141  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: September 04, 2016, 09:20:29 AM
Surely I could accept some of it in Bitcoin as well. There are people who complain about the volatility, but it has been much worse in the past, and has improved over the years.
and I believe it will improve more and more in future.. I am willing to accept a small part of my salary in bitcoin as my saving. because I believe bitcoin is perfect for save your money.
I can't accept all my salary in bitcoin because leter I need to exchange them into fiat again to purchase my daily necessary things.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: September 04, 2016, 07:36:13 AM
I don't think so.
Bitcoin can help people to send money faster and in more secure way and protect their privacy but if you are poor and don't have INternet, Bitcoin can't help you really.
Poor countries we have to help in different way, with donations, educations, investments etc.
and  the fact is bitcoin have all these features. bitcoin is the great source to donate. and it is the perfect investment it self. and it is full of knowledge and education about newest technology.
bitcoin can obviously help poor countries if poor countries adopt bitcoin and be honest with it.
they will earn a fortune with wibtcoin.
143  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Changed my life has it changed yours? on: September 03, 2016, 12:59:10 PM
Bitcoin hasn't change completely my life because I don't have any business that operates in bitcoin or any other service which could change my life, but it has improved my knowledge and opened me few doors, new opportunities and new ways how to make online payments which before bitcoin weren't possible, neither was a dream. Now that I know bitcoin and I'm still learning how it works and troubleshooting with it I have learned more about encryption, private keys and how to stay safer.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can exchanges find out Bitfinex funds if "hacker" runs them throught mixers? on: September 03, 2016, 12:23:36 PM
It's hard to do that, considering that Bitcoin is anonymous. And I think that they won't use that kind of public service, they will probably make their own mixer and use it by their own.

Bitcoin is not anonymous. It's pseudonymous. While an address is not by definition linked to a human identity, it certainly can be in many ways if a user is not very careful to cover all tracks.

Making your own mixer with that amount of hot coins would just put a target on your back when everyone realizes that you're delivering tainted coins from the Bitfinex heist to your customers.

So it is better to use a existing big mixing service. But how can you make your coin safe without being identified by the mixer?

Nowdays there aren't many bitcoin mixer but some that I know are bitcoinfog, bitmixer, cryptomixer and a mixer with .se domain(can't remember now), but how it works are that you send your coins to bitcoinmixer and they send you coins that someone else sent to them, so your coins will go to somewhere else and someone's else coins will go to you minus the mixer fees.
145  Economy / Speculation / Re: When can we expect sub $350 price? on: September 03, 2016, 10:54:44 AM
Haven't been paying attention to the markets lately. When can expect prices similar to those of 2015?

