The thread serves no special purpose other than sharing with the community that I made it possible. Thank all of you guys. I wrote this to influence newbies so that they don't be so hurry to achieve the rank and despite they shouls be joining this forum to acquire knowledge.
I'm locking this thread now.
1482  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help for a newbie on: May 22, 2020, 05:23:07 PM
Anyway I will not encourage to use paper wallet to hold your bitcoin.
I guess you are suggesting him something you must not. You know paper wallet is the best solution for holding bitcoin longterm, way much better than hardware wallet as well if one has enough knowledge and can generate paper wallet in proper way- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5198310.msg52971069#msg52971069
1483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk PSL T20 Pool and discussion. on: May 22, 2020, 05:15:08 PM

I wonder how many cricket players invested in BTCitcoin  Cheesy.
Mmm, sounds good. I had no idea that BTC is so known to such agent. I guess they are not so familiar with BTC; or at least wasn't before. But this made a good promotion for BTC among cricketers, didn't it?
Although Shakib didn't accept any proposal, his way of handling the issue was dishonest. He could have handled this far better with sharing everything to the authority. Hence, the punishment & it's perfect; I guess no one wouldn't do the same in future.
1484  Other / Beginners & Help / Promoted to Hero Member on: May 22, 2020, 05:01:53 PM
On November 26, 2019, I had promoted to Sr Member rank- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5204605.0
&
Now, it's Hero member here. It's more than a year I have joined the forum. I got the required merits for Hero member rank earlier but waiting for enough activity to reach there. On May 20, 2020, I got the activity too.
Thank you all for helping me a lot while I was learning about bitcoin. Without the helping hand of you guys, I would never be able to learn probably.
It was a nice journey so far; other than one incident which ruined my reputation here. I know it's something which I can't get out of at all. Nevertheless, that wouldn't be a barrier to my purpose of joining me here.
To all the newbie who want to rank up-
If you are here to expand your knowledge on bitcoin, crypto, you must not bother about the rank. As LoyceV said,
Merit was introduced to stop the massive spam from account farmers, and I think anyone who isn't a spammer shouldn't be restricted by Merit. This forum (and Bitcoin) needs new real users to grow.
&
If you are here with the sole purpose of earning, I guess you will have a huge hard time ranking up.
Thank everyone, specially Heisenburg_Hunter for the 500th merit on my profile (Although he thought I was lacking of couple of merits for Hero rank while I was lacking of enough activity).
It's fun to be a part of such a forum.
1485  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help for a newbie on: May 22, 2020, 04:30:22 PM
Your private key can be encrypted but your public key doesn't and this has nothing to do sending BTC in the wallet. What does your BTC addy starts with? IIRC, some of the service can't recognise native segwit addresses started with bc1.
I may get you wrong though.
1486  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mixers become more and more popular for the darknet on: May 21, 2020, 03:54:42 PM
Today it's about the darknet, tomorrow we will have a lot of other use cases...
I just saw this post couple of minutes ago- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5225153.msg54469224#msg54469224
No. 1 all-rounder cricketer Shakib Al Hasan was asked to give his bitcoin wallet (indirectly though), he was ask sharing inside information and match fixing. Although, it's quite unusual and I wouldn't support that, it's good that btc is being more popular.
1487  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No matter what you plan to do with your account. I think you should wisely. on: May 20, 2020, 05:18:42 PM
Also, I will appreciate it. If I can see more links posts that can help us as newbie here and also the topic of the post
Although I believe what was above by other users are true, still, I would like to link you LoyceV index thread so that you can read more about forum rules and everything you need to know here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4928968.0
1488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi just moved his coins? on: May 20, 2020, 05:11:03 PM
I see, I was thinking what was the reason behind the faster fall. I have seen this in other thread too and I guess someone initially mined bitcoin has got access of their wallet. Otherwise, they would move back in 2017. Nevertheless, 50 BTC tx mustn't be a reason of panic selling. C'mon bitcoiners.

