1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: Is sub-billion dollar marketcap any indicator of success? 3 days only! on: April 29, 2015, 03:58:43 PM
I agree with futureofbitcoin, it depends on the purpose of the coin. E.g. if I make one for using it let's say as Minecraft in-game currency and many/most servers are using it then it's a great success even if the market cap and the exchange rates are something next to zero on the exchanges. Actually that could be really good if I want to keep it as an affordable cheap in-game currency.
1442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neucoin presale selling like pancakes. Should I buy some or not? on: April 29, 2015, 03:52:08 PM
Jackson Palmer

Didnt he leave Crypto? Or the master shitcoin maker is still milking crypto for fiat

As it seem he didn't. The Neucoin wiki claims that he's working for them as some sort of strategic adviser. Actually because of his experience, hiring him make sense for an altcoin startup.
1443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: could ripple be the new bitcoin and go up in value? on: April 29, 2015, 03:46:45 PM
It can not be the new bitcoin, and it never intended to be. Anyway, banks are like it, so I expect it to slowly gain traction as a money transfer method and go up in value. (But I wouldn't expect such sky-rocketing what we seen from BTC in 2013.)
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The risk of NXT on: April 29, 2015, 12:02:39 PM
The profit of IPO of NXT is great while the risk come with this. Who can  ensure its success? Afterall, the code are written by Java. Though there are many functions which will be realize as said on whitepaper,it is still uncertain that if it can be recognized by others. Though new coins were not so many as now, the number is not small, so hard to avoid good and evil mixed up. Who knows that if NXT is a fraud.

According to my previous experience when coin developers making a big hype and promising fantastic features but they fail to deliver those things, that's a scam, or incompetence in best case. When coin developers doing their job and they keep developing and delivering new features, fixes and addons that's usually not a scam. In the case of NXT we can say that the community keep developing and delivering stuff and as per today technologically NTX is one of the best coins.

Perhaps it's surprising from an immigrant, but UKIP's manifesto outlines the most effective short term solutions.
1446  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donetsk, Kharkov, Lugansk - way to Russia. on: April 29, 2015, 08:48:31 AM
Ukraine is escalating the conflict again:

Ukrainian troops are concentrated along the whole of the front:
http://www.bfm.ru/news/291865

Ukraine also announced the 5th wave of mobilisation (mogilisation/corpsecription)
http://ria.ru/world/20150428/1061470634.html?isasa

It's teeming with American "advisors" in all of the dislocation points of Ukrainian troops, DNR's Ministry of Defence reports:
http://www.vz.ru/news/2015/4/28/742742.html

Ukrainian Soldiers' Mothers Committee has published the documents of the soldiers, who died in Debaltsevo, saying Poroshenko hides the real numbers:
http://tass.ru/mezhdunarodnaya-panorama/1938816

OCSE observers earlier reported about the escalation of hostilities around the site of Donetsk airport.

So the next supply shipment to DNR/LNR is finally on the way. I hope the UAF did the packaging well and the rebels don't have to open a support case with the US because of the broken or damaged goods Smiley.

1448  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Atlantic: Is It Time for Jews to Leave Europe? on: April 28, 2015, 08:37:44 PM
Well, let's be fair here. I recently heard a Christian woman in Indiana said she wouldn't serve a pizza at a gay wedding. To a lot of people, that's way worse than throat-cutting, stoning to death, shooting to death, bombing, massacres and rocket attacks.

So someone who wouldn't serve a pizza at a gay wedding is way worse than a bunch of throat slitting jihadist.
You mate should lay off that pipe... or seek medical advice...

Just to clarify: are you implying that I am a Jew? If so, what led you to this conclusion?

Yes I do. Perhaps because of your signature, or your previous post.
And from your online name and other Significant Evidence I conclude you are actually a talking snail, bred in laboratories of China for testing out Internet Control Methods.

You have the right to do that. If I think that your conclusion isn't right and I care to set it right then I'll inform you about my "real" identity and intentions Smiley.
LOL...

Well, you have to admit, having a name Snail....

No, I can say that it's been hacked, in reality my name is Squirrel, and I have no idea where the 650K went Smiley. Actually I can say everything what I want. One of the blessings of the Internet.
1450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ULTRAcoin Market Value Increase on: April 28, 2015, 02:33:28 PM
Wait.. Let me check.

