1401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any tips im new in trading on: August 17, 2016, 06:12:40 PM
The best tip for you is that do not invest your capital in trading as you are new to this field, just separate a minimum amount of your capital and do sell and buy with that and try to increase that amount on any exchange where you want to start trade, and when you notice that now you are in a position that you do not lose any amount there then you will be in a position that you can start trade in full.

I agree that you should not trade in full if you do not have any experience yet in it. Yes there are others who became millionaires in trading but I believe that they did it because of years of experience and hard work. They already have a feel of the market and already have a speculation of when the buyers or sellers will act and where the market will go.Experience, research and trading psychology is needed to be a successful trader. You can see if you already have the trading skills by your performance and if you are consistently earning profit. When this time comes then may be you can invest higher capital to earn bigger profit.
1402  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not just print dollars? on: August 17, 2016, 05:51:57 PM
If we can earn dollar just only to print, many people will rich and just print the dollar to earn money. So money means nothing in this world, because everybody can easily get dollar.

Very appropriate, if that happens then the Dollar would not be applicable elsewhere. because everyone could get it easily without having to spend enormous energy. All the things that are very useful and meaningful in every people is something that is obtained from the results of the hard work. so this will not have a positive impact for the Dollar

If they will print more dollar then there will be more supply which means its value will be lessen. Printing more dollars cause inflation.People will have more money so they can buy more things and then the demand will increase and in effect the sellers will increase their price and all other things will increase also which causes the inflation. That is why they cannot just print the dollars easily because it will have a big effect in the economy.
1403  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: August 17, 2016, 05:01:52 PM
Kids this days are fond of online games than physical games so I think this is one of the way for kids to earn bitcoin. If there is a game that will offer bitcoin as reward for them and this game is really enjoyable that they will not even notice that they are earning. The game should be like Pokemongo which the people are so hook up nowadays may it be young or "feeling young".
1404  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: August 17, 2016, 12:27:55 PM
In the advent of smartphones, I would suggest installing some budget apps where we can track our spending and record our budget for a certain month or year. I have one mine for years now. What I usually do is challenge myself to save more every single month and what I do is adjust some expenses on certain stuff that I have budgeted last month and when you do that, it will become a habit - a good and productive habit.

As for me, I do it in an excel file. I always use computer everyday so it's convenient for me.I keep track of my expenses like how much did I spend on food, groceries, transportation, clothing and other miscellaneous expenses and then set a budget for each kind of expense and see to it that my expenses for the month will not exceed the budget. Upon receiving my salary,I set aside a portion for savings then the rest will be for expenses. I see to it that I update my excel file everyday and I even write what items did I spent my money to and where did I spent it. Through this, I can monitor my expenses and spend only on the things that I needed. I started doing this last January 2015 until now.
1405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Companies Who Reimburse Losses Stay Alive on: August 17, 2016, 10:33:53 AM
A recent blog post from Xapo called “What happens if Xapo gets hacked?” the company discusses the unfortunate Bitfinex heist that took place on August 2, 2016. Xapo says that if they were compromised the company would cover the losses from its own reserve. This is a glaring difference to the many exchanges that failed to reimburse their customers.

It will be interesting to see how Bitfinex fares after their losses as it was the biggest Bitcoin exchange heist since the demise of Mt Gox. It’s safe to say exchanges that don’t pay their customers back in full will discourage new users from entering the Bitcoin space.

https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-reimburse-losses-stay-alive/

