I think this shouldn't be treated as plagiarism. It looks like a message from the Team, posted by 2 different team members.
The original was posted by dishware, who also created this topic. I think it's obvious he doesn't think Limx Dev plagiarized his work. It looks like a double post from different accounts, I don't think that justifies a ban.
Well I would probably agree, especially if they're on the same team. The potential merit abuse can be looked at separately. |

Users aren't banned for merely scamming, but I banned him for the spam bumping (+ ban evasion), but it's not going to stop him from scamming. He'll just use another account. I agree feedback should be shown to non-registered users but people also should also be doing a lot of research on who they do business with and they certainly shouldn't be sending bitcoins to people they don't trust.

I banned him. He's been warned about the bumps before. He won't be missed. Please qoute the rule where it says " you can't bump a thread using sockpuppets".  You can't create new accounts just to get around a rule. The rule is there to stop this sort of spam and people have been banned for this before. He seems to think he's a mod here too: Huge vouch for Prince of Egift. Purchased 600 Amazon giftcard for $250 through cash app. Received my giftcards within 5 minutes. Will definitely buy again.

Why does it take so long to remove inactive Mods? I understand that it is difficult to add new mods, but an inactive Mod ends up being a risk as well.
As I said, he was removed as a mod a long time ago. Theymos just hasn't removed his name from there and only he can do that. It's the same with the Press board. |

Edit: Maybe hilariousandco can  Can what? I can already moderate that and every other section as a Global. It does need a dedicated mod though, just like several other sections do. MiningBuddy may still be listed there but he hasn't been a mod for quite some time. Theymos just hasn't removed his name from there. |

please are we getting the local board for Nigerian or is it a No. i think we deserve this even if it can be added in the option, local/other language and location will be preferable. at least give us a voice. we can do better there. Nigeria remains the giant of Africa. always on the look out for technology and latest inventions. please give us a voice here. we can communicate to our own understanding just like other. PLEASE Note: ENGLISH is an official language NOT a mother tongue. some of us sucks when writing and speaking. we can do much better in our locals.

You have to be a Senior (or maybe Hero to create a thread in there). Not all local boards need mods either, especially if they're not that active.

I don't see the need for it. I'll just repost what I said in another thread requesting an African board: Local boards are for non-English speaking languages and Africa is a continent with many different languages. We don't need a board for Africa like we don't need one for Europe or Asia. If you want to create one for a specific African language then you can do so in 'other languages' and if it's sufficiently popular then maybe you'll get your own sub eventually.
OK but so many countries in Europe and Asia has there board for example Italy, china, Germany but no African countries not even one is one the list. So I was just speculating if it hard to make one individual African country on the list they can be grouped to regions
I would like a Nigerian board I can volunteer my time if needed. We have a general language called "pidgin enlish" it's quite understood by every one in Nigeria and in so many part of west africa
Those countries all have their own specific language. Nigeria is a mostly English speaking country as far as I'm aware. Again, local boards aren't really for specific regions but actual languages. Well it is more work for the mods, and unless the guy gets an explanation, then he won't know what he did wrng, and may even start a thread on the Meta board.
Hopefully this action may serve as a warning to other newbies. I can always remove it if he contacts me, or if people think it is not a good thing for me to do.
Just report them, and/or instead of leaving him negative trust just send him a friendly PM warning instead. It takes the same amount of effort. |

Even if we deleted accounts or renamed them the internet never forgets. Sure, it sucks if you weren't as educated about privacy when you first signed up but I'd just use that as a learning experience because I'm not sure the policy will change anytime soon. I wouldn't be against allowing users to change their usernames and did suggest it as one of the perks for new donator ranks but they also won't be here anytime soon if ever.
