1521  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What do you think about trust wallet? on: December 16, 2022, 11:30:13 PM
What they are saying is that Trust wallet is not opensource wallet which could mean Binance may have altered something to the codes that are not known to users. Who knows maybe they put some backdoors to it.
Even though this is a "thing" for a closed source application, i think this is not possible "right now" considering binance is the one behind the continuous development of the wallet.
Well, unless they become like FTX which will be the worst to happen in crypto considering how the market was affected previously, or those shitty exchanges, anyway that's a different topic already.

But of course, being security cautious will keep you away from related danger better safe than never.
Binance (or any similar centralized entity in control of a closed source wallet) doesn't have to be malicious itself, their code could contain backdoors and they could never see it while it is being exploited by hackers, etc. On top of that the other issue with closed source software like this is that they usually rely on a centralized server which means the user has 0 privacy.

When you have opted to put the funds in your personal non-custodial wallet, why not make a step further in selecting an open-source wallet such as an unstoppable wallet and save yourself from any possible issues?

A decentralized non-custodial wallet is nothing but an interface given to you on the blockchain where you can see and control your funds and you are given a 12 or 24 words key to access that wallet. Now, when you use a closed-source wallet, there is always a risk of malicious activity at the backend which no one knows. Suppose we're using trust wallet and someday binance become bankrupt and they exploit that code which they have hiddenly deployed in their wallet. So why take the risk of closed source wallet?

I didn't know it existed unless theymos mentioned it(not a vouch). He was also asking if someone has checked/used the wallet. It doesn't sound to be a vouch/recommendation Well, unstoppable wallet sounds to be a decent one so far for multi coin but personally, I haven't used that wallet as I don't feel it necessary so far.

Not many people knew about unstoppable wallet, as they can't match the marketing which Binance owner CZ can do for trust wallets. You can see the number of trust wallet downloaded are way higher than the number of unstoppable wallet being downloaded and used. This also shows the ignorance of the bitcoin and crypto holders and investors.  Sad

Is there any big bet contest for the World Cup 2022 final match, Argentina vs France on Betnomi?

It is a match only happens every four year and it will be exciting if Betnomians can have special contest in the final match. Time is not much left before the match but any plan for special contest?

What do you mean by the contest for the final match between Argentina and France?

Betnomi is already offering the bet on this match, and you can place the bet there. You can see the odds offered by betnomi for this match.

1523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 14, 2022, 08:50:50 PM
I feel like Morocco wasn't ready enough for this match. In first half they were miserable. If France was bit more lucky scored could just be 3-0 at first 30 minutes. They failed to score more. In second half Morocco got better as they realized they have nothing left to lose. I think they should have used their opportunities to score at least one goal to make match go extra-time. Yet they failed. After second French goal match is pretty much over in my opinion. France may become world cup champion.

This match was too much for the Morocco team and we can't expect a team who reached in the semi final in the fifa world cup for the first time, will defeat the giant France and make it through the final. Morocco should be happy what they have achieved in this world cup and they should be lucky if they win the 3rd position match Croatia. Gettinfg a 3rd position should be their target now as they will not be able to score 2 more golds in the 6 added mins of this Semi final game.

Well, we will see a big final between Argentina and France.  Smiley  I am too happy and excited about this battle. I hope every football fan wants to see this match.
1524  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2022, 05:56:29 PM
The bitcoin price could fall further than yesterday and that is still possible unless, after this, the bitcoin price rebounds and increases rapidly and returns to the $20k level or even more. I am okay with the bitcoin price dropping again because that is another opportunity that I can get to buy bitcoin at a lower price. But if the bitcoin price continues to increase, it is also an advantage for me because I can take the opportunity to sell some bitcoins and make a profit. You don't need to worry if the bitcoin price decreases again because the price will increase again.

Instead of selling the bitcoin if the price of bitcoin increases may not be the right decision. I think you should hold bitcoin if you want to get the maximum benefit.

