I got 30 of the second batch this past weekend when I got an email about it. I think anyways. LOL. Tongue
1522  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+) on: October 12, 2020, 12:56:38 AM
Complain with qwk for spamming you with merits. Roll Eyes

You are receiving merits so close from each other that the bot is sending the notifications in batch and not updating the cached count between each of them. I'll try adding a delay.

I really don't know why so many are obsessed with merit counts. Is that like REALLY so important to most users on this thing?

TryNinja, you should do a poll about the most used/desired features. I think that would be interesting. Personally, I like/value following topics a lot more etc. Wink
1523  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO]-Crypto Stamps- Collectable Blockchain postage stamps on: October 11, 2020, 11:31:09 PM
Yeah that's how mine looked but 5 apiece. They did arrive faster than I thought - They also cleared customs fairly fast, maybe I was just lucky as we know ISC NY likes to just sit on shit for days lol...

I was more interested in the packing slips - Here is mine for 10 stamps, 5 canceled, 5 not (Apparently, until I open them later lol):

I received the croatia stamps already. Looks like there is no real second market for them as they haven’t inplemented a way to hide the private key. Once you take the stamp out of its plastic bag, which you need to do to check if you have a train/boat/drone..., you get to see the private key right away. It’s also quite a hastle to get the nft out, as you first need to send ether to the address from the stamp in order to be able to get the nft out.

Awesome to know, thanks Bavi, hope you are well. Wink

Edit - I've seen some first day issues on Ebay the other day, but not checked this weekend.

1524  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO]-Crypto Stamps- Collectable Blockchain postage stamps on: October 11, 2020, 11:16:39 PM
I bought 2 and 2 and they came in the same package. The regular ones are in plastic pouches with both sides intact. The cancelled stamps have the one edge of the pouch peeled off. It's an ugly black circle on the cancelled ones. Definitely liked the aesthetics of the red stamp on the unicorns better.

Awesome, thanks. Did your shipping note say 4 stamps total, not like 2 canceled and 2 regulars? Just curious. I guess I'll have to open them and hope I get some cool ones. Wink
1525  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO]-Crypto Stamps- Collectable Blockchain postage stamps on: October 11, 2020, 09:45:19 PM
Yes, I ordered 5 of each, and I was sent what appears to be only 5 in a sealed pack, but I haven't opened it yet to actually see for sure... I assumed they would come in 2 shipments, but the packing slip says 5 canceled and 5 regular....

On second look, the packing slip just says "10 stamps", so I am assuming they did not send me any canceled ones either. Looking closer at the packaging, I definitely have 10 in there too.

I don't see anything on the slip about not sending me the canceled ones, but I suspect they would not seal 10 in a pack that are different. I still would rather not open it. Tongue

That is disgusting! What in the world is happening with you? This guy wants to know how I wipe my ass. Daam bro, what is wrong with you?

He said this and can you believe it - "I don't even know how you know how to wipe your own ass"

Really? Did I ask you that? No, I did not, fool. Roll Eyes

Nothing is wrong with me, you just have no basic reading comprehension skills obviously, so it must really suck to be you.

Have a great day!  Cheesy

I was initially actually trying to help him - so many times people put something up for sale with an generic stock photo that might be incorrect or with no image at all. I made the reference to the couch because with the issues he has from red trust, it would at least be a way we all would know that he actually had the item, as we know that is his couch based on historical posts.

No worries, he's just being a drama queen or something. Something seriously wrong this dude. Just think. How pathetic your life must be when you are essentially blacklisted 3 times from an internet forum, yet still cannot comprehend rules or form any real basic human interaction without being a total asshat.  He's already been banned, and sooner or later it'll happen again.... He's just fucked in the head, I'm sorry. Lol... Tongue

I bought a combination of regular and cancelled (stamped) with the same order. All of them arrived as regular. I inquired about this and told me that since those are sealed (in a transparent pack), they couldn't send them to me as cancelled. If I wanted to be cancelled, then I had to:

"If you want cancelled stamps please sent to us stamps affix on envelope and please note write do you want this letter cancelled with normal or commemorative cancell."

Anyone else had the same issue?

Yes, I ordered 5 of each, and I was sent what appears to be only 5 in a sealed pack, but I haven't opened it yet to actually see for sure... I assumed they would come in 2 shipments, but the packing slip says 5 canceled and 5 regular....

