It is very entertaining story and I liked the city of "Citadel" but why bitcoiners who loves remain to be anonymous will gather in one place ?
Why you need armed guards for security when nobody knows that you own bitcoin. A few loop holes definitely exist in story but I am really waiting how much it will cost in 2025.

If i was smart and had money I would do that, unfortunately from my experience most other crypto enthusiast especially with funds don't trust their wives.
In some cases wives do not think their husband is sane , accumulating the BTC when all world is paying in fiat. They can refuse all the discussion regarding it.  |

Taqiya is far more prevalent than might be imagined, and anyone dealing with Muslims must understand it, or he really can't deal with them. Muslims have different standards of right and wrong when dealing with those in their own faith vs those who are not. This goes across the board, including business, outright lying such as taqiya, also sexual and romantic behavior. IMHO it's more important and useful to raise awareness of these things than focus on the straw man argument posed here of "All / Some Muslims are Terrorsts." I have no idea about this practice and I am surprised that there notion of right and wrong depend upon the faith of the other. But , not all religion forgive lies if it is to save one's life? |

I think it is time to destroy the airdropped sMerits. They were the most abused one. User who earned merits are most logical in distributing them but these free sMerits is getting used in abuse.

I guess main problem goes like that.
In childhood they are sent to Madarsa. Unscientific teaching corrupt their mind and they cannot find any job in real world due to their Madarsa education.
They get recruited as jihadis and they think they are earning while serving the good ( very noble idea) but in reality they are turned into paid mercenaries.

I am also sure that death is faked.
1. If somebody is ill then somebody do not do the long journeys.
2.I did not find anything about the purpose of his visit to India. Why he went to India and with whom?
3. Whom he met in India?
4. Why death certificate is obtained in India instead of bringing the body to Canada and obtaining it there.
I do not find any details that can answer these questions.

Let go to very beginning, shun ICO, STO and IEO. Just launch your coin just like Bitcoin and focus on development. If something is of real value then it definitely get the monetary value. It also raise the confidence that developer is not there for just gathering the quick money.

Having considered my chances of getting accepted by theymos as a merit source for the alternative subsection based on my contribution to the board, I have decided to withdraw my application although I'm not withdrawing my support for the board as I'll always merit deserving post when I get the opportunity to see one on the board. I'm shifting my support to tk808 (he's more qualified to handle the responsibility based on his years of experience). Hopefully he gets appointed soon. Thanks you guys for the positive feedback. Shifting support will not help because 1. New Merit sources rarely get a big bag. 2. Altcoin sections is too big for a person. 3. Might be Theymos is looking for choices.  |

It sounds like the basis for you saying there is unethical behavior is that HostFat is using a referral link in his signature for an exchange you believe is untrustworthy.
I don't think this reaches the point of it being necessary to take forum action.
As a moderator , he/she should distance from all the services that does not look fair. Theymos removed Benson Samuel when hack incident happened on the exchange in which Benson was CEO though there are no evidences/allegations against Benson. |
