Good work! What was the agenda like?
1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XPM PROOFS! The only physical representation of the first scientific crypto! on: September 29, 2013, 02:06:05 AM
Couple more verbal orders placed overnight, so it looks like number 10 and 11 are gone now. 39 remain!

Also, when ordering, please specify your shipping option so that I can generate a private payment address for the specific amount of your order.
Shipping and handling (all pricing listed in BTC but I will accept payment via CGB, XPM or LTC):
-   Continental US:
o   1 Day Express Mail = 0.3 BTC
o   2 Day Priority Mail = 0.1 BTC
-   International:
o   3-5 Day Express Mail = 0.5 BTC
Am I missing something or are you charging about $65 for 3-5 day express mail? Also, how is a 1 Day Express Mail cheaper than 3-5 Day Express Mail?

Yes, you are missing something, lol. I apologize for the confusion, but it seems you have the old shipping pricing list. It has been edited to the following on the OP:

-   Continental US:
o   1 Day Express Mail = 0.3 BTC
o   2 Day Priority Mail = 0.1 BTC
-   International:
o   Registered Mail = 0.3 BTC

The reason you were seeing 3-5 day express as more expensive than 1 day express is that the 3-5 day version was for international shipments; the 1 day was for US to US shipments. As it turns out I was misled by USPS regarding international shipping, hence the edit. I was at first told that the only way to ship inter national with insurance and tracking was via International Express 3-5 day service (very expensive). On a subsequent shipment I learned that it is forbidden to ship metals via express international and the only way USPS will do it is by Registered Mail service. This service takes about 10 days, but is a little cheaper - while still being insured and trackable. Also the package travels under lock and key and each time it changes hands it has to be signed for. Very secure and safe. The postal worker told me that the Hope Diamond had actually been shipped using this service! Pretty cool little postal history fact I thought. Hope this helps to clear it up. Again, sorry for the confusion - I just learned these things myself.
Ah ok that makes more sense, thanks for clarifying!

1405  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: AnonymousAds v2 - earn ɃɃ with your site OR use ɃɃ to advertize! on: September 28, 2013, 11:51:35 PM
Thanks mate, I have another couple of questions -

1. If I create an ad unit 'other', can I add it along with an existing ad unit 'Site' on the same site? By can I add, I mean does one visitor count towards both these ad units in impressions?
2. What if I create two ad units, both of type 'Site' but of different sizes. Is it fair game them, as in, will you count a visitor towards both the impressions?
1406  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinAd.com, a Paid-To-Click that pays you in Bitcoins! on: September 26, 2013, 11:28:00 PM
Nicely done. Time to expand to Virool Videos and offer the highest industry payout Smiley
1407  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: AnonymousAds v2 - earn ɃɃ with your site OR use ɃɃ to advertize! on: September 23, 2013, 03:44:32 AM
Thanks for this information.
Another quick question - is it allowed to put my ad unit on a different site of mine, or do I have to create a separate ad unit for each website? I'd prefer a single unit put on multiple sites.
1408  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: AnonymousAds v2 - earn ɃɃ with your site OR use ɃɃ to advertize! on: September 22, 2013, 09:28:33 PM
Would it help if I have multiple ad units on the same page? If I have two, will you count two impressions or just one, per page?

We will count 2 non-unique impressions, but only 1 unique one (if the IP is globally unique during 24 hours)

Edit: it might help in some cases, e. g. if it increases your chances to attract advertisers to our service or to generate sales for advertisers that reward for sales.
Gotcha thanks. I presume your earnings are based on non-unique impressions?

Nope, we consider only globally unique traffic since it is too easy to generate non-unique impressions. All publishers are in equal position, we use globally unique impressions as our main  metric to distribute advertisers' daily budgets. Please note that not only amount of traffic you generate is important. You may generate 0 unique impressions but still earn if your visitors buy something from advertisers that reward for it. Anonymous Ads is such an advertiser. If your visitors see our ad and buy from us, you will receive 50% of fees we collect from them no matter how much traffic you generate.
Thanks that makes sense.
What approximate % of ads are ones that pay for buying/fee based? Do they tag visitors through cookies?

1412  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do YOU value Bitcoins worth? on: September 15, 2013, 10:55:00 PM
I am surprised Coinbase didn't make your cut. That's what a majority of people, at least in the US, would prefer because it is very liquid and easily convertible between BTC and USD.

1414  Economy / Goods / Re: Silver Half Dollars 40%-90% on: September 09, 2013, 11:55:07 PM
Anyone want to buy Silver Half Dollars? Half dollars made in 1964 and before contain 90% silver. Half dollars made from 1965-1970 contain 40% silver... The silver melt value of the *-1964 half dollar is $8.50. The silver melt value of the 1965-1970 half dollars is ~$4.00... Would anybody like to buy some off of me? Ill accept 0.02 btc for the 40% silver ones and .05 Btc for the 90% silver ones... I have quite a few in hand
Why are you selling at less than the silver melt value? If you are open for an escrow arrangement, I'll buy.

1416  Economy / Services / Re: Website Preview: BITADS.NET. Now Pay-Per-Day! on: September 08, 2013, 01:28:46 PM
I registered with my website (site in my signature) and I can see it being shown on the site. However, I keep getting the error - "Code not found. The code was not found on your webpage. Please add it and try again." even though I've placed the code on my site and you can see it there as well. Can you take a look and approve my adspace?

I just tried and it worked for me.
"Adspace confirmed! The adspace code was found on the page."
Alright, worked for me when I tried again today morning and all I did was hit the confirm code button again. There was definitely something off yesterday, but happy that it worked now. Looking forward to how this experiment unfolds.

1418  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinGet.com - Get bitcoins for watching videos and completing tasks on: September 04, 2013, 11:35:34 PM
this site works differently for each country or one rule for all I was there for watching something but nothing happen

The content that is served is different per country.
I don't have any Virool Videos for the last couple of days. Did something change? I am in the US. Also, it seems that the number of videos available to me is usually 2-4 which is lower than what my fellow countrymen have experienced. Anything I am doing wrong?
1419  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinGet.com - Get bitcoins for watching videos and completing tasks on: September 04, 2013, 04:04:36 AM
I'm getting 40ubtc per video now instead of 50ubtc...  Roll Eyes

We had to lower rates to compensate for the higher price/cost of bitcoins. Rest assured that you are getting the highest rates anywhere!
You might want to hedge that somehow. Lowering your payout the moment the price of Bitcoin rises against USD isn't a good way to deal with it. I didn't see you increase the payout to 60uBTC when the price fell. Just my honest opinion.

Back when the price of BTC was more volatile, you'd actually see us making changes to the payout every few days. We've paid out as low as 20 uBTC and as high as 250 uBTC per video. You can take a look at past messages on this thread to get an idea.

Prior to this change, we actually raised the payout from 40 uBTC to 50 uBTC back in June. The price has risen steady since then, but we kept it at 50 uBTC only until recently when the cost got too high for us.

Interesting. I wasn't aware of that. I stand corrected, thanks for clarifying.
