141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is refusing to block Russian customer's crypto wallets. on: March 04, 2022, 03:50:03 PM
While this is good for their reputation and for all the crypto customers(not just the Russians), I worry that it puts them in the crosshairs of the people trying to suppress the Russians via the sanctions. This may seem like a noble act but there may be some ulterior motives that we don't know about. Regardless of having ulterior motives or not, I respect binance for doing this though despite being a centralised exchange. It does not get easily swayed and doesn't distance itself entirely from the ideology of this industry which is freedom to an extent that is enough to not fully be controlled and dictated by any government or banks.

Indeed. I have been believing the wrong things for a while and sure is not a good feeling finding out that I was fooled by how the news are twisted to favor the Russian government. This just goes to show that information is very vital for everyone and with just twisting a few facts, anyone can mislead the masses which is a very huge disadvantage for the ones being lied to specially the ones being wronged. It seems we can never really trust the news we read anywhere nowadays without researching and confirming for ourselves the facts. Leaves a bad taste but at least I realized that people saying media is manipulated isn't just a simple conspiracy.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin uptrend stop after Barry Silbert tweet that they are buying Bitcoin on: March 04, 2022, 12:40:59 PM
Look man, the guy is just using anything he can at his disposal. Can't blame the guy for taking advantage of what cards he can use to gain profits. It is smart just like how Elon used his cards to his advantage. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth but what can we do? Lol. One thing I can say though is that if we were in their shoes, we won't even be able to assure whether or not we would be doing the same things they did that the majority hates or sees as an unfair course of action.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Impact of Ukrain Bitcoin Donation and Support. on: March 03, 2022, 03:57:21 PM
I agree with op. With all the things going on with the world today and not just on Ukraine, more and more people are starting to hear about bitcoin and other altcoins all over the world. Not just once in a blue moon mentions but almost everywhere. What's more is that the people do not hear hear it from fuds like hacks happening or people doing illegal things with it. Instead, they hear about crypto currencies being used to help people which makes them want to learn more, and by doing so, they understand what this industry is and how innovative the solutions it can offer are. This kind of publicity is very vital. Too bad though, it required a very high cost. Sad
145  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A topic for everyone who still thinks that the Russians do not bomb civilians on: March 03, 2022, 03:15:53 PM
If you are not reserve army, you better get out of Ukraine. Its not your job.

While I agree with you, I think I understand why people still volunteer despite being afraid. They are fighting for something and that is freedom. Ukraine lacks a lot of man power and as a citizen of their own country, they can understand that it is their responsibility to fight for their motherland because of not, who will? And if not now, then when? The others only help with donation but not with physical soldiers. Rather than seeing them as people making db decisions, I honestly feel amazed and have high respect for them for ignoring fear for the sale of what they believe in, for their motherland.
146  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hello from Kyiv, Ukraine on: March 03, 2022, 02:41:20 PM
To be honest, I used to blame US for provoking Russia over the years that made the application of Ukraine to be part of the NATO become the last straw for Russia. But seeing how things are already, Russia is looking more and more like a bully. Ukraine has every right to choose for it's own. It is a free country and should not be dictated to do things like this or that. War should be the last thing to happen nowadays. This is just madness. What amazes me though are Ukrainians like you, I even heard people from overseas really went back to your country to help defend it and your president himself not backing down and escaping despite being offered to, instead he asked for ammunition. Stay strong sir, along all the Ukrainian people, most of all keep safe. I don't know if you believe in religion or not but I have been oraying and will surely continue to pray for Ukraine and for the leaders involved with all these to be enlightened enough to make decisions that won't have to lead to more conflicts.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's meta here and there on: March 02, 2022, 02:53:21 PM
For the lazy ones, then itll be a big problem but for the rest that do extensive research about the altcoins which grabs their attention and creates a detailed investment plans in advance, then the whole trend of metaverse and other shitcoins on BSC goldmines. Believe me, profits are fast on shitcoins. If one masters shitcoin hunting, then huge amount of profits with controlled risk are highly achievable.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Ukraine issue has me thinking a lot. In a crisis, how valuable is bitcoin? on: March 02, 2022, 02:24:03 PM
If you are heavily invested on crypto, then immediately evacuate from the place of war. What's important is the safety of you and your loved ones. Your property will always be there reduced to ashes or not. It should be obvious when a war is about to breakout so at the threat just bolt and think of it as a vacation and decide on the next course of action depending on the circumstances. But if war threat isn't that bad, or if inflation doesn't make things that difficult. Then just diversify assets. The thing with crypto is that it opens a lot of doors and gives a lot of opportunities. The only limit is a person's resourcefulness and ideas.
149  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where are the guts of NATO & the US? on: March 02, 2022, 01:39:01 PM

TBH, I really don't know anymore. I just tried reading more about this and seems like Russia and US had agreement that US will not expand even an inch towards the east but the US did so plenty of times it even has missile assemblies on Romania and Poland and now they want UK as well to he oart of NATO, goals simply look fishy. Which is why Putin sees this as an insult and an act of deceiving Russia. But then again it was just a verbal agreement, and UKR already has every right to be free and in fact was the one who made an application for NATO. I am so confused with everything at the moment. Seems information is lacking about this issue between the US and Russia to really point out who needs to be blamed. One thing is clear though, their egos make this thing last longer than it should and is now affecting a lot of people. :/

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can NFTs disrupt the traditional economy? on: February 26, 2022, 04:01:12 PM
Honestly, I do not see NFTs being something that would disrupt industries in fact, I think that instead of disrupting, it will revolutionise most if not all of the industries existing. Although it may become a bit chaotic in the short to midterm but in the long run, the possibilities are endless! NFTs for me isn't limited to being just stuff that we often see being shilled on twitter but an innovative invention that has many uses. If it gets enough attention and brilliant minds then we can only expect more from it.
151  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where are the guts of NATO & the US? on: February 26, 2022, 03:14:43 PM

I would suggest to get your head out of Putin's ass, it's unsanitary. He's lying about every bit of this "military operation", including his motives. Provoked little snowflake LOL.

