I'm a bit hesitant with these mega packs, it's a bit of a big boost in sales and network capacity. Or Chris has a lot of capacity extra that wasn't sold yet or he's planning on upgrading big soon and needs the money for it.
Agreed they are a big difference and could explain some of the network increases lately... Or as you say offloading current stock before moving on to the next. I hope it's not an atempt to sqeeze the last money out of it, we'll see |

It might be a step back but businesses aren't going to implement a whole new payment system for just one currency when swiping a Card is 10 times easier and currently implemented.
Exactly right We are talking about those small sized shops that won't update their systems because they cannot afford them. A plastic bitcoin card would be way to bring bitcoin to them. I think the bitcoin debit card is fully loaded with bitcoin. When going to stores who are not implementing bitcoin payment terminals, you swipe the bitcoin debt card and the card issuers immediately convert the bitcoin from the balance of the card to fiat then debt to the merchants' account. It may be tipping point to get bitcoin adopted by masses. Exactly my thoughts, plastic and paper is real for the masses, not O's and 1's |

For No.1 - I believe all the pre-mine should still be available for use as the white paper clearly says Litecoindark has the only access to it. Unless it was stolen, or did I misunderstand somehow?
No.2 and 3 - Onetyone sounds like our first community volunteer for this. I am not expert on coding etc., but how many more people are we likely to need? If more community volunteers come forward we may not need to invest the pre-mine or our own money to pay for more.

@Bitcoin Operated Boy Not finding fault with your suggestion regarding the current thread. Just want to repost my opinion to contrast yours, in case it has been forgotten in all the recent fuss. I suggest closing the current topic after the change over. Do not delete any of it and keep it for historical purposes. Post a link in the new topic pointing back to the old topic so that it can easily be found and so that it is obvious that we've been busy enough to need TWO TOPICS in under 3 months. Then use the new topic to continue into the future. Your suggestion has just as much merit as mine does. About the forum being closed (locked) down in order to open up the fresh thread.
I have thought about it and I think that keeping this thread open and keeping using it would be better from PR point of view.
We have had hundreds of pages of activity and it looks great and is the prrof of very large and active community. It attracts investors and proves that we are not scamcoin ;-)

I'm also very lucky I didn't lose my cool and held my 100K . But still, especially the big future is unsure, 2nd gen. We'll see how it plays out, alot of communities would have bailed by now. This cn still grow to be very big, let us all make sure that it does!! I also lack computer skills needed 4 crypto, but I wish to donate some time by proof reading, and maybe even translate to Dutch if needed, write me down for that I'm also building an extensive twitter account, allready a lot of exposure, ones it's finished I will promote LTCD among others Furio |
