Hi, All

There are some delays as I stated in our newsletter.
There are 7 sending that were returned to us .
mostly nanofuries and will be shipped in the next days again.
But scam?Huh
Give me your ref No and you'll be refunded in 5 min

I already asked for a refund and you said you would try to get someone else to take my place. I ordered because your website said in stock. In your pm to me you said that the components were already ordered and that the pcb was already there. This does not sound like in stock to me. Please refund order XGSIJGGUX.
December batch 2
what refund???

1064  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: December 05, 2013, 06:29:36 AM
@marto74

I see that you sell both fully assembled boards with chips, and an assembly service including board.

Do you sell/ship just the boards and if so how much are just the boards and how difficulty is it to attach the ASIC to the PCB?
Sorry
In order to get bare PCB you'll have to order it with PCB house
1065  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: MR3020 Flashing with Technobit Firmware on: December 05, 2013, 12:57:20 AM
Yes it is.
Change your PC IP to 192.168.0.xxx/24 and try default image router IP at http://192.168.0.99 ☺☺ do not miss http part IE does not like IPS in URLS

Sir you are a saviour  Cheesy

I must have tried every other IP apart from 0.99 (0.254, 0.1, 1.1, 1.99) - for some reason I had it fixed in my mind it was 1.99 Roll Eyes

Now I have (successfully as it turns out!) flashed the factory.bin I am guessing I have to apply the Sysupgrade?

I will have a closer look in the morning as its an early night for me...

Many thanks for spotting my error..

Melb

Do not do sysupgrade now, you might loose hot plug option
Just set the router with your Network and pool data
And happy hashing

2-3 Weeks Delay....

We lost mining power... Only the technobit is here the winner....

Iam very angry! Thats BFL like... What do you do with our money? Buy Bitcoins? Wait 3 Weeks, and hy, you have made 500 Euro * 2,5 .
And you mine with our Hardware in the same time?

Oh man... i hate this... this was my last hardware buy....

Welcome to the world of Bitcoin mining. Perhaps you should buy BTC next time instead of mining equipment. And if you can't afford a 2-3 weeks delay you should stay out of this game. Don't think there was one manufacturer that came through without some delay here or there.
I think if your funds are tied up for more than a month, then it's probably not worth ordering mining hardware. The ASIC manufactures are not keen on retail, most of their chips go to giant mining farms, so retail gets stalled. It's quite sad really bitcoin was designed to be distributed mining, not big farms.

This was not a PRE-ORDER!
In Store, "in stock"  When it is in Stock and they type a delivery in 1/2 of November, why the delay on the orders!?

Thats scam. simply scam. Now 4 Weeks delay.

The only good think is, they dont sell more and more, like bfl.

Oh c'mon now!  You should know why your order is 4 weeks late.  You can bet that they're mining with your orders while BTC is over 1k.   Wink

5 Weeks Delay and there re-open the selling on this suff, and say per newsletter "Our 40 GH/s HEX16B is back in stok fro December Delivery"

Hy WoW in Stock... but wait.... where is my order from NOV?

[TechnoBit] Newsletter of Monday 25 November 2013

Dear, Customers,

As of today our production is back on track.
all orders with shipment schedule before 22 Nov will be shiped out in the next 5-6 days.
Other orders will be shipped by schedule.
Today we shipped out 200 nanofuries and 30 HEX16B
Tommorow We start shiping outstanding S-hash orders

Best Regards: Technobit team

Order for November delivery? Or order taken in NOV for December delivery?
I've 3 orders ranging from 19th-23rd November outstanding but I knew the deal was for December delivery (1st batch).
Would be nice if they arrived before Christmas! Last date for DPD Bulgaria to UK posting is around Dec 13th Marto!
If they don't give the elves overtime, people are not going to see their orders until January, and there will be a lot of angry people on here.  Wink
I'll check this tommorow.

1070  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: December 04, 2013, 08:50:26 AM
Our design is the only one in production with about 50 pieces in the customers hands already, but Avalon team liked drillbit design better.
Now drillbit have to test it quickly to put the chips in action winch is great
1071  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: December 04, 2013, 08:25:27 AM
So the winner in Open source contest is Drillbit .
Happy hashing Dan Smiley

1075  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon2 based miner from Technobit - HEX16A2 on: December 03, 2013, 01:47:52 AM
Excellent review and pictures Smiley
Any ideas on how you can link them together so uses one usb controller? What PSU would be the best ?

Thanks

Glad you liked it Smiley

There is no can-bus support in this revision of the board, so you'll need powered USB hub for more boards.

best
2GOOD

Do not need to be powered anymore.
Only Avalon gen1 based HEX16A requires powered hub.
With HEX16B and A2 you can used passive hub and to power even tp-link router from the boards and hub .
10x to our board designer for the efforts in this direction
1076  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: TechnoBit Eastern Europe, BG HEX16A 7 GH/s/Платки имонтаж на Авалон чип on: December 03, 2013, 12:08:00 AM

Anyne here could help me starting with 16A boards ?? Iīve connected 3 boards to a PSU 300W, when i turn on the PSU they start working and computer detects them well on usb, my problem is with HEXminer, i canīt push the voltage on the chips more than 1V also when i press start i wonīt get any numbers on the program, it seems to be running but i wonīt get hash speed etc etc, no values ... something i must do on router ?? or Huh
Just uncheck Bitfury check button Smiley

You can always choose pick up option and send DHL to collect your sending
1078  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [HALTED] Bitmine CoinCraft 28nm chip distribution (December W50, 42.5BTC/THps) on: November 30, 2013, 09:44:35 AM
I really have no news to share, but want at least to forward Bitmine's information that everything is still on track.
OK so if everything is still on track where is documentation reference design and programming? There should be published for 29 days at lest... Even if chip is on time that will not help us without having boards ready...

EDIT: I would definitely be interested but with BFL experience that I had(change from sample to production chips)... I really don't know with current data what can be done till I see more data...

I am unfortunately only SW-engineer and from my limited understanding of the HW side I got that (among others) the WASP team was in direct contact with Bitmine and clarified remaining issues. With that, IIRC a revised spec was released that the teams found sufficient enough to design with. If that is not the case, please let me know or post open topics here.

As for the reference design, I remember there is a design contest planned, but it seems Bitmine is too busy with development to announce it in time. I will check status and report back.

What I for sure am committing to (and agreed with Bitmine already) is to cover the SW side of this project. Bitmine will be visiting Innosilicon next week and plans are to grant me access to the FPGA-based chip emulator, so I can work on test and mining SW. With that, there will be a cgminer driver available before first boards are assembled.

I started this thread for the DIY chip distribution only, but somehow it was nominated as the official technical support thread for OpenSource designs. While I am fine with acting as proxy between you and the overloaded Bitmine crew, I myself have been busy over the past 4 weeks and therefore limited to care way less than I would have liked. It is not too late yet, therefore please feel free to demand for what is missing and make this a successful community project.
Revised docs ?
