721  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 13, 2023, 10:48:30 PM
Likewise, you cannot mix coins on Mixtum, Webmixer, [banned mixer] without Jambler.

Just as you cannot visit Facebook without googling it?  Lmao.  You can access these mixers without Jambler.  Some of them are older than Jambler.

Is there any chance that before commenting, you can first inform yourself about what exactly Jambler offers and why we mention it in this discussion? Lmao. Also, do a little research on Jambler's relationship with the mixers mentioned above.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Start your TRON Business for Free it's a good opportunity to start this on: December 13, 2023, 12:11:24 PM
You try to be funny ok .. anyways Also

You are not funny at all, scammers here are not funny to anyone.

But to clarify, you created an account and came here to offer get-rich-quick schemes. At the same time, all you have behind you is a newly created account here and two Telegram groups with 4 and 20 subscribers.
There have been quite a few such attempts to extort money from scammers on this forum, some of them were much more sophisticated than yours. Fortunately, we all grew up here, so you'll have to look for victims elsewhere. Also, coming with alt accounts will not help you, but will only cause negative feedback on all connected accounts.

So, this is your stupid idea to get money, but that doesn't mean you can't be wise and stop this.

I will repost what inthelongrun says, there are never enough warnings about scammers.

Warning especially to newbies in crypto!

BEWARE! THIS IS A SCAM!
723  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The coin mixer advertised here stole my coins on: December 13, 2023, 11:52:42 AM
The OP was never interested in knowing the name of the mixer he allegedly lost $7 with while he was mixing. Or to make it more, when someone created a thread (especially Scam Accusation) and does not even provide any evidence it cannot be taken seriously.

He didn't even remember the name of the mixer, not that he followed any of their instructions. I think the most vital information is to know which mixer we are talking about, it's all speculation now. His whole theory that he came up with to spit on mixer services would fall apart if he were on a scam site.
724  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 13, 2023, 11:41:27 AM
[...]
Let me ask a rhetorical question... As an end user, can you mix your bitcoins using the Jambler website? No ... And this is the correct answer.

Likewise, you cannot mix coins on Mixtum, Webmixer, [banned mixer] without Jambler. If by some chance Jambler or any partner mixer from their list was under investigation or seized, it would reflect on all the others and probably at the same time they would all have the same fate.

Regardless of theymos' decision, this is also an interesting question for the authorities. Who is responsible here, the Jambler that provides the complete mixing service or the official mixer partner that only promotes that service?

If an exception is acceptable, Jambler does not mix directly under its name, but I do it masked behind several other brands/domains. Maybe other non-Jambler mixers could adopt this model in a way that promotes the software on which the mixer works. So we could have, for example, tumblersoft.io which is the parent of [banned mixer] mixer or Unidevs, which provides background support to ensure clean coins for Unijoin...

725  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should Ratimov be in DT1? on: December 12, 2023, 09:00:18 PM
Where do we draw the line? In another case, theymos posted this:
I'd say that there's a 25% chance of him being the original
That was enough for several red tags.

I'm a little curious, but how is this percentage determined?
Is there an application for that, and what does the algorithm look like by which something abstractly like this is converted into percentages?

This was probably the fastest, steepest downfall of any well-established account, ever.

I can't believe he let what appeared to be a simple argument drag him all the way down to this level.

I also can't believe this thread has gone on for 19 pages, lol.

Yes, this was definitely an express self-destruction. The good thing is that he didn't put his hand in anyone's wallet, at least there are no such accusations. Of course, if we ignore the contest from which he withdrew his sponsorship, there is no abuse of exiting the high-rank level from this forum. About "ever", You've been here long enough to remember members like master-P or yogg who left their forum reputations with "fireworks".  Wink
726  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitMixList.com - Bitcoin Mixer List on: December 12, 2023, 08:37:50 PM
Non-promotionally linking to a mixer's ANN thread will be allowed, whether or not it's a defunct mixer.
I don't know, but banning signatures and all promotional activities would be enough.
There's also this part:
- Mixer URLs will be automatically wordfiltered out, but you can still discuss mixers otherwise.
I guess we'll have to see how compatible that is with linking to a site that lists all URLs.

however, theymos understood that it could not be too restrictive, so he eased some of the rules. I believe that over time the most constructive solution will be defined.
Here is the most direct answer from theymos about mixer collections like this.
could you tell me whether my service's thread that ony lists and discusses mixers will be allowed here or I should wipe it before January? The thread in question: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5476445

It's OK.
727  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: December 12, 2023, 08:29:07 PM
-snip-

I always thought that Refund addresses were used only when exchanging XMR.

