since I didn't order, or ship the S3s.

That's the first truthful thing you've said in weeks.... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Really I just don't get what the hell your end game is here. You created this account solely to flood this thread, which you have been doing pretty relentlessly, and in case you haven't figured it out yet nobody gives a flying fuck.  The pool has 1500+ miners who are being paid for their work and who are openly discussing and working to resolve problems when they do arise (myself included btw so you can save the sock puppet accusations).  The S3's you keep screaming about like a two year old were not a fucking raffle that you bought a ticket for and are now righteously demanding to see proof of a winner's list to.
You have no right to see anything from any of the winners, nor do I or anyone else. It simply isn't any of your fucking business.
If 22 of the 'supposed' winners were posting on here 50 times a day saying they never got them, etc. etc. then *MAYBE* there would be something to discuss but it seems like the only people who have a hard on here are you and one other idiot who may very well be another alias of yours, and you have the nerve to talk about transparency?
Get the fuck over it.  All winners got them, didn't get them, are getting them AND a free blow job from a porn star of their choosing, whatever the story is it is not your story and carrying on here about how you called UPS and asked them some idiotic question about tracking information makes you sound about as fucking crazy as...well...you probably are!
If you even made such a phone call somewhere other than in your broken head the UPS guy probably had you on speaker and the whole office laughed their ass off while he was jerking you off (which incidentally is a great way to relieve stress and it sounds you've got a fuck load of it!).
Why don't you just point your shit somewhere else and end this bullshit.
ok iglasses quit being so nice to him and tell us what you really think!  Grin
1402  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 30, 2014, 02:04:22 PM
The sooner concrete evidence is provided that proves some of these s3's went to genuine miners and not fake accounts or people working for / with the pool the better.

If this cant be given soon then its obvious what's really gone on here.

I think it's pretty obvious anyway tbh, for various reasons, but there are some glaringly obvious lies that give the game away right here on the thread. I find it amazing that people are prepared to accept whatever they are told by anyone claiming to be a pool member/operator without the slightest shred of proof or without asking a single simple question for verification about anything. For example, a quick scan through the last 10 pages provides the following:

1) ThePhwner claims that s0br hasn't been online or contactable due to internet issues - despite the fact that s0br's profile history clearly shows that he has been online - why would ThePhawner say something so blatantly false? Why would s0br not say something about his being missing when he was online?

2) ThePhwner also claims that s0br is working hard on fixing the payout issues - this is impossible without an internet connection as he claimed. Why would he say that?

3) ThePhwner posts two completely different pictures here as proof of the miner he "won" claiming they are the same miner - why would he try to lie about it?

4) Why would ThePhwner say that all delivery records have been irretrievably lost, when all he has to do is contact the delivery agent? Why wouldn't he just do this & prove to everyone that they were sent?

5) If you won a miner & it was delivered to you, wouldn't you want to post a picture out of pure gratitude? If other users specifically asked you to tell them what delivery agent was used & could you please post pictures of your free S3 - why wouldn't you oblige & help alleviate other users concerns? Why would you ignore all questions & requests?

This is just a small sample of what I could see without really looking too hard over the last few pages, I'm sure that if you flick back a few more pages & studied a little harder at what has been said/claimed, it wouldn't be too hard to find many more basic errors/lies/untruths - which is obviously what the user "Really?" has done, and what everyone should be doing.

Running multiple servers for a pool costs money, 31 S3's costs money, paying people to help you costs money, paying a claimed (but as yet, not delivered since the pool started) % bonus to every user costs money, posting 31 S3's to users costs money - how can a pool possibly survive paying out more than they earn, giving miners away, paying for employees & postage costs for miners etc without either a very rich & dumb financial backer - or it being a scam?  Think about it guys - it just doesn't make any sense at all. The saying that "if it sounds too good to be true......it probably is" can be applied in big, bold letters here. All this, and I haven't even touched on the late/wrong/low payments that have been here since the pool first started........

The fact that all the sock puppets here have gone remarkably silent since the revelations says it all, they/he is probably busy right now trying to work out another crap excuse before the scam accusation pops up. I get the real feeling that they/he knows that the cat is out of the bag and are preparing to disappear sharpish......

