321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Shit coin like ADN ,else will 2x10x double your profit ..open discussion on: March 25, 2016, 11:06:23 PM
Forget about trollbox and watch the order books instead. On Polo there are even warnings about "advice" what you can get in trollbox. Rule of thumb: when those guys are talking about pump and buybuybuy they are already silently piled up a lot from that coin on lower prices and started the moving the price up. So, they need buyers to dump.

1. those dead coins are not dead until there are volume, and Polo only interested in volume and trading fees. Until they can get enough fees they let that coin on the exchange.

2. Trading shitcoins is fine if you know what are you doing.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: March 24, 2016, 04:43:21 PM
Everything can be used for illegal transactions. Probably USD in the form of cash is still the most used tool for illegal activities. I guess EUR is the second.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is better day trading BTC or altcoins? on: March 24, 2016, 04:04:53 PM
Hello all. I have a personal stash of around 70btc.

What is better risk/reward wise, trading btc itself, or investing and trading in alts.

I ask this because i'm a noob trader and missed the recent ETH price surge.

Trading BTC on some big established exchanges is less risky, however the profit is also less lucrative. If you go for alts then use some bigger and more trusted exchanges like Poloniex or Bittrex. But as we recently seen in the case of Cryptsy even using the biggest and oldest exchange isn't a warranty against unexpected losses.
324  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Dapp Marketplace on: March 24, 2016, 03:51:57 PM
I think this is a very good idea. Soon we will have a host of "second generation" coins with dapps all around, so it would be nice to have a marketplace where we can see the details and compatibility of a dapps in a orderly way.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lisk could be a big disappointment... on: March 24, 2016, 10:44:33 AM
Depends on how many developers and adventurous companies they can successfully approach. Alternatively if they can hit mayor Chinese exchanges then they don't need any adoption, but everybody will be happy with the exchange rates Smiley.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ANY coin even Attempting Mass Adoption, Seriously!!!! on: March 24, 2016, 10:41:19 AM
Not really. Everybody talking about how to achieve mass adoption, but nobody doing anything meaningful. Perhaps DOGE was the most widely used coin but because of the lack of real word services it's stagnating. Neucoin is trying to do something to be adopted as a widespread micro transaction coin but I don't see too much success on that yet.
327  Other / Off-topic / Re: How I quit my smartphone addiction and really started living on: March 24, 2016, 09:44:26 AM
Some discipline can help I guess. Also there are many features on modern phones to cut off the annoying calls/texts/whatever. But shunning an otherwise useful tool because of the lack of self control and discipline... I dunno that make no sense.
328  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Spirituality may be tied to easier cancer course on: March 24, 2016, 09:18:38 AM
I think true religion is just ancient cheat codes to health.

Indeed if you read the Bible or the quran you'll find a bunch of good health advice. Some of those are outdated in these days, others are outdated in the more advanced countries but still valid on other parts of the world (like banning pork or eel) but some of those are are still valid like at least one day every week sitting down, resting and relaxing.
329  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obama, in Argentina, Says Defeating ISIS Is His Top Priority on: March 24, 2016, 08:56:56 AM
President Obama said Wednesday that he will continue to “aggressively” go after the Islamic State militant group after terrorist attacks in Belgium on Tuesday that he described as “senseless, vicious violence.”

Again? He already went "aggressively" after ISIS a couple of times, but for some reason those were the heydays of ISIS. Finally the Russians had to go there to push back those savages.
330  Other / Politics & Society / Re: people care for Brussels more than Ankara ! on: March 23, 2016, 10:47:16 PM
Turkey has never supported terror sob!
Fuck your fake evidences

