I'm trying to register on the megapari site via the link in the above thread but I'm having problems with SLL warnings. What do I have to do?

I tried the registration link on several different browsers, and I did not encounter any problem with opening the registration page. Try to recheck your browser, and clear the cache...

You have two links, one is for registration LINK, while the second one leads directly to the Crush game LINK, which is the subject of this promotion

1543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: PI Network! A huge trap[Warning!] on: July 30, 2023, 10:04:14 PM
It's now being investigated by vietnam's regulator

This is probably best news I heard from this thread, which was full, for three years already, with naive people believing in this scam, trying to defend it, trying to promote it, trying to explain that Pi Network is actually a good cryptocurrency etc., etc., etc.

Unfortunately, that's just Vietnam. I don't want to sound disparaging of them, but they are not the players whose decision significantly resonates in the crypto world. Certainly good news when it comes to Pi trash.

Somehow, it reminds me of One Coin and BitConnect. In their cases it also took the authorities a few years but once the legal procedures started they did not end. Curiously, One Coin is still alive in some parts of the world, where their scammers still believe that they can lure someone to buy their lies. The Bulgarian woman behind One Coin is still nowhere to be found. Let's see if the ones behind Pi Network will get caught.

Because of these fraudulent schemes, in the public Bitcoin and the entire crypto are equated with pyramid schemes. Although none of them has anything to do with cryptocurrencies, except that they added "coin" to the name.
1544  Economy / Services / Re: Sinbad.io Mix Your BTC Quickly AVATAR contest | Win up to $200 on: July 30, 2023, 09:49:39 PM
Sinbad.io has a new website design and some specific changes to the logo itself. Maybe it could be a starting point for new avatar ideas.

Why do designers always apply their work at the last minute, I saw that practice in many contests. Is it about "hiding" the idea?

Check the Sinbad text under the 'Organizer' column. Clicking on it will now take you to the project's ANN thread. Alternatively, you can connect it to a profile page. In this case that of SinBad.io would be fitting for the above example.

Maybe it is just more additional work. The question is how helpful the links to the ANN thread would be. I assume that everyone who starts a giveaway or contest definitely places links to ANN, the site or wherever they want to direct visitors.
The link to the giveaway threads is still the most important, it is obvious that the OP is the initiator or at least the manager and can give all the necessary explanations.

1548  Economy / Services / Re: [HOLD] Sherbet.com 🍭 Signature Campaign | Reward up-to $130/w on: July 28, 2023, 05:21:32 PM
Am just wondering why I didn't make it for the bonus this week despite recording total of 48 posts (a range of the second highest in total posts) for the week spreadsheet with 28 of the posts in gambling section which is the second highest number for the numbers of gambling posts for this week.
Not questioning your decision in particular but just curious!

Maybe the manager prioritized the quality of the posts, which is emphasized for the bonus rewards. If only the quantity were rewarded, it would be an invitation for spammers, and I believe that is not the main goal of the campaign.
EXTRA BONUS
▶️ Each week, I will pick three of the best-quality posters to win $30 each.
1549  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Viabtc Cloud Mining, read before you buy. on: July 28, 2023, 10:25:38 AM
TL:DR, Cloud mining assuming it isn't a straightforward scam, is most likely going to make you lose money, it's extremely rare for the events that make it profitable to actually happen, and even if and ones they happen, you are very likely to not benefit from them.

I am of the opinion that every cloud mining should be labelled as a scam. No exceptions. So far, I have not seen cloud mining profitable for users, only for owners.
About 10 years ago, I saw it for the first time on the cex.io exchange, I even bought that Ghash of theirs, which really brought some kind of income. But everything ended up like what you wrote in the table. With no real profit, they are hanging on the edge of breaking even. It's a good thing that they stopped doing it themselves without an exit scam.