Ask questions, not only of yourselves, but of everything that is going on here - then ask some more. It genuinely does not add up at all.
Really my one question is Why are you cathoderay here??  The pool is only a small part of his overall plan as stated here:

It shows 2 new blocks found. I don't show anything paid out as well. I don't think I will move back until it looks like things are resolved. My unconfirmed for the new blocks are showing now.

Sorry guys.. I passed out! I was up trying to watch it so I can test the new payout system. It's running now and yes we did find 2 blocks... woo! Site will be up soon...
thank you.. Will return tonight when I get home.

Edit: coins hit wallet. All seems to be working as should. Thanks again

Yeah.. everything is fine... I just wanted to personally monitor something that handled something as important as payouts to make sure everything went without a glitch. After about 48 hours of being awake my eyes glassed over and I passed out... haha. We're miners first... this pool exists because we need it to... and everyone else who uses it will benefit too. We're opening a 5 megawatt facility in the next few weeks and will offer the most affordable miner hosting options in the industry to our users... Exciting things over here... not to mention hardware at 80 cents GH/s.

Payouts seem ok now so I'm still mining here but this whole s3 business is a real cock up.

The sooner concrete evidence is provided that proves some of these s3's went to genuine miners and not fake accounts or people working for / with the pool the better.

If this cant be given soon then its obvious what's really gone on here.
I can attest that the first winner did receive his S3 but he also was picked as a second winner a week or so later and has not received the second one yet? I was excited to see that I won one also the other day but now am not sure if I will get it or not. I understand growing pains and have lead a few people to the pool and yesterday worked on another friend to move his 10TH from GHash to here. I really feel the OP is trying to have success and this is not a scam and the pool has paid me over 1.15 BTC to date prizes or not.
1404  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 30, 2014, 11:54:29 AM
Looks like its normal payouts for me to at this time.

*edit Been running for 6 hours or so and payouts seem to be better.

Pool efficiency back up, and the large hasher who came / left about the same time left when payouts started to get better.

I am not a tech guy, but could 1 big miner mess with the whole pools ability to work properly? If so, this might be a good place to start identifying problem / solution

Any news on the S3 drawings and what happened? As an honest potential winner of the prize, I am very anxious to see what the outcome will be of this. Can anyone shine some clarity on whats been going on with that?
my payouts are back to a normal amount also. I have heard nothing about the drawing either but would like to think we are still on to receive them?
1405  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Ok, I've got my 3 Antminer S3s, which pool should I mine them at? on: August 30, 2014, 10:26:27 AM
I received three Antminer S3s and don't know which is the best pool to point them at. I have them up and running at bitminter currently.

Please help/advise,

Thank you,

Brett

I have tried all the larger pools and am using a new pool right now. Give BAN pool a try. It's paying PPS every 2 hours steady. https://mining.bitcoinaffiliatenetwork.com

You will find the pool thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=722202.0
1406  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 29, 2014, 09:33:35 PM
Dear BAN Miners,

At this time, we are having to take the unfortunate step of temporarily suspending any further Antminer S3 drawings. For the sake of transparency, we will tell you that we are investigating some possible improprieties in how the last group of winners was chosen, and until we are certain that this contest is 100% random, we are temporarily suspending any additional drawings.

At this time, the BAN staff has not received an official position from s0br on this, we've heard he has been without internet access due to some weather issues. As such, we are taking the steps we feel are appropriate to bring the current situation to light until more investigation takes place and we can speak to s0br. Please note again that this is temporary.

Thank you for your understanding.

BAN Support

I don't understand this part? So will the winners that were chosen still get their prize?

One thing I wish would have happened if they did the drawing daily as I have been mining here since almost the beginning of the contest when there were very few people but as the pool grew it became unfair to hold the drawings with so many days passed as people who were not here still had a chance to win from all those days past.

Did I word that right?

Anyway what is going to happen now and what was possibly unfair about the latest drawing?

