141  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: May 06, 2024, 06:49:00 AM
If I am to make a choice of investment on casinos token, then the only project o can give my trial to is RLB since the casino have a good presence and long term track records,  and also considering the amount of time that the token have survived the market crises and demand,  all that made the coin to have good foundation that can easily translated into impact for the token which is what will increase the value of the token.

RLB coin is now 50% down from its ATH in November 2023, but overall I think the coin is doing great. Indeed it has survived a lot of crashes since it was introduced in 2022. These's an article called "Rollbit coin price prediction 2024-2033", and they predict $5.48 in 2033:

I have no idea if it's reliable, but I personally think that the chances of that happening are high.

Ever felt the grievance of overnight success?
Multiple ventures didn't guarantee fast or overnight results for some if not most people.....

Below is an invaluable resource or lesson or solution, call it anything effective!!

               You can't
                              have the
                       fruits
                              without
               the roots
By Stephen covey.

I believe this is also true for BTC, you must be rooted in the technicalities before having a good.head way. Which bitcointalk.org is helping so much

Thank you for your good words!

At first I wanted to write some sarcastic comment after reading this "no fruits without the roots" thing, but then I read the next sentence and changed my mind.

Thank you for your good words.
144  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to stop overthinking? on: May 03, 2024, 11:34:20 AM
Overthinking has been a big problem in most of the peoples life. Gives you a negative attitude, affects your relations with friends, family etc. How can you possibly stop yourself from overthinking when probably you have no control of what to think?

Keep yourself busy with different activities. It won't help if those activities will boring for you. You will just be thinking and overthinking while doing those jobs, so find something really engaging for yourself and start doing it.

And upon results, when they are in most losses, they cannot let it pass so they become aggressive.

Aggressiveness may be a good thing when you are fighting your enemy on the battlefield, but it rarely helps in gambling. I'm saying "rarely" instead of "never" because in some extremely rare cases people do win because of their aggressive behaviour. It happens by chance, like those cases when people hit the Jackpot in a lottery, but it happens and it would be wrong to say that people always lose because of their aggressiveness. Most of the time, however, people lose and lose really big amounts when they start acting like that. Be cool and enjoy your gambling experience without going over the edge, that's what I would say to beginners if they want to stay out of gambling addiction.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: May 03, 2024, 09:50:28 AM
Aside from wins I don't really think there is much of an achievement in gambling except your are looking at a few other benefits like stress reduction for some gamblers that take gambling as more of a fun and leisure activity.

Stress reduction is much more important, for me at least, than wins, small or big. I mean, winning $100k or more would be nice, of course, but it's very likely that it will never happen in my life. But if I win $200, those feeling I get when winning it are much more important than money itself.

Sometimes when some gamblers take their gambling goals too high they tend to lose their track of proper gambling habits. This is because some of them can begin to over stake just because they want to hit a particular target.

Right, don't aim for getting big money from gambling in the first place. Aim for entertainment and relaxation, and then will never be disappointed if you play the games you love. Winning money from it should be your secondary goal.
147  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 03, 2024, 08:26:11 AM

forum user freebitco.in PR only promotes whatever is the latest from this site's promotions and that account also announces weekly lottery winners but never seems to announce Lambo winners or maybe I missed it, but we need Thequin to clarify this why hasn't a Lambo winner been announced in the round yet? 10, even though I only have a few golden tickets, at least I still have a little hope of winning, sometimes I'm also curious about the announcement and who knows what will happen, I hope everything is fine.

Oh man, me too! Smiley I have only 3 Golden Tickets for the Round 10 but my hope is always with me. Even just one ticket is enough to have hope.

Hopefully this site doesn't go bankrupt and still has enough money for a Lambo prize to the winner,

FreeBitco.in? Are you joking, mate? They will never go bankrupt. Not in this century for sure.

I don't know for sure that everything is good enough, but there is only one answer that we can probably wait for in this thread, namely an announcement from Thequin so that everyone calms down and doesn't think negatively on this site, ~

I don't remember him saying that. Can you give me a link? TheQuin had been absent on this forum for couple of weeks in April, but he's active now, Last Active: April 29, 2024, 04:37:46 AM. Although the last post by him was made a month ago.

and they announced that "9 Days Left to Win a Lamborghini" in their tweet from Mar 29, 2024. So, it looks like it's 19 days today since the winner was determined. And no word about it neither from TheQuin, nor from freebitco.in PR. Not cool.