You may be right, I was converting from Bitcoin to Litecoin. Even so, this part of the process Bitcoin Refund address is not the most clear to me.
728  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Forget about exchanger search! Use BestChange! on: December 12, 2023, 08:23:33 PM
TOP 3 BestChange.com’s useful features

You may not heard about them, but these features can make the website’s usage experience significantly easier and better.

I believe that the most valuable feature you offer is the feedback system. I have noticed lately that you have introduced some new changes and now it looks something different. As far as I can see, there are now four types of reviews, active financial claims, settled fin. claims, comments and positive reviews. Seems like a good improvement.

My suggestion is that all four review badges should be visible when looking at the list of exchangers (in the reviews column), not only when we visit each partner separately.

729  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: December 12, 2023, 08:07:33 PM
I just made a transaction, I am quite satisfied with the whole process. Maybe I'll write a complete review somewhere.
What confuses me is entering the Refund address, which is not mandatory, but can be added later. However, during the process, I did not have the opportunity to enter it afterwards. Did I overlook it and why is it not mandatory? If a refund of the address was required, would I have to request a refund from support and what does that process look like?

I admit that the explanation on the website is not the most specific.
Quote
Refund address is optional to create an order and can be provided later when needed, however it can't be changed later once provided
730  Other / Archival / Re: ➡️➡️ [ANN] | [banned mixer] | BITCOIN MIXER ⬅️⬅️ on: December 12, 2023, 07:59:02 PM
Is everything ok with the [banned mixer] clearnet page?
On my side, the site is not available on two different browsers (Chrome and Opera), while the Tor site is online and active.

Can I ask a question? Of course I can, here it is :

Of course, you can, but wouldn't it be better to check a little before you write the first thing that comes to your mind? @coupable already answered that the campaigns were planned much earlier, but of course, you couldn't check that, could you?

note: these are rhetorical questions, you don't have to answer, I would even appreciate it if you refrained.

So this mixer is operated by the state of Israel? Good to know, that means nobody should ever use this mixer.

Good to know, now we should never use that wallet and any service suggesting that wallet.

What are you talking about, man?
Most forum users consider you a troll, only in this thread do you show how superficially you conclude, so why would anyone take these suggestions of yours seriously?

note: these are also rhetorical questions, you don't have to answer, I would even appreciate it if you refrained. I'm not even going to answer you, so once again I'm asking you to refrain from further replies.
731  Economy / Reputation / Re: Theymos reputation thread on: December 12, 2023, 06:47:46 PM
  • Casinos are not notorious bad players like mixers. The reason they are prohibited from promoting in some places is just ethics and believes

theymos decision to ban mixers was forced due to numerous investigations and the seizure of mixers by the authorities, and all this is to protect the forum. As both he and the forum are under US jurisdiction, if the US bans crypto casinos, it will be reflected on this forum as well. Looking at what is happening, it is not an impossible scenario at all.

Gambling is already quite dominant on this forum and such a trend continues because it seems that this industry has best adapted and implemented crypto-currencies. Certainly, I can't shake the impression that gambling and all discussions about it maintain the "popularity" of this forum to a considerable extent.
732  Economy / Services / Re: @Hugeblack 🌟 Signature Design -▌Since 2017 ▌- on: December 12, 2023, 06:03:54 PM
I completely forgot that you did the signature design as if an entire eternity had passed. Some of these designs are among the best I've seen on the forum, why did you even stop with this service?
Certainly, good luck with this service, although I am not sure about the perspective of business with signature campaigns here.
733  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ratimov sold his account on: December 12, 2023, 10:23:38 AM
Personally, I tagged the Symmetrick account when too many questions arose about the account no longer being operated by the original owner/creator but apart from one other red tag it seems as though members have refrained from tagging.
I don't really see the point of adding more tags: if it changed owner, there's a clear warning now for anyone to avoid doing business with Ratimov's new nickname. If he's just grumpy and ignoring all the drama he caused, there's no need for more tags. Any reputation he had is gone.

It is questionable to leave negative feedback based on suspicion or assumptions. There is no clear evidence.
With or without negative tags, Ratim's/Symmetrick account no longer enjoys the reputation it once had, so they do not disturb anything in his status. Based on the large number of already written posts and the fact that he is still active in the largest local community, that makes him interesting for campaign signatures.
734  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: December 08, 2023, 07:04:16 PM
I saw the thread on Altcointalks, their payrate is much lower than what was offered on bitcointalk. The top quality posters who were in such campaigns will think twice over going there to promote it unless the pay is compensated in some other form. I am sure the managers are doing well managing this and since I am not willing to add in another account to that forum, I will stay here and focus on the issues on this forum. Cheesy

Not sure how some of the members can manage two forums at the same time. Kudos to those who can! Roll Eyes

The payrate is probably determined based on activity and forum attendance. If 4 out of 8 mixer signature campaigns move there, it will definitely cause more activity on the Altt forum. Greater activity and attendance cause an increase in the payment rate in campaigns. The opposite can happen to the Bitcointalk forum, because let's not lie, at least 50% of the traffic here is thanks to signature campaigns.

