse Should Be Jailed on: June 18, 2015, 01:38:28 PM
Good. Everything is fine all across the world and some foul-mouthed woman are our biggest problems in these days Smiley. This guy have too much spare time, I guess.
1316  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Informant to MH17 going to talk , videos from MH17 downing appear to be availab on: June 18, 2015, 01:31:55 PM
If there would be any information what would point towards Russian (direct or proxy) involvement the whole western media would be full with his findings and Obama would talking all day about his dreaded red lines and so on.
1317  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Illegal Migrant Crisis in Mediterraean on: June 18, 2015, 12:04:08 PM
As I see the guys in Hungary going to build a new iron curtain (4 meter high fence) on the Serbian border for keeping them off the country. For some reason the EU and the UN complaining because of these "inhumane" plans.
1318  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Doomsday Bunker For Billionaires on: June 16, 2015, 08:33:56 AM
Somehow it seems to me that these bunkers are pretty useless. How they going to generate power and for how long? The amount of unnecessary lights is huge. Water, food, and other stuff? Even if they make in time to get to the shelter, how long are they going to live inside those vaults?

They said there are one year worth of stuff in the bunker, water treatment system, independent power generation, etc. In the case of emergency, I guess they would turn off all of the unnecessary stuff to save fuel and energy. Perhaps in the case of really deep shit, the military going to seize the whole place...
1319  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Doomsday Bunker For Billionaires on: June 16, 2015, 08:20:44 AM
LOL, nice one. I would settle there. But I think these shelters will be useless if a real global nuclear strike will happen. You just cannot get there in time.

In the case of SHTF that bunker in Rothenstein probably going to be half empty. That's in the middle of the nowhere and it could take several hours to get there from the big cities. It could be good in the case of a pandemic, a violent unrest or if the Yellowstone super volcano erupts but not good at all if you don't have a day to prepare before disaster. BTW revealing the location wasn't a good idea.
1320  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Fast Track (TTIP) Isn’t Free Trade on: June 16, 2015, 07:39:22 AM
How is it at the expense of our health and the remnants of our freedom?

In the US the People have the power, although I know a cynical few will call me out for that. The problem is that many people in the US ignore their power, they don't vote, they don't care, then they bitch about the reality of government. If you feel your freedom is being infringed, speak up about it to the lawmakers.

The other thing I find interest is people think corporations are dictatorships. What computer do you use to access this forum? Did the corporation that created the computer require you to use? Did you not have a choice? Life can be lived without supporting corporations, the problem is when people cry about corporate endeavors while at the same time using their products.

Let's talk about it, what's been your experience with "corporate dictatorship"?

In the States the food safety standards are much inferior to the EU standards. However if corporations can sue our national govts they can easily overrule all of our local standards and can flood the market with cheap gmo, antibiotics, pesticide and hormone contaminated foods. If they can do this then most our local farmers will not have other options then implementing the same practices for staying on the market. (Same thing applies to medicines.)

If corporations providing products and services what I found suitable for me that's fine. But when corporations can force their decisions on me, even if I don't want that, that's a big problem.

In my native country we experienced some forms of corporate dictatorship. E.g. when foreign utility providers overbought our old providers and forced through a bill in the parliament what gave them the powers to disconnect non/late paying customers at any time. On the first winter more than two thousand ppl died because of this and no one held accountable. Other example when some big banks successfully lobbied and got the right to modify contracts one sidedly. Both of these things happened in the early stages of the recent credit crunch.
