I don't think you have to create a new thread to inform about this. Just post in the thread that you mentioned saying that you accept suggestions or critics and then bump it regularly.

Ideally , This this post can be meta topic but I think users of Beginner and Help Board require it more so I posted it at that board.
Currently I am feeling B&H Board is also spam infested  and Iam finding some user are also doing necro posting  in that Board. I do not know if somebody will able to find that post after 24 hours or more so just announced it here.

Not sure currently how many users have B&H and Meta as common and I found meta sections has most witty and intelligent users so there input will be always welcome.

Thanks.
1462  Other / Meta / One pager for newbies on: September 15, 2018, 10:56:59 PM
Hilariousandco suggested that we should send a one pager that we can send to the newbies registering in this forum and this seems to be general consensus of this forum too. I attempted to create a one pager .
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5029674.0

Please feel free to give your suggestion, I want to keep it as a size of one page of word document and incorporating all important points.
1463  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Welcome to the Bitcointalk on: September 15, 2018, 10:38:52 PM
This type of thread already exists as a sticky in this section.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0

And that thread no way will qualify as one pager.
Anaway lot of new and better guides are created and Lauda has not included them. If you look closely you will definitely find the difference in both.

1466  Other / Meta / Very motivated to create account here. on: September 15, 2018, 07:51:20 AM
Few days back I reported a user in LoyceV thread for spamming.
Today I am just checking if the user is banned or not and I found out that user is banned but user created at least 5 more accounts to join this forum.

What a high level of motivation for doing shit posting.

1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY CAMPAIGN ?? on: September 15, 2018, 07:17:13 AM
I want to ask as a newcomer and still a beginner. What do you think about campaigns, but spreadsheets never change or don't update? Please share your experience and suggestions. Thank's.

Do not work with such lazy managers that do not do their job on time. We have some established and reputed campaign manager in this forum ,try to join the campaign by these managers only. I am posting the link below for your reference:

1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: legendary in bounty on: September 15, 2018, 07:12:51 AM
how to find people with the rank of legendary are engaged in bounty, I'd be happy who will help me

Even legendary can shitpost. Users become legendary earlier by farming activites only. If you are serious about your campaign then you should include merit requirement in your campaign. For your reference I can give you the example of below Campaign thread.

1469  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney) - thread on: September 15, 2018, 04:09:07 AM
bitcoin and me are very awesome because i can do all things about bitcoin i can invest and i can have a profit in case of emergency i can have a money and i can buy what i want to buy are daily needs and wants in my daily living i believe that bitcoin will be recover soon as long as i have patience bitcoin is great on this generation all keep believing in the power of bitcoin.

After reading these type of post in that thread, I guess it is better to lock that thread. I have no idea how people post crap like this in some sensible thread like that?  This guy did not have any idea what is profession and contribution of Hal Finney.

My best guess is that thread lies on Bitcoin Discussion Board and spammer are just dominating that Board.
1470  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to know a non-fraud project? on: September 15, 2018, 01:03:15 AM
I joined the bounty of a fraudulent project, and I expect people to help me identify a fraudulent project before I go back into that dump.

There is no 100% way to known whether project is fraud or not so just stay away from all bounties.(This is best help /advice I can give you.)

I do not know but I am smelling a shitposter/account farmer  here, Very first post , OP just telling that OP joined a fraud bounty and hiding the main (+ possibly so many Alts) . There are so many warning /threads created in past few days and OP is still  ignorant . It simply look like OP cannot read anything that do not have bounty to offer.   OP if you decided to read something that do not give any bounty then you can read the below thread.

1471  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why bitcoin and ethereum meltdown ? on: September 15, 2018, 12:30:39 AM

Hello, bitcoin talk users

i am fresher from this stream, i don't understand "why bitcoin and ethereum meltdown"? any one please tell me what is the main resin why daily btc price going down, i have invest in BTC & ETH...... any one please tell me what is the resin, its market fluctuation or  any one control these things...... Huh

Might be our mentality of just holding it and just speculating that it will increase in price. Might be we experiencing a bubble just like Real State Bubble. Might we have got lot of uneducated investor who invested just in speculation without knowing in what they are investing and raising the price for the duration. Might be community at large become more interested in speculation game instead of building some service around it or contributing in some ideas or adding some value to the product .

Pick any one of the reason from above . People are really stupid in my eyes that are just holding without knowing exactly what they are holding.
Let, first get educate ourselves about cryptocurrencies before speculating the price
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty needs KYC to receive reward? on: September 13, 2018, 06:21:50 PM
We should not undergo KYC in name of getting some tokens. It is some kind of personal choice, I do not hesitate  to put my details if I found the site legitimate but I decided to not to go to KYC for the tokens that were worth of $250 at that time in market because i was not comfortable to share my info with them.
1473  Other / Meta / Re: Is this can be reported as Plagiarism on: September 13, 2018, 01:19:49 PM

I think I had already reported before you opened this topic.

