141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 26, 2021, 05:23:54 PM
Okay ladies finally ICC took a wise decision and T-20 WC is taking place in UAE instead of India. Starting from Oct 17 and featuring 16 teams.

Also remaining games of IPL are going to kick on from Sep 19 (UAE). There seems to be some confusion about IPL's final but as of now they fixed Oct 15 for the finals.
It is great to hear that the T20 World Cup is conducted this year and moved to UAE, the new delta version of virus is started to create panic in many countries and hopefully we will not see any changes in the fixture, since IPL is moved to UAE as well they will be getting more exposure to the ground and surroundings and almost all of the players playing in the IPL will get advantage and it is a good tactic that the rest of the players from other countries participate in the IPL as well.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 25, 2021, 08:37:49 PM
I don't know, but Spence Jr. hasn't fought a boxer as fast and as Manny, so we might see him expose in this fight as some experts believe that Spence is too slow for Manny Pacquiao. We have a lot of predictions to consider but it's the speed I believe which is the advantage of Manny.
If Manny Pacquiao is in his prime touch then he will trouble Errol Spence Jr with his speed and there is no debate about that and some here are confident that he is really training hard even though he did not fight in he past two years and if Manny Pacquiao can bring that same style of offensive boxing he will easily beat Errol Spence but the odds makers are also looking at the age and so is the reason Manny Pacquiao is heavy underdog.

More importantly Ravi Shastri need to go for good. His contract ending after T-20 WC, hope BCCI find some one else after that. Not sure about Test captaincy but in limited over (esp T-20) cricket Kohli is shit as captain.
I thought Ravi Shastri would be replaced after India folded for 36 runs in Australia and when Kohli left to India after that match no one gave a chance for India to win any matches let alone win the series and India changed history and went on to win a Test series in Australia and that cemented the place of Ravi Shastri as well and one loss in WTC final will make any changes and i feel like India will perform better against England and silence everyone about these replacement  Cheesy.
144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 24, 2021, 10:28:24 PM
We can't expect a good fight here because they are just fighting for the money and of course this is well organized and the winners has been decided already by the contracts. Bettors will always put their money on risk, on this exhibition match Jake might be on a good side but we still don't know, Woodley might be the one who will win based on the contract, we'll see.
Everyone who fights at any level be it in the street, club or any form is done to make money and do you make the same claim against the rest of the fighters and promoters, yes it looks like a freak show but that does not mean that they are playing around and the fights are fixed, if they are not well prepared they will get injured seriously and all we see is the fight for a few minutes on the fight day but the preparation will take months and if you are watching those tapes you will understand that they are not playing around.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google has lifted its ban on crypto advertisements on: June 24, 2021, 09:41:18 PM
One thing is sure. The cryptocurrency market has grown so big, that Google can no longer ignore this sector. A blanket ban is not advisable, as the revenue will be simply diverted to their competitors.
Google was literally not trying to ignore the sector but the scammers were taking full advantage of their advertisement and shilling out contents with scam ICO and scam exchanges as well as phishing sites as advertisement and they started getting tons of complaints regarding that and so is the reason they banned cryptocurrency advertisement for a while and not because they are against the market.

But I believe that this ban was not strictly imposed since the beginning of 2021. Because I have seen ads from Indian exchanges such as CoinDCX, WazirX and CoinSwitch Kuber on various internet portals, listed by Google Adsense (I am a resident of India and access internet through an Indian IP). Or do they treat these exchanges as separate from the main cryptocurrency market?
The exchanges that were registered as a business never had any issues in advertising from what i understand and so is the reason you were able to see these advertisements from the exchanges.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot [DOT] is a bad investment because it has unlimited inflation! on: June 24, 2021, 08:50:42 PM
I see Polkadot often mentioned as a good coin when people are asking for DeFi plaforms. But Polkadot is not a good coin, I found out after some research.
Please be caution, when you buy coins because coins are often praised and not mentioned about disadvantages.
Here is why Polkadot is a bad coin for an investment:

- Polkadot hat unlimited inflation, means, Polkadot has not a fixed supply where we know how many coins will be produced.
I hope you will do a complete research on Ethereum and XRP as well and if i remember the last time i checked even they did not have a fixed supply and i am not sure whether they have implemented any supply limit recently but from what i know some of the major hyped coins does not have a fixed supply and yet people are dreaming and talking about higher valuation and in some cases the market are rising without any logic.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 23, 2021, 05:38:30 PM
Just to piss off who think Test cricket is all about Seam and Swing  Grin
Test cricket is about winning each sessions or it will end up like India loosing the final.