I guess I'll have to crack it to really find out. I can't tell if they are just really thick or have some more packaging around them in the bag.. Huh

It is so confusing.  I don get it. Forget it. I don have time for this. All I wanted to buy a drone stamp. I changed to EN and still do not understand  What they are trying to say on the webpage. I need a translator or someone who is familiar with the website. Even with the payment section, they are confusing so much. 100000 stamps. Do they want to sell or what? Not a customer friendly website. All I  have to select a stamp tier and select a payment but the site page is so confusing. Anyway, they created 100000 stamps - that is way too many.

I don't even know how you know how to wipe your own ass, as you certainly behave like a fucking babboon... Roll Eyes

Fucking idiot - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278980.msg55284541#msg55284541

Haha! I noticed that - technically there were 6 prizes and you were number 7 - but let me take a look tomorrow and I'll dig up a 7th prize!  Wink

Nice and congrats to all! If I had any merit left, this post would get one!

Cheers and thanks TNM! Smiley

In the new setup dialog that pops up automatically with v2 (not accessible via the browser), I no longer see the currency and altcoin fields that I used to encounter.

It's a two step process now. Note the IP under "Connected" during startup (https://youtu.be/-vIwev8wiSc). Navigate to that on phone/laptop/PC to finish setup.

There will be a 2.0 final at some stage with more sensible defaults and perhaps pause on the IP address screen for a bit longer and any other sensible changes people suggest.

Awesome thanks. Wink

I have one that the screen seems to flicker a bit. Any ideas? Tongue

Current high bids

Sorry, I'd bid, but I'm not going to go against this idiot, and I think other people are not interested either, because this dude has been banned from basically every reputable auction or raffle etc... Also, https://i.imgur.com/sIj75Omm.jpg

this might be a stretch but the forum bans for plagiarism right? Does it count if it is in a signature? He puts quite a few random lines in there and I have not seen one yet that was his original thought and he does so without citing the source of the quote. They are all copied from somewhere.

Current one is: Every leaf before it falls must think itself immortal. It is a quote of Marty Rubin.

Yeah that's a stretch, I haven't seen a ban for any kind of sig plagiarism, just neg trust ... For example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439792.0

I think he also stole chronicsky's username and just changed it to Rainbow. Brilliant guy for sure. Roll Eyes
1537  Economy / Reputation / Re: [UPDATED] Ban-evasion by user Alamjob239/Bla2kja2k/acemax/RainbowSky [UPDATED] on: October 05, 2020, 12:01:46 AM
Oh absolutely, I hear you.  I made that statement based on the fact that I don't operate like that and as in someone doing it with a legit bid. Like if yo're on vaca or whatever and don't want to pay attention or can't ..nothing wrong with bidding higher. Only hurts the bidder if it's legit bid.  I have caught tons of ebay users doing it too. I created this album maybe a year ago to expose several members who were doing it for at least 2 years.  but I ended up not really knowing how to use it to expose them and forgot about it until now- https://imgur.com/a/hSJKD2A

I don't have any issues with this at all. I've won plenty of auctions from legit sellers for goods at low prices. But yes, you have plenty of that going on too.

Anyhow, this is bitcointalk, not eBay, so generally I believe it's frowned upon/not trustworthy. It's akin to trolling in a way, in my opinion I guess... Maybe I'll change my mind, I don't know, but it's annoying - at least edit your bid instead?....  It's really quite sad I will have to add this as an auction rule:

"No self-bidding - if you are the high bidder on an item, you cannot change or increase your bid until or unless someone outbids you".
1538  Economy / Reputation / Re: Repeated pollution of Collectibles section by user Alamjob239/RainbowSky - NUTS! on: October 04, 2020, 02:03:48 PM
and he then gave me another one today - all the while trying to get me to sell him single chips from my chip sets...

User Bla2kja2k has been nuked, so if you can find posts that link him to his alamjob or rainbowsky accounts then you can report him for ban evasion. I took a quick look -- he refers to himself in the 3rd person a few times, but I didn't see anything that specifically connects them. Perhaps there's things you guys can connect knowing more about the situation.

Thank you - I have updated the OP with all of his usernames so far. I will come back later to fill in more links. Smiley

Meanwhile, look at what the idiot is doing to this auction! Huh

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5279665.msg55313355#msg55313355

Edit - Auction canceled and restarted here, where he's fucking it all up again.... https://archive.fo/wip/uzMkk

That's not what I'm saying. Is Bla2kja2k your account or not?

Can you answer the question or not? Huh