I don't expect to see the bitcoin price $350 anytime soon, the price recently is pretty stable and I think I haven't seen such a stability for a long time now, now that we are in September people may spend more on other things than on trading and a little drop on price should be a surprise for us but I don't think will go that low such as $350.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: September 03, 2016, 09:51:10 AM
If you want to live a very comfortable life don't be satisfied saving your hard earned money, find a better investment to make your money grow.
but the problem in bitcoin world is finding a better and legit investment site is almost impossible(if not impossible then hard like hill) I prefer to save my money instead of wasting them in those ponzi scamming sites which are totally made by stealing peoples money.
so if you get a right place to invest then invest but if you don't then better to keep them save..
147  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: September 03, 2016, 07:42:22 AM
bitcoin is still too young and i think that it has a lot of capabilities to grow, but for now I'm just holding it because of votality of the coin. For example I spent a shit ton of bitcoin and I might regret it someday if there's
another rally that can take break the ATH of bitcoin. I also need to consider that there might be another altcoin out there somewhere being developed that Might replace bitcoin in terms of price and features, so if I hold my bitcoin I can just trade it and get on the hype train of that coin.
well, this is true that bitcoin is still a baby and it is growing. but I think bitcoin took its place very strongly. and it have an huge community and users power.
many altcoins gettinc launch everyday. lots of them are shit coins and some of them are good. but beating bitcoin for an altcoin is impossible. if you are holding bitcoin just because you want to buy that coin which will beat bitcoin then keep dreaming.
148  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: September 03, 2016, 04:00:31 AM
What I really like best in Bitcoin is that the possibility of you getting scammed is lesser than when you use Paypal. You might think that someone paid you in Paypal and everything's good but after a couple of months, he'll dispute his payment. In bitcoin, you can't do that. So basically you can't get scammed in Bitcoin unless you're stupid enough to trust and believe a stranger.
This one is correct. but the fact is people still getting scammed in bitcoin more then other ways. almost 90% bitcoin sites are scams, and lots of individual also willing around here in the forum to scam others. this is the worst thing of bitcoin community.
and just because of those peoples people blame bitcoin it self. even it is not bitcoin's fault.
149  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: September 03, 2016, 03:27:52 AM
I keep all my money in Bitcoin I personally do not believe in the future of FIAT currencies.  With banks bailing out around the world i would prefer to keep my money in BTC.
well. I would also like to add my money. but if my money is in fiat. I don't prefer to exchange them into bitcoin to save them in btc.
I don't think fiat money will get dead in future. no matter bitcoin become how big and how much usage. but it would never effect fiat anyway. govts won't let bitcoin to cover their local currency and kill currency.
150  Economy / Speculation / Re: What did I tell you? BTC will stay down under $600 on: September 03, 2016, 02:42:11 AM
Yes it's not going so well right now but we have to keep  high hopes and just wait it out i think 2017 will be a better year bitcoin wise.
do you think 2016 was a bad year for bitcoin? I don't think so. what was bitcoin price in 2015? only 300$.. in 2016 it reached to 890$. I know it dropped again. but not that much..
and why you are forgetting in 2016 lots of other things happened with bitcoin. thousands of new people started using bitcoin, lots of sites started accepting payment in bitcoin..
I hope 2017 also will be a good year for bitcoin. but 2016 was not bad at all.
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 03, 2016, 02:10:39 AM
You started gambling for fun, so you have to find another thing that brings you fun

In my opinion, gambling for fun is impossible, because when you bet on gambling and lose your bet, it's not fun anymore because you lose your money. To stay away from gambling, you need help from other people, like your parents or your girlfriend.
parents and girlfriend really can't help in this situation. I saw most of gamblers don't let their parents know about that. specially online gambling and bitcoin is not possible to trace. parents themselves  will never know that their kid is playing gambling and wasting his money.
only the person himself can stop gambling by his own well power.
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: September 02, 2016, 10:11:53 AM
I never put in anything into bitcoins, but have been earning them and growing them through my trading skills and reselling few things and stuffs online...
It is easy once you get good contacts with you and have the ability to turn out something small into large...
Same here mate. I also never putted any of my own money into bitcoin but thanks to the entire bitcoin community there is enough ways to earn bitcoin if you have experiences and skills.. I am earning a weekly vague with my bitcoin related activity like you.. like trading, altcoin investment and doing buying selling. and more likely signature campaigns.
153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment pool on: September 01, 2016, 06:30:59 AM
well, the Idea is not bad. if some people become together and and combine their money to invest in one platform which require an amount which is not affordable for them individually..
but the question(and big problem) is where to find a legit site like that? as said above there is no any legit sites and legit sites don't ask for money they ask for work..
154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: September 01, 2016, 03:34:23 AM
Trading ain't a job, but should rather be considered as a habit, a bad habit if not done correctly, and good if you are making profits from it...
It is never easy to trade bitcoins as markets might go against you and you might lose on your investments...
well trading is not a job yes. because in trading we are our own boss and we do it with our own call. a job is that where people do something by someone else's order.
but I don't think trading is an habit.. people don't trade because it is their habit. people trade for earn money.
you can call trading a one person business or Work..
155  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OPAIR ICO=SCAM!! on: August 31, 2016, 07:53:24 AM
well, vouching for an altcoin is not a good thing. I don't prefer to do that(nor I ma doing that), Beccause an altcoin can turn into scam anytime. no one can guarantee that which altcoin is correct(specially new alts)

but I am following their Main announcement thread,.
to be honest I didn't see any scammy thing. Escrow is very important thing. I agree they should use escrow from the bigging but there are a lot of ICO's have been done successfully without escrow. but they started using escrow right away and they've done their ICO quite successfully.
and they are active in the forum and giving updates everyday. now they are launching their wallet and saying that the coin will be add on the exchanges in shortly.

