1321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: March 29, 2023, 01:23:50 AM
Qatar had many problems before the world cup, they had lack of stadiums and they didn't have enough workers in their country to build stadiums for the world cup while all they had was money and nothing else, and that is why they had to spend lots of money to hire workers from other countries and build stadiums for the world cup which was a bad experience, but this time we know in USA and Canada where are enough stadiums and that's why they won't need to spend money for building new stadiums.

Yes, the 16 stadiums that the teams will use during the world cup games are already ready, nothing will need to be built from scratch, just some reforms, improvements and expansions will be necessary.
Why that? Because these three countries actually play football outside the world cup.
Qatar, on the other hand, never had a Football tradition, they should never have hosted a FIFA World Cup, all they have is money to rub on the world and buy whatever they want, including the lives of workers that were lost for there just to satisfy the greed of rich people.

I hope that in the 2026 World Cup, human values will be more valued, above any money the world can buy.
1322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a casino ever run without the government's awareness? on: March 29, 2023, 01:15:31 AM
Is it possible to run a decentralized gambling platform? I know that all popular gambling platforms have no choice but to be transparent to the law to have a steady business running, but with the introduction of CBDC and yes a registered gambling platform has no choice but to accept CBDC too, and I don't trust this centralized currency, I believe CBDC will have the capability to monitor incoming and outgoing funds, so that is what makes me think if it's possible to run a decentralized gambling platform at all.

Yes, it is possible for them to work with a decentralized platform.
However, I challenge anyone to name me 5 decentralized gambling sites that have good gaming options, are reliable and still have an attractive bonus and rewards program.
Does anyone take a risk?

Unfortunately, decentralized gambling platforms decrease every year and it becomes more and more complicated for you to place bets without the governments knowing about it.
The era of privacy with cryptos in general, for any area, is not the same as it was a few years ago and my perception of this is that it will only get worse.
1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone got more than 30,000 Dogecoin from Freedogeco.in on: March 29, 2023, 01:11:05 AM
Hi guys I created this task because I was wondering that wether someone got some more than 10k or even 50k dogecoin in 2018 or even 2017 where dogecoin price was very low and at that time I was getting free money from https://freedogeco.in (Note: This website has been shut down)
And I have gotten almost more than 30k Dogecoin and I hag regret that I sold than on a mere 35 or 40 dollars and after 1 or 2 year I was stunned to see Dogecoin price and I still regret this. I have no idea what have I done. Maybe I should have kept it and maybe that was fate to regret only past. Now I have moved On. So I am hoping for a good future.

Yes!
I created my account here at bitcointalk in 2017 with the initial intention of disclosing a btcspiner.io referal link (which was promptly warned and deleted), after which I got to know some interesting topics and learned how to use the forum correctly.
Anyway, what I want to say is that at that time I was addicted to these faucet sites, and just like freebitco.in, freedogeco.in was also one of my favorites.

In this bitcoin I was later able to withdraw a small fortune in satoshis.
However, at freedogeco.in I had a great disappointment, because after a long time without logging in I had lost my password and also access to the e-mail I used to register... I lost several dogecoins, regretting this fact right at the time when they valued more and more.

Since then, I hate this coin. Tongue
1324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: March 29, 2023, 01:04:45 AM
Today I am reading about skill based slot machines which is very popular among millennials. This is the first time I am reading this in my life as a gambler. All that I have known about slot machines is that the outcome is purely based on luck1 as a result of the Random number Generator (RGN). From what I read, the major difference between this skill based slot machines and the regular/traditional ones we know is that there is a bonus round for the players to2 display their skills which gives them a greater chance of winning. Despite this, the odds are still stacked up against the player.

Slot machines are an excellent source of income for casinos, because most of them (as you said yourself) are programmed to give victory or defeat to the player based only on luck, which as we all know, always favors the house.

A skill-based slot machine is sure to reduce the house's winnings and that's why these slots are rare and when found, they are only limited to a bonus stage.

I would love to play a purely skill based slot machine, I believe some old arcade games that pay out in Bitcoin would be a good start for casinos to start investing

1326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing looses Vs Finding closure: Any difference? on: March 27, 2023, 01:04:16 AM
I really need a clarification on this. Is chasing looses in gambling same as looking for closure because i recently read an article on reddit where the poster said that he will gamble untill he wins just to look for closure. I have been thinking about this for sometime now because closure has the same characteristics with chasing looses which is even when the gambler is loosing he will still be gambling just to recover all his looses.

I would say that the recovery attempt is only valid when you have not yet reached your spending limit.
See well...
If you planned to spend up to $500 on a game... you already spent $200, then you won $800 and then you lost it all, so you still have another $300 to try to make up for it.
I don't see anything wrong with that.