Regarding the bottom, yes 15800$ could be the bottom but if it is not the bottom, still the bottom will be very near to this price of 15000$. Anyone who is waiting for the bottom should know that he could miss the boat altogether because the price may not fall further, and he will buy in FOMO when he sees that the bitcoin price keeps on rising.
1525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nobel prize for Satoshi. on: December 14, 2022, 03:02:52 PM
I was scouting through internet and i came across this very interesting post on if Satoshi deserve a Nobel prize.
Infact many forums had discussed it
Infact a professor  Bhagwan Chowdhry at the University of California in the United States presented the proposal of Nobel prize for Satoshi stating that technology presented by Satoshi is the most significant development of the 21st Century and will have immense implications in the way finance will be conducted in the future

Personally i believe that Satoshi do deserve nobel prize for his work.
Especially after recent Ukraine crisis when we saw how donations could pour in in bitcoin. We saw how bitcoin can help people in events of war when banks were either closed or had frozen accounts.. People were homeless and short of money. We saw how bitcoin helped war affected people to overcome financial barriers and this showed the true potential of bitcoin and how it can support financial support and financial inclusion of poor and needy.

I believe for such a great contribution to science and humanity Satoshi do deserve a price, even when he is anonymous.

I request members to express their opinion as well.

Bitcoin l must say should be amongst one of the greatest achievements in the world do far. This award and recognition should have come long ago before now but I believe it was as a result of the counter argument and disagreement over the bitcoin policy that resulted to Satoshi not being recognized for his prestigious development. Now if I may ask even if he has been drafted to be given the award, do you think he would come out to showing himself to the world to accepting the honor? Do you not think it might be a bait to get at him?  If truly they had seen the effect and impart of his innovation was it today he invented it to have been recognized?  Award or no award, honour or no honour Satoshi has done more than what the award meant to the world.

The problem here is to whom we can give the award or the Nobel prize ? No one knows who is satoshi and this award cannot be given to any person who is not known.😔

These awards are given by the government and the situation here is that no government is in favor of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin. Therefore, I don't expect that government will ever give Nobel prize for creating bitcoin.
1526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many chickens own BTC. Don't be a chicken, HODL! BE A LION. on: December 14, 2022, 02:30:30 PM
It’s okay because not everyone is as confident in their decision making skills as you may be. Everyone has a different goal so we need to respect that. Those who wish to hold, should continue and those who want to sell, should do as they please.
Fact is if the weak hands dont sell, the whales get nothing to buy at a discount, so as long as there are weak hands there will be whales and the speculative market will continue like usual. There is nothing about being a chicken as long as you are making a profit. I too consider people to have their own opinions and exercise them freely.

Often people are in dire need of money and they have to sell at losses, you have to blame the circumstances for that not a wronged decision. Now there are people who are selling at loss because they are sick of holding after buying at a high, these people have made a mistake in trading at the wrong price, so they learn their lesson.

Retail will never understand how the whales are cheating them and making them sell low and buy high.

As you may have noticed that in the bear market you will always find bad news about bitcoin and crypto. Most of this news are created by the Whales so that the retail investor get panic by hearing these news and sell their holdings of bitcoin. Have you ever thought that when the retailer selling who is actually accumulating and buying bitcoin? For sure it is the whales and big investors who want to buy bitcoin at cheap rates and only with they can bring the price back is to create a panic in the crypto world.
1527  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 2023 on: December 13, 2022, 06:53:40 PM
The market is now in a state of stability, which means that there will be no new financial flows during this year or the coming years, and the economic situation does not indicate more financial flows, which means that we will be in a price range of less than 30k and higher than 10kunless unique changes occur .

It will be impossible to determine the price, but basing your strategy on this plan will be fine.

Bitcoin certainly takes time to rise or recover again, if we look at the previous trend then it takes at least 2 years to be able to pass the previous ATH, during the time waiting then it is better to fill the wallet so that when the price skyrocketed we do not regret because it does not buy when the price is cheap like a current moment and today the price drop again.

