I've gotten "stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted" 2 times in the last hour and cgminer hangs, anyone else having similar problems?

I really don't understand why people still mine at this pool. I've been mining through it for many many days. I had the suspect that many shares where not counted. Then I followed the suggestion to switch to eu.notroll.in and I started to see that shares were not right for a few workers on it while other ones maybe were on the main one. Then I saw that about 25% of my coins there were "stolen". Then, again, finally switching somewhere else (coinotron or litecoinpool or wherever else) started giving me the right results.
Come on guys, I think nicksasa should really at least post something on the website about all this shit. :-(
Why respond to this thread if his pool is still making a lot of coins for him.

I think the only victims of all these get-rich-quick-alt-coins are the idiots that are trading their BTC and LTC for crapcoins.

This, what's going to be next month?? Also, I've never seen an alt coin take off as quickly as FC. Period.
because so many people missed btc and they are now trying to be an early adopter jumping on the lowest diff coin Yes, since they missed the boat by not joining 2 years ago they want to be early adopters of a new coin that will hopefuly make them rich in the future, which is good for them, the only people that lose are the idiots that exchange their BTC or LTC for this crapcoins

As time goes on, it will show what currencies will be successful and what ones will not. I believe only BTC and LTC will survive.
Why LTC? Coz its faster? In that case some new coin which is significantly faster may well usurp it. Because it's the one with the biggest userbase after BTC, and it also complements it having different features...

I'm new to mining (3 days since I got my rig) and I know very little about overclocking. Do you happen to know if it's doable in Linux, and how? Thanks in advance.
I have no idea I'm running windows and use MSI afterburner which is very easy.

Damn ... got 550 on my Gigabyte 7950, running similar cgminer settings as you. I really need to overclock it! I was getting 576 with the same settings before overclock

Just wanted to say that this pool is awesome, been mining for 2.5 days with no issues at all and payments are exactly what calculators say.
|
|
|
I'm done mining here until Nickasa comes forward to share something with us. I wasn't around for the overpayment fiasco - so I ignored all of that. But this I can not ignore if he isn't going to at least come out and tell us what happened - its been way to much time.
What amuses me is how many people are currently still mining there even after all of this.
Nickasa!?!?! Please come help/explain!?!?!
He's gonna come in a day or two rolling his eyes and calling you names. You heard it from me first

What does increasing the fee have to do with stability and features?
So he can have an income and be able to pay more attention to the pool

I left this pool because the same thing happened a few days ago and I lost about 16hrs of hashing power due to "errors crediting all to one user" and VARDIFF issues Seems not quite ready for prime time yet but I applaud the efforts. I'll keep an eye on it for the future. Yup, I think the Admin should just switch to a 2.5% Fee and focus on having it stable instead of adding new features, it was working perfectly at the begining before adding the improvements. If you take into account the downtimes, a 2.5% Fee is equivalent to 0.6hours, so for a regular 24/7 miner a 12 hours downtime on this pool is equivalent to 20 days of 2.5% fees

Price will be at $5-10 in a month if this keeps up, I would keep your chin up. There's still about 30-40 GH/s of miners left to migrate to Litecoin from bitcoin.
If anything, now is a good time to buy.
I wish there was an easy way to convert PPUSD to LTC