However, if you've already blown your limit when you finally win a lot of money and lose it right away, then it's time to accept your losses and stop playing for a while.

It is written as the best in history for Verstappen, by teenagers who have been watching f1 for 2-3 years. This man may be a good pilot, but he will never reach the level of a Schumi, an Alonso or a Hamilton

I disagree with you.
I'm sure that Verstappen can very well catch up and even pass any driver's mark.
Verstappen is still only 25 years old, so it is possible to say that the Dutch driver should still be on the tracks for at least another 10 years (I believe), and that gives him chances to conquer important records. Not to mention that Vertappen is in a very strong team, which is certainly capable of giving him all the necessary chances to be very competitive and reach his goals.
One of the records he can win is the number of consecutive seasons with at least one victory, because if he wins in F1 this year, he will jump to the top-5 in that regard, reaching eight championships in a row with triumphs. Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton won races 15 years in a row. so Verstappen has another 10 years to conquer the other 7.
Verstappen already has a metric that is better than Scumacher and Hamilton... last year he climbed to the top of the podium 15 times, Germans who won only 13 races.

As I said... Verstappen is a very young driver, he has many races ahead of him and I believe he will certainly become a great F1 legend.

I agree however, when you spoke of Senna.
To this day, I haven't met any F1 driver who was as formidable as he was.
Unfortunately he left us too early, so his feats were stopped early and other riders had "the chance" to overtake them.
1330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual Betting/ Real bet on: March 26, 2023, 12:54:09 AM
My little experience while trying to look compare these two types of bets
I could be right or wrong maybe you can share your own experience to know how it goes.

Last night was trying to bet on live matches (Sports betting) although most of the matches already started running and while some have few minutes to start, after selecting about 10 to 15 matches to place my bet it was a bit difficult due to odds were dropping as well changing so I managed to place the bet and it went successfully.

After few minutes I decide to take a look into vFootball i could also get some winning over there, Surprisingly i was wipe with their manipulation at this point i just have to quick to wait for the previously bet matches to finished running.

Have you experience the manipulations over vFootball betting?
Though i don't know if this thread already created, If yes then ref here i would be happy to locking this thread.

I say with certainty that live betting has much less chance of manipulation than virtual betting.
Sports betting for live games is purely based on the probability that a given team or player has to win or lose that competition.
Your chance of winning or losing depends exclusively on playing for the correct team and bookmakers increase or decrease the reward according to the odds of winning one or another team/player.

Obviously, there are some cases of manipulation that even involve bribing players so that they collaborate by committing fouls, penalties or even favoring the defeat of their own team, but this is something that tends to occur more in second or third base championships.

Encaminhado para fiscalização aduaneira

SAO PAULO - SP

22/03/2023 10:40

- Aprenda à usar o chat-GPT para fazer sua dissertação/sua redação;
- Como resolver um problema de lógica (programação de computadores) usando o chat-gpt para perguntas que não estão gabaritadas na internet;

Estou falando do AI Text Classifier.

Tongue
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2023 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: March 25, 2023, 01:22:52 AM
Do you think Palmeiras has what it takes to win two championships in a row?

This year there will be more Portuguese coaches in the Brazilian teams, who already know Abel Ferreira well. I think this year will be more difficult. Unless really the opponents are really bad.

Yes, sure, Palmeiras is the favorite to win again in my opinion, even if it's hard to win twice in a row.

As I've said before, I wouldn't want to talk about favoritism early, but I confess that I also believe that Palmeiras has a great chance of winning twice in a row for the campaign they've been doing in 2023.

The year has barely started and Palmeiras has already come "motivated" to win titles, the Super Cup they already won by beating Flamengo in the decisive final.
In the State Championship (Paulistão), Palmeiras also had a great campaign, eliminating the three main rivals early on.
Will the Brasileirão be as easy as that too?

I've been checking this Wikipedia page to find out who has won this championship consecutively and I found out that this is much more common than I imagined.... here's a summary of the data:
  • 8 teams have managed to win consecutively: Santos, Palmeiras, Internacional, Flamengo, Corinthians, São Paulo and Cruzeiro;
  • The leader of this ranking is Santos, who has managed to lift the cup for 5 consecutive years; Shocked
  • The last team to achieve this feat was Cruzeiro in the years 2019 and 2020;
  • Palmeiras won consecutively for the last time in 1993 and 1994.

Has Palmeiras's turn come again?
1334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: March 25, 2023, 01:09:49 AM
With how much CBDC's are being developed for use as a legal tender, do you  think there is a future for gambling with CBDC's?

