141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Cryptocurrencies 2018 on: December 10, 2017, 05:35:22 PM
You have tried to cover short description for top 10 crypto by marketcap according to coinmarketcap.com which can be appreciated.
This list might not remain same for next few weeks or days as many coins are losing marketcaps and their position on table, people are changing hands for profit and many low priced coins were pumped in last few weeks followed by a big dump.

Cryptocoins are still immature and market changes within few minutes because of small piece of news or hype.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETC has no future, nor should it. on: December 10, 2017, 05:13:04 PM
Looks like you are the one who was behind that large dump on ETC price today LOL  Grin Grin
I was one of the guy who have bought large chunk of your ETC at those dumped price. Lets see who will win, holder or shorter...
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a coin that stays stable forever? on: December 10, 2017, 03:32:37 PM
Tether is one of such coins which tends to hold price 1 USD because there is equal amount of USD backing that token which is hard to believe and many thinks they don't have such amounts in their banks.

https://tether.to/  (read more there on how it works).
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AltCoins for long investment on: December 10, 2017, 02:21:27 PM
I am holding CSNO (bitdice token) with high hopes, it has performed well after ICO but waiting for real boom
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitdice/

Also you can buy some ETC it can easily go to over $100 within next few months. It is still under $30.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin go $15000 before 2018?! on: December 06, 2017, 07:35:22 PM
Upcoming forks might not make any surge on bitcoins price as they are just worthless and there is almost zero buzz about them so people will not buy to just get those forked tokens.

However bitcoin future listing might have both positive and negative impact on price. Many have high hopes about bitcoin future but things can also go wrong from there.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Cryptocurrency Gold Rush on: December 06, 2017, 06:27:25 PM
Actually SEC have charged this project because they were promoting their tokens with unreachable claims
Quote
The company claimed that users could have a return-on-investment of 1,354% in the first 29 days after PlexCoin launched.

ROI of 1350% within one month is not realistic and can't be justified by any means.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero on: December 06, 2017, 04:49:54 PM
Monero will rise high because its the real anonymous con. People are turning to monero now.
Actually recently monero is in news because of this ;

Quote
A group of well-known musicians including Mariah Carey, Marilyn Manson and more has begun accepting the privacy-oriented cryptocurrency monero.

However now it looks like hype of monero is over and people might start to take out profit so some pull back or larger correction on price is possible which can push price to below $200 soon.

149  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hassleless Exchanges on: December 06, 2017, 04:29:00 PM
If you are willing to buy bitcoin with your visa cards than you are already losing privacy you are looking for, if you are willing to buy with your credit card than I don't think not sending any of your personal documents to exchanges can save you from personal identity theft.

You can check purse.io where you can buy stuffs for others in amazon with your credit card and you will get paid in bitcoin but you may end up paying quite higher rate for bitcoin.

Coinbase, bitpanda, cex.io are few options where you can buy bitcoin with your CC but you need to get verified there.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you know its time to sell your altcoins? on: December 06, 2017, 10:09:46 AM
Don't limit your monthly profit, try to make early exit during pumps and don't keep waiting to buy cheaper coins, buy them during correction.

If you will buy any coins at current pumped price you might loss heavy amount so its better to wait for some dip. Every coins are pumping right now so this is not a good point to make an entry.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: December 06, 2017, 09:56:00 AM
Most of the new coins are just for quick profit where newbie lost all they have and owner of the coin + early investors get richer.

If coin/project is not offering something different than there is no need for new coins but every coin is poping out with big claims of replacing bitcoin  Grin Grin
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A multi-currency wallet to recommend on: December 06, 2017, 09:51:35 AM
Coinomi is open source and it is more secure than jaxx as they say. Such applications always should be open source.
I don't know much about coinomi because I haven't used them but talking about JAxx they are now worthless because transactions are not going through smoothly on one click like before.

Eoxdus is more reliable but it is not open sourced.
153  Economy / Speculation / Re: What factors determine the increase or decrease of Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2017, 09:47:41 AM
Many factors can act alone or in combined with others to move bitcoin market in any direction, sometime hype and fud are only enough to cause panic on market and huge dumps/pumps.

- Demand and supply
- Hype/news/fud/updates
- Some big merchants announcing support for bitcoin
- Bitcoin being mentioned in top shows/movies
- Ban on use of bitcoin in some countries
- Regulation impacts
- etc are the few things that can affect bitcoin price.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the best exchange to buy zcash? on: December 06, 2017, 08:00:08 AM
Almost every trading platform have zcash pair in both bitcoin and fiat, you can choose any of them.

Here is also an easy to follow guide by cryptocompare on how to buy/sell zcash read this https://www.cryptocompare.com/exchanges/guides/how-to-buy-and-sell-zcash/

155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Coin will be the best for invest now? on: December 06, 2017, 07:55:23 AM
Pick top 50 coins that has maintained its price in terms of bitcoin for long time even at current surge in bitcoin price, they can get bigger when bitcoin will get some correction.

Also you can choose <$1 coin with very low supply and development team still around the project.

Invest in New ICO that provides something new and shares profit as dividend.
156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex has been locked for over 5 days...due to suspicious activity on: December 05, 2017, 07:56:06 PM
Indeed I have also moved my fund from bittrex to binance. I am just not sure who to trust anymore!
Binance doesn't have any KYC requirement or verification like poloniex and bittrex?

I am also actually searching for better alternative to all this bittrex and poloniex shits but can't find one suitable.

Bittrex is also asking me to get enhanced verified even though I already have basic verification + 2fa activated. Luckily my account is still active there...
157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest a good trading platform on: December 05, 2017, 07:47:59 PM
also does any exchange provide 2factor authentication for deposit/withdrawal ?
2factor authentication for deposits?  Grin Why you need it?

Obviously 2fa on withdrawal is quite mandatory and bitrrex, poloniex, hitbtc, coinexchange and almost all trading platform provides 2FA feature.

I am quite satisfied with poloniex 2fa + email verification on withdrawal.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we need more BTC forks? on: December 05, 2017, 07:42:33 PM
Actually forks can't be stopped because anyone willing to make small changes in bitcoin can fork bitcoin as it is open sourced. We have already seen 100s of forks before and there can be 100s of the them in future too, all the coming forks you have highlighted will not bring any significant improvement in bitcoin so they are just another altcoin which might not hold any value at all.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why calling other currencies altcoins ? on: December 05, 2017, 06:33:47 PM
Currently all the new ICO are trying to develop platforms with different use case than Bitcoin, not similar at all, why people keep calling them altcoins although they are not alternative?
Most of the ICO projects these days creates ETH based tokens and they are called as tokens not altcoins. Altcoins is just general term used for all other coins + tokens created on top of smart contract based coins.

Actually I don't think name can create bigger issues  Grin
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash on Bitstamp soon on: December 05, 2017, 05:47:52 PM
This news can't boost price of bitcoin cash, it is already over priced and soon might get dumped hard. Floor is at $1k so I don't think any price above that is good entry point.

Bitcoin cash is really risky investment because whole market is manipulated by few guys, there is not actually a real demand for bitcoin cash like bitcoin have.
