As far as I know there are already many studies showing the positive results from these kind of lotteries. Actually I kind of like the idea. The government only needs to use a certain amount of money to provide such a lottery. The costs are lower then the benefits, because the more people are vaccinated the less some prohibitions have to be introduced.
Doesn't need to do a study to prove that it works, it's our instinct that when we are asked to do something and that we are rewarded for it, that's just human behavior. A lot of businesses that offer something for being vaccinated aren't in it for the altruistic goal, they want to be different from their competition and they want their brands to be known, you might see some of the businesses that offer free things or perks when vaccinated have more customers.

I do play Lucky Nine but not the other two, isn't Pusoy and Pusoy Dos a different card game? I don't know which is which between the two but the variation that I play is the Chinese Poker where there's only 4 players allowed.

Day after Ricardo Salinas Pliego announced that his bank will become the first bank in Mexico to accept Bitcoin, government o Mexico released a news that this will not happen and that Bitcoin is not allowed in Mexico but only their national currency Pezos. Many governments are afraid of Bitcoin and they can ban it in Mexico but this will not stop people from using it, and people in Mexico are not so obedient like in other countries. We may even see separate regions in Mexico having some kind of independence and people joining forces to create their own financial system that can include Bitcoin and crypto.
That's a power move by the Mexican government, they know how to sabotage a celebration. What's going to happen next to it though? I am pretty sure that Bitcoin was shown in a televised news in Mexico so I am pretty sure that the ban is going to make some people in Mexico feel bad about Bitcoin getting banned by their government.

I don't think so, global warming has been a problem for a really long time, it's just that bitcoin was able to have a really cool feat of large consumption of electricity and FUD spreaders just find that it fits their agenda that bitcoin could be a good scapegoat.

Sure. If you are thinking of holding Bitcoin, you're thinking that it'll rise in the long term and you're able to sell it at the correct time. Depends on how good you're with market trends, holding could turn out worse than actively trading it. But the topic is about whether people should sell their Bitcoins or hold it for the long term, NOT trading it. Well, trading and hodling sometimes go hand in hand so I sort of added it into my post. Also most of the replies have sort of tone of trading added in them so I don't really know if you are right or wrong about the inclusion of trading in this forum.

At least a section of the population behaved recklessly during the COVID pandemic. But at the same time, we have to agree that agencies such as the WHO were clueless during the initial phases. They made so many irresponsible statements, which made the impact from the pandemic worse. If air travel from China was banned during the early stages, then the virus wouldn't have spread this fast. But the WHO assured everyone that there is no need to do that. And the biggest irony is that the joker Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus still has his job despite causing so many deaths. That section of people that you were mentioning was enough to cause the problem to further explode look at USA having a gathering during the height of the pandemic, after the event, cases spiked. Another example is India, I forgot the event that a lot of people went too but they were also enough to cause a big spike to the infection. In my country, the problem is that the government is incompetent and they have a delayed, exaggerated and sometimes suppressed counting of the cases so the people gets confused.

I'm not sure whether day trading with Bitcoin is the best. I see some people who I know are day trading with stablecoins like Tether (USDT). And they say that they make a good daily profit if they make the investment with a big amount.
Depends on your experience and knowledge if daytrading can help you make a lot of money, a lot of my friends are trading with USDT too and they seem to be doing well with it. Maybe if you were to choose the right coins to trade with daytrading, it will become profitable.

Too early to say that bitcoin will go to that point anytime soon, remember that there's not a lot of good news that is big enough to really consider that bitcoin will be able to go to 45k anytime. Also, why do people call the price 28k a bottom? I don't get it, it's still higher than that of the last year's price.

Even if they return to south africa but the words they say is not that strong. If they got a death threat oine then they should prove that it's true and if it's physical death threat then it would be hard to prove. This feels like an exit scam by saying that the exchange got hacked but it is them who did it (just saying though I don't have any proof but it sure do feels like it)
It's highly likely that it is an exit scam more than anything else because for all we know, the death threats were a fabricated story so the people that thinks they are scammers will have second thoughts about their accusations. Look at the time of the hack and the time of their disappearance, it all too seem unlikely that it's all just a coincidence.