Unfortunately, it seems that periodic delays are becoming normal for Freebitcoin, and it isn't clear what this is related to and what is going on inside the Freebitcoin team. For comparison, if I'm not mistaken, the 9th round of the Lambo lottery ended on October 11, then the list of tickets and the winner's ID was published already on October 13, i.e. it took them only 2 days at that time.

That was really great of them. I hope this time it won't be taking much longer from now on.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: May 03, 2024, 07:50:16 AM
~
You ultimately have control of your actions.

It can be a difficult day, or week, month, or year, etc, but at the end of the day it is simply one day at a time.

You can get out of a bad situation, one day at a time. It just takes time, but if you keep advancing every day, you eventually will get better.

I agree with this, absolutely. If you are addicted to gambling, you have to decide to make one step at a time in the direction of freeing yourself from the addiction. You just have to start from something. For example, if you were accustomed to borrowing money for your gambling, say to yourself "I will never do that again!". And then start counting days that have passed without you borrowing money. Celebrate each such day like a victory, because indeed it's a victory over your weakness. Be strong.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: May 03, 2024, 07:20:47 AM
~ When there is no money to gamble such person don't mind going extramile to source for funds since he has install this mentality of regularly gambling without giving break.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

In regards to upping your chances of winning something big, gambling every day is surely better than gambling once a year, BUT, and that's a big "but", you have to consider how much you are spending on your gambling too. If you buy a lottery ticket for $2 once a year, you can afford it even if you are a poor person. But if you buy several tickets each day, or play slots  or whatever kind of gambling you prefer, spending $10-$20 on that every day, then even if you are are not poor, it can be problematic. So, you should always take into account how much you spend on your tries.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Claw Machines: a category of gambling? on: May 03, 2024, 06:42:42 AM
Hahahhaha very very good question is Claw Machines: a category of gambling? Claw machine is everywhere and kid loves it, adult people loves it I mean who dont like this game hahahah and this is personal opinion but I would condider claw machine as mini gambling machine  Grin why because I heard that the owner of the claw machines can setup how much power the claw is and if you have weak claw meaning you need extra careful and focus to win the prize

Yes, and it depends on how much current is going through the mechanism. And even if you have a strong claw, it doesn't matter how "extra careful" you are because the claw can drop the prize intentionally before reaching the prize box. Whether it's gambling or not? I'd call it a rigged gambling. It's when you know that the game is rigged and no matter how skillful or lucky you are it all depends on to what degree it was rigged before you started playing. There's a chance it was rigged to your favour, and then you are "lucky".
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: May 02, 2024, 11:29:10 AM
~

We cannot see our future so there's a chance that after a big win we got a big loss. So in the end of the day we should take good care of ourselves in order to prevent such mistakes. Anyways patience is the best thing we have in our life cause patience is like discipline and self control so if we have that we can avoid further losses. But if w don't have that then there's a chance that we will loss a big amount of money. Cause after we won we still put our bet without knowing the possible outcome.

If you mean "patience" in that sense then I agree with you. If you call people who want to win right away and so they make more and more bets one after another, while it would be better for them to have patience and simply wait for that day when they win, I totally agree you. As it often happens in our lives, we lack patience and that's why we feel unhappy, or, what is even worse, we act recklessly staking more and more until we lose everything.

154  Other / Off-topic / Re: There are dangers from streaming matches from unofficial sites on: May 02, 2024, 10:41:25 AM
The sites that host these services are loaded with malicious links, back doors and tricks to access people’s digital and financial information, giving professional criminals an open invitation to steal from anyone who engages in these activities.
It is loaded with ads. Also your information is not safe as the streamers are selling your information to third party. Not only this, it is just like those free VPN and other free services loaded with ads and sharing people's information with third parties for money. I try as much as possible to stay away from ads and other things like this. Ads can contain malware or link you to a site that contains malware.

Wow. I didn't know about that. Do you think all of them free VPN services are like that?
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Bitcoin halving have been completed, what next? on: May 02, 2024, 10:31:01 AM
  • What path will Bitcoin chose following the halving

If you mean price-wise, it can take some time to have a certain answer to that. The previous Bitcoin halving happened on May 11, 2020. The price of 1 BTC was less than $10k then. It had taken more than half a year before we hit a new ATH and it'd taken another 3 months to reach anything above $60k. So, I mean, it not always happens right after the halving, but it happens eventually, that's what can be said.

