1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Return Of Terra Luna Classic on: June 28, 2023, 03:35:40 PM
Should they still have the gods to return back to cryptocurrency and present us with another fake project in other to recover the most from their first incidenced consequences, if you think tou can afford the risk then you may go ahead investing but one thing i have learnt from this forum in this aspect is if you have ones broken the rules and gets banned, they will always ensure to avoid any related activities that had to do with you again on the forum, i don't expect people to accept them back again after their evil deeds, it will not be funny seeing them going crazy again should incase things turns out the unexpected way.
1422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to borrow ETH to buy BTC? on: June 28, 2023, 09:54:13 AM
May I ask you to share your experience and advise about how to borrow ETH to buy BTC, please? I'm interested in taking adventage of price action so could be settled off-chain.

I don't think there's an offer for this from exchanges to lend you cryptocurrency but they can always help you exchange the one you have for another which is very common through trading, if i may ask for the reason why you wanted to borrow for an investment, it's more better if you don't have a cryptocurrency to learn how you can earn it than borrowing, this shouldn't be your priority to look after because it will not land you well at the end with the experience you will be having with doing so.
1423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend me altcoin to DCA till halving on: June 28, 2023, 09:46:37 AM
There are many altcoins one can invest on and make profits over time, try to research on the top 10 list of recommended cryptocurrencies for an investment, I will recommend you with few ones here and your first investment should begin with bitcoin then followed by some altcoins like Ethereum, Cardano, polkadot, litecoin, BNB, and many other fews you can choose for an investment after a thorough research on their prospects.
1424  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: June 28, 2023, 08:52:46 AM
Hi friends, I have some questions for you guys about online casinos

What will you do if you don't know that a online casino will ask you for KYC after winning over 8,000$ on the platform? And you now manage to process with the verification and they failed to pass you? Can you consider such a casino a scam?

Also, imagine you get attracted to an online casino because of the bonuses they offer and you open an account and make your first deposit then you didn't receive the promised bonus, is this an act of scam or not?

I am trying to solve such an issue for someone very close to me and that the complaint he gave, I have no answer than maybe the bonus was canceled already before he made the deposit or there was a minimum deposit requirement.

Any other reasons?

does your friend read the TOS of the gambling site very carefully because if in fact it is different from what is written in their TOS then it can be categorized as a mild fraud!

I don't know how many gambling sites actually don't have good management and good money circulation to be able to handle a lot of users because it could be that the gambling site where your friends play is a site that doesn't have good credibility, if there are signs of fraud on the gambling site That's why it's a good idea not to continue playing on that gambling site.

Before we can accuse the gambling platforms for being responsible for what we experienced from using them, we also need to check if there are nothing missing from our own side which we are yet to comply on from their demands, the gambling sites have their own role to fulfill by ensuring they maintain a security network on their website and maintain their websites but if you discover they aren't reputable enough then you may tryout new ones for your satisfaction.
1425  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 28, 2023, 08:31:13 AM
In my point of view this is really risky. These are gambling websites which you are talking about, even I don't use the online exchanges which requires KYC to withdraw funds. Because this is risky. Because I think why I should give personal data to anyone KYC documents are highly confidential documents so we should avoid.

If you think using KYC casino will be of a challenge to you then one have to avoid them and go for the ones that does not consider KYC because there's nothing that could change about having a casino demanding for KYC except you make provisions for it as they required, we are the ones to know the kind of documents we are going to render if such could not be used against us later considering privacy matters.
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Still Gamble? on: June 28, 2023, 07:55:25 AM

As for me I think the parents owe the children nothing to explain to them as long as they never let the vacuum of their responsibilities in training the children remain void, when your children never have access to gambling or where they do such then you owe them no explanation, parents have their own part they play from their children way of upbringings, they must not engage doing things that we will not be aware of which may affect them in life the wrong way.
Parenting comes with a lot of work and educating the child on the danger of some action goes a long way to saving the child in the future when they are no longer with their parents, and it doesn't necessarily need that the child is exposed to it before you give them the awareness on the dangers available in the society and how to handle them.
I use my personal experience to check this thing, when I was young, my parents use to tell me real-life stories and sometimes we had both the good the bad and the ugly so those lessons thought us how to handle some in our real life.
Gambling lessons should be thought to young kids so that that knowledge will help to guide their actions when they grow up.

We need to safe ourselves from future challenges by avoiding our children get exposed to gambling right from onset, children are not yet responsible for their school fees payment, neither do they have other responsibilities attached to them to take care of which needs financial aid, their time is needed to be invested on their education and learn about other careers in life than getting too exposed to gambling at their early stage.
1427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 28, 2023, 07:23:42 AM
I'd guess it's 50/50 casino play and 95% men for sports.