People will choose the company that they think there money will be safe. It would be the same case like in banks wherein the deposits are insured and any losses incurred by the bank will be their loss not their customers. So, in bitcoin companies, its their mistake or complacency so they should not let their customers bear the losses that they incurred. It's hard to earn back the customers trust after what happened and then they added more pain by letting the customers bear the loss so it would really hard for the company to earn back the people's trust again.
1406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: August 17, 2016, 10:25:11 AM
Bitcoin is accepted in my country. I can use it to buy mobile load and pay bills for the utilities and I can earn if I pay other bills too aside from my own bills through my wallet. I am hoping that time will come I will be able to buy my basic needs like food and clothing through bitcoin not needing to cash it out as fiat to buy those items.
1407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: August 17, 2016, 10:12:13 AM
As for now, bitcoin has no competition since it is the first digital currency and more popular. Many sites are accepting bitcoin as payment and its the only digital currency that they accept. Although now and then there are new cryptocurrencies created, bitcoin is still the one who will emerged as most traded and used because its been existing for long compared to others and though its value has been tested from time to time, it is still rising.
1408  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex HACKED - funds stolen ! on: August 16, 2016, 01:22:15 PM
I don't know if it is really hacked and they didn't know who are the hackers or they just made it up because it's an inside job and they stole the user's BTC. The users bear the loss and its CEO is nowhere to be found as what I have read in one of the news. The trust of the people in exchanges will not be the same again as it happened also before and the fact that the withdrawals increase upon the open of the exchange again will support it.People should be careful as to where they should put their money/bitcoin and always to spread their funds in several wallets or exchanges to manage risk.
1409  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still have time to reach the 21 BTC goal? on: August 16, 2016, 12:58:53 PM
I believe that I can still reach the 21 BTC goal because I have faith in myself and I'm doing everything that I can do to accumulate bitcoin. Though I can acquire only a little amount from time to time but after years of hard work and my BTC will be accumulated then I can reach that amount. There are different ways of earning BTC and it is just up to me if I will act or just let the opportunity pass by.
1410  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: August 16, 2016, 09:51:44 AM
If i own 21 bitcoins, the half of 21 bitcoins, i will turn it into fiat and the rest i deposit all into gambling sites especially sports betting. I'm sure i can make it growth.

No one should be so confident of gambling as it is always a game of luck and even if you are expert in betting in sports or anything but once you become unlucky you are surely going to lose because it is a part of gambling at the end of the day.

Yes gambling is a sure and fast way to make money if you are lucky but if its your bad day and you bet a large amount then say goodbye to your hard earned coins. Gambling may be one of the ways to make your bitcoin stash grow but relying in luck is really not advisable since you can lose all you have earned in just one bet if you are confident that you can win but you lose it instead. Better invest it in trading where you have control of your coins and yes it is still risky but not as risky as gambling.
1411  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: August 16, 2016, 07:51:51 AM
In terms of spending it online, yes I do spend it by investing or trading but I did not buy anything yet with bitcoin like digital goods. I do send my family some money in our country so its not directly spending the coins itself but converting it to fiat first in order for it to be spent. I wish that time will come when we don't need to convert to fiat in order to buy something that we need like our basic needs like food, clothing, etc..
1412  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: August 15, 2016, 10:23:21 AM
I would say best way is to invest them in trustable service and wait for few years.be patient and you will see the result.you can also invest them in altcoins ,most of them are really successful.

Altcoins should be seen as very short term investments as around 95% of them end up losing nearly all their value after a year or two. Holding Bitcoin may be boring to some people, but it's the most simple and safest way of having a long term investment. And the best thing of all is that you fully own your coins instead of having coins locked up in a certain site or service that promises you a certain interest rate.

I agree that altcoin is for short term only because their price are very volatile and you may lose your coins invested in them if there are some people who will decide to dump it. I trade altcoin and I prefer day trading so as to avoid the pump and dump. Even if I only got a small profit still I prefer to sell it because I'll never know the next day, someone decide to dump it and its price will dive and maybe I would have to wait for weeks just to break even so better buy and sell it on the same day. A profit is still a profit no matter how small it is.
1413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is virtual currency for criminal on: August 15, 2016, 10:08:57 AM
Whatever currency it is may it be digital currency or fiat currency,it can be use by the criminals. People should not generalized that bitcoin is only for criminal because any other currency or commodity is use for crimes as long as it's acceptable as payment. Maybe the one who are thinking that it is for criminal are the ones who didn't really know the nature of bitcoin and just they just believed what they have seen or heard in the news or media which is sometimes fabricated just to let people believe that it is use for bad purposes.
1414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Make a Living Trading? on: August 14, 2016, 07:16:28 AM
its always possible. the thing is that crypto market doesn't always have trends like how the forex does.
Fiat always moves differently and that you are allowed to borrow leverages to which can amplify your earnings. so its better to do it on FOREX but that is if you learn it well too.

