1541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why there is no Standard Marketplace like Amazon with BTC as payment method?? on: May 02, 2020, 10:21:00 PM
I think that it is because Amazon has sellers around the world and therefore there are countries that do not accept Bitcoin, volatility could also be an obstacle and the speed of transactions.
Although we have made significant progress with Bitcoin for Amazon, Bitcoin is still not a convenient means of payment. Because otherwise it could be conquering that niche as one of the main winners of the 2008 recession.
1542  Economy / Economics / Re: How can the corona virus end Faster and economy reopen on: May 02, 2020, 10:06:08 PM
I think that a return to normality as if the Coronavirus had not existed. I think it will not happen, we are seeing it in China that strict hygiene and safety standards are being followed to prevent the virus from infecting people again. The lifestyle we had before will be different now unless we find a cure that will eradicate the virus in all over the planet.
I wish the Coronavirus cure to be like the H1N1 flu or Ebola that was discovered and everything is back to normal.
1543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much crypto do you need ? on: May 02, 2020, 09:30:09 PM
I have created a small portfolio to find out if I can really make a profit with BTCitcoin and cryptocurrencies and it has worked. Because if I invested in my local currency I doubt that I would make any profit due to the high inflation that we are experiencing in my country.
I would say that I would need $ 1000 for my investment, but that amount is less than the stimulus check that the US government offers its citizens.  Cheesy
Of course, that depends on each one, there are countries that their citizens need more money to live fully.
1544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: May 02, 2020, 07:02:37 PM
BTCitcoin ATMs are a symbol of progressive adoption. Because there is a strategy in place that will allow adding more users so that they can learn the uses and benefits of cryptocurrency.
I agree that the correct path to bitcoin adoption is education. On the internet there is a good content of articles related to Bitcoin, wallet, security, and exchanges to start.

If you ask me how I learned about Bitcoin and how I manage my local currency and cryptocurrencies all together. I confess that I learned on my own what in practice shows that learning is easy only people need the desire to undertake the journey.
1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pet shop want to become a bitcoin exchange? on: May 02, 2020, 09:50:40 AM
If you have a Pet shop and decide to accept BTCitcoin this is fine. You could increase your capital with the crypto exchange but in order to have better results you should be a good trader and invest with caution.
About becoming a Bitcoin exchange, I found the following information. I hope it is useful

1546  Economy / Economics / Re: Get ready for more tax. Save your BTC! on: May 02, 2020, 08:05:13 AM
I think it will depend on the economic measures of each nation. Covid19 is impacting differently in each country. What is certain is that we need to recover and return to normal. The crypto community is sure that Bitcoin is its asset and will look for all ways to protect it.

1547  Economy / Economics / Re: The positive impact ~ on: May 02, 2020, 07:52:36 AM
Agree! After the crisis we need to focus more on preserving the environment, health, economy, and we need to be more sustainable.
Work from home has gained relevance just like Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are now more visible and there is more interest in acquiring them as digital assets.
1548  Economy / Economics / Re: harmonization of fiat and crypto on: May 02, 2020, 07:37:19 AM
I think FIAT can support Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies because enough has already been accomplished for banks to consider it as a financial system that is being created and has been supported by the community. The best endorsement is the people who use it and have accepted it and that is when the banks must pay attention to it because there is a well-known dictum that says "The customer is always right".
Regarding FIAT and cryptocurrencies must exist because not everyone can access Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Due to several factors: technological infrastructure, knowledge, among others.
1549  Economy / Economics / Re: Anybody here trying to live bankless (using Bitcoin / cryptocurrencies)? on: May 02, 2020, 07:11:09 AM
I have voted for the option: partially because all my income is based on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies so I need my bank account to pay for my goods and services.
My dream is an App that allows me to make all my payments, keep my crypto portfolio and money in the bank account all in one place.
I have created my mechanism as follows:
1) I receive my payment (Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies)
2) I sell an amount of Bitcoin and the rest for my portfolio.
I choose Platforms like Binance, Cryptoway among others to get FIAT.

