Jeeze, with all this "premine = scam" comments I see, I wonder why we don't get this amount of threads about Ripple, NXT and Mastercoin. Those guys are 100% pre-mined. Shall we call them scam coins too? I'm not saying I'm for or against premine, I'm just saying, all things considered, it would be a very childish thing to outright call a coin, scam, mainly on the premise of its premine.

Sorry, thought I'd also post as it is painful to watch all these scattered ideas and comments on this thread. Will try to throw out a few thoughts/recommendations from my end since I do want to see this currency/virtual coin succeed some more also, well vested in it.
1. It's name, USDe, is a catchy play on the country based USD but fine when you find out it is more of a global name "Unitary Standard" and that is seen as a positive. It needs to remain global, separated from any specific fiat and/or country, but USDe can have a meaning of standing for use by everyone, the "common man", etc. That was a theme for the US and it's "dream" in over time but almost more than any other country the US and its USD has become a laughing joke of currency. 17 trillion debt growing here in the USA, just signed a higher debt ceiling to print more paper money, etc. There will be a failure of USD sometime in the future.
2. I'd like to see more in the order of strong technical excellence around the coin. A solid not so generic website yet a simple easy to understand one. Clean up of its grandiose theme (cryptographic reserve and board of cryptography - come on what the hell are these and no one real is on them so delete it), and focus on that it is a solid script coin, multi-national, etc.
3. This coin has to get on bigger exchanges to survive.
4. This coin has to eventually get some acceptance to survive (primary need for any). It can't just be an investment pool, and it won't survive as simply and investment pool as it won't attract any other big investors with the above lacking, not being straight forward, and the mesh of bickering on this board if anyone does research on here. I wouldn't mine/invest this coin right now again - even though it is #1 on Coinwarz due to low 4.0 difficulty; can mine and dump I guess (if anyone would buy it).
5. Why don't we focus: 1) clean up website, 2) have clear multinational approach for those tired of country's fiats, 3) get on exchanges, 4) work on few projects then to translate/accept USDe and technically improve the currency if possible to make it unique (colored coins, speed, better wallets, etc.).
Throwing out thoughts but I'd say please be constructive or just please get off this forum!

Agree! Been saying this for the last 377 pages So you are saying that this coin is nothing more than hundreds other? Why I would choose this? If I'am tired of countries fiat, I can choose ANY of hundreds bitcoin/litecoin based coins. You didnt bring any unique selling point AT ALL. At this point , this might sound as the painful truth. the truth is, that only unique selling point is the name and I am really sick of explaining to all the people. I didnt realised, when I joined, that I have to explain basics. Why would any "whale" join if there are so much coins to choice? No , there can be other things that make a coin unique , it doesn't have to relay only on the name. If a coin brings something new in matter of security , transactions, etc it could have a lame name but would still succeed. Unfortunately a clone that is just toying with the numbers in the reward block or the block time , has only the name to hang to. |

He would like to adjust it to his world view of what is healthy. And if he could just get the Bitcoin Foundation to work on aspects of the blockchain that Blitz feels like they should pay more attention to, that would be great by Blitz too. If only the entire bitcoin space operated exactly like Blitz thinks it should, then Blitz would be happy and wouldn't be our resident (non) moderating curmudgeon. Is there anyone normal pool that not steals coins and big enough to find/confirm blocks with adequate speed?
Tried pool.dogechain.info and fast-pool.com, but seems they steals >50% of what mined. Or their calculators are wrong.
For example, 1Mh on litecoins now will give 0.359LTC/day - this calculations is adequate. dogechain and fast-pool shows about 9000 doges per each 1Mh. But when direct workers to them after 24h there are only ~3500-4000 doges per 1Mh. Stales % is low.
Any ideas? Is calculators on pool are lying or what? After selling this 3.5-4k doges i will have less btc's than when selling ltc's mined for same period.

Im talking about only DOGE mining there becous they are stable and find blocks regulary. Ive used it since they added DOGE. You don't understand the difference in our opinion because we have different reasons... You're in for an experiment , I'm in for the money. And I see my money pile getting smaller while other piles I did put in some other coins are growing. This is not FUD , it's what i feel it's going down and I don't like it. The coin is losing momentum , and everybody is focusing on the block reward like that is something it matters. I spent enough time telling people over at doge , reward halving won't do anything , nobody believed ... the results ... spot on. Also the amount of people mining , that's only decided by the reward. Let's say gpu mining becomes a waste of time with every coin out there. Will 100000 miners switch their rig to quark for 14 cents/minute? Will that make quark price go up ? no! What will move the coin is.... quarkpayments...that was ...another big lie to pump the coin??? A shrinking community , lots of lost interest , the main promotor (which i don't like anyway) gone to his own coin and so on... This is not fud , those are facts. Oh , the price is not going down.. Well its not going down because people are not selling (including me). I can make a coin with my friends and decide we won't sell below 1$ , is that what makes the coin 1$ worth? =))))) Coins are not carrots to expire , I can hold for another 30 years at least...I hope .. till it will get to 1$ at least. I don't disagree with what you said here. (IT is more than an experiment for me, but point taken.) The momentum point is an interesting one.