I didn't quote the entire thing because I never do when the post is paragraphs long. You can see that in my previous post in LoyceV's thread here. It's unnecessary and just clogs up the thread.

In my view, it's plagiarism. He didn't link to a source, and he provided nothing of additional value. It would be the same as me just copying a comment and writing "Source: r1s2g3" underneath it. I'll also be interested to see if the mods agree with me though.

I am undecided to report for plagiarism so I did not checked LoyceV thread before opening this topic. I checked later that thread but anyways I encountered this type of source quoting earlier also and I need the views of Mods/ Community.
Though I am more inclined to report as plagiarism but general/Mod consensus ask to give a fair warning.

Thanks all for sharing the views.
1474  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any progress Release by bitcoin development Community on: September 12, 2018, 06:55:41 PM
Thanks squatter and vlom.
look like "https://bitcoinbips.org/" is not update for long time as the count already crossed 152 and site still  stucked in 152.

Bitcoin blockchain is decentralized. So how can any developers change or update it?

We are not talking about changing blockchain here, we are here talking about the code pieces/development updates that is reason that you have bitcoin , blockchain and network  etc.
1475  Other / Meta / Re: Is this can be reported as Plagiarism on: September 12, 2018, 06:44:28 PM
User is already reported on LoyceV thread now by "o_e_l_e_o"

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg45588641#msg45588641

I do not know why o_e_l_e_o did not quoted the whole text, which give a hint that is copy pasted from blockchainhub.
Generally I report these article , that are just copy paste from source with OP has nothing to add, and Moderator generally remove also.

I will like to see with time how this case will be handled by Mod.
1476  Other / Meta / Re: What would happen if I changed my name? on: September 12, 2018, 06:29:07 PM
Everyone searches themselves... if someone says they don't then they're lying.

I thought that everybody searches for others (ex, crush, boy/girl nextdoor and so on).
Anyways my search of my username yielded me some interesting twitter profile "https://twitter.com/r1s2g3"

Till now I used to think I have very unique  name but somebody already have this name in twitter from April 2011 beating me up with margin of 6.5 years.
though does not look like that twitter person linked to crypto (at least on that profile).
1477  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Reduce Transferring fees when transfer funds among two exchanges on: September 12, 2018, 06:17:56 PM
Thanks for bringing  this up topic for everybody. I generally used Doge coin for transferring between 2 exchanges to avoid high exchange withdrawal fees of Bitcoins in exchanges. These all are important factor (deposit fees, withdrawal fees , Wallet status of exchange, service support ) when you start trading or buying coins from exchanges.
1478  Other / Meta / Is this can be reported as Plagiarism on: September 12, 2018, 05:03:27 PM

Some body created a post "https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5026914.0"  copied from other site but as a source OP just put a below disclaimer.

source : blockchainhub

My reasoning is that disclaimer does not help me to redirect to original article nor it is giving the direct path of the article. I somewhat assume it as a form of plagiarism, (Non clickable or no direct link.)

What you guys think of it?

1479  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need help solving a dispute between friends. on: September 12, 2018, 04:29:14 PM
Hello guys, I am here addressing the masses with a dispute between two of my friends.
Honestly, I don't know who is right here, thus I hope you can guide me.

So the deal was such that one fo them wanted a certain program developed and he was supposed to pay 2500  usd in ETH for that.  now this happened in Mai or so when eth was around 750 usd. The other guy, the developer, demanded a 2 ETH prepayment which the other one paid - total 1500 usd paid upfront.
now both of them wasted time. the product is still not delivered, but there are some pieces of code.

now the programmer wants to refund the guy who paid him, but eth has dropped quite substantially. and the deal was pegged to USD (remember 2500 usd), but only 2 ETH were paid at that time. today these eth worth well.. much less.

So the question is, should the refund be 2 ETH or the ETH equivalent of 1500 usd?

Thanks.

I do not understand why people are saying to pay back in USD (even you say it is $2500 USD). You will get back in refund that you paid in currency.
If They paid 2 ETH then refund is 2 ETH only. I never say in my practical life that goods I bought for credit card got refunded in Cash or vice versa.

Think other way round , If ETH become 1500 tomorrow, then what do you expect from developer ? just to return 1 ETH and pocket the other one?
Refund will be in the same currency in which payment is made.

I think dispute can occur if developer completed the code and to determine what should be the developer balance payment (2500-1500 (price of ETH then) ) vs (2500-400(price of 2 ETH now).

As far refund is concerned you will refunded for amount that you paid.

1480  Other / Meta / Re: What would happen if I changed my name? on: September 12, 2018, 04:16:33 PM
Just wondering did somebody contacted you to buy that domain or you received some inquiry about some merchandise product. I think name and domain name will remain with the user who registered it first. Unless somebody turned unlucky in this case where France just decided to seize the Domain name without any talks or settlement.