We should never stop thriving for making our future great. Yes, the pandemic has affected many countries, jobs etc. badly. But if we don't make an effort to make up for the loss and be better, we won't have a bright future.
Isn't that the way how civilization works, you have to continue innovating and living because that's the only way for the species to survive. The problem is that the people or some of the public is pretty stubborn and thinks like they know better than anyone including the scientific community and they cause the virus to spread much worse which prolongs the pandemic.

Each country has its own rules and regulations. Binance operation seems not suitable for some countries (of course about KYC and AML), thus those with special interest will ban them, while some just don't care. It's difficult to operate globally, especially if it involves finance. Anyway, this news seems hot just because of the magnitude of the country, i.e., UK. FYI, the Binance domain has been blocked in my country long time ago.
I think that even though there are some difference in each country's policy, would there be some general that every country should follow in terms of protecting the international companies? Also, I think that Binance could pretty much prevent this kind of thing if they try and lobby with this government from each country, they make billions so it's not like they won't have any worries about this plus not all lobbying needs money to do so.

There are already some impressions on this on whenever we do reach out that certain time of the year which is mostly on last quarter or specifically on December then we do have those kind of beliefs everytime this month of the year approaches as these are the months on where Bitcoin do reach out its ATH and last year it did really make out some significant move on breaking in previous all time high this is why people would really be ending on that kind of impression but asking out if it would make on the same movement as the same of those years then that would be always the main question. No one can predict the future and no one would know on whats ahead so its really hard to determine. No one can predict but we can anticipate the possibility of the things that might happen because it's proven to have already happened. But you are right, no one knows what's up ahead and the only thing that we can do is prepare when it happens, you don't want zero bitcoin when the next big ATH comes right?

We can't be hopeless anyway and yet the market price of Bitcoin still healthy but that gonna be impossible to make another run surpassing $60k within this year. I'm not really thinking negatively but sometimes we have to accept that not all the time the market is in bullish season and the fact that most of the experience we have in the previous years, the bear season will follow next to Bullrun. And I think, we might face that again as we are done with the great season of the market. Bitcoin has done that last minute price pump last year just so you know, I am still believing that it will do a big pump this year but if it doesn't then it can't hurt that much to hodl your bitcoin much longer right? Also what are you talking about regarding done with the great season this year, the prices are still that high so I don't think that we are out of the great season yet.

Since pasok ka naman sa rules, just do it. Wag ka lang mang-iiscam ng ibang user dito sa forum because lahat ng account in the future na ibebenta mo or connected sa flagged account is automatically forfeit na. Post ka nalang sa Marketplace tapos sa Appropriate na child board if you haven't done it yet.

Tayo nga. Daming walang trabaho at mahihilig tumambay sa bahay at magselpon saatin eh. Atlis kahit papaano ito may income; hindi ko nga sigurado gaano ka-sustainable ung economiya ng larong to kaya ayaw ko mag all in at maghire ng madaming scholars. So far magiging 5 palang scholars ko. From what I remember magrerelease ka ng 2 axies and then may bigay na reward or bigay na 1 axie.

I am still optimistic na this year mangyayari yung pagtaas kasi medyo sizeable na din yung nakahodl ko na bitcoin although it's not that life changing pero sana talaga tumaas by the end of the year or around December.

Tsaka tama ka sir dapat consider it as a side job kasi kaya na makuha ang quota within 2 to 3 hours if medyo malayo ka na sa adventure.

Aren't China trying to eliminate competition for their Digital Yuan, that's why they crack down on mining in the country because they want to make sure that Digital Yuan will do good? I don't get how they don't say that they want to do it because they want to reduce carbon contribution, most articles don't even mention it.

I don't think so, they might be making bitcoin a legal tender but they aren't a big country or even have a big city like say Shenzen in China, Tokyo in Japan or Seoul in South Korea. What bitcoin needs to find it's home is to flourish on mega cities like the three that I have mentioned and not just mega city but they also have to be highly technology dependent or technological hub.

This coronavirus period has been really good for the cryptocurrency market actually. Because after getting stuck at home, many people have met this market and learned about cryptocurrencies. And the demand increased at a high rate also. We saw that Bitcoin reached a value over $60k. Ethereum also had an incredible run.
But that run didn't last forever because now the prices are down by half of their respective ATH which means that as the world gets better with handling the pandemic, the more the prices might experience some changes but hopefully when the pandemic is over, the people who have discovered bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will stay on the platform.
