Just a small point, this simply proves to peope that you won't scam for 0.005 and not that there are members who are completely trustworthy. You statement I'm not going to 'throw away' this account simply highlights the fact that you value the trust on your account at a greater value than 0.005. However it does not prove that one can be trusted for far larger sums (ie 1 mill BTC). Basically what I'm trying to say is that 'trust' is only up to an extent of a certain monetary value - there are extremely few people who wouldn't throw away their morality for huge sums whereas most people would try to look honest when dealing with minute sums. I wont throw away my account like that. I was saying to people like Wendigo that its just a little fun and I wont scam others. I havent so far and I dont intend to. Thats why I dont borrow money, or ask for any. This is one rare occasion where I ask for money (besides some auctions). |

I have made 2 purchases through cryptothrift using their escrow service and the sellers did indeed give what they promised. I personally think its NOT a scam. Think of it like Ebay.
I do not think he is saying this site is a scam. I have purchased and sold multiple items on this site with no problems. The support is pretty good however I do feel the site needs some improvement and the altcoins may be an issue but I only accept bitcoin anyway so doesn't affect me. I am personally glad they allow multiple altcoins to be accepted (although their may be too many litecoin namecoin and bitcoin would be sufficient) I said that is is NOT a scam. |