I don't want to click the link, can you just post the txid or a link to blockchair?
No one linked a blockchair link- https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/cb1440c787d8a46977886405a34da89939e1b04907f567bf182ef27ce53a8d71
 Cheesy
1489  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinbase from February 2009 has just been moved! on: May 20, 2020, 04:47:05 PM
I'm just curious why the hell they need to move BTC mined on just after one month of BTC created while they could do it back in 2017 ATH. Can it be someone just got to recover their wallet? Interesting!
1490  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Child Pays for Parent on: May 18, 2020, 03:52:20 PM
Bumping!
Since we have a lot of pending tx ATM and mempool is congested most of the times, CPFP can be a good way to confirm the unconfirmed tx. For using CPFP, make sure you are using a compatible wallet; more explanation- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5198274.msg52969242#msg52969242
1491  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: WTF on: May 18, 2020, 03:46:14 PM
Or this one compiled by me- Child Pays For Parent

However, I tend to agree with you, ChipMixer should give only confirmed chips to avoid any inconveniences.
Mistakes happens and service providor fix that as much as possible but problem is when a reputed mixer like Chipmixer do such a mistake, it sometimes can't be accepted TBH. Using CPFP solves the problem but why would anyone take another hassle since he is using a paid service. Nevertheless, there's no way but waiting for mempool to be cleared.
1492  Economy / Gambling / Re: GoodLuckMate - Bitcoin Casino Reviews You Can Trust on: May 17, 2020, 04:51:41 PM
Hello, we only publish casinos that are licensed & our writers are professionals who have years of experience working in the industry.
I didn't mean yours one will be just another biased review sites. But to be honest, it's being common here that review sites claim to be honest while most of the times, they are biased while review.
1493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lockdown and eCommerce and increase in online payments = Bitcoin addoption on: May 17, 2020, 03:39:25 PM
Lockedown = Not necessarily mean that it would increase the eCommerce business. I have an small eCommerce business here in my local and it has been slowed down. Moreover, if there's not enough merchant to accept BTC, how would it be increased?
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling hiding, rules ignored. on: May 17, 2020, 03:23:58 PM
I don't know which type of casino you are talking. Here in my location, some small casino and bars are still operating. No one seems to care a lot about the restrictions from govt. You can't restrict the gamblers. They'll find a way to continue gambling.
1495  Economy / Gambling / Re: GoodLuckMate - Bitcoin Casino Reviews You Can Trust on: May 16, 2020, 04:13:24 PM
the 1st thing you did is to buy a fake review and trust for your thread from usuksobad who just woke up after nearly two years which is not cool. Now I doubt the reviews provided by your website and whether you are promoting scam casinos :/

All the casino claims to be probably fair but they are not most of the times and so does the review sites are. They claim to be unbiased while they are way more biased. It has been a common practice in this business.
1496  Economy / Exchanges / Re: “Unknown bitcoin address.” on: May 16, 2020, 04:05:02 PM
Agree, perhaps if they received multiple request/mail regarding that matter then they would consider support SegWit address. They should keep their role on bitcoin adoption as well.
It has been a while we have segwit but most of the services don't tend to implement it sooner. I guess most of the exchanges don't support segwit yet. Sending request or mailing them wouldn't work I guess. They have to have responsibility on this.
1497  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: WTF on: May 16, 2020, 03:31:19 PM
I'm just mad at chipmixer team because it's the second time they gave me unconfirmed chips. Why the hell on earth did you do this?

The network is very congested now. I think you can give them some time. Which fee did they use for the chips?

Relax, chipmixer has  a good reputation and I believe you will have access to your coins in no time.
OP already has said that it's 3 sat/byte, I guess it's too low considering the current mempool. Since ChipMixer is a reputed one in this business, I guess nothing to be worried, however, they shouldn't have give someone such a input in this congested situation.
1498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Platform for playing Teen Patti with BTC on: May 15, 2020, 04:37:37 PM
I think that Texas holdem is the best poker game in the world where you can win a lot if you are patient enough and like to watch video tutorials or tips and tricks about the game.I never heard of Teen patti but the name of the game sounds somewhat funny for a card game.
It's not that easy, man, unless you are a very pro hand. With Texas Holdem, although the loss isn't much, I have lost a few good hands which I never guess before. Either way, it's all about "your day" in my opinion. You can lose a lot too with big cards if it's not your day.
1499  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 1 week until bitcoin pizza day on: May 15, 2020, 04:33:10 PM
Am I the only one who read almost all the replies from the pizza thread? It was a great fun to read the thread.

I don't really think that Bitcoin in this current state should be used for microtransactions. It's just not convenient to buy a cup of coffee with BTC. One can do that, but it's more convenient to buy it for fiat.
I'm not saying that BTC is useless. I just think that there are better projects out there to be used for microtransactions.
Why not Lightning Network for micro transaction? Although there's not enough places to spend BTC with LN ATM, I guess someday, we will be able to pay with LN for a cup of coffee everywhere. Give it some time.

I'm not the judge here nor I would like to judge but with such sob stories, I guess you wouldn't get any kind of cooperation from such a project provided that you are a brand new account. You may try contacting Royse through PM though. Don't take the words personally, man.
