1381  Other / Off-topic / Re: Quality War ( Europe vs China and India ) on: July 26, 2020, 04:41:29 PM
Indians and Chinese are telling me that they make better products and offer better services then us ... Grin

They can say that because they both have the largest population here in the world and their labor is much stronger than other country. Being a 1st and 2nd with largest population will surely take advantage of their labor to produce and make a lot product, and that's the reason why their economy is strong.

For quite a while, China products are almost equated with mass-produced, substandard, disposable, cheap, easy to break, and even dangerous to use due to certain chemical components.

That's the only thing that they lack although they have a lot of manufacturers but the quality is not that guaranteed. Most of the materials that they used in their products are very poor quality but they are affordable that's why the demand is high.
1382  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SCAM OR NOT? on: July 26, 2020, 04:11:26 PM
Some one help. I bought /invested 500 in Bitcoin with someone I was told I would receive my return in 7 days after after which I was then told I had to a 1000 for profit withdrawal fee. This took 5 days to reflect in my coinbase wallet at which time I forwarded the funds. Now I'm asked to send another 1000 for a Crypto receiving allowance Fee before I receive my return. I have not sent it.
In my understanding it was clear a scam. You need to send a higher amount again just to receive your profit which i think you already lost if you send $1000. Scammers are really just around,so be careful when you invest and don't trust someone easily that you really don't know yet.

This was an obvious scam, normal and decent people will not do that if they want to help someone earn profits. If they asked you to send money higher than your expected profit and if they ask you to send money first, that's clearly a scam. Especially, if you don't know that people personally.

You already lost your money, if you are aware at first about these kind of scams then you are not in that place right now where you are thinking about your mistakes. Prevention is always better, and you really don't deserve that kind of scenario where you will become a victim of scamming, no one deserves that.
1383  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Freelancer get payed by Bitcoin? on: July 25, 2020, 04:07:24 PM
If you have skills like doing signature campaign codes and design, or handling campaign management, then just post on Services there are lots of people looking dor this skill. There are many already but you can always start and gained trusted clients later on.

All of the things like that can be learned once you are willing and courageous to have that skills. Skilled people are the most probably to be accepted in the signature campaigns due to the service that they can give and those hardships and effort will become worth it once you have the confidence that those clients are looking for. We are all started from the bottom and it depends on us on how high will our ambition will bring us.

I suggest not focusing too much on finding a freelancing activity that pays in Bitcoin.

Try to focus on those fiat payments then have some of your earnings to be allocated in buying Bitcoin.

Your first option is to find freelance works established in your country. That way, you might be convenient in the application. There are BPOs who are also looking for freelance workers so try looking at it.

This is effective because I know someone who worked for a long time just to but BTC as his asset. Although he is working and earning fiat currency, he is already studying about cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin, and now he is not working anymore. He is just manipulating all of his asset and earning profits that is much larger than his salary before. Keep on doing freelancing and earn experience.
1384  Other / Meta / Re: Do you check the merit history of users before meriting them? on: July 25, 2020, 03:11:01 PM
No, I didn't check their merit history before giving one. The thing that I usually look is if the post caught my attention and aligned with my interest somehow or it is humorous but stating facts. That's all Grin. Regardless of whatever rank they are, I'll give it to them as long as they don't have a red tag. Because for me, a person with a negative feedback (assuming proven guilty) is no longer deserve for a simple recognition like merits.

Being precise towards someone's opinion really satisfies me, as long as he has a lot of facts that he can state to his post then that's approve to me.
When I got interested to someone's post and he is consistent about his points, he is worthy of a merit compared to those people who are just using words that is pleasant in the eye but the thoughts are irrelevant in the topic. But usually, if you are posting and constructing a sentence that is easy to understand and is direct to the point, then i will never hesitate to send a merit for those who really deserve it.
1385  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: JETWIN CASINO HAS OFFICIALLY REFUSED TO PAY ANY OF MY 25,000 DOLLARS IN WINNINGS on: July 25, 2020, 02:38:15 PM
I made promises to my son with that money set up a meeting to buy a home and now I just look stupid. I'm broken hearted and I need retribution or something

This mistake should become a lesson for you to know the difference between a scams and legit. At first, you will really feel bad about the thing that you've done to your money that was supposed to be a budget for buying a home for your family. But, this should served as a lesson for you to become more better and effective in choosing a reputable gambling platforms.