Edit:  Ok...  Briano, what are you looking at Bittrex for?  UTC at Cryptsy has way more volume.  Check it out https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/UTC_BTC

Silli question. Because of he's pumping it on Bittrex therefore he need buyers to dump there, not on Cryptsy Smiley.
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin Founder Jackson Palmer posted a heart felt video message on why he left crypto on: April 28, 2015, 02:19:52 PM
Did he? As I see he's one of the strategic advisers for NeuCoin http://www.neucoin.org/en/wiki/#advisors.
1452  Economy / Services / Re: Coinomat.com - Signature Campaign! [STARTED] on: April 28, 2015, 01:20:49 PM
Coinomat you have to solve this problem today or i will leave this campaign.

Probably some issues with the new bot. Generally speaking the bot working as I see but it needs some tweaking indeed.
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM COIN? or next big thing? Global Coin Reserve on: April 28, 2015, 12:33:32 PM
- "top philippino taxi company will accept QCR"
- "they have struck a deal with a gold foundry in the UK"
- "They are going to launch with 1000 cash machines which can also be used with bitcoins..."

Details and proof, please? Which taxi company, which gold foundry, what kind of cash machines and where?

- In the "About Us" they are talking about a company but without any company details like registration number, VAT number whatever.
- The scheme looks like a classical pyramid.
- Chairmans and directors with gmail address, plus an other hotmail address as first contact
- They claiming to have a gold deposit in Singapore, but no details and no proof.
- The business plan is a load of BS without anything what really "sounds like a plan"
- They promising a fortune with very little or no work at all if you pay them some money.

Overall it looks too good to be true, and according to the "duck test" (If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.) it looks like a scam.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CFC2]Coffeecoin | This coin is under the RevivalCoinGroup management on: April 28, 2015, 11:15:44 AM
Is this coin still a going concern? Great brand potential!

Well I was thinking on starting an online coffee shop and giving 10% off for those who using CFC2, but without exchanges this isn't a viable plan.
1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CommunityCoin (COMM) | Pure PoS | Original COMM MultiPools Coming Soon on: April 28, 2015, 11:12:24 AM
So we still have some life here. Good news. Technologically COMM is very good coin. If someone could find a good practical use for it that would be a blessing.

COMM could be an excellent tipping coin on a community site.
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you get so mad? It's not like I shot your dog. on: April 28, 2015, 11:08:02 AM
Why do people in the altcoin community take their investments so personally? If someone goes to the ANN thread of almost any coin and asks an honest question that may not make the coin look good, people become hostile. If they go to that thread and express an opposing opinion, they are treated like the Devil himself.

I've never seen such nonsense with any other investment. Most GM stock holders couldn't care less whether I like GM or not. So why are so many altcoin investors so childlike in that regard? What do you think?

I think there are a lot of children roaming around these parts.

Yes.  Big burly libertarian white bros children.

To be honest sometimes I really have the impression that MicroGuy is actually right, and we have big bunch of 14-16 yo guys around here Smiley. Nothing wrong with that, one can not start discovering emerging technologies early enough, but sometimes this can cause issues... Smiley

1459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you waiting for the collapse of the fiat system to trigger BTC adoption? on: April 27, 2015, 10:34:17 AM
Yep, if you think about it this is a non-issue. As soon as fiat collapses all the private security contractors will begin accepting bitcoin as payment. They fight for nothing but money so what else will they do when everybody starts shoveling their fiat into the fireplace to warm their houses? Once the mercenaries realize bitcoin is the only dependable currency the first thing they will do is take over the electricity and communications infrastructures to secure their source of income which will immediately become bitcoin. At that point those who were sensible enough to set aside at least a little bitcoin just in case this scenario unfolds will be the only ones able to guarantee their security when pandemonium breaks out. Everyone else will be at the mercy of the bitcoin holders. This is why it's important that the bitcoin community works diligently to expand the bitcoin community to include as many people as possible, before all this blows up. That is, of course, IF it all blows up. For all I know the fiat system will find a way to perpetuate itself for further centuries. But I'm holding on to at least a little crypto just in case.

Probably traditional stuff like gold, silver, gems would be more popular between those mercs. BTW the fiat system not going to blow up very soon. A gradual degradation is a much more likely scenario.
1460  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Latvia is to create ghettos/concentration camps for its "non-citisens" on: April 27, 2015, 10:13:20 AM
Small countries can be quite a bit paranoid if they have some far bigger and far stronger neighbours. Especially if they have a similar historical background as the Baltic states.
