1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Not all altcoins will recover on: September 13, 2021, 06:13:04 PM
Not everything that is bought cheaply can be sold at a high price. There are times when we must sell immediately rather than suffer losses that we cannot control. For investors or for people who make trading their main job, what I say is very understandable. It all depends on the market. It could be that when we buy the price in our opinion, only a few minutes later what happens is not an increase, but a 30% decrease. It ever happened.

"In investing, what is comfortable is rarely profitable." — Robert Arnot Whatt

What you are referring may be true in short term trading. IMHO, if you are hodler and have the nerves to see the market in red you wont lose. We panic when we see 20 or 30% dip but in reality its just a matter of nerve testing. See fall of bitcoin from 50k to 32k due to Musk tweet, market has recovered ever since and those who didn't panicked didn't lose anything.

1402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: September 13, 2021, 06:01:53 PM
Selling bitcoin isn't a good option  in my honest opinion, because  the price of bitcoin always goes up after every fall, just check out bitcoin chart since it was created you will find out that it always goes up even if it dumps -90% in price, that alone should tell you to hold cause bitcoin will likely hit 100k in the long run maybe not this year but it will surely reach that price in the future, keep hodling you will reap the reward soon.
selling bitcoins can be done up to 20% of the profit if you have made a profit because this is to stabilize finances. if it stays in bitcoin too long I'm worried the money will stay in bitcoin. and if bitcoin goes up it will be profitable, but if it goes down it will be detrimental. and have to work hard to return the capital.
Depends on your target. If you are long-term investors, it's always brings you good results. Those who bought last 2017-18 and still holding their coins earned a lot. Even many said that $20K is the peak.

Everything inside here depends from how you deal your investment, daytraders or short-term scalpers might have the same mentality as you, but if you do want to maximize your generated profits, keeping your bitcoin and let this cycle to passed the market would be the best thing to do, bounce back will take place after this correction.

Yup your target is everything. If you had your target then sell, don't wait for more. Haste only makes waste. I bought BTC when it was around 10k$ and quit when it was around 30k$. I don't have any guilt of selling so early, since I had achieved my target.
We also dont know whats absolute height and dip, thats why its important to set target and do the needful when you see ur target.
1403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: September 13, 2021, 05:46:55 PM

* funding terrorist,
* money laundering,
*kidnap for ransom using bitcoin, and etc,

this has been the issue eversince but like what answered from the past, even without bitcoin still those illegal doings will exist.

they will do everything using their knowledge and ability to hide their activities.

bitcoin just become controversial because of the popularity and so many users but the thing is no matter what they called bitcoin still the reality speaking that this is also helpful in economy .

Its like a double edge sword, you can use it in both directions. All such fraudulent activities are happening for centuries. Even today most of such fraudulent activities are done in digitally using USD. You can use BTC to transfer funds to your client instantly in country where he is denied banking facility or other way around, choice is yours. We need to understand that BTC is not only about money laundering, ransomware etc its a financial system in which everyone can join without any filtration.
1404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i follow the moves of a successful trader??? on: September 12, 2021, 06:19:05 PM
thanks, though ive done all that.

everuthing i buy tanks.

how do i follow someones moves?

How can you be sure that you will not lose money by copying the movements of others? I'm succesfull trader, I leave from trading for more than 4 years, but I lost a decent bag during 52-43k dump and i'm loosing now trying to trade altcoins which pump right after my sell. My worse month starting from 2020. If you were about to fallow my trader you would be so frustrated right now ... not only because of lost money but also because of the fact that you did not get any lesson from this .. just wasted money. You learned that I was the wrong trader to fallow during this period. While ... it was only 1 loosing month since a very long time.

Learn and trade. Trade as much as it is possible. Reduce the size of the transaction to a minimum to keep learning costs as low as possible. In the beginning, everyone loses, but every lost dollar, is a learned lesson. Contrary to lost dollars when copying moves, listening to signals from trading groups.

The issue with new comers is that they think crypto is all about becoming rich over night. They heard stories of successful traders and think they can do the same without learning or spending some time in crypto market. OP is doing the same, he rather listening to advice of senior member keep on insisting that how he can copy moves of successful traders. Such traders are bound to lose in this market.
1405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks, McDonald’s, and Pizza accept BTC on: September 12, 2021, 06:13:15 PM
I mean, it is to be expected. the government legalized bitcoin so it is the logical move for the business to start accepting bitcoin. and as time passes if the usage of bitcoin in El Salvador increases because of the legalization of bitcoin I'm pretty sure more businesses in El Salvador will start accepting bitcoin too.

