بمأننا بدأنا في الحديث عن عمولات بينانس، ارتأيت أن أقوم بوضع تحديث هنا عوض انشاء موضوع اخر... يبدو أن بينانس (النسخة العاملية و ليس الأمريكية فقط) قد قامت بنزع رسوم التداول (و الابقاء على رسوم السحب) في أغلب ال pairs الخاصة بالبيتكوين و العملات المستقرة/الفيات كما هو مذكور في هذا المقال. لم يذكر المقال تاريخ انتهاء هذا القرار الجديد، لكن ان كان على التخمين، أعتقد أن الأمر سوف يدوم لعدة أشهر (أو اسابيع على الأقل). |

كيف سيعرف البنك انها منصة بيناس؟ حسب ما فهمت فان الاموال تم تحويلها عن طريق الند للند بمعني ان ما سيظهر هو ان حسابا ما قام بايداع مبالغ ضخمة في حسابك ومن ثم انت قمت بارسال مبالغ ضخمة لحسابات اشخاص اخرين دون ان يكون لك نشاط في تلك الدولة. انه التعريف اللطيف لغسيل الاموال.
أنا أدرك ذلك لكن يمكنه استخدام ال order history الذي يظهر في اسم و لقب الشخص الذي تعامل معه، و كذلك طريقة الدفع. هذا فرضا أن للحساب البنكي نفس الاسم المستخدم في بينانس (و الذي بالمناسبة هو الواجب التأكد منه عند كل معاملة) ففي حال استخدامك لل بايبال مثلا، ان كان اسم الشخص الذي أنت بصدد التعامل معه في المنصة ليس هو نفسه الشخص الذي استقبلت منه الأموال، هذه red flag. حتى بينانس تطلب من مستخدميها التأكد من مثل هذه الأمور. |

So for those who don't know, apparently, there's going to be another bitcoin conference in October of this year in Amsterdam.
I understand the idea behind targeting more regions obviously but I just can't find anything about the speakers, the sponsors or the announcements on the official site. So I'm having some doubts about the quality of this event, especially after we had a similar one previously this year... do you think its worth attending? and with the lack of information, do you have any thoughts on what to expect?

أنا أعرف أكثر من شخص من بلدان عربية مختلفة كانو قد قامو بتعريف حساباتهم من دون أي مشاكل.. لكن التعريف لم يتضمن أي من بطاقات التعريف المحلية (حتى و ان كانت بينانس تقبل هذه الوثائق من بعض البلدان) أو وثائق اثبات مصدر الدخل. أنا أتكلم أن جوازات السفر (البيومترية) فقط.

تقريبا هذا ما سيحدث, اما ان تتم اعادة امواله الية او دفع غرامة مقدارها 10 الف درهم.
أنا لست ملما بقوانين الامارات لكن أوليست كل قوانين دول العالم نفسها؟ (أو على الأقل مشابهة لبعضها البعض؟) يعني في حال كانت هنالك مبالغ كبيرة (لا تتطابق مع مدخولك كما ذكرت) تدخل الى حسابك البنكي، سوف يكون البنك مجبرا (من الناحية القانونية) على تبليغ الأمر للسلطات المعنية. لكن في هذه الحالة، و بما أن العملات المشفرة قانونية في الامارات، كيف يمكن أن تكون هنالك غرامة أم مشاكل مع القانون بعد التثبت أن الشخص بالفعل كان قد قام باستقبال الأموال عن طريق شخص من منصة بينانس؟ |

Are these cards really worth buying? I remember that they were buying from a service that service has become not working in many sites, and most sites are now rejecting such cards? Was this problem resolved or the supplier changed?

و عليكم السلام و رحمة الله تعالى و بركاته. هذه الطريقة معروفة للنصب. الشخص الذي أرسل اليك البيتكوين (ايا كان) يريد سرقتك ، لن تتمكن من سحب أموالك حتى و ان قمت بدفع المبلغ للموقع المذكور.
أضف الى ذلك أنه لا توجد معلومات تذكر حول هذا الموقع، و كما أنه تم تسجيل الدومين منذ شهر فقط.