Bitcoin will not reach all-time high in 2023. We should keep our expectations to a certain limit as the year 2023 won't be a big market year. We may remain sideways and if there is much volatility, the bitcoin will remain mostly in a range between 20K to 30K. If we are able to close the year over 30K, i think it will be good for the crypto market (after the drama of FTX and the fud of USDT and binance too)
1528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Hands Are Buying on: December 13, 2022, 06:11:37 PM
We not only have strong hands at the moment, maybe also a lot of courage. It takes a lot of patience, the year 2023 and the forecasts do not look good. I hope it will turn out differently, but we have to wait few months. Costs are rising and also the inflation, and how long will it take for it to stop? 2023 will be a year for Diamond hands and I hope in 2024 all different.
I have also heard many predictions that 2023 will be a bad economic year because then interest rates will really come into play and businesses will have even more difficulties. I am not an economist but most of the predictions are very bad and if that happens then the market will continue to suffer and move in a bad way because we are part of the economy too. The weak hand will continue to sell bitcoin and the diamond hand will continue to buy bitcoin, who we will become is for us to decide.

I think 2023 will not be as bad as 2022 is, because FED is likely to pause increase in interest rates or increase will be only 25 basis points in their next meeting, to be held day after tomorrow. The crude oil is also trading around $70 which should further bring down CPI numbers which is already showing declining trend.

The slowdown in economy might continue for two quarters of 2023 but from 3rd quarter, hopefully we will witness beginning of recovery in all financial markets including Bitcoin.

Most of the economic experts are of the point view that 2023 will be the year of economic recession globally. If this is true and if it happens, then i do not think that bitcoin will recover in 2023. I believe that we have not seen the bottom in 2022 and we may see the bottom in the first or second quarter of 2023.

Also, we have never seen how bitcoin reacts to the global recession, so let's see how bitcoin plays its part. Bitcoin is supposed to be a store of value, but we haven't seen it happen in crisis until now.

Previously they had suspected you as multiple account user and blocked your account. What is the new reason for blocking your account? You have posted five transactions link above, all those contain multiple recipients. Therefore, it isn’t easy for the forum member to determine your each deposit.

BTW, I'm wondering why they allowed you to play at Playbetr even though you had verified your identity as a Russian residence! OP isn't active here since last few days. Try to create a scam accusation thread with more evidence and inform Playbetr support team about that. You will get better engagement from the forum members in it.

As per Virtykza , he told that he used to play at Playbetr previously as they had not blocked gamblers from Russia but now since they have blocked the gamblers from Russia, they have blocked his account which contains amount over 0.2 bitcoins which is a big account.
If he is saying right, then it is his right that he gets his money withdrawal and then he may leave the site.

Also, we need to know from when he is playing using VPN ?
1530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why still keep the money on phone? on: December 13, 2022, 04:51:35 PM
Android is one the biggest operating system used by people in the world. Many hacker and cheater try a million way to hack that OS from user to steal his money, many hacker have succeeded and many user lost his money in the wallet.

if vulnerable why people still keep his bitcoin on wallet phone?, are they rich? Why they give his bitcoin to the hacker?

I think Keeping your wallet in an Android phone is risky but it is not that every wallet in Android phone can be hacked by intruders. Most of the time, it is our fault as we do not make the necessary precautions and let hackers hack our phones. People open links from unknown sources, download offline apps from unknown sources, and later complain that their devices got compromised.

Little things can prevent hackers take your money like securing the apps with passwords and locking the phone with strong passwords etc.

Welcome to the forum. interesting to see the commission for the affiliates you offer. Likewise the new member bonus is specifically for forum members. but do forum members also have to meet the deposit requirements in the rules to claim the bonus?
maybe you want to add a free bonus like a faucet in your casino?

Hi, yes forum members must also meet deposit requirements in order to claim bonus.
requirements are:
*Minimum deposit of 50$ to receive bonus to your account.
*Rollover x15 to withdraw bonus.
We are considering different ideas to implement into the website in order to make it more appealing for our users.
A free faucet is definitely on of the consideration. But one that'll probably only be implemented further down the line.

Nice to see that you have started doing steps which may bring more gamblers to your site as people always want to get bonuses etc.