I have heard about DeFi and the model I know by reference from some friends in Nigeria is First Kudi App
https://firstkudi.com/

An App where you can manage your bank account and cryptocurrencies. They has also offered its users a prepaid debit card with cryptocurrencies that is accepted in shops.
A solution like this would be perfect for me.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 49 Cryptocurrency Wallet Browser Extensions Found Stealing Private keys on: May 02, 2020, 04:12:42 AM
Google must improve its conditions of use and thorough verification of the developments that wish to host its extensions for users. It's amazing how bad actors take advantage of such a valuable resource to commit their scams.
The malicious extensions were discovered by MyCrypto and PhishFort, which were subsequently reported to Google.

1551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone booked a hotel using bitcoin on: May 02, 2020, 03:30:29 AM
Since January of this year,  Hotel Eurobuilding in Caracas, Venezuela began accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The Hotel has a crypto ATM called Cryptobuyer Pay that will accept payments in cryptos.

I think adoption is underway in some countries. We just need to get out of this crisis to continue moving forward.

1552  Economy / Economics / Re: The true value of money, is it always just a number? on: May 01, 2020, 10:47:00 AM
I only spend the money I can earn. Since I stay within the limit, I know how much the products I buy cost without exceeding my budget
I think that people who don't care about their money limit are not interested in knowing how much the things they buy cost.
1553  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: May 01, 2020, 03:05:37 AM
I have known Bitcoin since 2017. It has allowed me to support my family. I no longer save in banks because inflation in my country does not allow me to save. I have only created a small portfolio of BTC, ETH, and some utility tokens to keep my finances. At the moment my profit margin is 100%. I am satisfied because I have been putting it into practice for almost a year.
1554  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining: Halving will destroy the half of us. on: May 01, 2020, 02:38:39 AM
There has been a lot of speculation regarding Halving 2020.
But to focus on the topic of mining. Hut 8 has stated that revenues and margins have decreased considerably in the last two quarters, with the halving there is the possibility that the mining platforms are not profitable. With a BTCitcoin boost, it could greatly benefit them.

1555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport betting site offering bets on the Covid-19 pandemic. Worst site now. on: April 30, 2020, 11:46:18 PM
It's sad! I searched online for Sports betting sites that have been dedicated to betting related to Covid19. In Russia Betcity and PariMatch and Singapore also as the following articles point out.
I think these gaming sites have exceeded the tolerance limit they could have found something different than gambling I think they have been cruel.

1556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Online Gambling Charity Fundraiser for Covid-19 Donation on: April 30, 2020, 10:34:39 PM
I think that charity has no preference is simply a human action with the sole purpose of helping. We are at a time when we must join efforts to help combat the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Crypto Online Gambling Community could be considered to have human quality and that they can be organized for a noble cause and the advantage that they will contribute with BTCitcoin and demonstrate the usefulness that it has.
1557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 30, 2020, 09:54:35 PM
If the sporting matches are resumed they will have to go through strict controls ranging from tests, games without fans but they are not excepted that the fans wait for them outside the stadiums and the danger of contagion is latent. On the other hand, there is talk of a great economic loss of great concern, it is not easy because health must prevail for all.

1558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: April 30, 2020, 09:24:03 AM
I hope the Covid19 pandemic will pass very soon because life cannot return to normal while we have that threat. I love sports because it transmits great emotions, at this time sports betting is allowing bettors to achieve self-control. Although I also think that other sport betting alternatives will be created.
1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Check list before depositing in any crypto casino. on: April 30, 2020, 09:05:23 AM
As a precautionary measure, it is necessary to keep a checklist before deciding to play on a new online gambling site. Although I would prefer the recognized sites for my gambling activities so as not to suffer some type of scam.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayor Of Las Vegas wants the whole city open, including casinos and stadiums on: April 30, 2020, 02:47:23 AM
I do not understand why there are still people who think that the Coronavirus is not something lethal and even worse are the people who were chosen to direct the destiny of a state or nation.
I have a friend who lives in Las Vegas and she tells me that there are people who want to reopen economic activities in her city, as well as others who disagree.
Because they think that it is not the time to do it due to the high rates of contagion that are still counted every day.
