Gave you a merit to enable your account from posting images. However, you need to do some hardwork in making quality posts to get into "Jr. Member" rank.

Quote
Q: I can't post / embed an image and I'm a newbie. Why?
A: Embedded images have been disabled for newbies due to abuse (see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1172918.0). You'll be able to post images when you become Jr. Member or if you pay a small fee. See more: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104.0.

Moreover, since you have mentioned that you can design some graphics, why don't you do it yourself in making your ANN thead more pleasing to everyone? But if you can't, you can pay other people here to design some graphics for you.

Tip: If ever that you have decided to make a graphic on your own, make sure that the width in pixel is close to the dimensions needed in the forum.
1442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New and emerging Cryptocurrencies? on: February 11, 2022, 03:02:09 PM
Follow developers and venture capitalist funds as they mostly announce investments in new projects. You're just going to get a lot of unfiltered crap if you're just going to go through the last pages of CoinMarketCap or those "listing sites".
Can I get a few of those venture capitalists and developers that you follow? I followed few developers in bitcoin but they are all posting similar technical stuff where majority of them is difficult to understand. And I assume you are pertaining to Twitter, no?
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: February 11, 2022, 01:47:33 PM
@gantez

Answering "when to sell" or "when to exit a trade" have a variety of answers that only your strategies can help you answer it. I highly suggest you to read a the wiki of this subreddit[1] and watch some of CryptoCred's youtube videos[2]. These resources can help you find a reason when to exit depending on the T.A and Trade Management.

Heya!!

With all these whitelisting event that's happening everywhere in cryptospace especially here in Rollbit! Can someone explain me how this referral works in discord server? I mean do you just give the link of the server to other people who uses discord (e.g., friends, random cryptohead) and magically earn a referred user under your account?

Also, with regards to being active, do you mean that you are constantly chatting on the server to get some experience for your account? Aren't you guys run out of words? Answers would be much appreciated!
1445  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: February 11, 2022, 12:37:27 PM
I was curious I can only get OWL tokens by buying it? or can I get it as long as I keep wagering from time to time?
As far as I know, you can only get their free $OWL token by exhanging other alts/token on Pancakeswap[1] and by participating on the ongoing Signature Campaign[2] here in bitcointalk. I'm not sure, though, because I can't seem to find their FAQ on their website, and the content about $OWL tokens in their documentation only covers a few aspects of tokenomics.

After a full month CryptoCred uploaded another video in his youtube channel!

I think this is a facelift from his videos that tackles market structure.

On the other hand, reddit community r/RealDayTrading have now their own youtube channel.

For a curated list of gambling sites. Here are my go-to resources. They also have bitcointall thread if you to ask some specific questions about their listings and I am certain that they are all active.

- https://www.btcgosu.com/ thread
- https://gamblingbro.com/ thread

The KYC and Withdrawal guide have already been mentioned, use that to cross reference when choosing your platform to avoid any issues especially in terms of withdrawals and accessibility.

[...snip]
So far I am satisfied with the results about crypto information I'm getting on here than other and before you disbelief you should try it out yourself.
Just to add, if ever that your are not aware of the forum's search settings[1], you can take a look at the thread below for you to maximize its use.

Also, reddit and quora is pretty handy especially in terms of crypto related searches. I often use reddit, for example, to search for the ELI5 (Explain to me like I'm five year old) definition of crypto related technical concept -- just a tip.

1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Painting is now NFT on: February 08, 2022, 02:09:19 PM
If a regular selfies is sold thousand of dollars then why this can't? If an abstract painting (which a lot of people doesn't know the meaning behind an art that doesn't look like the artist didn't put an effort on it) is sold thousands of dollars, then why this can't?
That selfie has been sold to millions because he pioneered the NFT space for launching/ minting the first-ever NFT selfie. It was sold for hundreds of millions of dollars because everyone thought it was a ridiculous idea, and no one expected to see a selfie being auctioned off in the NFT marketplace where majority of the listed asset there is a randomly generated pixel/artwork.

And comparing the marketability of this artwork to that selfie is a ridiculous idea.

If I were to suggest, instead of uploading it as a video, OP should take a picture with a better angle of the artwork, so that people could see more detail of his traditional painting. Because honestly, it's unprofessional to post it on the internet without making the artwork look presentable.

And yeah put whatever price you want that makes you happy! After all it's your artwork. Goodluck!
1450  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to start in cryptocurrency (and live to talk about it) on: February 07, 2022, 04:23:25 PM
It's true that I've been a TPB "customer", probably since 2007 or 2008 (don't remember), and never had an issue. But it's also true that I run Linux (which, while not perfect, it's a huge difference, security wise, from Windows), and it's also true that, for  some reason, (I don't know, call it dumb luck) I haven't touched TPB at all since having my BTC. Thanks for the advice, it's greatly appreciated.
Just to add, if your main concern is to download resources such as cryptocurrency books, trading courses or any other crypto learning materials, then I think you should be sticking with youtube[1] and legally distributed crypto ebooks which can be found in github[2] and to well-known bitcoin enthusiast websites[3].

