1381  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why are we seen as "early adopters"? on: December 02, 2014, 01:52:57 PM
The early adopters embraced Bitcoin 5-6 years ago.

People adopting it now, are among the last few thousands to ever adopt it.

How come "the last few thousand"? What is your prediction? Crypto gonna fail or another crypto?

Yes exocytosis is a huge troll and very negative about bitcoin. His old account is falllling who always talks about an upcoming bitcoin doomsday

Probably invested in Ripple Wink
1382  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2014: The year of the mining bubble on: December 02, 2014, 10:52:38 AM
Stop trying to destroy this currency even more with retarded faster miners... shame on you guys!  Angry

"Faster" miners doesn't affect the emission schedule
They do. Otherwise Jan 2017 would be the halving but it's July 2016. Six month difference.

The flaw is that the network as it is now is more then strong enough for the protocoll, mining needs to be dialed down if you ask me...

I was thinking. Instead of focusing on the anonymous part of it for the name we could focus on the modular aspect of it. We could rename it to something along the lines of LitecoinFlex because of its flexible design.
Just a suggestion.

I like that name/idea.

A flashy new logo would be good too.

Anonymous and Flexibel Smiley The anonymous part was a big plus, and the modular aspect too, please don't completely change LitecoinDark, the anonymous part is what brought people in, in my opinion that is Grin
1385  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining Signature Campaign! ***CLOSED!**** on: December 02, 2014, 10:39:02 AM
Yeah, customer service isn't great Smiley I still have a conflicting payment from PBmining, one of the first payments, I provided all details in which it's clear the payment is conflicting, yet no solution....

Have to B fully honest though, my contract was activated within 12 hours and they haven't missed a payment, except for a conflicting one Grin

1388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who maintains the post-mining Bitcoin network and why? on: December 01, 2014, 11:44:58 AM
So basically you guys are saying that those with enough money to open an ASIC farm, and those who live in places with very low electricity costs, will be able to make money mining. OK, but doesn't that confirm my point that mining is a useless waste of time and effort for the rest of us?

I am persuaded that the rise of Bitcoin was mostly due to a large network of smalltime users running the full Bitcoin software and generating coins, and I am afraid that there is no incentive anymore.

As far as the other argument is concerned - that once the Bitcoin economy is huge there will be enough of an incentive to maintain the network even if the transactions fee remain low - I think that's plausible, but we must get there first, and how do we get there if the system collapses for lack of individual maintainers?

You're right when you speak about people in it stricly for profit. But the original bitcoiners are in it for the protocol and the decentralization and movement it brings us, so for most people you're right, but for the core community, you're wrong Smiley

Governments and other agencies are putting high priority on 'Dark' targets for surveillance. 'Dark' is like wearing a bright orange shirt that screams "I'm Up To No Good".

Dark tech is the way to go for maintaining any level of personal privacy. Wearing the 'Dark' name is counterproductive. I suggested a name change 6 weeks ago (or close to that) for this exact reason. At the time, the majority were in disagreement. I presented my case, and then laid it to rest. I never brought it up again before now.

'Dark' tech, but drop the 'Dark' label. Also, TOR network users are targeted for high priority surveillance simply due to the way TOR network is perceived by the authorities as a major security risk. Using 'Dark' as a label and using TOR network is pretty much guaranteeing that there is a high probability of BEGGING for the wrong kind of attention from the wrong kind of people.

I'm convinced that goverments and agencies want to suvail everyone in crypto sooner or later, my convincion is that dark is the way to go, looks promising to let the devs of darks work together on dark tech Smiley

All of this is bang on the money for me.

Besides TOR and DARK focused coins attract bad investment people. E.g. the types who will try the P&D game.

If we want to make this a long term successful coin it needs commercial assistance to maintain the price at a reasonable value. TOR and DARK wont do this.

One thing I would like to point out is that if I'm the rich in the elite group then by all means "maintain" the current system already in place so that I can continue to manipulate and get richer and richer. So why do I need a New World Order for? To create equality??? That would mean I'm losing out so why go against the flow that has given me the advantages all these times. And how does that relate to bitcoin existence?Huh I still don't get it.

The new world order is the illusion of equality, yet the masses are just sheep and laborers for the new world order. Slavery was never abolished, yet it was made to include all races --> capitalism --> manipulation to think we want it, yet we're al chasing money, while all the resources are here to construct a world without money and inequality...

1393  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Conspiracy Theory of Bitcoin on: December 01, 2014, 09:07:42 AM
Okay I know this might be a very off-topic subject, but it is related to Bitcoin.

I do not know if you guys know about the conspiracy, "New World Order"

If you do not know what the New World Order is:

As a conspiracy theory, the term New World Order or NWO refers to the emergence of a totalitarian world government.

The common theme in conspiracy theories about a New World Order is that a secretive power elite with a globalist agenda is conspiring to eventually rule the world through an authoritarian world government—which will replace sovereign nation-states—and an all-encompassing propaganda that makes the establishment of the New World Order the culmination of history's progress and an ideology. Significant occurrences in politics and finance are speculated to be orchestrated by an unduly influential cabal that operates through many front organizations. Numerous historical and current events are seen as steps in an ongoing plot to achieve world domination through secret political gatherings and decision-making processes.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rc7i0wCFf8g

Now here is the question:

Is the New World Order happening? Are we all turning into one government? If so, is Bitcoin going to be the currency of the 'New World'? Is Bitcoin a setup into the New World?

Share your opinion!

The new world order has been here since the 80ties man, it's all under control, from 9/11 to the fall of Libia and the mddle east and the third gulf war. It's all been carefully planned, not because of oil, human right, but control over the money supply, look up the petrol dollar and everything will fall into place....

1396  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How to get started with mining on: December 01, 2014, 08:51:21 AM
The best way is by mining at home, decentralization and all. Only due to high electrivity rates, not very profitable. You can also buy hardware and let them be hosted at cheaper electricity costs. The easiest way is to buy some shares through LTCgear, on which you can chose to recieve the payout in BTC, LTC or even more shares Smiley

You see alot of threads selling shares of LTCgear, I advise the asiqshares, cheap and high payouts. PM me for a referral links, that way I get shares for refering you, and i will send half of those shares to you!

Offcourse you can also plunge into PBmining, but no-one knows who they are and they could dissapear fairly easy.

Last but not least, on Badbitcoin.org, you can view if any cloud mining company is a verified scam.

Also follow pumpdumptracker on twitter, al news and pump and dumps via one twitter account. The account is still being build, after it's finished you see all news and can subscripe to all lists, check it out.

Succes!

I wanted to buy these to, very sorry to see all the problems for other buyers, it was a bit expected, since I investigated and this seems to happen a lot to Prisma's, along with the mining bugs, still no-one deserves this... Sad

any news on the partnership with the DOGED dev? Thought he was eager the help?

I heard from the DogeD dev he was eager to help, but didn't get an reply after he messaged his offer to help, maybe he's asking high fees, I don't know Smiley