I really don't know why Binance starts something like this, big red flag for them because of that.
1550  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Sportsbook & Casino 🎲⚽ on: July 27, 2023, 08:51:42 PM
Disregarding the current situation right now, I am inclined to think the opposition toward cicadasTR's flag is an exercise of good judgment. The flag was a reference to an accusation thread where narrative was conditioned and the evidences were fabricated. Will you say examplens is biased because he opposed a flag that's raised under a violation of ToS [refusal to perform KYC], a false accusation, and based on invalid evidences?

Both flags set by lesliegray and cicadasTR refer to cases where they received their funds.
So, cicadasTR case Betnomi 0.16090?? BTC no pay, bet history missing, geoblocked post withdrawal is positively solved for him and there is no basis for a supporting flag.
lesliegray created a flag on this Betnomi closed my account and took my funds (3600$) after I completed KYC also decided in his favour, the flag is defective in this case.

examplens, you did oppose my flag as well and when I saw your replies to my posts I quickly understood that you don't have a clue on how things works.

I would say that you don't understand very well how things work with creating flags. At some point, you both you and cicadasTR created a flag for the same thing and asked for support. When we add to that his cicadasTR attempted manipulation in that case, you both got a question mark from me for bias.
I think I even got a PM from you, where you said that you made a mistake and that you didn't know how the flag system works.

I will not go further into this discussion. If you want to argue with someone and ask for support to slander anyone, I am not a good interlocutor for that.

If we talk about my bias, it can only be towards a fair and honest business. I have no relationship with Betnomi. I don't know anyone from there, I've never had an account there, nor have I ever received money from them.
If there is a real case, with unequivocal evidence against them, I will not hesitate to support the flag in that case or to leave them negative feedback.
1551  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: MEGAPARI Crash week | 0.004 BTC (≈$120) Prize pool to win! on: July 27, 2023, 08:18:03 PM
Hi All! Make sure to play the right slot - the game is called "Crash" and you can reach it by clicking on the first picture on "PLAY NOW" button.  Good luck!

I played a bit but completely forgot to take a screenshot during the game. I can only set bet history. Is that acceptable or must there be both screenshots* (during the game and history)?
Recording the screen and creating a screenshot from there is complicated and a bit tiring.
It would be good if each bet had its own ID, which you could check. This game also lacks an all-bet history, at least the latest 10 games.
1552  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] SINBAD.IO [Mix Your BTC Quickly] Signature Campaign | Up-to $150/w on: July 27, 2023, 05:51:35 PM
Looks like it was just another week. I did not see much enthusiasm to many members. Reason?

We are entering a vacation period, where many end up taking a few days to stay away from the computer. This can cause less activity to occur overall.

It seems that the whole forum has lost a little enthusiasm in the last few days. I also attribute it to the summer period and vacation time, plus nothing significant is happening globally.
1553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a person buy a hardware wallet where crypto is ban? on: July 26, 2023, 11:43:28 PM
Congratulations on your Ledger arrival even though it is characterized as a USB flash drive, it is just a simple camouflage and the Customs people will not know it.
But why do you still trust Ledger? There is a Phrase feature that can be extracted (a controversial feature).

Crypto is not illegal in my country. Hardware wallets are available on regular sale.
By the way, I got Ledger in a prize contest, just before the last scandal with recovery keys. I only use it for some testing and fun, Trezor is still my main wallet.
1554  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which app would you recommend for crypto news? on: July 26, 2023, 11:28:26 PM
I see that no one has mentioned OmegaStarScream Telegram bot, it seems that it went unnoticed when he published it. It's fine, pull news from several sources
https://t.me/BitnewsNotifier

I occasionally read things on Reddit, other members often add comments if the news is incomplete or biased. It can be useful.
1555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a person buy a hardware wallet where crypto is ban? on: July 26, 2023, 11:18:03 PM
If cryptocurrencies are banned in your country, avoid ordering hardware wallets directly from online shops outside your nation. There might be a network of individuals involved in supplying hardware wallets, so finding trustworthy suppliers is crucial. Some wallets may manage to bypass customs detection, but you'll need to conduct a thorough investigation to identify them as I don't have specific names to provide.