[1] https://www.youtube.com/c/CryptoCred
[2] https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook
[3] https://www.lopp.net/bitcoin-information.html

Those are just my go-to resources; it wouldn't hurt if I shared them with you so that it can help you realize you have all the resources you need to learn about crypto without exposing yourself from risk of losing your hard earned money/privacy/files. I repeat, if you can manage to protect yourself from these malwares, then it's fine but highly discouraged for people who doesn't know about what they are doing.
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find ICOs worth investing? on: February 07, 2022, 03:49:37 PM
ICOs, as far as I'm aware, are no longer available! It has been replaced by NFT mintings and the NFT bubble, which are sold in the NFT marketplace, where people wait for another idiot to buy an ugly artwork at a higher price. Even if these initial coin offerings (ICOs) exist today, they only play a minor role in the cryptosphere.

But then, if you insist in finding which ICO's are worth investing then I think these resources could help:
- 🌍 Guidelines, how to spot a scam ICO & report effectively. ✔

The concept of spotting a scam ICO is almost the same for finding NFT's though.
1452  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of most reputable gambling operators in 2022 on: February 07, 2022, 03:25:10 PM
Collision of creditable gambling operators on the forum
Collission? Do you mean a collection or a list of trustworthy cryptocurrency gambling services? There are a number of threads that have previously discussed this topic, and some of them have already been locked.

There is also btcgosu and gambling bro that carefully filters all the existing gambling services.

I've had the same problem with the merit count before but there is an easy fix regarding that. You'll just need to command the bot using:

Code:
/setMerit <insert the current merit count>
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How can a cryptocurrency project be included in coinmarketcap trends? on: February 07, 2022, 07:02:47 AM
For your coin to be eligible for listing, Coinmarketcap has provided an information on their listing requirements[1] and the methodology[2] they use that can be found on their website.

The problem with CMC is that I'm often hearing rumors about their bias listing, which leads to people switching to other cryptocurrency ticker sites such as Coingecko or LiveCoinWatch. I am not sure though, that is just my first impression about CMC when people are talking about it back in the days.

1456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New here, GAS FEES- what is the most economical way to move assets around. on: February 06, 2022, 04:05:29 PM
@jerry0

If you are talking about transferring your asset from your ETH wallet to Binance, then the recommended base fee is about 0.006 ETH or $18.00[1] per transfer as of this writing. If you are asking about the withdrawal fee in Binance, for ERC-20 transfer, it can cost you a fixed 0.00625 ETH per transaction[2].

So, since I didn’t have $10 to spare (nor a way to spare them), I went to The Pirate Bay. Got my very first cryptocurrency course, and started watching it.
I strongly advise you to avoid downloading content from PirateBay; while it may appear that you are not paying ten dollars, you are putting your device's security at risk, which makes it a more serious problem in the long run, especially now that you are in cryptospace, where virus/malicious content is one of the main reasons why people are losing a lot of money. Well, if you know how you can protect yourself then I don't think that would be a problem because I see that you are a fan of using PirateBay.
1458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I see NFTs sent to my TRUST wallet inside Solflare wallet? on: February 04, 2022, 07:37:53 AM
Hi, I did it and the NFTs are there. I was relieved. Should I always uninstall the chrome extension when not in use? Thank you!
Just to add. I think you should stop using chrome as you main browser especially if you are using it to your daily activities in NFT or anything that is related about crypto especially now that you had a previous hacking issue. Chrome is crawling with paid ads that are either scam or phishing site -- and it is definitely a big spyware.

You'd be better using Firefox with UBlock Origin installed, HTTPS Everywhere and a search engine of DuckDuckGo, it may not help you that much in terms of security but it could certainly help you avoid clicking malicious sites.
1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pegaxy Gaming Thread on: February 04, 2022, 06:56:42 AM
I have definitely heard about the game, but I haven’t really tried it. Just like @sunsilk, I thought that the starting capital is too high for me
You can still capitalize on Pegaxy though without getting involved into the gameplay or buying a fuckin crazy mechanical horse. So, if you can't actually get into the game, the best way is to go ahead and get some of the tokens that are part of the ecosystem, which are $VIS and $PGX. They are similar to SLP and AXS that are used for minting/breeding another NFT assets which kinda drives the demand especially now that DAU for Pegaxy is continuously increasing.

By looking at the chart, there is an increase of around 470% in the last 30 days in $VIS which is pretty high IMO and it can still continue for the next 1-2 months. However, you can only trade this tokens for only a short period of time, milk it and GTFO immediately.
1460  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 03, 2022, 01:04:32 PM
My issue is that the "Recovery code" that they send, doesn't work as it should be. Plus that I can't find any way to communicate with their support and inform them about it, in order to fix it... Undecided
Have you tried it again? I had no problem receiving the recovery code that was emailed to me, and it arrived a few seconds after I confirmed on their website. For my account, I also use tutanota.com as an email address. Perhaps, you can try checking your spam folder....If the email is still missing then it is most likely an issue on their server who are still not processing the traffic.

The customer service appears to be unresponsive, and there are numerous complaints on Twitter.