Forex has been long existing and many has already have an established strategy on how to gain from it. With the amount of capital you have ($100k), I guess it would be better if you trade forex because the price is more stable than bitcoin where you cannot predict the movement just yet because of its volume and many people/exchanges hold amount that can greatly affect the price movement like the recent hacking. You just have to research and study forex and it would be better if you have a mentor that will guide you. You can still opt to trade bitcoin but its more risky than forex because of the sudden price movements.
1415  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: August 14, 2016, 07:04:03 AM
Daytraders don't have a lot of time, which is why they buy and sell, even if it comes with a cost.
For them it's about getting as much btc at the end of the day. Not btc held in altcoins, but btc to spend on the next altcoin

I prefer day trading also, even though I have to pay transaction fees, I feel safer when I have to buy an altcoin and sell it immediately if I have the profit. The situation of pump and dump is rampant in trading altcoin so we'll never know when they will pump or dump a certain altcoin so what I do is that when I see an altcoin that has a low price using Moving Average, I buy it and then calculate how much would be the breakeven price for that and then set my target price. Even if it's not so high, I will estimate that it will be hit after a few hours if I will be lucky and then when the target price is hit, I'll proceed to the next altcoin.
1416  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Position between traders and markets on: August 14, 2016, 06:44:59 AM
A trader can be likened a fisherman and The market can be likened the sea. We can not control the sea, but we can direct our ship. You don't need defeat the market but your self. So you need psychology trading.

You need psychology in trading because you have to have an inkling of how the buyers or sellers will act when a price is hit. You need to have a certain method or plan and stick to it because you believe that by holding on to it and getting your emotions intact and its not getting in the way of your trading, you will be rewarded or have a profit in the end. If the movement is not on your side then you just have to stay firm with your decision/strategy because you know that you cannot control the market but you can control yourself which is a big factor in trading not deciding immediately because the situation is not in favor with you.
1417  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoin Swag - T-Shirts, Mugs, Phone Cases, Posters - Premium Quality - 15% Off! on: August 14, 2016, 06:29:31 AM
Nice designs and a good way of promoting bitcoin to others. I wish I can buy one right now but I don't have that much BTC yet. Maybe in the next few months if I can have a good profit in my trading and maybe during that time you will have new products available that I will be interested in buying aside from the existing ones.
1418  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is it useful to borrow bitcoin? on: August 14, 2016, 06:19:39 AM
I think the right moment to borrow bitcoin is, if we are in need of money for unexpected needs such as illness. Or purchase goods online, but the goods are really needed and can not be postponed to buy it. for investment I prefer to use my own money

Yeah, that's right, we should borrow money on those emergencies, and purchasing goods that are needed to earn, or if it is part of our workhorse such as memory module of your computer, but I think it is also good to borrow money if we are going into investment, but just make sure that you know the investment very well and the investment has a good record and you know you could pay the money on time and with interest aside from your profit..  Wink

Yes it would be useful to borrow if you use it in something that is really urgent or use it in an investment that you can generate money from and would provide you potential profit . I've read somewhere that using other people's money to generate your own money is one of the qualities of a good investor but being sure that he can repay the money he borrows so that it would be a win-win situation.
1419  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with my signature campaign earnings ? on: August 14, 2016, 06:01:38 AM
Yes investing in multiple altcoins is the best way to minimize risks as even if one coin disappears you always have an opportunity to recover your loss from other.
Yes , but you must has enough amount of bitcoin for recover your loss also you must make balance between each coin you invest and if you can , learned from your experience about choosing a right coin , when you must sell it or buy it .

It would be better to calculate first your profit and loss if you buy and sell an altcoin for that price and then when a price is hit and a position was triggered then you can adjust accordingly your target price for other altcoins. The key here is to have patience in order for your target price price to be hit and to recover any losses if ever you have one. Observing or studying also the movement of the coins will be a big help in choosing the right one.
1420  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: August 14, 2016, 05:51:39 AM
Its mostly investment for me at a moment as I am investing my money on regular basis into it and spend it sometimes if I have to buy some goods online.
Using it as an investment mostly as well since I don't have much of an opportunity to use it as a currency as there are actually no stores nearby where I can spend bitcoins and online bitcoin stores aren't really my thing just yet.

I'm mostly using it as investment too since it is not that popular yet so not many stores accept bitcoin and in fact I did not found a store yet in the country I reside now that accepts bitcoin. It would be better to just hold some of it and then trade some because I believe that time will come when it will be popular and many shops will accept it as payment option and that would be the time I will spend bitcoin on something that I need instead of buying it using fiat.