Alternatively, you could seek assistance from someone you trust, who resides in a country where cryptocurrencies are allowed. They could help you acquire a hardware wallet and make the process easier for you.

I have to admit that I was surprised what I read it here. Bangladesh has banned crypto, and just having a crypto wallet is enough to get jailed. What madness. Well, every mobile device can be a wallet for cryptocurrency, is owning one also punishable? How stupid is the one who designed such a law and still enforces it?

Ledger arrived for me, where the parcel is characterized as a USB flash memory, I believe that such a way can work in this case as well.
1556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Online mining on: July 26, 2023, 09:25:42 PM
Well, it is not too late for OP to still build up a team who could take up the trading platform and develop it to be finish as that should be a major project of focus for OP to look into as it has to do with trading and that is the current trend and there definitely would be millions of people out there to give it a try.

The OP should think about other things, for example, what is an honourable way of doing business. Developing any serious platform requires effort and work, and I have doubts about his work ethic. I looked at his post history, and he was previously interested in virtual mining, he is obviously more interested in such a thing. This is a scammer in the announcement, the only question is when will he find a seller for everything he needs, cloud mining script and fake offshore company.
I will not be surprised if soon I see his victims opening scam accusation topics.
1557  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Exchange] GRAVIEX Exchange: low fees, fast withdrawals, high security on: July 26, 2023, 08:54:09 PM
I hear about ETH becoming a staking platform but haven't read up much on it.  Are these L2 tokens able to stake and thus earn more coins?

Many shit tokens offer to stake to stimulate holders and reduce sales and thus avoid a drop in value. This gives them time to cash in their profits and often easy preparation for an exit scam.

I registered on Graviex a long time ago, probably because of some coins listed only there. I went to check the status, and I am surprised that my account is still active.
It looks like an abandoned ship. In open orders, there are just a few hundred bucks in total.
$28701 highest sell bid  Cheesy

1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: July 26, 2023, 08:15:59 PM
So far the validated users are increasing little by little, the most annoying thing is the difficulty of getting an invite code even in my community there is still a lack of invite codes,

This should be a good sign, it means that there are new people interested. There was a period when no one wanted invitations.

There are several reasons why I didn't have the motivation to share invites, nor to try to make meaningful flips, so maybe I missed some things. For example, why it became important how many coins the inviter has in the stake? I see that it is often emphasized, but I have not been able to recognize why it is important to someone new, who is being validated for the first time.
1559  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How about decentralized community blockchain marketplaces without escrow? on: July 26, 2023, 06:31:36 PM
Both Ebay and Amazon never used an escrow service that made sellers wait to receive payment for the items they sold and shipped. Not using an escrow seemed to have worked out well for them.
Yes, but they have buyer protection. I will get my money back if you ship bogus items and provide services that don't work as advertised.

Plus, a ban on their platforms for sellers is a bigger penalty than simply returning money through escrow.

Probably the most complicated part of the escrow is to confirm that there really was an exchange of goods. This is not a problem with transactions on a public blockchain like Bitcoin, already when the mediator has to determine whether a certain service has been performed in all the frameworks of the contract.

For a while, the platform https://zen.land/ was quite active here, I tested them and they seemed promising.

OP, @SelfCustody, is there a possibility to write all the answers in one post, and not to write a new post for each reply? It's just tiring to read, and otherwise, it's against the forum rules

I am in the process of writing. Here we had strong storms that caused serious damage to the internet and electrical network infrastructure, so I have been in very difficult conditions for the last few days. If there are additional outages today, I will post this so far written, around 70%.

I definitely wanted to ask, is adding screenshots mandatory or necessary? repeating the screenshot from the application probably only serves as proof that we really went through the process.
