@thepowerfullHRV
$BTC exchanges take your $, but don’t actually have your BTC on their books

Because if this, the BTC price does not reflect actual demand, resulting in a lower BTC price📉

It’s your duty as a #Bitcoin ’er to withdraw coins into cold storage so that price reflects demand📈

Well said, this was the same strategy I used in 2017 and I end up selling 70% of my assets just to sustain myself, many people think that investing in crypto is a short term especially now that we are in a bear market, if you aren't preparing for a long term investors do not even try to invest.

This market can last another one and a half years before we start seeing good returns on investments, we haven't even gotten to the point where everyone will feel frustrated like in march 2020, I believe that we will see such again.

Be prepared.

Exactly right, most people are just too impatient & want instant profits. It doesn’t work like that & it very rarely ever does.

"The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient."
(Warren Buffett)

The above quote applies to bitcoin also.

I’d love to see him win it, after how badly he was treated due to his vaccine status when he was in Australia previously. It would be poetic justice for him to go ahead & win it.

I think I might even put a bet on for him to do it. He’s the type of guy who doesn’t stand any shit. I can see him being super motivated & just going out there & destroying everybody.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: January 06, 2023, 09:01:19 PM
There is only one taking place this evening:

Chelsea vs Manchester City

The game kicked-off at 8pm and 33 minutes in to the game the score is 0-0. If Manchester City win they will be just 5 points behind Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table. Chelsea are currently in 10th place and are exactly 10 points (plus goal difference) behind an automatic Champions League spot. Both teams are desperate for all three points.

Narrow but vital win for Man City. I dunno what the Chelsea goalkeeper was doing for the goal but he seemed to pull his arms away from the cross. He could have stopped the ball reaching Mahres if he extended his arms, very odd.

Chelsea are having a bad season, similar to my beloved LFC.

City cut the gap between themselves & 1st place Arsenal to 5 points now. City will be feeling confident they can reel the Gunners in, they’ve been here & done it all before. FA Cup this weekend though so a break from PL action.

looks like market is just about ready to move.

and by move I mean slowly grind up taking weeks to get to 18800 only to fall back to 16950  Cheesy

Feels that way doesn’t it. Think we’re going to be devoid of any excitement for at least 6-9 months. If somebody offered me a deal for the price to be over $25,000 by the end of 2023 I’d take it.

I think we’ll start to move up nicely in mid 2024. It’s going to be at best mediocre until then though.

With how Manchester United have been picking up points of late, I don't think anybody will be doubting them to put up another solid performance this night and getting those 3points of course. A Rashford anytime goalscorer and Untd to win 2-0  Cool Anyone??

United should win, sometimes in the early FA Cup rounds, managers rotate the squad & rest some of their stars. United have gone strong tonight though, it’s a really top class starting XI.

Everton are in real trouble, they look like a team that may be relegated. Lampard will be hoping a change in competition, away from their troubles in the PL will give them a boost maybe.

I still expect United to win this comfortably though, your 2-0 prediction seems sensible.

I’ll be cheering on Man City tonight against Chelsea. Not that my team LFC have a chance of doing well this season but a defeat for Chelsea would be good for us, due to our own inadequacies.

City are desperate to close the gap on Arsenal & Pep’s team always thrives under pressure so I expect a City win.

I remember seeing an article about some dude who put $5 in every single coin listed on Binance. It was some years ago & I can’t find the article now but he made a lot of money after being patient for a few years.

As it was a while ago I don’t know if this would be a good idea now as there are a lot more shitcoins than there once were.

Brentford vs LFC tonight, in past seasons I’d be really confident about winning but expectations have lowered due to a really bad start. The injuries are piling up & again we didn’t upgrade midfield, very frustrating. I’d shake hands on a top 4 finish right now. A win tonight would be 5 PL wins in a row, top 4 all of a sudden looks possible then.

I’m not at the game so I’ll be in front of the TV.

Come on you Reds!
1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 02, 2023, 09:37:06 AM
I think Brentford vs Liverpool will be a very good game today. But we will have to wait for some time to see this game. After some time the game will start. I think Liverpool will score 2 goals in this game.  There will be victory in the match. Liverpool is a very strong team from Brentford. I will support Liverpool in this game. Liverpool team has many good quality players.

We’ve been conceding goals quite easily, I’m not confident ahead of this game. We were very lucky to beat Leicester. Brentford have caused us problems in the past. I really wish we’d sign a damn midfielder or two.

Results went in our favour over the weekend, Newcastle & Spurs dropping points. A win tonight would be huge & all of a sudden top 4 wouldn’t look unlikely.

I don't think it is weird.I think what you say here is the reality for Manchester City which is 7 points behind after near half of the season has ended, that says a lot for me.They will have it almost impossible in order to win the title during this season if they continue with such game play as that of tonight. They were trying to use only Haaland and this is understandable but when that is not working you have to be creative and all the team should participate in the attacking, they should improvise, all the players have the duty to do so but they did not.I think Arsenal is going to have an easy way to the title this season while other teams have no real chances of fighting for the title, even Newcastle that is not losing from a lot of games they are 9 points behind and by not winning against Leeds they are out of the title fight in my opinion.

Newcastle are definitely out of the title race, I dunno if they were ever really in it. I actually think they will struggle to get top 4. Man Utd, Spurs & Liverpool will finish above them. We are not even half way through the season. Lots of points to play for.

I think you might be getting a bit carried away saying Arsenal will have an easy way to the title dude. It doesn’t work like that. There will be plenty of twists & turns. Arsenal still have to play Man City twice, Liverpool at Anfield. It’s a young Arsenal team with no experience of winning anything, the pressure will come, can they deal with it? City have been here before.

I do think Arsenal are the best team in the country currently but there is a long way to go. I hope they can keep their form up.

According to Reppublica.it Jorginho wants to leave Premier League and he wants to come back to Italy to Napoli.

Knowing the president of Napoli, it will never happen.

Serie A definitely suits him better due to his lack of pace & general poor physicality. I see Chelsea are maybe close to signing Argentinian World Cup winner, Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for a big transfer fee. Maybe Chelsea will look to recoup some of that outlay by selling Jorginho.

Well it was bound to happen that city wouldnt win. Didnt expect them to lose points against everton. But everton parked the bus and Man City was able to take their chances and ended up losing points against them. For everton this was a huge result and they taken a point

Man City don’t look as good as in recent seasons. Haaland scores lots of goals but contributes little else to their team. They are reliant on him & others don’t play as well. They don’t seem as fluid as they were when they played without a proper number 9. Haaland doesn’t press so they almost lose control of the game which is unlike them.
It’s a weird opinion but I think they’re a worse team with Haaland than they were when the goals were spread around & they had pace out wide with the likes of Sterling & Jesus.
