That's what I'm trying to do. Did you have a look at those links? Thread concurrency is usually the most important setting to get right (as you could find out by reading the first link). At the time of this writing, the Wiki (second link) lists the following examples for the ATI 7850: --thread-concurrency 8192 --thread-concurrency 27164 --thread-concurrency 16000
You should try those out and see which one works best for you. The objective is to maximize the hash rate while keeping HW errors at 0. Once that's done you can start playing with the intensity parameter. Ill try that once i get to the miner. What would be a good intensity to drop down to for temp to start to get a better reading? I had read the wiki and it still kinda confuse me. tehre are 6- 7850's with different info. Alittle more info that may be helpful Core Clock - 900MHz Stream Processors - 1024 Stream Processors Effective Memory Clock -1200MHz (4.8Gbps) Memory Size - 1GB Memory Interface - 256-bit Memory Type - GDDR5 RAMDAC -400 MHz

The config I am currently running is the config i took from the pools website. I am still only getting around 250Kh
Just to make it clear, the basic configurations available on the website are only intended to get one started. The website also states that fine tuning is necessary to get the best results for a particular system, and kindly asks miners to read this and this. Okay? Who here would be able to help me on this?

Now we just need to get our hands on them.

SSD's have shown to be rock solid for me. Especially the Crucial M4.
As for RAID.... Raid 6 is probably the best for data with being able to lose two drives. But, for the server partition I think that 4 SSD's in RAID 10 is unbeatable. The fastest systems I have even built are all running 4 x SSD in a RAID 10. Data on RAID 5 and the most critical data arrays are RAID 6.
I think RAID5 should be not even a consideration anymore. RAID10 is good if you got hardware able to use it. That is why I had said RAID6. But spot on!

supermicro makes some nice hardware but SSD still has not made me all giggidy in the server world. There lifespan still is not where i want it. Are you kidding me with raid1? Why not raid 6(5+1)? raid5 is too glitchy You sure a single quad core will be able to cut it?

I can't keep up with you guys! I'm at an amazing 4.5 GH/s setup, and only starting to make enough for 2 erupters (push to 5.1 GH). Actually will be 4.1 GH because I will be shutting down my GPU miners (1 GH total).
I don't know how you guys afford to build these monsters!
They got into it early.

Its the only thing that can be done untill mid october. Wish we did know more info but we just dont. So gota sit and wait!

I wonder if i will have to restart my Raspberry pi inorder for it to reconnect to the pooling server. I really hope not. It may not restart. Its at that stage where its working and i dont want to touch it. It may not work anymore if i do.. So did you move DataCenters again or you staying up there? Should of gotten with me at the beginning of this year i have a rack full of server i sold for $1k i had 4 - poweredge 2850, 1 Poweredge 1950, 2 poweredge 2650, and 3 poweredge 6600 i think they were. Holy smokes someone has a 26.83Th monster on the pool..

|
|
Well i got a lot on order... Cant Wait till they come in.
|
|
|
You can take your order number from your My Orders page and paste it into the order tracking search box on the main page to see when your miner is going to ship.
It just says paid... That dont tell me much. Let alone when it will be shipped...

Hey Pooler do you ever plan on giving your website a facelift I currently have no plans to change the website design, and I have actually received a couple emails asking me never to change it. Personally, I like it how it is now: it's no-frills, very lightweight and loads fast. That too is true!

Hey Pooler do you ever plan on giving your website a facelift Just wondering. I know its a pool and not ment to look purdy. (I know that kinda sounds mean on how I am saying it. By no means do i mean it bad.)