Have you decided anything related to marketing on this forum ? If you see the services section of this forum, you will find many gambling sites offer signature campaigns. If you have budget you can also start your signature campaign on the forum. It will boost up your traffic on your site considerably.

I have been playing sportsbet.io since 1year and i have deposited big amounts like  5000usd and withdrawn like in thousands. But today my account is not able to bet and even not letting to withdrawal. My account is already verified with documents. Here my genuine question is why there is not even live chat in my account .I dont have much funds in my account to be honest there is nothing i could worry but blocking/restricting suddenly is not good if you have any problem you can restrict with by excluding offers like betfair but blocking account is not fair.
@steve hope you can solve and compemsate by providing vip status:)

NO Live chat,Not replying on mail and even here also no one cared.Whats going on i didnt even used any promo ••

You have been playing with big amounts for a year and therefore you should realize that Sportbet.io never scammed you and so they won't do this now. Right? Just be calm and take it easy.

Also can you wait a little as you know that today is a holiday everywhere (Sunday) and you will get a reply probably tomorrow. I am not saying that you case will be resolved in your favor, but i am hopeful you will be informed what went wrong either on your part or on the sportsbet part.

Edit: They have replied to you. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1458034.msg61426791#msg61426791

I deposit 300$ to bet ufc fight. Maxbet were shit 25$ so i refuse. I tried to withdraw the amount i deposited and… withdrawal cancelled hahahaha

Scam shit. Dont create account here

So you think people will listen to you and avoid create the account here. Rather people will just ignore you as you are only accusing the casino without any proper proofs.

@Coinplay, just ignore this user because he already did the same on sportsbet.io. This guy is very persistent on finding loopholes on casino terms.

What will he gain by spreading non-sense about sportsbet and now Coinplay ?
There must be a benefit for him doing this, which i failed to understand.  Huh  Also this is not a loophole on casino term and condition. He needs to wager before he can withdraw as @Bitinity mentioned above.
1534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If someone sends you 10 bitcoin ? on: December 11, 2022, 11:27:57 AM
Well, for the sake of discussion, lets suppose someone sends you 10 bitcoins BTC by mistake. Now will you return them back ?
Morally, yes you should return them back but seeing this big money, greediness also can influence our decision.

So, everyone tells with honesty, if this ever happens in your life, what will you do ? Will you return them or will you change your fortune  Wink

I will return the question to you, Sir, if you were the one who sent 10btc unexpectedly, would you return it? doesn't it seem very tempting because the value of 10btc is too big compared to its current value of more than 170k$ plus.

Since you have returned the question to me as what i will do , here is my response.

Well, I need to be honest here. Right now no one send me 10 bitcoins in my wallet, so i am very clear that i will return that amount back, whether it be sending the money to the sender address or if by any means sender approach me and ask for his funds (which is unlikey to happen). I think i am a honest person  Smiley

But when i have 10 bitcoin in my wallet, i don't know what my reaction will be  Huh
It will need a very big heart to return that money.
Also this is not about 170K$, think if you can keep it for next bull run, it will be 8-10x this money. You can move to any country, live there for the rest of your life without doing anything.

For a moment, close your eyes, think you have got 10 bitcoins,  Ahhh, this is beyond my imagination. I can't tell you honestly what will i do.  Undecided

I ve been betting for 15+ years and used 20+ books but never had generous experience like this one with betnomi
Received 3 free bets 1 x 90 USD and 2 x 30 USD in 4-5 days and not like i am some loosing player i placed 2-3 bets last days
Keep up the good work we all see that they are upgrading and becoming one of the players fav sportsbook!

It seems that are constantly giving good promotions and their free betting for the FIFA world cup is just awesome. 25% cashback on the fifa world cup bet offer is too good and hard to ignore. Don't know if any other site is offering such generous promotions?

Stay away from this scam site. They steal your funds and will extort you. The government of Curacao already have made charges against the owner of this fraud organisation.