  • If this will lead to more people getting involved in Bitcoin

I have absolutely no doubt about that. Look at the stats:

219 million? Are you kidding me? We'll be over 1 billion before the next halving I'm sure.

Yes it is and maybe simply lending money to gamblers to gamble is indirectly like you are encouraging and directing them to a much worse situation based on the idea of “helping”, on the other hand I understand that helping is a good action which is a fact that we as humans are obliged to help each other, but it is a mature mindset if you first think about the various bad effects that will befall them before you lend the money.

We have to have a mature mindset indeed to not be like someone who's giving a rope to someone who wants to end his life. Not everything that is asked from you should be given right away, we must take our time to think at least a minute.

Lending money is not forbidden but we must think rationally and if for example we know that their intention and purpose of borrowing is to gamble then it is clearly better not to lend it because another thing to worry about is the possibility that they will not pay their debts because someone who is addicted usually they will always prioritize their gambling activities when they have money compared to paying their debts to others which means it is clearly likely that you will not be able to get your money back.

Instead of lending to them money we should try to make them think straight. If we see that we are unable to do that, we should suggest going to a professional. We should try to do everything we can to prevent them from risking money again.

Sadly, a lot of loan shark target gamblers specifically for giving a loan since they always ask for collateral that is over value to the loan amount so that they will always at profit regardless if the gambler pay the loan amount or not.

I witness a lot of this kind of loan shark on physical casino that offering loans on loser gambler. You’re right that loan shouldn’t be offered to gamblers since it will just fuel an addiction to play more due to the extra credit that they can get.

True. In fact they don't to lend the money to those poor gamblers, they want to take the collateral.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in and losing the bet on: May 02, 2024, 09:04:57 AM
~Rather I think "I was lucky this time and let's not test our luck further."

And this is the most correct approach to gambling winnings.

Yeah, you bet. When I was young, I had some friends with this crazy 'it's my lucky day!' way of thinking. To be honest, none of them ended up well.

Those who begin to believe in luck and that fortune chooses the lucky one are mistaken. In fact, all events in the field of gambling should be regarded as mathematics: there are certain chances of winning, there are certain chances of losing. And of course there will be a person who will be lucky, maybe even twice. History knows such cases: the lucky ones who won the Jackpot twice. But this is not the will of the Gods or anything else, this is ordinary mathematics.

And we shouldn't forget that we can be unlucky two times in a row too. Just yesterday I was taking part in one pretty unusual dice competition on CryptoGames that described itself as "Lose to win! Lose two consecutive bets with 1.02x payout to be rewarded." So, basically you needed to lose with 97% win chance two times in a row. I succeeded in that:

But it was tough, I must say. Smiley
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land Based Casinos in the Digital Age on: May 02, 2024, 08:26:07 AM
~

First of all, try to erase in your memory what you have seen or knew about Las Vegas and try from the blank scratch. I havent visited casinos in Amsterdam, but I've heard from the guide that they are nice. If they were like a regular casino in your town - specious room with 4-10 tables and an area of slots, then the guide would not have even pointed about casinos of Amsterdam. I went to google and found some nice pictures. They are not like casinos in Vegas (that is why I suggested to erase Vegas experience), but definitely not like regular casino. At least it is not a one big room or place that 100 people would fit, but an area in Amsterdam.

Thanks for your advice! Next time I'm visiting Amsterdam I will definitely go to one of their casinos  to get a closer look at how they operate inside. I will erase everything about Las Vegas that was put there, in my memory, by movies, documentaries and books to not feel disappointed after visiting real-life casinos and comparing them to my false expectations. Thanks for that advice too. Overall, I think visiting land-based casinos from time to time wouldn't hurt anyone, but, of course, if you were diagnosed as a problem gambler, even just once in your life, you should stay away from those places.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really need to blame fraudsters on: May 02, 2024, 07:59:11 AM
We don't really need to blame the fraudster, if you don't fall victim to them there's no way you're going to get scammed, that is why is not advisable for children who's at the age of 17 to start using the internet, reason is because they can easily get scammed.

What do you mean "not advisable"? These days, children have been using the internet since the age of 12, if not earlier. We can't do much about it, and imo we shouldn't. Preventing them using the internet is like pushing them back in the direction of the Stone Age. What we should do is educate our children regarding possible scams on the internet, and ask them to consult us first before following any suspicious links.

And don't keep your Bitcoin on the devices your kids use for browsing the internet, guys. For sure don't do that.
