1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum pump on: August 14, 2021, 09:52:58 PM
ETH is continuously pumping for the last few days. Its very good for crypto lover. However, many experts predict the pumping of ETH. After any development of any coin, its price goes up. Similarly, after London Hard Fork, the price of ETH has gone up. I think it will reach $4k.

yes and $4k is an easy price for Ethereum to reach at the moment, especially now that the market is growing and that makes a bull run possible to happen, so the price of Ethereum will increase too and can reach $4k or even the price of Ethereum may increase at least $6k when the next bull run occurs.

$4k will be reached in a few days. If all goes well, $6k will be easily earned by the end of the year. If the upgrade to Ethereum 2.0 is also successful and a new bull run comes, I am sure that even $10k will be easily reached at the beginning of next year.

HUMAN Protocol (HMT)
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/human-protocol
https://cryptorank.io/ico/human-protocol

One of the interesting projects that was traded on Coinlist at $ 0.50 and $ 0.75. Buyers of tokens did not receive a large ROI, but the project seems interesting to me.
Has anyone considered investing in this project?

https://coinlist.co/human
If you look at the chart, there may still be a pump until October, until the 2020 Strategic Sale tokens are unlocked

Why didn't you write why you think this project is interesting? Your announcement looks like you would already invested and promote this project just to build a pump, raise the price and sell it for a profit. I'm not saying that it is, but it would be more fair if you first could provide some information and reasons why this project is interesting to you and might be successful.
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: August 14, 2021, 08:48:58 PM
Well, true sportsmanship was felt by the entire world on the javelin throw event where the gold medal got shared between Barshim of Qatar with Tamperi of Venezuela. This made the entire world understand true sportsmanship and its value. It made people cry out of it. Same as that what's been done here is entirely opposite and such players needs to be give life time ban which needs to be an warning to rest of the players.

LOL.. why repeat the same set of lies again and again?

The gold was shared, because both the athletes were tired and decided against the "jump-off". Al Jazeera and the other Qatari-funded media immediately went ballistic, claiming that the gold given to the Italian athlete was "donated" by the Qatari. The truth is this - Mutaz Essa Barshim and Gianmarco Tamberi had cleared 2.37m, but they failed to clear 2.39m on three occasions. And given how tired they were, I would say either of them had 0% chances of clearing 2.39m, even if a hundred attempts were given. So instead of doing that, they decided to share the gold medal.

The truth doesn't always suit the narrative.
Quite honestly I do not really know why the media is always trying to exaggerate stories when the stories themselves are very endearing, this is a case of two athletes that were so even that even after the whole competition has happened were still tied, to me that speaks a lot about the preparation of both athletes and that is a good enough story so if they decided to not continue with the competition because they were just too tired to me that's fine, there is no reason to adorn the story anymore.

After all, each of them had three attempts, and none of them succeeded. Probably the next ones would also fail. They had the right to make such a decision, and they did so. They both got the gold they deserved.
When it comes to negative statements in the media, in my opinion, this type of controversy is only done to attract more people. In other words - the greater the controversy, the greater the viewership.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anything make you stop gambling on: August 14, 2021, 08:30:59 PM
In the last ten days I have lost $2500 playing casino games. I lost so much mainly because I wanted to make up for my previous losses. Im happy that I stopt playing, because it for sure will end up with much bigger loss. For some it may seem like a small amount, but to me it is a lot. Such a loss will keep me from visiting the casino again for a very long time.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most Bullish Altcoin of the moment on: August 14, 2021, 08:00:04 PM
I think you should pay attention to Metahero - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/metahero/
The project is very innovative and in October it will be presented and promoted at a very important event in Dubai. I think that thanks to this, it has a great potential for further price increases.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How can I reach the more people to token I designed? on: August 09, 2021, 10:35:12 PM
I believe I have a nice token design.
I want to share my token with the world but I don't know how to reach people.

Whitepaper vectitoken.com

The most popular way to promote a token is to make an airdrop or bounty campaign. Just say that if someone writes about your project on their social media, you will give them some tokens. You can also pay in your tokens for writing articles about your project or pay influencers for creating promotional videos about your project on YouTube.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is rising, Is this really the effect of ethereum's London hard fork? on: August 09, 2021, 10:17:45 PM
Ethereum network burning $8,000 a minute after london hard fork and now the effect is underway, ethereum price is now 2,840$, is there any chances that ethereum price will soar up to 5k$ in the next few days from now?
May I know your perspective and suggestion about this guy's?.