Any link which proof that Curocao government is after Betnomi ?
I see that only you are shelling this and no other player reported and talked about this issue in this thread. If the site was a scam why there are so many positive reviews and posts here  Huh
1537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Islamic" -by Economist Bruce Fenton on: December 10, 2022, 08:34:22 PM
"Bitcoin is Islamic "
-Says Economist Bruce Fenton

He recently said these things in a video message.  He also said that Bitcoin is starting to gain acceptance in the Middle East/Gulf region, not just adoption. He claims to see 9-digit BTC investments from the Middle East/Gulf region this year.

I would not relate bitcoin to any religion because bitcoin is a currency, and all currencies are legal in every religion. The only thing that makes a currency illegal is that if you get it by illegal means, doesn't matter if it is fiat / paper currency or bitcoin digital currency.

As far as investment in bitcoin is concerned by the gulf and the middle east is concerned, if it happens believe me it will take bitcoin to a new all time high. The oil producing gulf countries are very rich and if they decide to invest in bitcoin,it will be enormous.
1538  Economy / Gambling / Re: A way to attract new users or a misunderstanding? on: December 10, 2022, 06:46:31 PM
Some casinos will do everything just to attract players despite their deceiving advertisements. I've come across a casino claiming to be web 3.0 but to my surprise after wagering and upon withdrawal, they asked me to submit the KYC requirements which made me lose interest in that casino. I guess that's just their marketing strategy since they all know that most players prefer casinos that won't ask for KYC.

First of all, if a casino is web 3, does it means that it will not ask for KYC  Huh
Anyways i do agree that some casino just uses the hype of the latest technologies and try to gain customers which is very wrong in my opinion. Advertising is the right of casinos but false advertising is something that should be avoided. If any casino is found doing false advertisements, they may gain some gamblers for the time being but later the truth will be revealed, and gamblers will never trust that site.

A casino should focus on the true facts and not make false ads only to gain new users. If gambling sites do like that, people will talk bad about those sites and soon no one will play there.
1539  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: December 10, 2022, 09:08:31 AM
I’m on my 600th plus bet when I encounter consecutive big win that recover my loss and gives me extra profit of 54$ which is greater than the cashback reward so I decided to stop now while in profit rather than still risk playing just to get the amount that I already earned earlier.

Why do you stop when you have wagered like 20% of that. You got decent amount of profit to continue to wager then got another $50 at the end if you complete the wager, aside from that you will also get tickets for the draw from the wager so I would have kept on wagering till I get to $500 wagered mark obviously though because I would have probably lost less than $50 for the sake of getting 5 extra tickets ( or win if Im lucky enough )
He thinks he is in profitable situation now and want to save it rather then losing the money on next wagers which is why he is comfortable in the current win which is big for him.So you see we all have different ways of gambling like you would have gone more to see if you are lucky with extra tickets but he was happy with loss covered and extra profit.

I think he made a sensible decision and did not continue to get more tickets and more profit. It is difficult to make money in gambling and when he knows he is in profit, he decides to quit. Yes, there was a probability that if he wagered more, he could have made more money but there is no surety for this. At least he is happy as he did not end up losing everything as happens with most of gamblers.

We should keep emotions and greediness out of gambling, and he did exactly just that.
This is called sensible and responsible gambling.
1540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: December 09, 2022, 10:39:28 PM
This was a tricky move because gambling streams weren't really banned at all as you can see in the next link:

https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Slots

People keep streaming slots, and the question here is, Then what does really change?

People can't promote casinos or use their affiliate links, and that was the main reason why the main gambling streamers decide to quit twitch.

So you are telling a completely different point of view of this ban. Initially, I thought that gambling streamers were banned from Twitch but as you said that Twitch only stops the usage of affiliate links and streamers themselves quit the streams because they don't find it useful to live stream gambling without mentioning their affiliate links.

Is this the real reason and it also means that for those streamers who do not want to go live on twitch, it's their personal decision and twitch never banned them?

Well, if affiliate links is the only concern here, the streamers can share their telegram handle and on telegram they may share their affiliate links ? I mean there are a lot of indirect ways to capture and direct the audience to the affiliate links so why quit streaming?
