No, GeoCoin is not my project. I liked the idea of GeoCoin so I allowed @tobler to peer review the code and use it for her GeoCashing website. I have also allowed @Joint Force to peer review the code and use it for The 420 Alliance Joint Force if needed. I will be making the wallet open source one day. I am holding back on this though because if there is a bug and dumb developers use it... it could destroy some coins and give a bad rep. to altcoins. BY allowing the code to be peer reviewed bugs should be found. |

No. It's still in development as are a few other decentralized markets and exchanges. I'm sure when it goes live this forum will be packed full of threads and discussion about it. I'm quite excited for them personally.
what other decentralized markets like OB are opening up? When it goes live this year, MaidSafe will be the mother of all decentralization. It's gonna be New Decentralized Internet. Ethereum and storj will also be useful. Since all of these things are open source, they will probably all work together at some point. |

A quality coin! It was 0% premined.They are providing medicine to people who need it. They have been helping connect marijuana growers to people in need since before bitcoin existed. Most darkmarkets ( if they accept altcoins as future ones well) can get your weed to regardless ,but your point take in the big picture of things it would be nice to have it on record as such. Should be an interesting next 2-5 years to say the least! I have also recommended that he buys the higher quality power banks that can recharge a cell phone or other cool new electronic devices 4+ times before the power bank needs to be recharged. I see a huge market for this product and the products they can recharge. I also like the "stake for charity" feature of HyperStake. I would love to donate a % of my coins to @with the lemons! and another % to anyone who helps out in non dev ways. that feature originated in HBN. ECC and (i think) FLT have something similar, i use it to send the hardworking devs a %age when i stake  It's a nice feature. I hope PoS gets fixed by someone. I wonder if the HBN, ECC, FLT or HYP dev would want to work with @with the lemons! on getting PoS fixed. |

I'm more interested in doing a diverse banding campaign. THC in general is quite popular among a certain crowd. HEMP is probably way more popular, but with a different crowd.
I would want someone to create a wallet called HEMP with all HEMP stuff that uses the same blockchain as THC.
Then once that is complete, someone could get HEMP on poloniex.
bittrex would have THC, poloniex would have HEMP. Both the same coin. No confusion involved.
This would extend the audience reach. It's an innovative idea that no coin has done yet.
Fair enough, but I think it would be somewhat confusing to some people though. I'd say if we rebrand then it should be everywhere. THC might attract one type of crowd, but I think HEMP would be better with the public. Hemp farmers and such aren't necessarily down with cannabis. Would it look a little something like this? Imagine if you could pull off the bottom hempcoin nub and then stick in a glass bowl with a rubber connector into that place! It would convert into a bong. woohoo. That'd be so tight. @fartbags is this what you're trying to get going? That would be an amazing idea. I was just thinking a vodka with a hemp nug in it with > 1% THC levels. Less than 1% THC is considered HEMP. A bong bottle would be cool! I would pay a lot of money for that bottle of vodka. I'm down with a HEMP switch. HEMP is a word that everyone is comfortable with in society. THC not so much. |