I thought no one doubted that the recent Ethereum price increases were due to the successful London fork.
So far the upgrades are going very well and it looks like Ethereum will soon move to the new PoS platform. If this transfer is also successful, I am sure that the ETH price will not only exceed the $5k level, but may even go as high as $10k
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blockchain casino Vs Traditional casino on: August 09, 2021, 09:04:13 PM
I took my time recently to look at the differences between blockchain casinos and the traditional casino, and I decided to make a thread for this discussion here.

Before introducing cryptocurrency gambling on the blockchain, we were used to the traditional online casino.

Both the traditional casino and blockchain casino have some similarities but again with their differences in terms of mode of operations and games availabilities, I will explain one of their differences and other users can add their views in the comment sections so we can help newbies who are new to gambling make the best gambling decisions.

1 Difference in games history and tracing, one of the major differences between blockchain casino games to the traditional casino is the fact that blockchain casino is the engine room for dice games to take off in the gambling industry and granting the best probably fair game, the blockchain technology allows players to check if the game was transparent and all games can be reviewed through regeneration of transaction hashes on the blockchain, But in the traditional casino, only the house can view the game process and players are left at the mercy of the house edge.

You described the main difference and probably the only one between classic and blockchain casino. At least I can see only this one difference.
This is what makes blockchain transparent and fair. There is no cheat, so everything becomes countable and verifiable through blockchain transactions.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pancake Bunny Price on: August 09, 2021, 07:34:10 PM
Almost all the altcoins are recovering these days but Pancake Bunny Token is in a deep dip. From the high around $442, it is now sitting at $12. Can anyone explain why it is dipping so hard? Investors of this project are at a huge loss right now. Will it recover in the future or it's a Game over for this token?

Not all altcoins recover yet. Their prices go up one by one, so it will definitely be time for the Pancake Bunny Token shortly. I am not sure if the price will recover completely, because it is a very big drop, but investors will have a chance to regain at least a part of their investment for sure. However, of course, I wish everyone to get back the whole money and even earn on it.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do poker and sports betting skills correlate? on: August 09, 2021, 07:02:59 PM
Today seeing the results of the Sportsbet.io ⚽ Brazil v Spain prediction game:

I noticed that all the guys in the top 3 were at some point participating in the Bitcointalk Poker Series. Now, it's not that a lot of people were participating there, somewhere around 30 ppl max, so I started wondering is there a correlation.

What are your thoughts on this, guys?

In my opinion, this is a complete coincidence. Of course, extra gaming strategy skills come in handy when betting on sports, but they're two very different types of gambling. To bet on sports you need knowledge that will not be useful at all when playing poker.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need beginner guide in gambling. on: August 07, 2021, 11:27:27 AM
I don't think you need guide in gambling but you need how to manage your money in playing gambling games, don't gamble too much. If you lose, accept that you lose and accept that it's not your lucky day. If you insist of using guide or strategy like martingale or something you will end up losing all your money.

I don't think he ask about the strategy of the game itself, because for that will be time a bit later. He is a complete beginner, he should learn the rules of the games at the beginning, and decide before that what kind of gambling he likes. Sports betting, poker or casino are completely different types of gambling and where he wants to play should be his first decision, because I doubt he would want to try everything at once.  Cheesy
1472  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a Dev to build a Crypto DEX on: August 07, 2021, 02:00:47 AM
Hey

Looking for a dev to develop a Crypto DEX/Exchange. With full KYC and registration.

PM me so i can give full details on the exchange requirements.

Doesn't adding KYC to a DEX defeats it's purpose?

It also seems to me to be mutually exclusive. After all, decentralization is introducing as anonymity. I think the op got it wrong and it's about CEX, or it will be some new form of KYC verification. I wonder what will come of this.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: August 06, 2021, 07:31:22 PM
Javelin throw final will be played in Olympic Games tomorrow. This is our country (Pakistan) last hope to get any medal in this Olympics. We have high hopes for him and wish him best of luck. Lets hope he win a Gold medal for us.  Smiley

When looking at the elimination results of javelin throwers, there are a few who have throw on similar distance as Nadeem. Of course, anything can happen in the final and good luck to the Pakistani representative. However, it seems that the competition will be very strong in tomorrow finals. However, it seems that Vetter is the favorite and it will be hard for anyone to threaten him.
1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the crypto hype over? on: August 06, 2021, 06:57:23 PM
For some reason, Elon Musk stopped tweeting about DOGE and even Bitcoin, making people lose interest in crypto these days. Add to this the China miner ban, and regulatory action against Binance exchange and you'll see why the market hasn't gone up that much within the last 2 months (approximately). Bitcoin is still struggling to reach a new ATH, while ETH doesn't get past $3k per coin.