Thanks

If someone with anymore information could elaborate a bit more on this subject that would be great. Is everything going to be re-drawn? Will the people accused of cheating be eliminated and the rest still win? I was pretty excited to win something. And I know if the legitimate winnners will still receive a item that I have nothing to worry. If its all in doubt, that's a bummer, for me at least.
buy4crypto you beat me to the same questions. I know at least on my end I have done nothing wrong and do not know any of the people running  or working for the pool?
1407  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 29, 2014, 11:03:18 AM
hmm... Those pictures looks awfully fishy  Roll Eyes

Well, I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not but unfortunately I took those pictures from an HTC One and smartphone geeks probably know that's got one of the worst cameras in any modern smartphone Sad

But anyway, I promise if something like this comes up again I'll take the pictures using my trusty Nikon DSLR just to have high quality proof Grin
I plan on taking pictures when mine shows up!
1408  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 29, 2014, 11:02:12 AM

I'm happy with BAN, I got my Antminer S3 and this is the tracking number: 1ZA04V040322222466
[/b]

http://postimage.org/    it takes seconds.........

We unfortunately do not have access to all the tracking #'s for the initial batch sent.......

What? How can you possibly not have any details of the sent items? Wait, I'll tell you how - because you never sent them - that's how. So, looking at it objectively - you are unable to prove that you actually sent anything to the "winners", the "winners" are unable to prove that they received anything from you. You, in your efforts to cover it up, post two different pics of the unit that you say you "won" & received........and you wonder why people are suspicious?  Cheesy Cheesy

It's not looking good is it? Not at all.......One day left before the scam accusation goes up - I suggest you find the proof, quickly.

Ok, you want images, here you go:

I do advise you to check the tracking number at UPS.com though because I think that's better proof than the images. Of course, that is unless you're so decided that it is a lie that you'll just think I conspired to have a 14 lb. package shipped from California to me in Puerto Rico during the dates of the draw just to defend a random pool that is doing nothing for me if the draw prize was a lie to begin with. I can't do much for you if you're so paranoid and stubborn as to conclude that. In the meantime I'll just keep happily mining away and you'll just have to realize that even without the draw, if your miners have a decent efficiency, this pool is delivering so I don't see how the draw, which is a bonus on top of delivering the promised payment can be a damning thing if it were a hoax (which it is not).
You got to ask yourself why so many newbies care if we mine here or not?? I know my friend that one the first S3 miner has received it but he also won a second one which he is still waiting for to show up. That must be the scam only sending one miner when he won two!! LOL  Roll Eyes
1409  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: August 29, 2014, 09:10:31 AM

I know the feeling. I was also debating buying S3s but now holding to see what happens. I'm still mining with 8 S1s and they're down to pulling in about 1 BTC a month. At my electricity cost of $0.13/kWh this cost me about $340/month. So I'm still making a small profit at the current BTC price. May upgrade using the kits, but not worth it yet. Waiting to see what happens.

You really need to look at the pencil mod of your S1's I did my 9 miners and now they mine at only 140GH but use @ 200 watts less apiece. So now my electric cost (.125kw) is about .51 day each. You will make more profit doing so. Then this also freed up PSU to run some S3's

Thank you s0rb! I hope the pool hits some blocks for you soon!

It did.. just working on reporting.. i broke the blocks reporting switching to PPS

heh..
That's great! I was on the Bitmain S-3 thread trying to drum up some miners. The problem is the pool sounds to good to be true.... But word will get out. It should help once the winners start to receive the won S-3 miners and they report back hopefully with some pictures to show the disbelievers then this pool should skyrocket!

Thats how I found the pool Smiley
It actually looked like a fishy scam pool. Actually too good to be true.

1 question, has the antminer giveaway ended?

No.. it's real.. we have them.. just the switch to PPS introduced some issues that had to get resolved first... just reporting is left... will ship tomorrow or Monday...

If you need proof that these are real, and really in someones possesion, verify it with any of the tracking numbers above.

Aliso Viejo, CA, United States   08/13/2014   10:43 A.M.   Delivered

People say they received there's from california, so it all makes sense.

Now, go to UPS and check the order for any of those tracking numbers. 31 items in that shipment, one for every day of Aug. Other people have claimed they got them if they won.

I don't doubt If I will get one, I am hoping that he has the time to get them out before the weekend so we can get them next week Smiley

This is only a note for delivery to s0br - that was never the issue. Providing proof that they were delivered to the users of the pool - that is the issue........ Roll Eyes

Correct. It shows that he has them, has intentions of giving them out, has already given them out, has already kept the bonus going for 1 month. Not 1 thing has suggested this is a scam, furthermore, once this grows a bit more hes already stated the bonus will not be forever. So, while you sit here on the fence, others will continue to join and take advantage of the generosity, while he takes advantage of the expanded user base.

