You all be able to place orders as soon the miner boards design is tested and working.
@ the moment we are testing our own design and helping BKK with K1 tests.

For sure board price is connected with size.

And you'll order 1 additional board per 6 planed now . Wink
This is a good thing for us assemblers .
I'm joking , of course

Also, there is some (new) guy, selling chips from batch order placed on April, 22:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=184750.0
There is no evidence jet if he really paid that order. And he is not accepting escrow!
This guy , is makin retail sale of chips. Prices are more expencive
1525  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike - 16 chip ASIC Open Source Board - Preliminary on: June 23, 2013, 01:00:38 PM
Adding additional voltage regulators will help not only for the overclock but for more stable work, lower noise psu, lower temperatures, if you make board 12X12 this will help also about cooling, cause the most produced fans are with this size, now stocking a quallity 10cm fan is hard.
+1
But first let's make it hash Wink

1527  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TechnoBit Eastern Europe, BG Klondike assembly/Платки имонтаж на Авалон чип on: June 23, 2013, 08:27:12 AM
It'll  be possible after the first wave.
In the beginning We'll do assembly with customers chips.
My own chips will be some kind of reserve for any malfunctions and production errors.
So this is possible but after the first batch

K16 is live. All 5 voltage regs appear to be outputting correct voltages. The 32MHz oscillator is outputting 32 Mhz as expected on the scope. I'm about to hook up the laptop and program the PIC. Will report back in a while... but first, dinner.

Kewl, how many ASIC chips you putting on it to test?

none i think
He'll first test the pic firmware and comuniction.
He'll put asics on the board as soon he is confident everything else is working properly
That's right. I want to be sure I can talk to the PIC before I have it talking to the ASICs. Working incrementally makes it much easier to know what part isn't behaving, even if it seems slower. After the PIC is working as well as my tests last week, then I'll add 1 ASIC and see how that responds. When I have some confirmation it's accepting data and finding nonces, then I'll add another to test ASIC chaining. And so on, until I can fill a board to test full power load.

I'll also build 2x K1 soon, maybe tomorrow, as chaoztc may be ready with new code, and use them to test master/slave I2C chaining.
Please keep on K16 it's more important
We'll continue on K1 later today and tonight.
If there are some usefull for K! updates let me know

regarding I2C:

Hardware supported (which is the only possibilty at the slave) I2C is a pain - all states must be handled correctly else I2C will stall.
This means testing & debugging each step on master and slave (which is a lot of work because I have only 1 pickit).

Today I have finished the I2C code, seems to work now very well and without race conditions - fixed them today.
For tomorrow a test with 3 slave pics (currently only 1 during development) is planned.
If everything works - I will send the code to bkkcoins.

we have 10+ delivered here.
DO you need help