I don't think you really get this whole discussion because there's no way you have have an equal rate of gambling between men and women to share the percentage of 50/50 this is not about considering one types from each other wether be it sport betting, casino games, plinko or slot games, women aren't familiar or conversant with gambling in general terms and their participation is very low compared to that of men.
1428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ads for online gambling should be banned. on: June 28, 2023, 06:59:51 AM
Try to know this that gambling ads cannot be banned by any means, we have to know that except the gambling platforms decided to put a stop to them there may not be a means to avoid this incidence at all, the two sides involved in this mostly benefited from it which is the promoting casinos and the promoters themselves, some gamblers also make uses of this to their advantage because they get updates and offerers through this except for those not interested in seeing ads in their experience being online, the forum casinos has nothing to do with this either nor do they get affected by this decision since their own advertisement here is not by ads except for other platforms they also appears.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top Five Reasons Sports Bettors Are Attracted to eSports on: June 28, 2023, 06:41:10 AM
I guess you can also attribute that it's easier to learn video games and esports compared to traditional sports. It's way easier to be in the game and know the game when you also play the game, hence why more and more people are slowly transitioning towards eSports betting. There are also multiple tournaments being held for different games at a given time in short intervals, too, so it's way easier to look for something to bet on eSports compared to traditional sports.
I don't think that eSports betting is easier than betting on traditional sports knowing that when league matches happen, there are players from all around the world involved in those matches, and for you to know which team plays better, you must have already been watching their games from the past to have some idea, otherwise, you will only waste your money betting on a random team that might not be too good to be the winner.

Generally, both traditional sports and eSports would require you to have some knowledge and experience both about the game and the teams playing because that is the only way you can determine which team will win based on their gaming style and skills, so I don't think it's in any way easier.

We have to give it a responsibility from our own end to apply our best abilities in regards to the way we gamble in general and this does not have to depends on wether we are winning or not but we have to create this passion for knowing more about gambling and it's different sports offers, this knowledge in us will help us have a better experience in approaching the choice we made either with the esport or the traditional sport betting we had always wanted to play.
1430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: June 28, 2023, 06:16:45 AM
Beginners only see other people's big wins from social media, which makes them curious about playing gambling and want to prove it with their money. But if they can't control themselves, it's tantamount to depositing money without a chance to win a lot. If they could take the time to understand that gambling is not as easy as they make it out to be, they would not come close to gambling and would even stay away from it. But we can only give them advice and not force them not to approach gambling.
Seeing other people's game sessions on social media and live streaming is not a good thing for beginners because it can generate curiosity and the desire to win just like what they see.
A great gambler is someone who can be responsible for their actions and choices when gambling, besides that the goal is just to have fun and add experience.
I have seen lots of novice gamblers who have broken down and lost a lot of things because they were too obsessed with game sessions being carried out by other gamblers.
That's right, there are so many beginners who have lost a lot of money because they were too ambitious to earn a lot of money from gambling in a short time. Even though that's not what they see and they need prior knowledge about the gambling they are betting on so they can understand the risks they get if they use too many bets. On the other hand, this action actually makes them run out of money if they feel they are losing continuously and that can interfere with the brain's performance to become chaotic if they cannot control themselves.

It's not everything we see we give an attempt to thesame way they appear, there's a need for us to cross check and examine the conditions that surrounds the situation which is part of what's being needed to give a close attention to, there are ways we can also appear being logical because this can only be the way we can have an upper winning edge over the gambling bets we make whenever we are gambling and the rate which we also loose can be minimized through this.
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: June 28, 2023, 06:00:18 AM
Just as it is commonly applicable to many of us that we don't easily let go of some of our experiences in gambling because we feel very remorse about them thinking that we could have performed well than we did while gambling but there's always a reason to think or remember about the risk involved in gambling a well, we can get over it by being hardworking the more to face the consequent encounters in gambling while taking off our minds from the past experiences in other to be able to move on.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: June 28, 2023, 05:33:12 AM
It's not how often that you gambles makes you remain safe in it, it's how serious and committed you're in doing other things while gambling and none is being affected, this also talks about being able to multitask, we know that not everyone can have upto this ability as expected but we can all try our best by adopting a safety measures, cautions and guides while gambling to help monitors the extent to the rate which we can go in gambling
1433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: June 28, 2023, 05:15:01 AM
IMO, rather than the gamblers, AI will be more useful for sportsbooks to accurately place their odds. I have been gambling on different sports events for more than a decade now, and time to time I come across some really strange odds that doesn't make any sense. Usage of AI will remove any human error in determining these odds. But then, you can only improvise to a certain extent. You can get the odds as accurate as possible, by feeding all the available information. But then there will always be an unexpected result that will put these sportsbooks in deep red.

Why must we totally dependson AI i gambling irrespective of the games or sports it's been applicable to, i may not go against this decision anyway as long as the gambling platforms aren't against it's use moreover the AI results were not always accurate, they are nothing than just an ordinary guess and try of luck but i wonder why many have so depends on using them to gamble thinking everything they offer are accurate enough.
1434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: June 28, 2023, 05:01:09 AM
~snip~
That's because a temptation to keep gambling makes them continue to gamble. They will see more promotions coming up to make them curious. Curiosity triggers them to try to get it by depositing more money. They are not aware and continue to play gambling as usual, but all that exists is that they experience defeats that can even exceed their budget or limits. In addition, the desire to repeat gambling games will pull them deeper into gambling, and eventually, they will become addicted to gambling.