This sucks big time. Signature campaigns will be effectively limited to casinos.

Not only casinos. There are also exchanges that advertise on the forum, such as Best Change or eXch.cx, although they advertise much less than casinos.

Everything looks like a gentle introduction to KYC on the forum and limits it to only KYC services. Don't be surprised if you soon see a ban on advertising for NO-KYC exchanges, and even casinos.

In the meantime, I'd highly recommend checking out our latest blog posts for some exciting reads.
Don't miss our /blog/top-picks-for-anonymous-bitcoin-wallets]"Top Picks for Anonymous Bitcoin Wallets" , /blog/top-anonymous-cryptocurrencies]"Top Anonymous Cryptocurrencies." and /blog/privacy-of-bitcoin]"Privacy of Bitcoin."
These articles are a great way to stay informed and make the most of our services.

Good news from Tumbler.
However, I must point out one wrong statement that I read in one of your blogs. When we talk about choosing the best Anonymous Bitcoin wallets, Ledger can't possibly be in close competition here. We all already know many of their shortcomings, but just yesterday someone published an analysis of their application and the results are in great contrast to privacy and anonymity for all users of this wallet.
They collect every piece of information about the user's activities within the wallet, from the most common scroll to assets.

Here is a Twitter thread: https://x.com/rektbuildr/status/1732542258698694875?s=20

Altcoins Talks: 1395106 Posts in 284790 Topics by 87872 Members
Bitcointalk: 63246708 Posts in 1371331 Topics by 3579237 Members

Evo malo poredjenje bitcointalk i altcointalk

Thanks and best regards

What is with my place C for Willi9974 ?

Why are you two spamming this thread? The raffle is over, we have a winner, so there is no need for this. Just look at a few posts above.
739  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hotbit stops operation on: December 08, 2023, 11:01:13 AM
A CEX that locked up customer's money after a quick short notice of shutting down and now returning as a DEX promising a better service? No, thank you  Grin
Why the quick U-turn?
Well a short notice is better than no notice at all. Usually exchanges only notice their users once they've closed markets and withdrawals and at best require KYC to customers in order to recover their funds. I've been able to withdraw my funds without KYC or any endless procedure, so I wouldn't say it's the worst closing experience I underwent, unfortunately. They certainly could do better but if they thought they had nastily scammed their customers I don't think they would come back with the same brand name and the same social media accounts, and they would leave open their customer service. Anyway I'm not very optimistic about the success of their DEX though.

Here's my case, luckily it was a miserable amount, but still my money.
I had some tokens worth $10 there. In the regular withdrawal process, it would cost me part of those tokens and that would be max. $0.5. After their notice, I was curious to go through the process, so I went to clear that account, but the withdrawal of that token was disabled. I contacted support and they soon enabled the withdrawal, but this time the fee was around 50 USDT.
Now tell me that is fair and honourable behaviour.

I will definitely give them negative feedback everywhere, we don't need such petty swindlers
740  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ratimov sold his account on: December 08, 2023, 10:36:22 AM
If you need solid proof, it only can come from theymos or Cyrus, two forum admins.

There has certainly been a change in his approach to giving sMerit. He spent 200 merits in just 32 seconds, on some very old (iconic) posts, and accounts that have not been active in any discussion for a long time. You can't blame him, it's satoshi, laszlo, etc... but I'm still under the impression that this is not what is expected from a merit source.

I believe that Shenanigan is Bitcoin SV's alt. In case you haven't noticed, he has same delusional behavior as BSV. Besides, he keeps making a post then deleting it immediately after, only for posting it again but a bit changed, just like BSV does. As a plus, he also edits the posts (which he does not delete), deleting substantial parts from them, in case someone points the finger to something chaotic / idiotic written by him -- also just like BSV does. For example, just look at the post where you quoted me, which contains a quote from him -- he deleted that post, after he realized he asked an imbecility (n.b. -- that is what account selling means). Then he posted again this post, but slightly changed.

As a plus, he also tends to make same typing / grammar mistakes made by BSV as well. Let's not forget also the constant use of emotes, also just like BSV.

He also reminds me of someone, but since I ignore most trolls, I didn't manage to recognize who it was. Just another account to ignore. I'm even surprised that so many more experienced members enter into a discussion with him.
Don't feed the troll.