Sometimes I wonder if the crypto hype is over. "De-Fi" and NFTs are still a big hit, but interest/demand seems to be slowly declining. I'm guessing the next Bitcoin halving will "revive" the hype. But there's no guarantee this will happen since crypto behaves in many strange and bizarre ways.

Do you think the crypto hype is over? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

I think that what has happened in the last two months was needed to casch out those who bought for a short period of time. Now purchases are starting all over again as the market has calmed down. If the negative information you mentioned did not keep the bear market going, then I think we will have no problem reaching the new ATH in a few months. So in my opinion, the hype is not over at all, on the contrary, it is now gaining momentum all over again.
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this another Ethereum season on: August 06, 2021, 06:23:51 PM
As of the time of this thread creation, the Ehtereum price is $2,580, which shows a gain of 3.21%, as the Bitcoin price plumbed to $37 before recovering to above 38k at the moment. This indicates Ehtereum continued to rise in price over the last week when Bitcoin made a $42k stop.
As the Ethereum network prepare for another hard fork on the 5th of this month lots of analyse including myself think that we are heading for another ethereum bull market.

Of course the Ethereum price should go up right now. The fork went smoothly, so this gives us more reasons to be positive about the future. In my opinion, Ethereum is the altcoin with the greatest potential for a big price increase. If the implementation of ETH 2.0 is done without a problem, I am sure that Ethereum has a chance of even $10k in the coming months.
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bulls back? on: August 06, 2021, 05:57:13 PM
yes it does look like that, the bulls are back, but I'm sure the market will not immediately go up drastically, but gradually, slowly it will rise over time, hopefully the crypto market price will touch the new ATH, before the end of the year

In my opinion, the bulls did not go anywhere, so they no need to come back. The declines that took place were a normal correction. This is a very healthy reaction of the market before the next gains. I'm sure ATH will be achieved this year. Hopefully the price will jump high enough to break the magic barrier of $100k.
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: once again the market is trying to break the resistance on: August 06, 2021, 05:42:53 PM
The market base and bitcoin are educating our community on how to hold. That's the way to make profit value. Fud and fake news will be consumed. Just hold on and be strong when things get weak. Bitcoin is helping to increase market awareness. Optimistic 100k for the end of the year. We might break the $42k area soon Kiss

The $42 barrier will be run over like by a train. If we want the Bitcoin price to reach $100k by the end of the year, we should exceed $50k in August. If some government introduces a ban for cryptocurrencies again, it may be difficult, but if the current fud did not start a bear market, the new ATH is a matter of a few weeks.
So far, $43K has been done, though I'm waiting until $45K is broken before we proceed. We can expect Bitcoin to reach 100k by the end of this year more than we can imagine. A dream is one of the most beautiful things we can do, and Bitcoin allows us to trust our dreams. I predict that Bitcoin will reach $50,000 in a week or less.

The mood in the cryptocurrency market is very positive, so I think the results we predict should be achieved without any problems. Of course, unless there are some drastically unpleasant new information for Bitcoin or problems with the fork on Ethereum. Let's keep our fingers crossed that nothing bad happens and that we only watch green charts for the next few months.

Thanks to the successful forks on Ethereum, I think the greatest potential for price increases have ETH. If the next upgrades go as planned, I think ETH will have a good chance to chase down the price of Bitcoin. In my opinin it may be possible within a year or two.
1480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or playing? on: August 05, 2021, 12:34:21 PM
I am sure most of you have played videogames of one short or another and many have noticed that may offer gambling in-game options - I am thinking mostly of Role Games and MMPORGs -  like implementing a casino or some short of fortune game. As an old example, Fallout New Vegas has an in-built game called Caravans, but you can play blackjack, roulette, etc... Newer games that are free to play or cheap to play offer lotteries that award prices such as unique or rare in-game items...

There is currently quite an effort on using these techniques in games that should not be about gambling or chances playing and some people may find undesirable. Is this going too far? What type of effect may this game on underaged players?

As far as I can remember, lottery or even gambling elements appeared in some games. However, I never put too much emphasis on it when I played games. As for whether such elements should appear at all, in my opinion NOT. Children's minds are much more susceptible to addiction and, above all, completely unaware of the dangers. In my opinion, the elements of gambling should not appear at all in games intended for young users.