The key is to know when to stop, and for some people to know to never start.

The painful moment is when you have to stop because you don't have more money. And that can be a huge problem for many people, unfortunately.

If we don't take time to regulate gambling then it will one day turn to our own personal regulations in which it will control us and by then we would be left with nothing than to lay compliance to every dictates it give when we are gambling, but before this could have happened, there are necessary steps expected of us to take as well in controlling how addicted we are in gambling, because addiction is no longer a fun but a bad habbit.
1435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your rate in betting base on odds alone? on: June 28, 2023, 04:46:11 AM

I'm hoping to make more BTC so the more bets from now on the more chances of winning. I think that's what I'm going to do now before the bull run takes full speed.
Regardless of which game. To me, I bet on Soccer but I seem to have lost every day. How often do you win in Soccer games if you just bet based on odds by picking a team with 1.50 and 1.70?

On a normal way everyone gambling will want games or sports with odds that are given because the higher the odds the better the increased chances of winning big, many people will have to consider the odds especially when they are on the target to win a huge amount, but eventually people still don't understand that the more the odds is far it's likely come as expected, odds can deceives sometimes.
1436  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War and conflict on earth will never end on: June 27, 2023, 07:05:48 PM
As long as money is involved and greed for resources persists, there will be no end to war. Wars have been a part of human history. However, progress has been made in promoting peace, resolving conflicts, and fostering international cooperation. While it is difficult to predict the future with certainty, and even though the path is challenging and requires efforts from the global community, let's remain hopeful that one day we will see peace.

I like the mention that you made regarding money and greed, if we are to give a well consideration on them both we may definitely arrived at seing them as part of the reasons that orchestrated the incidence of war among the people who were found with this kind of selfish interest under the rule of government or the governments themselves, they can never be satisfied no matter how harder you press on with them all because they were found to be greedy with love of money in them.
1437  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Enlighten people about Cryptocurrency. on: June 27, 2023, 06:57:58 PM
I've found out that many people are willing to know about bitcoin and other Cyptocurrencies but are scared to engage in it due to fear of the unknown or lack of lack of trust for it.

This has always been the usual experience when you are having encounter with people like this who are just hearing bitcoin or cryptocurrency for the first time, you will find it difficult to teach them, convince them and i don't always blame them as well because everyone is trying their best to avoid any reoccurrence of being a victim of digital technology scam or cyber crime as they so called it.

I created this post because I know cryptocurrency is vastly gaining audience around the world but there are many left behind who doesn't have idea about it, most of them due to ignorance have been scammed on wrong investments by bad actors, this persons can be anyone, your friend, uncle or even closer family members so it's our duty to teach  them about cryptocurrency to avoid the risk of falling for bad actors.

Despite how harder we try as much as possible in teaching or making bitcoin awareness, those that will join will accept and those that won't join will never take the offer or opportunity in it because of their unbelieve, maybe later they may realize and willingly try to learn when they would have missed alot already, just know this that you can't force everyone to bitcoin or cryptocurrency.
1438  Other / Politics & Society / Re: THE ANT vs THE HUMANS BAIN on: June 27, 2023, 06:48:26 PM
I have posed down to study the ANTs and this makes a lot of sense, the ant can never make excuses and continue with the business of the day and getting it done, and also they do their work and sometimes they do not need Captain they are also disciplined and self-starters. If I could understand them better they have taught us the necessary to plan and look ahead for the future, more I can say about them is that they always work as a team and also store their nourishment during the season of abundance so that they can have a large portion in the time of scarcity they also have planned experience strategies of how to rest and to prevent burnout.
what are your thoughts on this......
Do you think that people in the nation will be able to live their lifestyle like this

If there's one thing to ever learn about the ant is to know about their coordination, formation and how they lived together in a colony, they are very supportive, they work together and have the best organization in terms of division of labor, but why are we so called human can't make use of the best ability we have in possession to make life more beautiful and peaceful for our living despite we are called the higher animals.
1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TrumpCoin - Making Crypto Great Again! on: June 27, 2023, 06:41:59 PM
I can remember vividly about few days now when someone created a thread on this same discussion on Trump's coin and we don't really have the full confidence that they are truly coming from the presidential candidate official end or people are using such to gain massive attention or possibly scam unscrupulous users very desperate to invest on alts, all i have to say is for the people intending to invest on alts to make a thorough research before investing because scam rate is fast increasing.
1440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About altcoins that are released in a bearish market condition on: June 27, 2023, 06:31:21 PM
Is it right to call a project shit coin when it's been released in a bear market and the value keeps going down,  isn't it expected to go down because it was released in a bear market?

You cannot call such project as a shit project and if you're more conversant with the network in cryptocurrency, you will discover that's the best time to set in for those kind of coins and invested in them, if you have make your research well about the developers and found out the required standard needed for you to invest on their project, then do well to buy the dip and expect the market to rise anytime in the nearest future.