It looks to me that none of you really won anything. They show you big wins only to lurk you to deposit money that they will run away with. This is very popular scamming tactics.

I would also move this thread into reputation section. Post proofs and convince DT to flag them properly. That way if they are scammers - there is nothing else you can do but if not you will for sure get their attention and speed up solving the case.

There are a lot of threads here that will give you idea to identify those scams in gambling platforms.

You can read there and become enlighten about the thing that they do to fool people and steal their money or winnings. This is not  a rare event in gambling industry and cryptocurrency, if you are not aware about those scams then you are probably prone as their victim. Try to read and learn for this losses to never happen again.
1386  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money and beat up inflation rate? Options please! on: July 25, 2020, 01:57:38 PM
Invest what you can without affecting your finance for everyday expenses. At the very least, for the next year, make sure that you won't have any kind of problems living your life when you invest.

That's the first thing to do, never let yourself suffer and lost everything that you have. I know that investments are risky but you should also consider yourself, if you have a budget for an investment and for you own needs. Investments are necessary for you to secure your future and to earn and save your money for you to cope up with the inflation.

Bitcoin is a fine investment, that is if your holding in the long term, but this doesn't guarantee that your money would remain the same as it is when you invested it. Bitcoin is a speculative asset and you can see just from how much the price moves in the long term that your money may or may not be the same, whether it be a positive or negative result.

That's why bitcoin is never a secured investment but it is a good source of profit once its price increase and you have the opportunity to make transactions.

You just need to learn how to accept results.

If you want a 100% assurance, Bitcoin may not be an option.

Bitcoin is only for a short-term manipulation and you just need to make transactions depending on the market, that's why you should know how to deal with those price changes and bitcoin's volatility. Invest on a businesses rather than investing in bitcoin if you want to have a slow but surely growth.
1387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do hackers steal huge amounts of bitcoins? on: July 25, 2020, 12:59:29 PM
They steal because they are criminals in the online world and there's no distinction between offline and online, they are still criminals in the eyes of the law.

All of those things that violates the law are illegal, and stealing the money that you didn't worked hard for is clearly unauthorized.

hackers who steal bitcoins always have ways to launder money and leave no trace, they always calculate in advance, if they stole bitcoins to do nothing, they did not, there are doubts that hackers money laundering with eth transaction fee

One of the reason why people are keep on stealing other people's btc is because, most of the authorities can't track them easily. Their effort is not enough to locate and find those hackers so that they will become accountable for the crime that they commit. We all know that no one is above the law, but they are making good escape after they steal a lot of money. We just need to become more careful about our assets because in reality, if the authority will not do their best to stop those hackings, we will live in this life where they will continuously do that .
1388  Other / Meta / Re: A new group of scammers, make topics with phishing links. Please nuke them. on: July 24, 2020, 02:37:38 PM
They are probably bot accounts and they will ditch the account and create a new one and spam the same thing again. I think the only way to combat this would be to make registration harder. The points of evil system only prevents a small minority of scammers and other bad members from signing up.

I agree with the registration to become more difficult and technical so that bots or fraud users will not enter this forum easily. Scammers will have a hard time to invade this forum if it prioritizes the security of its system. If they don't start to make a simple step to prevent scamming, it will surely get worsen.

I think our best option would be to making registration harder by including randomly generated questions related to the forum so they are both being taught how to use the forum as well as having to answer questions about it.

Questions related to a forum will really help the system to identify if they are really willing to learn or they will just do some scams in this forum.

Another option would be the shadow ban that has been talked about a lot. I think this would probably be the most effective way although again for this specific scammer attack they would learn to get approved by a staff member and then continue on their way of scamming but this would probably stop bots being able to easily exploit the forum.

This shadow banning can minimize the number of their victims and bots who are used in scamming and circulating in a system will be prevented to see publicly.

This will become their restriction when they enter a forum, they will not be easily seen by other people.

Why not automatically temp ban people whose topic titles are similar enough to the ones OP mentioned, and have it expire for a week or so? Most scam topics have something like "[WORKING]" or "✔️Verified" or "Earn up to {x} BTC" so an automated banning bot can look for those key words.

They are using those capitalization and positive words that's why some of their topic titles are beautiful to read. But in reality, it is very obvious and too suspicious whenever I see a title like that. We should always check the content and its legitimacy before engaging to those kind of information.
1389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How fair is Provably Fair? Do you verify every bet as a gambler? on: July 24, 2020, 01:54:06 PM
Mostly I agree with your post, but in front we also need to understand " provably " it self. There is no game like that, all features using bot and monopoly by system, even a gambler win million the site still get billion from lost gambler. Gambling is game for fun and people misunderstanding about the purposes. Use it to become rich is worst and find favorite player from gambling world will make you stuck in rich " imagination ".

