1461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most profitable gambling strategies, what are they? on: July 12, 2021, 05:09:02 AM
I think there's no profitable strategy in gambling because if you think about it, no one is able to win in gambling consecutive rows without losing because gambling is designed that way, that it benefits the owner more than the player. I think managing your bankroll is the least that you can do but it's not even a strategy, it's a mitigation of risk.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: July 12, 2021, 04:28:09 AM
Never experienced winning in a lottery the whole time I betting on it. Although most of the time, I'm not really expecting to win. I just like to take a shot as who knows my time will now come to win it.

That Pancakeswap winner is lucky as hitting a lottery there is really difficult providing how many participants joined on it.

Sure someday, I will also experience the same. Smiley
It's hard to win the lottery, it's designed to be difficult to win that's why some people that bet everyday is for a lifetime doesn't even win because of how big the odds of winning. I mean why would they say that you are likely to be strucked by lightning rather than winning the lottery right?
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 12, 2021, 03:11:16 AM
Most commonly that people hook and become gambler is that the bonuses and or a free test on a site, just like having a faucet or a free bet. Marketing strategies like this will always catch the interest of anyone that will join.

And next, it will be followed by the design and the kind of games that there is a chance of winning. For example, the Lottery sometimes would not exist because the chances of winning are very small.
Compensation is one thing but OP is asking for what elements does the game have that makes people hooked in that website. Design isn't that important, I mean yes the right colors and stuff do attract attention but I think it's more than just design, probably the entertainment value.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fighting Game Betting on: July 12, 2021, 02:36:37 AM
Injustice 2 tournaments are boring nowadays, most so called pro players are only playing zoning characters(characters who are using range attacks) and spam their range skills to chip out the damage and I find it boring because no good play comes out of it plus the game becomes stale because the other side either has to be patient and slowly strike or spam the same stuff but both don't have anything good come out of it. I hope that a new meta in Injustice could save the game but given how NRS are making another game, I don't think that they plan to do something about it and let the players figure it themselves.
1465  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC broke through 33,500 USDT on: July 11, 2021, 10:31:18 AM
Ok, so what? This is the 10th time in the last few weeks it has done so, still a really tight range of trading for me between support at 30k and resistance at 40k. We're eating up the second half of 2021 quite fast already so time is running out to get 100k BTC before end of the year but people who're in the industry are still strong with belief so let's see.
It has already been the tenth time this past few months? That's pretty sad but good at the same time because it means that the prices aren't volatile at this point and the prices are stable. I don't think that we are running out of time for 100k this year, there's still six months left for it to happen, hell even just a month is enough time to go to that point, remember when it reach 20k during December in just a month?
1466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Overview of the Market on: July 11, 2021, 09:50:01 AM
I'm not sure about the bull market's coming soon again. Because it doesn't seem like it to me. It seems like it will continue to get stuck between levels you indicated for a long time. By saying a long time, I mean that it could last even until the end of the summer. After that, things may start changing and we may start seeing bullish movements again.
I don't think that bull run was already over in my opinion, yes the prices did go down almost half of the ATH but I don't think that it's not that big of a drop. Hopefully though, we can see some big movement that might push bitcoin to a much higher point than the previous ATH and hopefully it will be by the end of the year.
1467  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do in 2030? on: July 11, 2021, 06:46:14 AM
If I am fortunate enough to accumulate a lot of bitcoin by that time and the price of bitcoin starts going steady at the 7 digit territory in prices, I might have enough money to not work for the rest of my life. I don't really like working too so I will probably have the drive to accumulate as much bitcoin as I can before I can finally sell it out all and enjoy the profits. The pensions aren't going to be delivered quickly to everyone who is retired and are depending on it, we have a neighbor here that doesn't receive the money in exact time so I don't think that we will see a pension collapse because it's slow AF in the first place.
1468  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Reference] Lending board spammers and scammers. on: July 11, 2021, 05:54:36 AM
It's a good move but since most of these users are newbie, they have nothing to lose. They will just create another account and will continue their spamming and try to find the next victim.