In SENA countries teams opt for 5 seam bowlers with no front line spinner or may be 1 spinner. Should India adopt opposite template when playing at home. I would love to see Jadeja-Ashwin-Sundar-Kuldeep-Axar +1 Seam bowling together non stop at Motera-Delhi-Chennai-Kolkatta to every world class batsmen.  Wink
India can create spin wickets and face opponents, that was done in the past where India only had quality spinners and for the first time we are having good quality fast bowlers, so it is better to have a balance, creating spin track alone i do not think our batsman will be able to perform in turning wickets.

New Zealand won the first ever WTC. They played really good cricket and they deserved the win.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 23, 2021, 12:13:34 PM
So ladies... 75 overs left and lead is 94 runs with 5 wickets down. Anyone expecting lower order collapse too Grin You guys are enjoying this thriller?
This session will determine whether WTC final will be shared or New Zealand will win the match, if there was no rain interruption New Zealand would have won the match with the way Indian batsman are struggling and if New Zealand could pick a wicket in the first 5 overs in this session then the match will be wide open and then it is a matter of time they finish the rest of the tail end.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding and taking profits on: June 22, 2021, 10:28:08 PM
~
In my opinion I think it's better to hodl and take profit at the right time and wait for the dip to buy back more quantities and wait for more profit. This way you earn more profits. What do you feel is best to do when holding a coin, please share your opinions!
You invest when the market is going down and then HODL for the long term and that is the safest trading method and all you need is patience while holding the coin and set your target valuation to book your profit and if you are able to identify the resistance then you can very well book your profit and then wait for the market to settle down and repeat the process and that is how lazy traders like me trade  Grin.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Youtube channels and influencers are currupt like the Mexican police on: June 22, 2021, 09:17:08 PM
Everyone is shill everyone promotes other coin for money even the people who seem legit and naive are shills. nobody is trusty.
I lost my money because their advices.
It is sad to hear that you lost money but you should never take advices from random social media personalities as you cannot trust their advises and most of the time they will promote if they are paid to do so and we have seen many influencers promoting scam projects in the past and it will continue like that in the future, so always be cautious while taking advices from any influencer .
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc down trend are started ? on: June 21, 2021, 09:36:45 PM
I also think this is a trend down, as I saw from a well-known youtuber predicting bitcoin is already death cross, but I'm sure it won't be worse than 2018, I think 2018 is the worst time in cryptocurrency history and don't want to experience the same event.
The price of Bitcoin is moving in the same trend for a month and i have seen the article where they say that the market is in a death cross, but these are bullshit claims and if these shits they are claiming are true then the price should breach the support at $30k and fall further and then we can very well say that these death cross claims were true, other than i see the market as it is and we once again reached the support at $30k and we will once again try to break the resistance .
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it possible to lose all your money invested Bitcoin in 2021? on: June 21, 2021, 08:37:24 PM
I have a lot of friends who came to bitcoin in 2017 peak periods and I met them on telegram and over the years seen them buy more and more at lower levels, even as low as under 4k levels, and they dropped their average to 8k by the end all the way from 20k, some of them sold back at 20k instead of waiting which was a shame, some of them sold even earlier when they profited but I know a few who still hold their bitcoins, so long story short as long as you keep holding and buying cheaper in the end you will end up profiting or profiting quicker those are the only options.
That is the smart move, anyone can assure you that you will  not loose a single dime in Bitcoin unless you less off due to panic and high volatility in the market. May be you have seasoned trading friends who knows what they are doing and so is the reason they averaged the holdings they had, the problem is majority who jump into the market have no experience in any sort of trading and those are the ones that mess up huge.