Turkey passively supported and let all sorts of scum getting to Syria in hopes strengthening the so called moderate opposition. Turkish businesses have made a lucrative profit on buying oil and stolen historic artefacts from ISIS. Turkey also did everything to hinder the self defence efforts of the kurds in Syria and Iraq.
I guess Erdogan thought he can use and control ISIS as an expendable tool for achieving his geopolitical and religious goals but now that plan backfired.
331  Other / Politics & Society / Re: people care for Brussels more than Ankara ! on: March 23, 2016, 10:05:56 PM
You know Brussels is just a few hours driving or less than an hour by plane from me, while Turkey is pretty far. Naturally I'm more interested in what happening in the next country than in what happening 4000 km away. Also I know a couple of people in Brussels but I don't know anyone in Ankara. Simple enough. Isn't it?
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 300 pages of Lisk Augur Question on: March 23, 2016, 04:45:48 PM
I'm always trying to think positively, but we've seen coins with 4-600 pages of discussion about "shouldn't we do something", so the sheer quantity not going to touch anyone here Smiley. The monero guys can put together 300 page discussion in a two days, but still no decent GUI client Wink.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital value token and urban farming on: March 23, 2016, 03:40:49 PM
I was looking in my news today and sow this article about digital currency and urban farming

http://digitalcreed.in/?p=3152

I'm relay interesting in Urban farming and I wonder if anyone has more information also i would like to know what you guys think about?

A bit like "here's the nothing, hold it strong". Urban farming is a fashionable thing but I'm not sure if that will be a massive wealth generator in a mainly agricultural country like India. But I'm not an expert on this.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to buy IOTA? on: March 23, 2016, 03:33:28 PM
How do I buy IOTAs?
Does anyone here wants to sell?

Thanks

Take a look at the [IOTA] IOTA Speculation thread on the altcoin marketplace https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1360660.0
. That turned to marketplace from a speculation thread Smiley.

Nice, thanks.

Do you have the link to the official ANN as well?
Can't seem to find it.

There you go: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1216479.0

336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lisk will fall like a rock! on: March 23, 2016, 03:18:25 PM

Do you really see lisk getting real world use

No, but I still bought in during ICO.

And most of my BTC is invested in other alts, 100% of which I don't see having any real-world value...

...besides making money  Smiley

That's what the altcoin game is all about, sadly.  Buying and selling with a profit (hopefully)

Bitcoin is the only crypto that actually has gained enough wide-spread attention that it can be used to buy and sell in the real world (sure, other alts can, but not as many retailers accept them).

Even ETH has all these projects, but where are the tangible results?

Perhaps you wanted to answer to BlackWidow Smiley. But, well I'm telling the same just about 99% of the altcoins. Anyway we are still in an early phase of a long way to go and Rome wasn't built in a day.
337  Economy / Speculation / Re: With the halving coming... on: March 23, 2016, 03:00:00 PM
Without a great increase of real world demand for bitcoin, $1700 would be a short living bubble so I'd sell and buy back after it settled on a lower rate.
338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Getting closer to Halving but .. no increase ? on: March 23, 2016, 02:54:55 PM
Is it normal ? I wasn't here when the old halving block rewards happened before so I'm not sure how things work exactly but logically ... should we see a price increase (at least little bit) since we are getting closer and closer ?

Last time around the halving the price slowly went from $5 (2012 summer) to $12-13 (2012 dec.) but that was lower than the then ATH (~$24). After the halving it kept climbing slowly for months. The latest LTC halving was a slightly different pattern: from <$2 it went to >$8 then back to $2 finally stabilized above $3.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptsy down again? on: March 23, 2016, 01:18:58 PM
Anyone having issues logging in?

No, it looks fine for me, unfortunately I can see only the same stuff as a few days ago Smiley. I know stupid question, but have you tried clearing your browser cache?
340  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Attack On Brussle on: March 23, 2016, 01:07:14 PM
When terror hits Turkey, they are freedom fighters and they fight for their land. When hits west, muslims did and all muslims are terrorists.
Fuck your double standarts!

When you guys killing each other at home over land and wealth that's not our concern. We feel sorry for the victims but that's all. However when you guys come here into our homes and keep killing our people, that's pretty much an issue for all of us over here. This isn't about double standards. This is about your issues vs our issues.