But we can't control people and we can't tell them that gambling is bad if they found happiness in that.

Some people are not only doing gambling just to get rich, some people are entertaining themselves to relieve stress.

Don't idolize someone who are good in gambling because that can negatively affect your money. Gambling platforms are fair because that is a requirement and you should be aware about their own fairness when you are finding a casino where you can gamble comfortably. Just don't make gambling as a source of profit for a long-term because it can make your money disappear in a single betting only.
1390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does using trading Bots is more profitable than conventional trading? on: July 24, 2020, 01:24:01 PM
It depends on many different aspects. Using bots is really effective if you know how to use it and find out a strong bot. There are many stupid bots which can cause you to lose a huge amount of money.

I don't really trust those bots for a long-term trading, in short-term trading, it is somehow useful but I don't see myself relying on that platform. It doesn't matter if it is a strong bot, high quality trading bot or something, I just want to learn manual trading with myself only, and improve in every transaction that I make.

The only thing in trading bot is that, there are some features that are automated compared to manual trading.

Trading in traditional ways is not always bad. If you can control your emotions and understand your money management, you will definitely be rewarded.

In trading manually, you will have full control with your assets and strategies. You can also do technical analysis with yourself based on the market and that's more precise and effective. You are your own enemy, that's why you should know how to manage yourself.

Bot is good especially if you want to keep emotions away from your trading but it lose money more than a conventional ways of trading. I learned trading in the conventional way and since then I have not really lose money compare to when I was using bot.

Most of the people here are saying that using bot can make your trading worse, which is true based on other people's experience that I heard.
1391  Economy / Economics / Re: Doing an essay on Bitcoin, need ideas on: July 24, 2020, 12:51:29 PM
I tried to make a research for my university when I was finishing my studies and had the same problem.
There is not so much research around bitcoin and blockchain from the universities. Mostly, companies that move around fintech has written essays and articles about that which do not make valid sources for a university citation.

If you are really into the use of bitcoin, you should make your own research. If you can't find one, then start one.

Making researches about bitcoin can make most of the educated person to become familiar about the uses of bitcoin, advantages, and its benefits in the market. It is much better if universities would try to implement blockchain as a course or subject, and I just read it in some threads here in this forum that if they will try to do that, college students will have a prior knowledge or basic ideas about cryptocurrency.

I think the main purpose of creating bitcoin is like that, satoshi nakamoto wants to create a digital currency that cannot be controlled by others, so only those who have bitcoin can control it and can be used as the safest and fastest transaction solution.

But if it is centralized, government will not agree with that. That's the reason why government is still not prohibiting the use of bitcoin due to its centralization, they can't track and control those bitcoin transactions easily.
1392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need bitcoin? on: July 24, 2020, 12:17:34 PM
Governments don't want it and they wish they could prevent it, because they cannot track you easily, they cannot tax you, they ..., they ..., they...
Governments like censorship, and there is 0% censorship on bitcoin.

The reason is that they are not getting benefits from cryptocurrency transactions. They can't collect taxes because it is centralized and its anonymity will really make them struggle on finding those transactions. Taxes from bitcoins are really the urge of some governments that's why they are legalizing it, but not all countries have that knowledge about bitcoin.

Mass adoption isn't enough. Governments must agree with the idea too. In fiat, if the central bank gets hacked, insurance will just make a case to get your money back.

In bitcoin, there's no such thing like that. The government is not responsible with your money or assets, they are not the one who will give back all of those losses once the bank gets hacked.

Cash is more often used in money laundering and do you think that cash isn't even used for illegal activities? It's even the most used currency for those methods and this taboo about bitcoin must be changed.

Fiat money is the most used currency in crimes or scams, especially that not all people are knowledgeable about the existence of bitcoin and other coins.

Some people only recognize fiat money and not cryptocurrency that is so complex and technical to hold.
1393  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any tips or idea to earn money without investment or inviting friends. Need help on: July 23, 2020, 06:14:56 PM
Any tips or idea to earn money without investment or inviting friends. Need help beginner here thank you in advance God bless.
Some other tips that you might already know because many people have mentioned it here and its like joining a signature campaign and also a bounty. In general, if you have skill, you will get greater opportunities. Pay attention to those who are able to design signature in the service section, they will get money from the skill they have.