Look at all my posts relating to this pool. I have been critical, in and out, I don't stay here if things are fishy. But yet, I come back every time, as things are always resolved to satisfaction.

Now, I have won a antminer, I already asked to make the delivery snappy! and I asked for a confirmation of delivery so I can track it. Soon as I get a response I will post it here for you, so you can see a real person getting the item for your own eyes Smiley
ditto for me as well! I will post labels and pictures when I get my S3

Any news on making up for payment errors... not at home to see if I'm still getting smaller payments but I will be able to check in an hr or two.

Let us know your results. Hopefully its a issue that can , and is fixed. I have tried so many different servers. I am testing a few other pools now to see if my results are specific to this pool, or my network. So far the results are showing me having an issue relating to this pool specifically. I am going to switch some hash back and see if its normalized for me.

For people who are running with normalized payouts, can you tell us what servers you are on? The ones I am on that are giving trouble are east2, west1, and NIX telehouse NY

The pool efficiency is currently displaying under 92%, could this be effecting payouts?
my miners efficiency is showing 99.92% using west1 3334 and east1 3333 as backup

same as you, but 99.94%, no big deal Wink
I guess I just wasn't sure if there were certain servers that were maybe causing the lower pool efficiency ?

1414  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: mining.BitcoinAffiliatenetwork.com - we're giving away 1 Antminer S3 every day! on: August 27, 2014, 06:09:39 PM
i have to say i might end up leaving over this if it continues for another couple days ... so far im down .002 for yesterday and on track to be the same for today as well... that's even lower then my theoretical earnings before the 12.5%.
You realize you'll be leaving because of a approx $1 loss (0.002 = ~$0.85) ? I know that add's up over say a month if it continued that long but I don't know that I'd leave over that.

I mean maybe if it was like a $5 a day loss.

its not the dollar amount, im sure to a high-hashrate miner such as yourself it is nothing, but that .002 represents 1/5 of my total daily profit.
I didn't mean to make it sound like it was nothing, just that I don't think I'd leave over it even if all I had was like one S3 or something.

not JUSt the 20% thats not the sole factor, s0br has been active on IRC but hasnt been active posting here to concerns, the Pwner who i think is supposed to be support seems to not always be the most polite person (tho i havent dealt with him directly so i can say for sure thats true) ... the winner list hasnt been updated in 10 days, cant take very long to do a rand() on the number of people who meet the criteria and post the results, lots of little things that when aggregated together start to make a larger thing and if not fixed soon might be the straw that broke this camel's back.  if your risk tolerance is higher then by all means stay on board, im not saying that anyone else should leave, just trying to let s0br and whoever else know that im entertaining the notion since things are starting to go downhill somewhat at least from my perspective...
some valid points. The heading of this thread promotes the giveaway and it does seem that with all he has tried to do to built the pool it would make sense to follow thru on somethings no matter what is going on out of sight.

I'd like to suggest a "stay logged in" option on he login page for the site. At least something that keeps you logged in for 24hrs.

I know it's no a big thing and there's no rush on it but it would be nice to have, Ty.

Also, I noticed a dip in the last I think 2-3 payments and none of my miners went to backups so no issues there. Anyone else notice this ?
yes same here

All my miners are showing 3333/3334 west1 as dead and are on my backup pools.
The ones I had pointed that way went down also but the east1 was still running. I just redid all my miners to point them to west1 and use the east1 as the backup.

if the price is right i might be interested in some S1's as well if you want to PM me details...
If the price is right I may be willing to sell some of my S1's I have all 9 of them undervolted to run at 140GHs at @ 170 watts. If wanted I can reset them back to factory settings of 180 GHs @ 365 watts. Also can set up with your pool/ miner information if needed. PM me if interested.

I had a hard time cleaning one that was pencil moded. I tried a couple different types of wipes, compressed air, erasers, etc. Finally got it but it was pita. Is there a trick to it?

when you first put the pencil on I just used my finger to remove if needed but once it gets baked on alcohol should clean it off. I redid one the other day to see if I could get better and when adding more pencil it seem to loosen the baked on stuff so that may work also.
