1401  Economy / Lending / Re: In need of BTC for buying mining hardware without collateral. on: June 18, 2014, 05:29:59 PM
I need to start with something dude..... unless YOU can lend me some hardware or something..... we can share the profit in 70:30 ratio... 70 for you 30 for me... Wink

You can start by buying some bitcoins and buying some hardware. Period. No one will loan/lend anything to you.
1402  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ANX launches ANXPRO, support for Altcoins and AUD Direct Banking, 0 Fees! on: June 18, 2014, 07:12:53 AM
what is the difference between anxbtc.com and anxpro.com?

Basically, you can trade cryptos for fiat on ANXBTC, and cryptos on ANXPRO.

You using your bitcoin wallet address as your username? It might take along time for you to get any payout most pools now have a minimum amount

You will never get a payout, it's too high and with your GPU you won't earn enough to even meet the minimum cashout limit.

Kill joy he's doing it for fun how do you know he's not orders 10k worth of mining gear and is playing with pools until it arrives. He's asked for help

Because those logs are obviously from GUIMiner, and people that use GUIMiner are ones that think that they can get rich by running a program on a laptop. They will mine with their CPU, and if the drivers are correct, GPU.

If you read his full post you'll see he's doing it for fun then in the log it shows he's using a gt640 which I don't think is a laptop GPU
Either way he already knows he's not going to make anything

"running a program on a laptop" was simply an expression, I basically meant on a computer. He knows he is going to earn very little, but I don't think he understands how little that is, so little that you simply cannot cashout.

Need 0.02 btc....thanks in advance

So, you didn't even bothered to read the OP, or the post above you.
If you can give me a valid reason as to why you cannot read a post, then I will give you some btc.

I hope that goes for me too Tongue

I have a penis that is so long, that when I got a boner it blocked that part of the thread.

That's not a valid reason.

I have a terrible disability that I already forget the name of. The disability causes my eyes to blur up sometimes out of nowhere. This happens especially when I am in front of the computer screen. I am extremely sorry that I missed that post.

And why can't you read it again? Also, if you can read my post, the offer was not for you, but for StarbucksShop.

newbie here. just want to know how it works and how do i earn with it.

Well, you won't be able to participate with a Newbie account for some time. There are now some new campaigns for Junior Members -- wasn't the case before. So you should be good in a few weeks.

Anybody got a link to how account status is calculated?  Based off activity or posts?

OMG... Can you newbies just read the damn stickies?

1408  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difference between Sweep and Import? on: June 17, 2014, 04:35:13 PM

Here is how i understand it:

Sweep- You get your private keys from your wallet which can allow you to re-use an address. Sweeping also makes it possible to have multiple private keys

Correct.

Wrong.

Import simply copies the private key to your wallet. Sweep sends the bitcoins to a new address in the wallet instead.

Sweeping is generally safer but the bitcoins are not instantly available. Simply importing the key into your wallet has a weakness that you must take care to avoid. The old wallet could be compromised and the bitcoins could be stolen. For example, if you are importing from an unencrypted paper wallet, the private key is still available to anyone that obtains the paper wallet. You must ensure that the paper wallet is completely destroyed after importing.

Partially correct, everything except for the first sentence. Sweeping basically means sending all of the bitcoins in the previous address (using its private key) to another existing or newly created address in your wallet.

Most signature campaigns require you to be at least a member or Jr. Member, and you are either paid for making a minimum amount of posts per month, or you are paid per constructive post.

Read the help documentation and did a few searches, I couldn't find any info on this.

I've noticed my activity counter is not going past 126, is this an expected result?

Cheers.

I did not realize we were a herd in here...

It is the name of something. It's a behavior.

If I want to lend with or without collateral it is my choice... If I get burned feel free to flame me  Tongue

I personally won't, but you might get negative trust from some members of this forum just for doing so, since you are encouraging scammers.
1412  Economy / Services / [SELL] Additional 16GB Storage Space on Dropbox on: June 17, 2014, 04:25:30 PM
Dropbox: Extra 16GB

I can get you 32 referrals for your Dropbox account, to get 16GB of extra space (500MB/referral).
All you will need to give me is $10 in BTC, and your Dropbox referral link.
Simply send BTC to 1Cb2JZxh2R8UxLCuQofdNFm4qnSkga2YyU, and then post your transaction ID and referral link, or PM it.

If you have no referrals, you can get 32 referrals and all of the 16GB, but if you already have referrals, I can only give you max 32 referrals (including the number you have)

Wow did not realize a tiny loan would cause all this drama  Undecided Escrow is a good thing when dealing with noobies and larger amounts, but this was a micro loan and he seems legit to me.  If I get burned so be it...

The problem is, by giving this loan without security, you are encouraging the scammers to come out of the woodwork. It may be a small amount, but that's how many work. Start small, build and scam. You are actually hurting the process; you are contributing to the ongoing scamming attempts.

"you are encouraging the scammers" That statement is just stupid...lending a person does not encourage scammers...  It is up to the lender if they want collateral or not.

That statement is not stupid, and it makes perfect sense. Lending to someone without collateral will encourage others to do so, since they see that this guy successfully got a loan, and will think they can get one too.

Vod you are a scam, and so are your little trust buddies in your scamring.  Your word holds no value.

Let's assume Vod is what you say he is.
Now, can you answer all of my questions, and the questions asked by others?

I'd be happy to return on CleverMining if/when X11 and/or scrypt-n is/will be supported

We're launching X11 and Scrypt-N this week!

This is fantastic news Terk!! Always on top of everything here! I'll be switching back to CM when you open the beta for X11.
That's amazing news, CleverMining will get loads more hashes with that.
Maybe a contest for promotion? :p

Since the collect payment form on his site asks for a link to this post, I'll make it just to be safe.

Starting post: 920

Bitcoin address: 1AyRmvqe99mRWU69w8Hbaeej8twMpdeiKm

It asks for the starting post you made when you signed up for this campaign, it didn't ask you to make a new one.