أعتقد حسب معلوماتي أخي أوميغا أن المغرب قام بحظر البيتكوين والعملات المشفرة رسميا منذ عدة سنوات على الرغم من أن المغرب تعد من أكثر الدول العربية والإفريقية حتى التي لديها نشاطات كبيرة في الكريبتو لكن بشكل غير قانوني وغير معلن، لذلك أعتقد أن تنظيم البيتكوين وجعله قانوني في المغرب سيزيد من نشاطات الناس هناك بشكل كبير وخاصة في مجال التعدين. إن حدث هذا وتمت الموافقة رسميا على الخطة بشأن تنظيم البيتكوين والعملات المشفرة سيكون هذا نصرا جديدا للبيتكوين لأن الدول التي حظرته منذ عدة سنوات (ومن بينها المغرب) تجد نفسها مضطرة رغم عنها لإعادة تنظيم البيتكوين وهذا اعتراف ضمني بالطبع بأن البيتكوين لم يعد من الممكن تجاهله.

Will binance.us and other US-registered platforms do this? If true, the platform is legally obligated to do so. Otherwise, it appears to be their way of getting more money or approval from the regulators.

I don't think this has anything to do with Coinbase being U.S based. It's just something they have to comply with since they're serving users from the Netherlands. |

لقد قرأت الخبر أيضاً و يؤكدون أن يقوموا بتخفيض العمولة للعديد من العملات، أعتقد أن منصة بينانص الأمريكية يحاولن الترويج و الإعلان من أجل ضم المزيد من المتداولين الجدد، و على ما أعتقد المستخدمين الأمريكيين يشتغلون أكثر على منصات أخرى و أهمها كوان باس، لهذا أعتقد أننا سنشهد منافسة كبيرة بين المنصات مستقبلاً لضم أكبر عدد ممكن من المستثمرين من خلال إنشاء إعلانات واسعة . أعتقد أن بينانس سوف تفوز بهذا السباق بسبب هذا القرار: “It was not easy saying no to Super Bowl ads, stadium naming rights, large sponsor deals a few months ago, but we did. يعني بينما كانت الشركات الأخرى تصرف مبالغ خيالية (كما سبق لي ذكره في موضوع اخر) على التسويق، قررت بينانس عدم القيام بذلك الأمر و الان يبدو أن ذلك القرار، فتح لها أبوابا لمنافسة المنصات الأمريكية عن طريق خفض العمولات و فتح مناصب شغل جديدة في حين أن المنصات الأخرى بصدد القيام بعكس ذلك تماما. |

You have to understand that Coinbase is a legally registered company and also listed in stock market. So they can't operate in a decentralized manner. They have to follow the rules and regulations of the local markets where they have presence and supports banking transfers.
Exactly this. As I'm pretty sure even Coinbase themselves doesn't like this update because the user experience would be far worse (and take note that Coinbase is well-known because of it's noob-friendliness). According to CoinDesk though, the travel rule is not currently mandated in the Netherlands: Coinbase told customers it is making these changes as "required by local regulations," an apparent reference to the Financial Action Task Force's (FATF) travel rule, which requires crypto service providers to exchange the personal information of the senders and receivers in order to tackle fraud and money laundering.
Currently, however, the travel rule is not mandated in the Netherlands, suggesting that Coinbase is attempting to pre-empt the possibility of this regulatory action.
But you already do this when you withdraw funds for yourself, as long as you buy coins from Coinbase somewhere down the road you will withdraw some funds, and that's the moment when you should really think of getting yourself a brand new wallet.

That's true but at least back then, they had no way of knowing whether the withdrawal address actually belongs to you or to somebody else, not with certainty anyway. Also, this is still one step behind South Korea, where everyone needs to have the outgoing address approved by proving is owned by licensed exchanges that are enforcing KYC.
I knew that there was something going on when 5 Korean exchanges decided to delist LTC after the MWEB upgrade, but I didn't know the regulations were this extreme. Do you have a link where I could read more about this? |

Anyone knows about "ColdCard Mk4"  -snip- I wouldn't label myself as an expert but, here's what I'd personally go with (for bitcoin): Desktop: Electrum Mobile: Blockstream or Samurai wallet (the latter is privacy-focused). As for the HWs, then since I'm not that familiar with the MK4 model, I would go with either Trezor or Ledger. SafePal might be cheap but it's definitely not something you should be using for your life savings (closed source, backed by Binance, bad UX, etc.) |

Is this something that's easy to mitigate though as it looks it? Like if you sent the funds on to yourself and then sent them to the other person afterwards then it'll be harder to detect (it'd cost a few cents more to do that but that's probably worth it).
You can do that but you'll basically be linking your identity to your address and giving them access to all of your future transactions since you'll have to link your Coinbase wallet: In certain cases, we may require you to link a Coinbase Wallet to your main Coinbase account to send crypto assets off the Coinbase platform. This allows us to verify that you control the Coinbase Wallet that is receiving the crypto assets, which is a requirement under Dutch regulations.