But how will they overcome price volatility of BTC. BTC week back is 50k and now its around 45 - 46k? Do they convert BTC to fiat instantly or government is bound to pay them fiat at fix rate. I googled but wasn't able to find answer of that
Starbucks, Pizza Hut and McDonald’s Take Bitcoin in El Salvador

I am one of big fan horse and was eager to try this site. But man thank you so much for posting so much reviews about this site. It clearly indicates that its a scam. I am surprised that why this thread is still active, despite so many negative trust to OP and reviews about this site. Its important to read reviews about the site on thread before investing anything, thats the only way to save your money.

1407  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: September 12, 2021, 09:41:51 AM
Check out my honest Bitsler review published today. This casino has received a 3.6 out of 5 rating from me.

I think I will give Bitsler 5.0 in KYC and Anonymity. I'm playing in Bitsler for a long time now and withdraw multiple times already but I have never been asked to do KYC or hold my account/funds. This is one of the best feature I think that the Bitsler have, they don't ask KYC and they have a license too.

It reminds me of BINANCE, they also don't have KYC for restricted withdrawals. You need to do KYC to avail full features.
I haven't tried Bitsler yet but I am sure if they have license then without KYC you can have restricted features ? Let me know if its like that or other way around.
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CATA]Flow | NFT | Metaverse | Decentralized Cloud Storage on: September 11, 2021, 05:10:35 PM

4. Signup Educational Program: The purpose of the program is to spread knowledge of decentralized storage around the world, and enable more users and Dapps to experience the new manner of decentralized storage service provided by CATA .Our goal is to reach as many people and decentralized projects as possible with our educational programs before running out of funds.

This is a great initiative and every crypto project should spare some funds for such educational programs. New people joining the crypto world doesn't know wts the difference b/w decentralized (BTC) and centralized (XRP). Its very important to keep alive the original concept of crypto proposed by Satoshi back in 2008.

Though there are already a lot of free info from the net, still, this initiative is a very much appreciated.
This will also encourage their platform users to enrich themselves with knowledge that will give them more in-depth understanding of the topic.
Many people here even long timers don't have the full grasp of what can DAPPS do in advancing their experience in crypto industry.

Action speaks louder then the words. Lets see how much they spend on educating the community about the underlying technology.
Crypto is vast field and lots of new concepts have evolved over the decade. It necessary to understand crypto, blockchain, NFT etc since that will help the users in deciding whether the project is worth investing or its just something that cant be done practically.
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MASS is profitable and Cheap to mine ... Here is why? on: September 11, 2021, 05:03:47 PM
MASS (https://massnet.org/en/) is based on the Proof of capacity (PoC) consensus algorithm that is decentralizing the mining industry. Anyone with storage space can mine this coin, there is no need of expensive miners and paying for electricity. A few days back it was said that it's just a useless coin like the rest of new Altcoins but very recently it's listed at MXC exchange and as of this writing, its value is 0.69980$. Please have a look at the following resource and you will get to know that it's a good coin to keep in your portfolio.

Announcement on 2nd Session MASS Staking

There is no doubt stats of MASS (as depicted on CMC) are outstanding, in terms of price, volume and market capital. Apart from MXC, I also find it on hotbit.io .
The only thing I am interested to know right now is how much MASS I can earn if I spare my 10TB HDD along with dedicated computer and internet connection for mining. I tried to find calculator but couldn't find it on this thread nor on there site. If someone can share details about that it will be helpful for me.
1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: September 11, 2021, 04:53:38 PM
Deflationary coins start with huge supply of coins and it will take lot of time to decrease there supply to level where they demand will surpass the supply.
But why there price will increase? There must be some strong reason for this. Not because they are lesser in number will increase there price. The team behind deflationary will have to think about it.
1411  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where can I sell my crypto gambling account? on: September 11, 2021, 11:38:30 AM
Where can I sell crypto gambling accounts?
I have two accounts, one is BC.GAME VIP level 30 account and the other is Betfury.io level 6 account

Does this site allow selling accounts?
Anyone buying gambling accounts must refer to FAQs ( or Support ) to check whether its allowed or not.
OP, you must post proof here from site that they have no objection in selling such accounts.
For instance, this gambling site has policy in FAQs regarding selling of accounts.

it's nice to see you offer a promotion. I hope people will also be kept informed about the progress of the site. When I looked at the site, I noticed that there are a lot of games available. That's very positive.

There site is now fully operational now and I dont find any underdeveloped section as of now.
One good thing which I noticed here is that they also allowed Fun Play, where you can test the game without creating account and depositing any money.
I dont see much reviews about this site on this thread as only one posting regularly on this thread is OP.
1413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wrong to be a long term holder on: September 10, 2021, 06:17:28 PM
It may be greed or part of their strategy. For instance, there are HODLers that have made there mind that they will sell BTC when it will be at 100,000$. Now whether BTC is at 60k or 30k, they are not selling it since its part of there strategy.
On the other hand, greed is a factor that let people keep on waiting for higher and higher value for there coins and end up selling at dip. Since price cant go up all the time.