Don't waste your opportunity to enhance your skills in order to become qualified for those sideline that is available in this forum.

There are people who are looking for a skilled programmer, graphic designer, signature campaign designer, and etc.

A skilled personality will never be ran out of opportunity in finding a job. Also if you are skilled, you can easily adapt in the market, so if you are willing to invest in cryptocurrency, try to buy bitcoin and start to study more about. Try to visit and read in bitcoin discussion to learn more about the benefits and importance of bitcoin.

And once you are knowledgeable about that, try to hold altcoins and engage in trading. That's the thing that I did 4 years ago, and I never regret engaging into the use of cryptocurrency.
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting biggest winners. on: July 23, 2020, 05:41:25 PM
I just now read the whole article and I was amazed to read that there are others in this list who actually wagered small amount and won. I will call them lucky ones as rarely it happens that someone wins a huge amount by just wagering a few pence.

I also read the article and it doesn't mean that if you started with a small amount of capital, you will not earn the biggest winning that you want.

Sometimes it also includes hardwork and self-discipline in order to prevent losses that can make you stop gambling permanently. They are not lucky ones, they are wise and a professional ones, Luck will not work effectively if you are not wise in making good decisions in gambling activities in order to win huge money.

That is really lucky when that person only bet small amount and won big time or decent amount. Many people do want to win big time and if you don't have enough capital then winning big time might be possible if you are one of the lucky ones to win huge amount of money in betting.

It isn't luck that keeps them alive from gambling, it is the self-discipline and critical thinking skills that you need in order to adjust in any situation when you access a certain gambling platforms. We all want those big winnings to hit us but what can we do if we aren't lucky and professional like them.
1395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Finding Altcoins With Potential on: July 23, 2020, 01:34:35 PM
Anyway, If Kadena is listed in different exchanges already then its a good token to invest. I just have no idea how good like how much profit to expect being a holder.

This is my first time knowing about this Kadena coin and I don't have any knowledge about its existence. But thanks OP for sharing your thoughts and helping us to know this kind of altcoin.

There are really a lot of potential coins that would boom in the future, besides ETH and other famous coins nowadays. Before we engage to this new coin, we should know its benefits, its value in the market, and we need to make sure if this coin will give us enough profit like other coins so that we'll become determined to hold one.

I'm not here to say that you are wrong with your selection of investment but I'm here just to help you also and don't push yourselves of this kind. Because most of them turn into an exit scam, I hope you can open up your mind and think about it. Not forcing you as well.

It is voluntary and no one is forcing you to do so. But always remember that don't waste an opportunity to hold potential coins because it might give you a turning point in your assets once it increases its value in the market. Also be careful of choosing a coin and make sure that you are really confident in holding one because Kadena coin is not that popular enough to give you profit immediately.
1396  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19's "New Normal" is Creating Opportunities in Crypto on: July 23, 2020, 10:56:27 AM
Well, the world's revolving just the same. Life goes on. Opportunities come and go despite whatever's happening around.

Opportunities for other people to hold other coins are there, they should not only rely on bitcoin as a their asset.

I agree with you that the world is still revolving but I don't think that all of the things that are happening today is the same like before. All of us are struggling, all of us are looking for a job where we can earn money just to survive the economic crisis that we are experiencing. If you really want to engage in the use of cryptocurrency amidst of this virus, then so be it.

Very true- everyone has been hit one way or another- some obviously are taking it better than others. There have been a lot of online industries totally demolished by the pandemic. Should we see a second wave, I hope these same businesses are better prepped and learned from the first experience.

No one is exempted, even those rich people are affected, but they are not that affected like those poor people who have no food on their plate just to survive the quarantine. I think the 2nd wave will have a small improvement but I don't think that it will make those online industry businesses to work successfully.
1397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Coronavirus Help Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency - Debate about with Valutainment on: July 23, 2020, 04:22:25 AM
This financial crisis certainly brought a lot of attention to bitcoin.
Bitcoin hold steady, we are now in an interesting price while many world economies and stocks are struggling.

Is $9.5k an interesting price for bitcoin? That's just a normal price for bitcoin and nothing's new to it.

Maybe, some of the people are taking this opportunity to learn and use bitcoin so that they can somehow earn profit while in quarantine.