Unless you trade in the options market there is no way anyone loose dime in the Bitcoin market.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran also wants to legalize crypto on: June 21, 2021, 07:57:00 PM
The official goal of Iran is unknown but they are also making things more exciting with bitcoin, they are showing that their activity also related to bitcoin, I don't know what effect this desire will have but the game is getting interesting and needs us to look more psychologically. Challenge the value of bitcoin to a new level or we are becoming a lamb of another form of chaos, Elon Musk's effect has also stemmed from such scenarios and don't rule out the possibility that this is the second scenario and only the main actor is changed
The offical goal by Iran and other similar countries should be that they need to overcome the trade and other restrictions imposed upon them by the US and other countries and they can only overcome these by allowing Bitcoin transaction being used for global trade and they could overcome some of these restrictions .
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make money with NFTs? on: June 21, 2021, 07:08:01 PM
~
Making with money with NFTs sure is tricky. As you've said before, not everything will sell on the market. It's all based on luck more than anything else. My best bet would be to buy and sell in-game items and certain digital collectibles. But even so, the risks of loss would be a lot higher than investing into cryptocurrencies directly. I'd give the industry more time until it matures enough in the mainstream world. NFTs are still fairly new and unknown to many people around the world. With due time, the market will decide which NFTs stay and which will go down the drain. Who knows how far NFTs will go as governments devise new regulations that could either stimulate or stifle its growth? Just my opinion Smiley
So basically it is based upon luck and there are hundreds of projects popping up to take advantage of the NFT hype and i seriously have no idea which project to look and it looks like the old ICO market where every project claims to be the best market for NFT, the only advantage i see is that the artist can sell their artwork without the help of a huge promoting company.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blockchain replace notaries? on: June 21, 2021, 06:50:15 PM
I think it's too early to say whenever Blockchains will replace notaries or simply remain as an alternative solution. Despite Blockchain's promise of eliminating the middleman, it's still not 100% efficient. One way or another, human interaction is required to make it work as intended. The main issue would be changing documents on a daily basis due to the Blockchain's immutable nature. You cannot do this without sacrificing decentralization.
You do not need to erase the document, you simply need to update the document and the changes will be visible and you can view the old document and the new changes and that is how a document should be as we should be able to verify all the changes made without erasing its history especially government documents, but it will take a long time to see changes like these.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a bad time for altcoins? on: June 20, 2021, 08:41:10 PM
Had a good laugh reading some of the responses, all you need to understand is that the entire cryptocurrency market depends upon how Bitcoin is going to perform and if there is a major correction in the Bitcoin market the entire market comes down along with it. Whether to predict the market is good enough to invest, i would say no because most of the coins had a good rally and you need to be careful which coins you are planning to invest.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 20, 2021, 07:38:53 PM
Cricketers now also entering in the NFT world.  Smiley  That's a good use case for NFTs.

Wasim Akram to auction exclusive NFTs from 1992 World Cup
I have seen the hype behind NFT and i know many projects are coming out but what i did not understand just yet is what are they actually auctioning, digital paintings and pictures that can be stored in a blockchain  Huh. Why is there a demand for things that are digital, if Wasim Akram is auctioning his dress that he wore in the final or the stumps used in the finals it will create interest in me. But i really cannot understand why anyone would spend money if you cannot own the physical items.

I am totally ignorant of this space and hence asking these doubts.

In my opinion, I will be happy if Cricket will join to the Olympics. Because, no matter what the rules are now, no rules are permanent. All rules will change over time. So let's join the Cricket at the Olympics. If it is profitable for cricket, the ICC will definitely give more teams a chance to participate. I think all the rules will change over time.
The ICC has to push for that to happen and considering cricket has a large audience than any other sport if the ICC really push for an inclusion the Olympic association would have already added cricket.
158  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: June 20, 2021, 06:17:53 PM
I saw some people making crazy bets on France to win against Hungary in EURO 2020, and here are few examples posted in public...
Betting is all fine when you win and when you can control yourself, but it's not great when France plays only 1:1 and you lose a lot of money Smiley
We always see winning tickets and here are some losing tickets for over $474,450 and for 5,000 euro:
Many lost their money betting for France and there was another match with Spain and those were drawn matches and i have seen huge bets on both these games. What i did was a parlay huge parlay for all the matches with draw or win and i won the bets today as Italy was the last match in my parlay and the bets were not that high but not risky as i was not expecting any upsets but expected a draw in a couple of matches.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 20, 2021, 01:05:40 PM
Ravichandran Ashwin just got out to a horrible shot. He seemed to be in a hurry and was going for shots almost every ball. And in the end gave Tim Southee his first wicket in the test. A total of around 250 would be good, and if the tail enders give proper support to Jadeja, then it may be possible to go beyond that mark.
The tail is exposed and India already lost the 9th wicket and Ravindra Jadeja is still in the crease and all he needs to do is score runs and the last three wickets will not contribute anything as they are typical tail who do not know batting and India scored just 217 runs and the interesting aspect is how New Zealand will tackle the Indian pace bowlers.

Edit:
India all out for 217 runs .
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether FUD on: June 19, 2021, 11:55:57 PM
What are your thoughts on the Tether FUD? Is it something to be concerned about? Could it possibly bring down Bitcoin if Tether implodes? Even Vitalik has expressed concerns about Tether and he doesn't fuck around
Is there anything that is new, the transparency issues were there from the beginning and even during the last rally everyone raised their doubts when Tether started minting millions of coins without any transparency and they still keep on doing that and everyone who started a business around the cryptocurrency market should know about the risk.