Only the experience of a lender can save them.
Even if they repeat, they will still be a newbie, meaning that they wouldn't be successful even if they were to change their account because it's in the rules of the lender to not allow newbies to borrow, the only one who can save them is themselves.
1469  Other / Archival / Re: user Febl self-vouching with alt on: July 10, 2021, 09:58:40 AM
I think the goods board is very full of dishonest people, probably over 80% of the users there are scammers. @colires, how do you guys manage to do business there?
Anyone self vouching using their alt accounts is creating a false impression of their business and should never be trusted. I am supporting the flag and marking the accounts red as well.
Of course it's full because people there are trying to trick everyone into buying their products, I mean we should be acclimated to that because scams and other shady stuffs are unregulated, they even have warnings that say so.
1470  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: About a topic - Lucky did not do it from my laptop on: July 10, 2021, 09:25:08 AM
There's a YouTuber that I watch and he tries this different kinds of phishing scams from emails and he uses 2 layers of virtual machine in his Arch Linux computer to completely protect himself from the attack that might and I think that I have seen this kind of attack before although I am not sure if he was talking to the scammer, probably it was an email sent to him and he tries to track where it originally came from. Next time, you might want to try doing what he did although there's a lot of technical knowledge needed for the utmost safety even in a virtual machine because some trojan can penetrate and bypass the virtual machine.
1471  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hundreds Injured by COVID Vaccines Turn to GoFundMe for Help With Expenses on: July 10, 2021, 08:06:41 AM
I know that it sucks but these people should've been compensated by the government because the government pressuring the vaccine manufacturers to speed up the process when vaccines should be perfected and now with the lack of clinical trial, the people now becomes the guinea pigs for the incomplete vaccine.
1472  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a place to auction domain names for bitcoin? on: July 10, 2021, 07:22:54 AM
Why not try the Auctions board of the forum, I think that you can auction anything there as long as someone is interested and it's not an illegal thing to own or offensive to anyone. But like what everyone says in this thread, you have to get an escrow because scams are prevalent in this forum and it's not regulated although you will know a scammer when you see one.
1473  Economy / Economics / Re: The first rule of investing is saving on: July 10, 2021, 06:21:41 AM
Investment doesn't necessarily have to be in things that offer immediate financial benefits. You could also invest in your education(good education) , or invest in improving your talents. you can then use what you learn to benefit others and earn a living
But most of the investing still needs saving, with education you need money to continue same with improving your talents you need to save money. I think that any investment needs to have some sort of prerequisite of saving so the investing part is going to be headache free.
1474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto for the homeless - 7/9/21 - handed out a ton of pizza - need some help on: July 10, 2021, 04:53:13 AM
These food donation drives have thrived in Reddit for some time and some have posted successful stories; I have personally seen them myself.

If you'd want the cause to gain some traction and local communities to assemble, I advice you to do so in the CryptoCurrency subreddit for to the exposure. You'll thank me later.
Yeah, that's right, going to a subreddit especially the cryptocurrency one, they are supportive there although trolls and toxic people will always be there but I am sure that it's going to be helpful for OP to post it there. Isn't the active users in that subreddit around the 5 digit mark?
1475  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Hiring Axie Infinity Players (scholars) on: July 10, 2021, 04:19:35 AM
Wag tayo masyadong aasa sa Axie lang, dahil hindi natin sigurado kung tatagal tong laro at wala naman tayong makukuhang long-term skills dito. Sideline lang dapat. Smiley
Tingin ko sir tatagal siya kasi maganda yung economy niya and I think next update they will introduce another way to make the economy much healthier, di ko lang alam kung yung theory na Axie Burning is mangyayari talaga or no at tsaka magdadagdag sila ng bagong class. Pero tama ka dapat sideline lang siya dapat but that doesn't mean na chill ka lang, dapat strike the iron while it's hot.
1476  Local / Pamilihan / Re: SEC naglabas ng babala laban sa crypto, crowdfunding at franchising scam on: July 10, 2021, 03:43:36 AM
Bago lang sa akin tong mga to sir, ano ba yung modus operandi nila para kung sakali na may mga kakilala ako is may alam ako tungkol sa mga to, Ponzi or Pyramiding Scheme lang din po ba yung galwan ng mga ito?
1477  Economy / Services / Re: Skype Adult Service for Bitcoin on: July 09, 2021, 02:59:07 PM
You are fine to promote your service here. If I'm correct, I have seen a few more advertisements here with the same service but not sure how much clients they got as the clients never share anything here  Grin Good luck to you.
I really want to see if there's people in this forum that does this service although with the condition that they won't reveal the Username of the client or anything, it's just to see if this service really works. To OP, yes it's alright to advertise here as long as it's not an illegal type of content, it's all good.
1478  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is full of opportunities to come on: July 09, 2021, 02:24:58 PM
That's why you should hodl your bitcoin for a really long time or at the least hodl a part of your portfolio for a long-term so you won't be empty-handed when the prices really did go up, you may have only a small amount of bitcoin by that time but at the least you were never zero.
1479  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term on: July 09, 2021, 01:50:57 PM
Because of it's potential and the faith of many people about cryptocurrencies especially the ones at the top. Plus, some of the cryptocurrency have already proven their worth and that they can withstand FUD and grow in the long-term like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
1480  Economy / Economics / Re: At least it was something great on: July 09, 2021, 01:00:28 PM
You don't have to be remarkable to many and be famous just to say that you did it, any form of help is a remarkable thing even though it's on only small number of people. I don't think that bitcoin is going to go away anytime soon, it's not like people are losing interest with bitcoin and no matter, it is still remarkable thing.