It would be a mistake to say that corona virus has not changed Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Initially, there was a huge increase in inflation during the corona virus. Although this inflation has overcome the crypto market very quickly. I don't think corona virus helped Bitcoin or cryptocurrency because this has not changed much since the beginning of the year.

Financial crisis don't really have a positive impact to all of us, even in the coins that you are holding. This inflation really brought us a struggle in the crypto market that's why other people are scared to engage in investing to it. Economic crisis like this is not a joke and it is really hard to cope up with this problem when this virus is not yet terminated.
1398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please help me. on: July 22, 2020, 04:14:02 PM
One million dollar is a huge debt for a person who only have a salary of  $2,400 a month, that is never enough for a father who is working so hard. Doing extra effort can help you but you need to sacrifice for you sons future.

Since you want to study about Bitcoin, you must know that Bitcoin isn't miracle which will make you rich quickly. Bitcoin is as risky as other of legit investment where you could lose your money.

There are a lot of people who are treating BTC as a quick rich scheme, they don't even know the reality and struggle of those btc users.

But we can't blame them because they are not that knowledgeable at first towards the use of bitcoin. If you are really interested in bitcoin, you need to know how it works and you need to deal with risks.

It's hard to live off with that amount and knowing that you have kids at school. The solution won't be bitcoin for you IMO. Because investing in bitcoin takes time unless you can be an excellent day trader which you can generate daily profits in trading.

I guess the solution is to get another hustle.

Bitcoin can somehow help, but you need to invest on it. The profits there is not that immediate because you also need hardwork and effort in order to grow there.

Bitcoin is not an instant money, you should understand that.
1399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: July 22, 2020, 01:51:27 PM
Before I started trading, I started gambling in casinos, in freebitcoin, and it consumed me all day, in fact I think I lost much more than I won, today I prefer trading because you can make plans and strategies, some people It does not matter and they confuse trading as gambling and they may find it, but when they run out of luck it is when they will know that it is best to prepare, because today I see trading as a business. In my case I prefer Trading.

Most of the gambling games in a casino are luck-based games so that you have no full control of your money. That's the main disadvantages of gambling, it is really hard to make profits out of it.

While in trading, you have your own decision, own strategies, and own technical analysis in the market so that you can secure your profits and minimize your losses..

It is much better to do trading rather than in gambling, most of the people know that.

Even though it's entirely possible you might be able to make a living from trading, it's unrealistic to expect to do so because most people just don't even make money from trading overall. It's a tough task.

Not all of us have the ability to make money in trading because it needs a lot of experience and skills to become more effective in the market. We have different skills and approach in trading, it depends on you if you are willing to grow in trading.

Gambling is not meant for making profits so just skip the gambling at first. You realized that long term is best among all kind of trading methods because it doesn't need much efforts all you have to do is wait and get reap when it is available for you.

Just like what I've said, it is not the best option to do if you want to have a stable profit.

Gambling and trading is both risky, but in trading, your assets are more secured and you can control yourself. I do trading for so many years because I want to secure my future that's why I'm doing my best in performing technical analysis every time I prepare myself in before making transactions.
1400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Hector Tanajara vs. Mercito Gesta on: July 22, 2020, 12:46:10 PM
Pilipino boxers are known to give their opponent a hard fight when they step on the ring and they are also some Pilipin boxers who manage to knock out their opponent even though they are just some underdog to the fight. The evidence for that is the link below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXmROxWzOwM

It is really a good thing to know that Filipino boxers are an undefeated destroyer. Most of the boxers who are undefeated was getting outboxed by a Filipino boxers because we all know that when it comes to a boxing ring, they are really passionate and determined to defeat his opponent for the sake of the title and his country.

For me, I think that Philippines is full of potential legendary boxers that will soon to be noticed in the future.

It seems that both fighters have their own disadvantages inside the ring but what can I say experience does tell who you are today. I have a high hopes that Gesta has the better chance to win this fight since he got the experience plus a hand that could knock out an opponent. Tanajara's previous records tells that he didn't have any KO's although things would be different if both fighters develop something that could bring them to the glory. But I still choose Gesta. Tongue

In terms of experience, Gesta can really dominate this undefeated boxer Tanajara, but for me experience is not the only factor that can make a boxer dominate his opponent. Tanajara is much younger and I believe that he is quicker than Gesta. But in terms of potential, i'm with this Filipino boxer, I'm not amazed with Tanajara's record.
