642  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Mark Zuckerberg wants no privacy on: March 23, 2019, 03:19:58 PM
It is always the best to read the terms and agreement before entering any platform to avoid these kinds of questions and to be aware of everything. Facebook and any social media platforms generate revenue from marketing, not spying. I'm very sure that you are familiar with the thing called KYC/AML.

There's a big difference between Marketing and Spying. But yes, we are so much free to stop using facebook and delete our accounts to avoid questioning them. I find the crypto startup guy as an envy tech person who couldn't accept that Mark Zuckerberg made facebook
as one of the best social media of all time.

New technology emerged and new system are now available. Facebook/ Google etal are now using new technology that does not exist and unheard of when I accepted their TOS.

Aren't they are supposed to send me TOS every year, telling me how much processing power they have acquired and how much they are tracking my movements.
643  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sweden on track to stop using cash by 2023 on: March 23, 2019, 03:06:38 PM
Give up cash will be very difficult now I don't know the level of they developments in blockchain technology.  2023 is not far from now and I don't think in the next four years any country can adopt blockchain technology or cashless society that will completely keep cash out!
Sweden stopping to use cash is a big battle they needed to win. I do understand that we are all enthusiasts of Cryptocurrency and we want to make this happen. But replacing fiat to cryptocurrency is a really bad idea and I see no chance of cash being gone. Sweden to become a cashless country would affect their economic growth in their early years' adoption as well. I'm so much afraid that they will lose a big amount of asset and revenue by doing it.

I do not see any official statement quoted from Swedish government.
I do not how trusted and reputed that blogger is?
Did any mainstream publication house also echoed the story in same lines?
Most importantly, Not using cash does not means it will be crypto payments , it just mean it will be digital payments only.

Wow, look like government now want record of every cent of yours.
644  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Macron to deploy French army against yellow vest protests on: March 23, 2019, 02:53:25 PM
Sorry I stopped reading here :

"So the French government, lead by Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron"

Did they  corrected the report now because I did not find any reference saying it as Prime Minister.

If French government is thinking of using the force against their own citizens then what will be difference between China's Tiananmen Square and current French government.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: https://www.banknoteworld.com/ is now accepting Bitcoin on: March 23, 2019, 07:44:42 AM
Yup, Adoption is always good and welcome news.
Accepting payment using Bitcoin helps in saving a lots of hurdle and transaction fees if you need to do payment overseas.
646  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for graphic designer and website developer for crypto project. on: March 23, 2019, 07:37:00 AM
Don't forget to check Fiver or Upwork if you're fine paying them with fiat.

If someone doesn't mention compensation, most likely they are not paying.  Smiley

Or in other words they are open to provide their shit coins and token for the job you are going to do.
Willing to hire one instead of two, do not have enough in pocket to pay two people.
647  Other / Meta / Re: Account banned - Limx Dev - Reason is a one-year-old message on: March 23, 2019, 07:14:39 AM

649  Other / Meta / Re: ANALOGY - Let me see who says what - OPEN challenge mods and THEYMOS welcome on: March 23, 2019, 06:55:32 AM
Wake up CH , wake up. No need to dream in Alice and Bob world.
Stop thinking about analogy and hypothetical examples.
Stop thinking about Merits and DT, they all remain in this forum. I do not understand why you create so long post with hypothetical situations?
You will be able to better use your talent if you stop thinking that forum is in problem and you have to rectify it.
650  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [VIDEO] 5 Bad Cryptocurrency Investments on: March 23, 2019, 06:34:59 AM
I guess pump and dump is possible on very low supply shitcoins. Never took part into it but I guess using multiple accounts it is very easy to pump a coin.

Do you know in whole P and D process , pumpers are losing only exchange transaction fees ( because they themselves are buying and selling it to them) . Anyone stupid who purchased that coin at high price instead of them is their real profit.
651  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to watch out for scammers (my tips) on: March 23, 2019, 04:01:47 AM
These are my number one tips for looking out for a newbie scammers.

1. Never ever go first
If the newbie asks you to go first don't because they are looking to get something valuable of you without paying you.

2. Lending section/loans
if the newbie asks you to send you bitcoins without collateral they are trying to trick you and 99% you will get scammed.

3. Newbie not using escrow
If you ask the newbie to use escrow and they say no then you will have a bad deal and chances are you will lose your bitcoins.

4.newbie is promoting a ico or fake bounty
if the newbie is promoting a ico or bounty and hasn't escrowed the funds with a trusted member then this could be a potential scam.

These are my own top 4 tips on newbie scammers or attempted scammers. if you have anymore tips you can reply below and I will try my best to add them on. But for all of you bitcoin members stay safe out there.

Why newbie only,  anybody can scam though probablity that newbie will scam is too high.
Do not let your gaurd down even for higher ranked member and green trusted member. You never know  if you can be the first victim of their scam attempt.
652  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't join spam bounties. Easy money does not help you to (quickly) get rich! on: March 23, 2019, 03:56:42 AM
The worth of token in real life will be zero. By doing spam bounties you are acquiring zero value token and causing large number people to lose millions of dollars. In the end more distrust to crypto and that might cause further depreciation of your crypto assets.

In other words , it is way of self destruction.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling.. way to loss on: March 23, 2019, 03:49:45 AM
I did not understand, how gambling is fastest way to double the cypto? House has always edge.
If gambler is lucky the gambler will be able to do 2x, 3x,5x or 10x of fiat also ( nothing special in tokens for gambling).

Only ease is that crypto provide to do transaction defyingthe boundaries of states and countries and not depending upon banking institution.
654  Other / Meta / Re: How do you know if the account is sold or not after it was advertised for sale? on: March 22, 2019, 06:11:16 PM
Most DT tag the user who is selling the account. But if user is maintaining the deals discreetly then I guess there is no way.
But there are few things that point towards the account sales.

1. User passsword and email changed.
2. Account suddenly become active and start looking for sig campaigns.
3. Either there is no post history or post history is also deleted.
4. change of language

656  Economy / Economics / Re: Latest Bitcoin market trend - Looks like the Bitcoin Whales are losing momentum on: March 21, 2019, 04:56:33 PM
I think current price is motivating the individuals to accumulate more bitcoins as it is attractive entry point. I also think whales already accumulated too much and they might now working/motivating others to acquire now and themselves keeping their balance stable.
It is just my thoughts.
657  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anything been a good hedge against a financial crisis? on: March 21, 2019, 04:23:50 PM
Whether there is economic crisis or not, people will always need the things to complete their basic necessities. I guess in crisis, your source of income will be going to dry up so I guess it is better you have stake on business that is required to fulfill the basic needs of people. (At least that business will not be affected.)
A little house of your own will be a good idea to cut down the expenditures.
658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If BTC Dominance will drop to 40%, what will happen? on: March 21, 2019, 03:23:58 PM
Note : during the last bull run, even shitcoins made a rally also, so it could happen again IMO.

After that bull run, we get the bear run and bunch of people losing interest in crypto.
In short, less the BTC dominance means shitcoin is dominating and we can again expect a start of a bear market and climate of FUD.
