People more likely have huge gpu farms of Nvidia GTX 750ti's. What's not to like about that gpu: 30~60 watts and hashes at 2.8 mh/s on X11. By far the most profitable gpu and about 4~5 times more efficient than an AMD HD7970/280X.

It seems that the OpenCL kernel for Darkcoin for sgminer has been optimized by a user called girino over at the forum to bring some nice performance improvement in the hashrate when mining X11 crypto coins such as Darkcoin. Do note that you need to use a precompiled miner with no source code and there is a 2% developer fee on the mining (the miner mines at another pool for the developer), but with 40-50% performance increase over the latest sgminer with support for DRK the 2% dev fee is acceptable. We have tested the new x11-sgminer on a Radeon R9 280x and and we are getting a boost from about 2-2.1 MHS to a little over 3.1 MHS with the new miner. The author provides compiled version of the miner for both Windows (download the mingw compiled build) as well as for linux and as already mentioned there is no source code published yet, so you cannot compile it yourself and you nee to download a binary release. - To download the CCminer-KBomba fork with Compute 2.x Support for Windows OS…Why is your link to the miner for Nvidia when your subject title refers to AMD?

Can DRK be mined on Nvidia cards?
yes and it is more efficient at the moment . 60 watt Nvidia GTX 750ti beats out an AMD HD7970/280X and hash at 2.8 mh/s on X11...lol Gah damn!! I just got my 780Ti going and am getting close to 6Mh/s 780ti is powerful, but imagine if it had the Maxwell core technology. That can be like 1.5~2.5 times the hash power on that.

i have looked at it from top to bottom in a hex editor and then loaded in it up with OllyDBG so far. it may take me a bit to crack i have never loaded sgminer or cgminer in Olly before for static analysis.
if he keeps this up it will be cracked and posted though. and people you shouldn't be rewarding this guy this way.. it's just not right :/
and i have seen every comment on here so far and the graph guys are full of shit ! i sure as hell don't see any guy post proof of a speed increase of anywhere near 40%. look some pages back and tell you see graphs or what ever showing a 40% speed increase lol
he also used the crappiest generic compile settings to build it with MingW /02 arch=generic pentiumpro etc etc
You are are a bit late, I already reversed it and extracted the modified OpenCL kernel. Link is on page 10, first post. However, I have not analyzed the executable for any malicious code. Hi, darkcoin.cl completely delete the file, this code will not put you? Class gives error when I do. The kernel I extracted will not work without modifying sgminer to work with it, but at least it's there for people to inspect for the supposed improvements. Gives me an error -46 when I try to just replace the kernel with the one you reverse engineered. The very message you quoted I state it won't work without modifying sgminer. Some of the coding inside needs to get remapped/re-targeted. I'll give a whirl, but it's not my forte, I'm more of a networking technician by trade and skill. Great, from bits and pieces told by girino you'd need to create a kernel handle with clCreateKernel to all the mini-kernels in the OpenCL file, among MANY other things. Yup, you have to target and call to each individual hash types. I'll try...LOL cl_kernel clCreateKernel (cl_program program, const char *kernel_name, cl_int *errcode_ret)

Is that on 10-ch or 11-ch optimization? Both. I will release only 10ch, 11ch release required client code changing. Right on....

Is anyone have it working ok for mining datacoin? Miner still alive, I found some optimizations for sieve, result is: [GPU 0] T=-1C A=-1% E=0 primes=0.100911 fermat=773419/sec cpd=7.32/day [GPU 1] T=-1C A=-1% E=0 primes=0.101163 fermat=796923/sec cpd=7.73/day [GPU 2] T=-1C A=-1% E=0 primes=0.101515 fermat=771987/sec cpd=7.75/day
7,75CPD on Radeon R9 290X, new version will be released in next 12 hours. Is that on 10-ch or 11-ch optimization?

Not stable miner. Crushes, no temp&fan control (Win7+8).. back to Sgh miner.
OP we waiting for sources - peoples can help with temp and fan, in other case - it`s another auto-dev-donator like was on smelter`s quark.
This miner crashes a lot.

Went solo a week ago. 37 blocks, 1 orphaned. Number of found blocks per day fluctuates like crazy. Could be 6 blocks, could be 1. You really need to have some faith.
What's your setup? 3 rigs (9x7970 + 6x7950), primecoind on linux server, claymore miner 9.1 solo. Cool, still profitable with your setup. I only have 2 cards mining XPM at the moment and with another miner at the moment.

Only use shader or tc, not both, it will override with the shader count. I run 1080core/1500mem at 1.1 volts with 20% power tune and get ~750 kh/s.
Do you recommend shaders or thread-concurrency? I'm getting ~660 right now, but I would still like to get into the 700 range. Any other advice? tc I've tried shaders before and it would only do 640~680 for me.

It's back up again and 1 year anniversary of the exchange....
UPDATE: They are still doing maintenance and trading is halt until it's done.

Tried to use a sgminer.conf file and it did not take those settings and acted all weird, it even rebooted the system randomly. Does all the config have to be put inside the bat file?

A login box pops up for me. Guess they are doing some kind of front end maintenance would be my assumption.

Strange that the stats aren't shown on the miner. 40% isn't that much more of an improvement versus the miner for the Nvidia 750ti, that miner is free. Nothing wrong with making something for a little work, but make the intentions more transparent on where/how the fee is implemented.