Governments are certainly very interested in this rapid adoption of CBDCs by casinos, it would end tax evasion, give governments much more financial control and greatly increase their revenue.

Traditional casinos could even benefit from greater user adoption, as I believe it would be easier to make financial contributions and withdrawals compared to traditional Fiat currencies.

However, in casinos that already use cryptocurrencies, I don't see how this adoption of CBDCs could help.
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 25, 2023, 01:00:20 AM
When some people ask questions about gambling, such as "Can someone can make a living through gambling? I don't like to engage in such conversations because those who doubt that gambling can change someone's life are usually those who have gambled and failed multiple times or those who don't really know gambling strategies.

I never doubted that gambling could change someone's life, just as I don't doubt that playing the lottery can change someone's life.

What I doubt is that gambling or lottery can change anyone's life, I doubt that gambling can change many people's life, I doubt that gambling can change someone's life just because he wants it so much that.

There will always be a few people making a lot of money from gambling, while there will always be a lot of other people losing a lot of money from gambling.

In the middle of this, there are the people who are prudent, who play with caution in order to become one of the people who will one day win a lot of money, but without deluding themselves so much that they become one of those who will lose a lot of money. .

Which of these people would you rather be?
What would you rather believe?
1336  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: [ANN] Duelbits Brasil on: March 24, 2023, 01:16:20 AM

Wink

Cacildis, mas e o
Code:
?a=
no link?

Enfim, fato esclarecido, tudo certo então Wink

1338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the biggest problem you think AI can fix in gambling on: March 24, 2023, 01:02:03 AM
What else do you think a gambling casino can benefit from using AI technology?

Not only can they benefit, but I'm sure they must already be using it to improve their predictions.
Especially in sports betting, where the outcome of the games is very dependent on numerous factors external to what the casino can control, so the best way to improve your predictions is to analyze all these factors to arrive at the best predicted result.

Other than the cheats you mentioned...
Here in Brazil, I have already seen that they are already starting to use AI to identify unusual bets and thus act in advance in cases of manipulation of games that even involve bribery of players.

AI is going to revolutionize the world and betting is certainly not going to be left out of it.
1339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Casino Sites Cheating Us? on: March 24, 2023, 12:57:02 AM
Most of the time I play Blackjack & Dice.  I have always noticed that when I bet a large amount I am a loser when it comes to Dice.  Also in case of Blackjack when I bet big amount I get wrong card due to which I lose the bet. On the other hand when I bet small amount I win in case of Dice and if I bet small amount multiple times I win multiple times.  In Blackjack, when I bet small amounts, I am always get good cards and win the bets. Thus the cycle continues.  I have noticed that it is not an easy thing to withdraw from having achieved something great. I always gamble for fun with small amounts and lose them but I don't care. But I started playing blackjack yesterday with $1k and noticed that the casino sites are somehow cheating us. I lost my $1k yesterday. through Blackjack. What do you think about casino site algorithms?  Are they cheating with us?

I think you're just unlucky.
I don't know which casinos you're playing at, because you didn't mention it, but if you're going to play at respected casinos with a good reputation, I think it's sooo hard for them to rob you because they run the risk of having their reputation tarnished and losing much more money than if they were going to play legally without robbing players.
Cassionos are highly profitable for website owners, I see no reason for them to rip you off.

Take a test, always betting similar amounts and write down your bets, gains and losses. Gradually increase this value and see if the gain pattern holds.

Important! you need to take a long sampling period as short bets can be very volatile.
1340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 24, 2023, 12:52:27 AM
Maybe it is too early to talk about it but I'm just doing it as I saw it on the news. Real Madrid might be preparing for a huge move for Haaland in 2024 already. It is said that there is a release clause of 240 million euros which can be activated by 2024. As Real Madrid are a very rich team I don't doubt them about paying this amount of money for an amazing player like Haaland.

They don't splurge on a player that easy these days. But Haaland is a completely different case really. He is a pure goal machine and I can't imagine how much stronger Real Madrid would be with him.

I also came across this news today...

Real Madrid, unfortunately, has been having a season far below what is expected by its fans. They are a long way from winning the LaLiga title, which in my opinion should be won by Barcelona.
In the Copa del Rey cup they are also at a great disadvantage.
Also, they are not one of the main candidates to win the Champions League.

They are very bad and they know it, they need to change some things to compete with the best clubs in the world, and they don't lack money.
In fact they are preparing "big moves" for the future and I believe that Haaland is one of those hiring possibilities.

However, that €240m release fee does not come cheap, not even for Real Madrid.
