1382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [KOBO] Kobocoin - A West African peer to peer micropayment system on: March 22, 2015, 09:51:56 PM
Are you fucking joking with this scam.
Are north, South, East Africans included.
What is new about this circle jerk coin.

Do West Africans not use fucking phones.
Do west Africans not have fucking internet access.
Do West Africans need this shit.

Does anyone need this shit.

People tend to swear and shout when they have nothing constructive to say. I believe teppupkcos may be a disillusioned Limp Bizkit fan all alone in Albuquerque.

BITZ has been updated on Coinmarketcap with C-Cex:

1384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BITZ] X11 POW/POS hybrid ** HARD FORK BLOCK 70,000 ** MANDATORY UPDATE ** on: March 22, 2015, 09:26:00 PM
Just a quick update;
I am happy to see that BITZ is being traded at C-Cex and that there has been a volume of around 200,000 BITZ traded for 2.2 BTC. Thats not bad, but it's interesting to note that this is a small fraction of the BITZ in circulation so there are many that are holding and staking (I hope). I have been in contact with Bittrex and need the help of the community to get it listed as soon as possible. Please follow Bittrex on Twitter at @BittrexExchange and promote BITZ there.

You can also consider irc channel #bittrex on irc.freenode.net and do some guerrilla marketing for BITZ. I think it would be in everyones interest to get it on Bittrex. I have also been in touch with other exchanges and will provide further updates.

We are getting close to the hard fork at block 70,000 and I have tried as much as I can to get the message out that this will be happening but at last count using 'getpeerinfo' there is still 4 of 10 peers running the old version 1.0.0 so that it a bit concerning. I guess that means they are not following either this forum or Twitter or the BITZ website. There is still a day or so to go so we will see...hope for the best. As far as I am aware, both the pools and the exchanges are all running version 1.0.1 so that helps.

We are also working behind the scenes to upgrade the logo / graphics.

With regards to the merchant side of things, BITZ has been added to GoUrl.io voting list and is currently number 3 on the list:

I have started it off by putting in 100 votes (0.04 BTC) and will make sure that BITZ are staying at the top of the list. If you are holding BITZ this is a very good way to secure your investment so please visit https://gourl.io/coin-voting.html and vote if you can or consider if you are in a position to get some free votes for BITZ. If we are successful in getting BITZ on GoUrl.io this means great exposure and will secure a higher value for everyone.

I am in the process of putting together a "proposal" sheet that I will use to promote BITZ to other online crypto payment processors. In addition to this, the next phase is some legwork in London to get some exposure around town.

There will also be more work put in around social networking and increasing the exposure through Twitter, Facebook and Weibo.

We are currently only two people working on this (along side day jobs) so please be patient. I have not sold any BITZ yet because I know that the price will go up.
