I agree with this, absolutely. If you are addicted to gambling, you have to decide to make one step at a time in the direction of freeing yourself from the addiction. If you mean price-wise, it can take some time to have a certain answer to that. The previous Bitcoin halving happened on May 11, 2020. The price of 1 BTC was less than $10k then.