2 tickets winning is really a mythical event, but maybe tickets are so splitted among different users' hands that it becomes common to happen winnings for two or three digits tickets holders. I say that because the site has 47 million of users, that is more than the population of some small european countries, and every user can acquire few tickets for free just by claiming the faucet reward or by referring some people to the site.
We see right now 147,160,000 tickets for the next draw, but we don't know how many people are holding those tickets. Maybe there are million of people already holding few of them. As there are many of them, it becomes common these small holders are selected as winners.

Thats what they say that they have 47 million users. We dont know how many of them are active. You cant see the games or browse the gambling area without creating an account. I have also created an account just to see the gambling details but I am not an active one.
147 million tickets for next draw means that each of 47 million user has around 3 million tickets. Is this insane or fine?
1415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Is The Best Cryptocurrency To Buy Presently? on: September 09, 2021, 05:16:12 PM
because I don't understand how the cryptocurrency market works yet.
If you do not understand how it works, maybe you shouldn't be investing just yet. Improving your knowledge about it should be your main focus right now. What you would be looking at is how they both work and the fundamentals behind them, this would tell you which is likely to stay above water. You can also use previous chart as a reference to know which has been more consistent in value overtime.

Search on Bitcoin and altcoin books/resources (here on the forum) and look into them, to understand more on how it works.
Also, the most recommended software wallet to use on mobile or PC is electrum, and if you want to purchase higher amounts, look into hardware wallets.

Investing without understanding the crypto market is a mistake made by so many users and its result is only loss. People from outside think that crypto is buying at dip and selling when high, while in reality its difficult to assess whats DIP n whats high. Right now market is very high and its not the best time to buy coins that are on there ATH. DYOR, before you make any decision. Its just my personal opinion.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good News: Ukraine has legalized Bitcoin on: September 09, 2021, 05:10:56 PM
This kind of news is good, but I think you are wrong to equate El Salvador with Ukraine. In El Salvador Bitcoin is an official currency. On the other hand in Ukraine what happened until now is that there was no regulation on cryptocurrencies and the law that has been passed regulates them as a financial asset but not as a currency with which you can pay taxes:

"Although virtual assets are now legitimate in Ukraine, Ukrainians cannot use them as a means of payment or exchange for goods or services — only the official national currency, the hryvnia, has this power. However, Ukrainians can own, exchange and trade cryptocurrencies using local or foreign exchange platforms registered in Ukraine."

It will also determine how Ukraine will regulate the cryptocurrency market in the future.
You are correct that it wont be like allowing full use of decentralized crypto. Both El Salvador and Ukraine are not very big economic powers, so this wont have much impact on bitcoin price. Still its something in favour of BTC that at least its getting attention from governments (though small).
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach 10k? on: September 06, 2021, 05:30:22 PM
Can Ethereum really reach 10k?
And if yes, when can it reach 10k?
Ethereum is at 4k currently.

Sooner or later, Ethereum is sure to hit the $10k price.
Unfortunately, it is not known whether this will be possible during this bull run.
If there are no bad surprises, there is a good chance that it will happen by the end of this year.
We don't know how long this bull run will last, but in my opinion, even if the bear market starts, Ethereum is still a very good investment right now. Even if the prices of other cryptocurrencies start to fall sharply, I believe that thanks to the implementation of ETH 2.0, the price of Ethereum should remain at a high level.
1418  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAKE.COM ODDS PROVIDER SCREWED ME OVER HARD on: September 06, 2021, 05:19:39 PM
Your cashout request has been accepted, according to the last communication. In this scenario, I'm not sure why you'll lose. In this instance, seek clarification from the support team, particularly from those who are active on the forum. I don't use stake.com, therefore I don't have much information, however after accepting a bet, it's not fair to make a loser if the bet ultimately loses.

Cashout request accepted, but too late. In this situation, the player tried to withdraw 10 times when the odds were higher. He couldn't do this because the website had a technical problem. A strange coincidence is here, because withdrawal request was accepted several seconds after the odds dropped significantly.

This right here. Well said. Absolutely bang on.

That’s the key. After all the rejected attempts within 60 seconds the system ultimately accepts the request seconds later at a much lower price.

IMO this should have been rectified on the spot and not even brought to a forum for a dispute.

To be honest, I'm not sure on whose side the mistake is. Whether on the side of the odds provider or on the side of the bookmaker.
But it seems to me that if this was a technical problem with the website then it should be explained by Stake.com.
It is strange that they do not want to clearly respond to your complaint. I think you should keep trying until they give you clear answer what happened, or just admit that the mistake is on their side.