I don't know about screenshots etc, but what I know is this is not a sign of scammers. or simply they haven't declared scammers yet.

I think this is so hurry to call someone scammer until they are giving efforts and active constantly.

they will be scammers if they:
1: don't launch the coin, don't launch the wallet and don't add the coin in the exchanges,
2: Turn of the site (where everyone have their ICO shares)
3: if they went off-line from the forum and stopped updating the thread.
then we can say that this is a scam coin.

Opair is a scam and there are many easy ways to tell, here is just one of them.

I suggest you guys ask for your money back before it is too late.

How would asking for your money back before it's too late help? If this is a scam then all funds are gone already and no one will be getting anything back.

Yeah man it doesn't make sense anymore. if they are scammers then they almost stolen all investment. there is chance that they will reback investors money just for asking that...
156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: August 31, 2016, 06:24:50 AM
Yes indeed trading is unpredictable job, and no matter how expert you are you cant predict 100% right, i think the most important in trading is the updated news, with updated news you can decide what you want to do, and then mind control, even if you see a big drop, never do a panic buy, a good trader know how to control the situation
Yes thats true news is very important to trader they must updated what happen to that coins they buy for not wasting bitcoin. Because of no lack in trading so they money become lost for buying coins not active or called dead coin.
Correct. but this thing apply on altcoin to bitcoin tradding. altcoin trading is more hard in that manner because you never know what will happen next, I think altcoin trading is a live trading. mean you need to be online in most if you want to get more profit. if you went offline and come back after some hours many things can changed in that small time. that's why people call trading is unpredictable.
157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: August 31, 2016, 03:27:29 AM
BTC will make you money, but only it you hold it for the very, very long term and are able to screen out high volatility and negative newsflow along the way. Easier said than done for most of us.
well. I don't think we cane earn enough with just holding bitcoin. as I can see the current price of bitcoin and it's price movement. there is nothing happened in quite long time and bitcoin price is almost stable. don't know it increase or not. so depending on just holding is not a smart move. I prefer to invest but need a lot of research and paper work. and everyone don't have that much patience.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: August 30, 2016, 11:00:41 AM
to me bitcoin is one of the most strongest currency of all the currencies.
well. bitcoin is no doubt a very strong currency in every form.. it is the strongest currency among the web, and the security of bitcoin is also very strong. as op said his friend think someone can hack the bitcoin with just a calculator. I don't think it is possible to hack bitcoin just like that.
some professional and high skilled  hackers hack bitcoin related sites (which happened already many times) but hacking bitcoin it self is not possible.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: August 30, 2016, 08:19:41 AM
I think we can start explain bitcoin by tell them that bitcoin is like other international currencies dollar, euro and many else. They will understand and you explain more about bitcoin.
I agree. we should teach and explain them in simple way.. going to deep details may cause their mind more confuse about bitcoin.
so the best way is to just tell them bitcoin is a currency and it can be use via internet to buy things and it can be earned for free by doing small jobs and works.

Teenagers are smart enough to understand bitcoin.

I don`t know what`s the point of explaining bitcoin to children.

They just won`t use btc because they are still woung and don`t need money.

They have parents to give them money. Grin
the point is not that kids don't need money or bitcoin..but tthe point is kids should know about bitcoin specially a teenage kid who's age is above 15 should know about bitcoin because bitcoin is money of futre I believe.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Worldwide! on: August 30, 2016, 07:24:48 AM
I have seen bitcoin becoming more and more popular in my country over time.More exchange rising and more and more users getting to involve in the bitcoin. It is still not accepted offline in my country but in 5 years i think we will see that to in my country.
Same things are happening in my country(we may both from same country, LOL) lots of people getting interfered into bitcoin everyday. I know hundreds of blog, website, faucets owners and more than that bitcoin holders from my country.
but to be honest I can't say anything about after 5 years.. there is no any government rules and laws for bitcoin in my country. mean they didn't yet decided to what to do with bitcoin. they may ban bitcoin or they may accept bitcoin.
BTW governments don't like bitcoin because it may effect their banks and local economy.