Well, maybe I do get carried away and may have a bit of misinformation on my part but as far as what I can see, Ukraine is the origin of Russia and all throughout the years, US has been expanding influence with clear goals of suppressing Russia. With their actions it's really not that difficult to understand. And now things has reached this point, the US barely does anything to prevent the deaths from happening. Don't get me wrong though, no matter the cause, win or lose,  whether you manage to protect or not or however the hell it is sugarcoated, war is a pointless exercise. What I am trying to point out is the possibility of all these nonsense not happening had the US thought about their actions more carefully and didn't continue to provoke Russia.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Bitcoin, You'll Thank Me Later - Mexican Billionaire Says on: February 26, 2022, 02:27:41 PM
Such refreshing topic out of all the fud nowadays. Words sure do spread fast specially when it comes from a reputable person I remember seeing dozens of content creators covering about this story. Which is a good thing to boost everyone's morale after a couple of red days. Now about the guy, I appreciate him being open about his views not like others who spout one thing and do another; talk crap about crypto but secretly buy and hold. I definitely am gon keep tabs on this guy.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia cut off from Swift is fantastic opportunity for bitcoin on: February 25, 2022, 04:06:42 PM
I absolutely do not think that Russia even considers the option of using bitcoin or any other crypto currency right now since they aren't even on a very desperate situation yet. Mind you, Russia right now still has Italy and Germany which is their traditional customers which have both disagrees with the idea of cutting Russia off from Swift. But even if they do get cut off, they still have china as an option which China would gladly accept. I may be wrong but it's just how I understand the current situation.
154  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where are the guts of NATO & the US? on: February 25, 2022, 03:02:10 PM
The inevitable has happened. Right now, the US and the entirety of NATO are powerless over the actions of Russia. A little mistake would ignite a bigger problem. If the US along with the NATO didn't continually provoke Russia time and time again, they never would've even considered taking over Ukraine. Now that things has come to this, the only better option taht I see is to take steps or create plans that would lessen both the economical and structural damages and the casualties. I hope this time the US considers things more carefully.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this for real? on: February 25, 2022, 02:21:00 PM
The main thing consider about this is the word "recommend" which ryzaadit mentioned. Which means that this has not come me into pass yet or has not happened yet. On the FUD side, it barely compares to the current FUDs circulating around the web that affects this industry. However though, if this recommendation gets a status of "being considered seriously" by the parties that do have the ability to make it happen, then that would be able to cause some serious FUD despite it being unreasonable and impossible to be approved since it would trample on the majority of the coins/tokens in this industry.
156  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Nazi regime of Russia started a war against Ukraine! on: February 24, 2022, 01:31:23 PM
This is just so sad and scary at the same time. Just now, there have been several posts on social medias about this war really happening. There are even video clips which is really scary. I for one never really expected Russia to actually go through with their plans and really invade Ukraine to start a war despite the threats of the US. I  just hope this does not turn into something even bigger and that the parties involved would still be open for peace talks and somehow reach an understanding that would be good enough to stop this madness.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie Come to Crypto What they should do first? on: February 24, 2022, 12:46:05 PM
Invest! Not on any asset or coin but on your knowledge. Read a lot about this industry, the Blockchains, how they work, their purpose and uses, security, how to keep your funds(assets) safe, and so much more. You can simply search it or find a mentor a paid one or a friend. If not possible, free stuff are available all over the internet, you just have to put effort in searching for the information you need. In this industry, the amount of effort and time you put into gaining knowledge will determine what your future will be in this industry so please prioritize knowledge along with low cost experiences first. I would've really appreciated if someone has told me this in the past and so I tell you this now. Good luck and I hope this helps.
158  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Initiative against war - Upside down your avatar on: February 24, 2022, 12:14:52 PM
I mean, by all means, I would love to but. . . Yeah, I think you understand my problem. But seriously though, I never would've imagined that things would be escalating to this extent. Now fear really starts to kick in while patience of parties involved directly and indirectly are being tested. We are talking about a potential world war if things don't get settled soon. The economical damage would be devastating along with the environmental damagaes. The poor people, the poor children that barely understands what's happening with their country. I pity the people involved along with the soldiers and their families. I really hope that there can still be peaceful talks that would take place.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find ICOs worth investing? on: February 23, 2022, 12:44:24 PM
This is definitely not an easy task op. Euther you put in the effort or spend for spoonfed information. First option includes going through lots and lots of startup projects and checking every developing team, every community, road maps, marketing strategies, usecases and tokenomics which is quite a hassle for some while for others not so. It depends on what type of person you are. For the second option however, you just have to pay for some good signals about gems that are about to shoot up(start up projects that have great potential or low cap coins) and do nothing but buy what you're being told to. Here, all the hassle from the first option is done by the one beung paid by you so you don't have to move your lazy ass and just expect money to rain on you. Of course, you still have to beware of scams so be sure to find a credible source before payung and using their services. Hope this helps Wink
160  Economy / Economics / Re: OMG crypto is low ! what do i do ? on: February 23, 2022, 12:05:15 PM
Lol. Just another phase in the crypto industry. Your suggestions are good for some people but not for everyone since not all people that are in this industry are tech savvy guys. Some are just investors or even just sma time traders while some are in the middle or are in the process of transitioning from an unvestor to a developer and more. For me, the best thing for low prices is to buy the best picks you have when prices are low and just DCA when prices get even lower. This style has worked wonders for me. I hope this helps.
